Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Wolf and the Tiger. Enjoy the 2300-word chapter. I do not own Kung Fu Panda; Dream Works and a few others do.
Kiba looked at Zhen. The small fox reminded him of someone but they seemed hesitant to speak.
Still? They walked? They walked to try and find Juniper City. He sighed to himself as he cracked his fingers, bored in himself.
They had been tired, exhausted and he was amused for now. He was too tired at the end of the day to try and think of what was growing on his mind.
"This still reminds me of Gongmen City," Kiba said as he shook his head. "Shen… Wonder what happened to him after his death… Or what happened to his army." Kiba stated with a sigh.
"We took down his army, remember?" Tigress asked, tapping her paws on the straps on her backpack. "And with his general dead? There was no leadership, other groups picked his army apart." Tigress said as Kiba hummed.
"Just thinking about the last time… The last time we went to a giant city dozens of miles away, Ti." Kiba stated with a deep breath. "Po, how long does the Corsac Fox say?" Kiba asked as Zhen blinked.
"How do you know what type of fox I am, Grandpa?" Zhen asked, Tigress growling as Kiba snorted.
"Your face markings. I have seen foxes with those markings before, most came from other parts of China…" Kiba said before leaning close. "Second? Call me Grandpa again and I will carry you… After knocking you unconscious, ok?" Kiba asked, fangs poking out his mouth.
Zhen leaped forward as she realized Kiba and the others were just as powerful as her master recalled. It told her a LOT that Kiba looked like he could knock her out with one punch if he wanted.
"Easy, old man," Tigress said as Kiba sighed.
"Not you, Ti…" Kiba muttered, slumping, and walking ahead as his wife snickered and patted him on the back.
"Ti… Let Kiba be, he has not been back to China in 20 years, he wanted to see you since he came down here." Viper stated before she sighed to herself.
"That and this might be our last mission with Po as Dragon Warrior…. I still do not think he should retire but there is something to deal with," Monkey stated before he sighed to himself as he relaxed once more.
They had something else to distract them, he had a lot more to try and relax for now. Kiba sighed, tired and eager to get on with it.
"How about we ask for some information then we get going?" Po asked, gesturing to what was a bar.
"Po…" Tigress muttered as she thought of it.
Kiba sighed and shook his head, his entire mind at war with what he wanted to do and what he could have done. They either entered the bar and got in trouble or stood there.
Screw it, punching criminals in the face was fun enough for him and it was not like it did not help someone. He shrugged off his backpack, pulled up his hood, and slipped his face mask over his face.
"Well, this is going to be a fun day," Kiba muttered as he reached down to his neck. "Oh boy…" Kiba muttered as he moved a black and blue mempo mask over his mouth.
Po opened the door… A bunny slammed through the glass window, making Kiba look down at them before he looked at his friend. Po shrugged as Kiba sighed, tired of his friend's antics.
"Let's make this quick," Po said as a battle axe embedded itself in the wall next to Po which he had easily dodged and put his hat atop it.
Kiba snorted as another was tossed towards him, the wolf returning it to the wall with a swipe of his hand.
"Great…" Kiba muttered, knowing everyone in this place wanted to rob or kill them.
He was tired, very tired. The presence of the five and Kiba who now had the same pair of katanas he had from when he had fought Kai only made it clear a fight was going to break out.
It was also why Kiba was wearing his mask… Better look as intimidating as possible so they DIDN'T have to feed someone their teeth in his opinion.
'Though I think I kind of WANT a fight.' Kiba thought as Tigress joined him by the wall.
"He knows this place wants to kill or rob us or both…. Right?" Kiba asked as Tigress shrugged. "You think we can trust her? She did try to rob the Jade Palace and she acts a LOT like… Ugh." Kiba muttered as he looked at Zhen.
The girl was cheating at a game to get money. He did not know if it was fair to consider robbing criminals karma or if it was just plain wrong.
Then again? Kiba also knew the entire bar was just ITCHING for a fight and all he would be doing was forcing their hand when it came down to it.
"How was dealing with those monkeys or whatever Po said you were busy doing solo?" Kiba asked as Tigress shrugged.
"Easy, they were thieves. How was training in Japan… For 2 years?" Tigress asked, her voice more pained at the end.
"Excruciating and tormenting," Kiba said before noticing her frown. "Don't you ALWAYS consider training more important than life?" Kiba questioned as Tigress sighed.
'Not as important as everyone else… Curse Po for making me soft.' Tigress thought as she looked at Kiba who scanned the bar.
A pair of wolves approached them from behind as Kiba snorted, turned towards them, and unsheathed his claws.
"Back off." Kiba hissed, fangs bared behind his mask and eyes narrowed behind the armor over the top half of his face.
They growled as did Kiba, slowly preparing for a fight…. Which came to a halt as a clacking noise was heard.
Then another, another, and another. Kiba turned to see that Zhen had stashed dozens of tiles for the game in her robes as he thought of what was growing on his mind for the end of the day.
Kiba sighed before he shook his head.
"Really…?" Kiba muttered before the wolf from before lunged at him… Only for Kiba to slam him into the table.
All hell broke loose from that, he watched as more and more of the bar erupted into chaos. Now? Now he had a lot more left to deal with for now, something that would cause more issues.
That and he just did not care anymore. Kiba vaulted the remains of the table, kicked the boar charging him through the wall, and watched as the others charged.
