Fate/Stay Night x Kamen Rider
Journey through the Kaleidoscope
Prologue: A Shining figure amongst the flames
Walking the path of Hevan, to rule over everything…
Tired physically, emotionally and Magecraft wise, still Emiya Kiritsugu kept moving forward as he walked through the burning landscape he found himself in, one that was unrecognisable from bustling city that it had been only a few hours ago, doing his best not jostle the small child that he carried in his arms to much.
Strange, he'd wanted to create a world where all of man would finally be free of all its woes, it was for that reason that he'd sought out the Holy Grail, to use its power to create his ideal world only to discover that to create it would require him to sacrifice everyone but himself.
He'd been on the verge of giving up when he'd happened across the boy that he now carried in his arms, the child had been moments from death, despite being the sole being that he'd been able to save Kitritsugu
As he walked he felt something fall against his face before one by one drops of rain descended from the sky above, the light shower quickly turning into a down fall, steam from the flames rising into the air.
As the rain feel a small groaning noise caught Kiritsugu's attention, noticing that that the rust haired boy stirred, the feel of the raindrops on his face stirring him from his slumber.
"Huh," He heard the boy say, "What's that? That wasn't there before, was it?"
Hearing him say this, Kiritsugu stopped in his tracks as looked down at the boy in his arms, seeing the child looking up at the sky above. Confused the older man turned his gaze towards the spot where the boy was looking, he saw it. There a spot of bright light could be seen in the nights sky.
At first Kiritsugu didn't think much of it many would think it nothing more than a stay, however the longer he looked at it the Emiya Magus noticed that whatever it was that it was gradually growing larger and brighter by the second.
"Hmmm," He said to himself, a frown appearing on his face as he gazed upon it, "That can't be a star…"
All of a sudden his frown vanished and his eyes widened as a look of horror spread itself across his face. "Wait, is that…?" Panic creeping into his voice.
Second by second the point of light grew brighter and larger revealing itself to be a meteorite, a yellowish streak trailing behind the massive space rock hurtling towards the ground below, the impact sight of the impact looking to be where the city's park had been, the same location that had served as the site where the Fourth Holy Grail War had reached its conclusion.
Before they knew it the rock struck the Earth, a sudden burst of bright light and heat erupting from the impact site, moments later the sound of an almost deafening explosion filled the air accompanied by the force of the impact.
'Shit...' The mercenary inwardly cursed, knowing full well that he'd never outrun the shockwave that was barrelling towards him and his charge, not under his own power anyway. 'Time Alter: Double Accel…'
Channelling the last of his remaining Prana through his Circuits, Kiritsugu sped away, his surroundings becoming a blur as he attempted to put as much distance between himself and the force of the impact as it nipped at his heels.
Before long the last of Kiritsugu's Prana drained away, his surroundings quickly coming back into focus, moments later the washed over both Kiritsugu and the child, knocking them off of their feet and sending them to ground before being buried beneath dirt and debris, both of their world quickly becoming dark.
An unknown amount of time later Kiritsugu's eyes blinked open, a pained groan escaping from him as he did so, finding himself pinned underneath a pile of debris. Shaking his head he took stock of his surroundings, seeing that while the fires had largely died down the force of the meteorite impact had only further devastated the city and had more than likely increased the number human casualties brought on by the nights disaster.
Emiya Kiritsugu wasn't a religious man, being the sole survivor of an island full of essentially zombies and watching people from the church eradicate any and all trace of the populace off the face of the Earth as if they never existed, that kind of thing made it neigh impossible for him to believe in the existence of a loving God.
Still, even for someone like him he couldn't help but wonder with everything that had happened tonight, first the hellish inferno caused by the Holy Grail War and now a meteor, if this was some kind of divine retribution from God upon mankind, punishment for all of their sins.
All of a sudden Kiritsugu was snapped out of his thoughts when he felt something begin squirming, quickly recalling the boy that he'd rescued earlier. With his arms he reached around as far as he could before he felt something solid, calling upon his strength he guided it to the surface, a mop of rust coloured hair breathing through the dirt beside him, coughing fiercely before taking in several deep breaths.
"Are you…are you alright?" Kiritsugu asked him, the bow turning to look at him. "Do you think you can get yourself free?"
The boy looked at him, giving the messy haired man a slow nod. "I…I think so."
"Ok." Kiritsugu told him, "You need to get out of here and get to safety."
"Wha…what?" The boy replied, sounding both surprised. "What about you?"
"Forget about me, focus on saving yourself." Kiritsugu said firmly. "I did not save your life back there just so you could die here alongside me."
"No, no." The boy replied stubbornly, "I…I don't want to leave you here, I don't want to lose anyone else."
Kiritsugu almost sighed in frustration, why was this kid being so stubborn?
Just as he was to try and talk sense into the child a suddenly a bright light caught both his and the boy's attention. Turning to look in its direction the two of them were greeted by the sight of a humanoid figure clad in strange looking armor and helmet approaching them, their body emitting a glow that obscured the majority of their features, despite this both the mercenary Magus and the child could manage to make out two large lenses on their helmet as well as a beetle like horn attached to their forehead and a pair of wings protruding from its back which suddenly vanished.