"Seriously? One time?" Po asked as Zhen shrugged.
Kiba flipped a charging wolf to the ground and slammed a fist to their throat, making them hack as he stepped over them.
"Always wolves, why can't it be boars or birds? Must be my species…" Kiba muttered with a sigh. "C'mon, I haven't had a good fight in 2 years!" Kiba hissed before he slammed a roundhouse kick into the boar coming towards him.
Tigress laid out a pair of wolves with 1 punch as Zhen leaped off her shoulder and used a sword impaled into the wall to slam 3 to the floor with 1 kick. She grinned and started taking the money from them as Mantis zipped by, knocking aside swords and zipping through them.
The battle was beginning to turn against the bar as quickly as it was not.
"Free soup for whoever kills them!" The Leader Boar said as Kiba snorted.
"This feels familiar…" Kiba muttered, amusement crossing his face. "Touch her and I'll feed you your teeth!" Kiba hissed as Tigress hummed.
"You do not want this fight," Tigress stated.
"Uh, can we just… Like, leave?" Zhen asked as the boss boar snorted.
"Nobody steals from me and walks away…." The Boar said before the place creaked.
Po who had stepped around the table to their side blinked as the entire building tilted. Kiba snorted as he sighed to himself.
"Who builds a tavern on a cliff?" Kiba muttered before he rested his hands on his swords. "Po? We need to go… C'mon, you guys DON'T want to fight us, we both can see how this is turning out." Kiba said as Crane nodded.
"And it isn't safe," Crane added as the boar snorted.
She and the remaining thugs all charged and then slowly started to think of what was slowly growing through their minds.
He had a lot more to deal with and something would come crashing down at the end of the day as he thought of what was growing for now as he paused to relax.
Kiba was silent and he had been too thrown off now at the end of the day, he had a lot of different ideas.
There was something to be said as he thought of what was growing through his mind.
Kiba was about to strike at them only for Po to spin the staff, flip it over his shoulder, and slam it into the ground. A giant golden dragon burst from the weapon and the dragon slammed into the bar patrons, making them float before blasting them through the wall.
Kiba, the Five, and Zhen ALL slowly turned towards Po who had lost his cape in the fight.
"YOU COULD DO THAT THE ENTIRE TIME!?" The Five and Kiba yelled as Po shrugged.
"Po… I enjoy kicking butt with you… But not cool, bud." Kiba stated as he and the others sighed at each other before he thought of what to do next.
There was something to distract them all for now. Kiba sighed to himself and shook his head, realizing his friend was aware of why the others were upset with him.
It seemed more and more to him that he was going to be dealing with chaos in other ways as it was all coming into place.
"They aren't… Dead, are they?" Mantis asked as Po shook his head.
"Maybe we should go find a boat?" Viper asked as Kiba nodded.
"Yeah… Boat." Kiba muttered before he sighed to himself and he looked to the ground.
There was something to be said about how amusing the silence was, Kiba just did not at all know how to react to it. Po wolfed down a bowl of noodles and turned to the others.
"I got us a boat," Po said as Kiba snorted to himself before he looked to the side.
"Ok," Kiba stated before he sighed to himself, thinking of what was to come.
He had a lot more to try and think of now as he paused to himself, cracking his fingers. Kiba was silent, rubbing at his head as he pulled down the mempo mask from his lips.
"Let's just get to Juniper City," Kiba muttered as the wolf marital artist seemed to crack his fingers.
This was something that amused the wolf as they exited through the back door. The place looked more banged up than before and splintered wood was all around them, it looked as if the entire place had been smashed to pieces.
"Don't you dare come back!" The Leader Boar said as Mantis and Kiba waved at them.
Tigress elbowed her husband, another smirk on her face as she realized Kiba had lightened up a LOT since Japan.
She had to ask him later when it came down to it. When there was a free moment to talk? She would do so… But it was going to be odd when that was happening when it was all said and done.
There were a lot of things to discuss and she guessed that there was plenty left to do when they got to Juniper City. They reached the docks a few moments later, silent and distracted by every single little thing.
It was too much, far beyond the pale… And they were too thrown off at the end of the day. Tigress let out a yawn as Crane dropped Kiba's backpack onto his hands.
"So… We can deal with more and more on the boat… You think we should plan for when we get to the city." Tigress stated before he looked to the side.
There was a lot more to try and think of now when it came down to it as he paused to try and think of it.
There was a lot more to try and think of it all… Something about it all had been too thrown off.
He was silent, too distracted for now. He had a lot more to do now and thought of it.
Tigress looked over at her husband. They had a lot more to try, she looked at him… There was something to deal with.
Something to relax on… Relent on their mind, something about it all had been growing more.
They had a lot more to try and distract it all. Tigress sighed to herself as she looked at her husband and thought of what was to be said.
She knew that he was silent, tired… Too much had gone on for him to just go back to normal… Yet? There was too much now.
And it had been too distracting… Now and good?

Phew. Another chapter is done! A few things.
I am going to make the next chapter MUCH longer. The next chapter will be 900-6500 words.
The next chapter will show the Chameleon, set up a scene I wanted in the film, and more of Tigress and Kiba and Zhen and Po. The Furious Five will be more involved in a few chapters…
The next chapter will be also set in the other half of the story.
The next chapter will be in 2-10 months and will be delayed. The next chapter will show more of both Tigress and Kiba. Until then? Lighting Wolf out!