For a few moments both the two of them and the glowing figure stared at one another in silence before all of a sudden the light that the armored figure was giving off intensified, becoming so bright that neither Kiritsugu or the boy couldn't bear to look upon them anymore, the older shielding his eyes with the back of his hand, eventually the light died away.
"Hey, are alright?" Hearing a voice, Kiritsugu unshielded his eyes blinking a few times before him was an Asian man with shaggy dark hair who looked to be in his early twenties kneeling before him, clad in a beige shirt and pants. Strongly enough he looked pretty clean looking, not looking as if he'd been caught up in the fire nor been buried under dirt.
"Here, let's get you out of there." The stranger replied, rising up he then set about clearing rubble off of the pair.
"No…no, don't worry about me," Kiritsugu spoke up, holding out the boy to the man before him, "The boy, take him."
Hearing him say this the stranger didn't argue, reaching out he took the boy from Kiritsugu into his arms, being as gentle as he could, whispering a few words to him before he set the child down and turned his attention on digging out the mercenary Magus.
"Here," the stranger said once he'd moved enough of the debris for Kiritsugu to crawl himself free, offering him a hand. "Take my hand."
Regarding the man's hand for a few second Kiritsugu took hold of it, allowing himself to be pulled up onto his knees. No sooner was he out, the boy launching himself at Kiritsugu, wrapping his arms around him and burying his head in his chest.
"There, are you alright?" The stranger asked.
"I'll…I'll be fine, thank you," Kiritsugu replied, wrapping an arm, around the boys' shoulders before he turned his head in the stranger's direction. "I'm sorry, I didn't ask who are you?"
"Me, I'm a man who walks the path of Heaven," The shaggy haired man replied, a small smile spreading across his face, "Tendou Souji…"
Fate/Stay Night x Kamen Rider Kabuto
Fate/Clock Up
AN And with that a new chapter is in the bag. Sorry this ones late, my internet connections been kinda wonky recently. Thankfully its seems fine now.
Anyway as you can see in this installement we walk the path of Heaven with Kamen Rider Kabuto. All in all a pretty straight forward chapter, actually I initially I had different idea for a Kabuto chapter but the idea came to me and figured that it would make for a good starting point. On first Decade chapter I talked a little about potential ideas for how Fate/Kabuto chapter that I'll can hopefully expand upon in future installments.
Since this chapter itself is pretty simple I guess we've got a little time to talk Toku.
First thing is that King-Ohger has reached its conclusion, 😭, I'm not ready to say goodbye, the show was so good. While its far from perfect King-Ohger is definitely my favourite Sentai at the moment, probably one of the most unique shows we've gotten recently and I'm sad to see it go. Ah well, still got the crossover with Donbrothers plus a V-Cinema with the Kyoryugers to look forward to.
Still as one show ends another and a new one takes its place, that one being Bakuage Sentai Bonnboomger. Some information on the show dropped that's go me a little more interested in the show then I was before. Also according to rumors that have come out recently apparently Boonboomger will feature cameo's by both the Go-Ongers and ToQgers just as the Kyoryugers cameoed in King-Ohger, guess we'll see if that comes true or not.
The show's not even aired its first episode yet and we've all ready got some information on the sixth Boonboomger will be a violet, given that the color line up for Boonboomgers is the same as Battle Fever I've seen some comments saying that it could be a nod to Stacy/Staceaser from Zenkaiger who's suit was a reference to Battle Fever.
Speaking of Zenkaiger, the show features a character called Boondorio who's basically a Kikainoid from Zenkaiger, he can grow to become the main component of the Boonboomger Robo and is voiced by Rica Matsumoto
On the Rider side of thing latest episode of Gotchard quite a we got our first look at Iron Gotchard, which came from Steamliner upgrading itself into Tenliner much like how Madwheel upgraded itself into Machwheel, and will become half Gotchard's next main form Platinum Gotchard after Hopper1 also upgrades itself. Funnily enough some information on Iron Gotchard is that a drawback to using it is that it erases the users memories, kinda an interesting detail given and the first part of the latest episode featured an Eraser Chemy and Horuto reminiscing about his first transformation into Gotchard could be seen as foreshadowing to this.
Also we got a small titbit into Minato's past, apparently he may been involved in the death of a fellow Alchemist in the same incident that killed Spanner's parents 10 years prior to the show and Greyon is using that as leverage over him. Then again, since we already know that Greyon used his powers to convince the organisation that Fuga was a traitor I can totally see it that Minato didn't actually kill anyone and only thinks he did cos of Greyon head screwing him.
On the other hand we got Dread Mark 2 and damn, the way the skeletal arm grabbed a hold of the Repli Unicorn to integrate it into the Dread suit felt very Primitive Dragon.
Anyway I think I'm done for now. As always feel free to drop a comment and tell me was you thought of this one. Got more chapters in the works and I'll catch you all on the next chapter.
Till next time, peace out y'all.
