Episode 4: A Hunee Problem
-Throne Room, Dragon King's Den, Hillside Mountain-
One day, the Dragon King was tending to his kingly duties of listening to his servants' daily reports before delegating their next tasks.
Dragon King: So, the East Valley's bridge broke… The Humans use that quite often. We should have that fixed as quickly as we can. See to it that it's done.
Rabbittrouser: As you wish, Your Majesty.
Despite being a Monster himself, the Dragon King was often giving orders to aid the Humans. It was unusual in that many of the other Monsters did not think highly of the Humans.
The Monsters, while reluctant, respected their King.
Rabbittrouser: Why should we help those ugly Humans?
The Dragon King and Yuu could hear the Rabbittrouser talking to himself as he left the cave.
Rabbittrouser: But if the King requested it, I suppose I must…
The Monster's found themselves doing rather well despite their misgivings.
Suddenly, a servant named Cybat barged into the Throne Room in a flurry.
Cybat is a gray Bat-like Monster that seems to be only floating a few inches off the floor, and his lower body is like a cloak with no legs underneath. His arms are like big sleeves and they look like Bat wings, and it ends in a black hand with three fingered claws. His chest end in a tuft, and his Cat-like mouth has 2 pointy upper fangs, a large single yellow eye with an orange iris, small floppy ears on the sides of his head, and 2 large pointed bunny ears on the top of his head that had yellow and black stripes inside.
Cybat: Y-Your Majesty, something terrible has happened!
The Dragon King wondered what was happening.
Dragon King: Explain, Cybat.
Cybat explained the situation to the King, his voice becoming higher with each word.
Cybat: Something bad is happening at the Hunee Crystal Woods. The Hunee Bears and the Hunee Bees are constantly arguing with one another, and the tension is rising. A conflict will surely arise if this isn't dealt with posthaste!
The Dragon King was surprised at Cybat's report.
Dragon King: My goodness… They always seemed to be on such good terms with one another…
The Dragon King mulled over the cause of their feud, before turning back to Cybat.
Dragon King: They must have a reason for this. We must look into this matter. I have someone special in mind to assist you, if you wouldn't mind.
The Dragon King then turned his head to Yuu, which she then noticed.
Yuu: Huh, do you mean me?
Yuu was surprised at the thought…
Cybat then approached Yuu with wonder in his eye.
Cybat: Yes, of course. I've heard great things of Miss Yuu's adventures!
The compliment made Yuu perk up, and now she wants to go. She turned to the Dragon King with Puppy-Dog eyes. The Dragon King pondered his decision before finally giving in.
Dragon King: All right then.
Cybat: I shall keep an eye on her. Being the most knowledgeable of the matter, it would be a good idea for me to take the lead.
The Dragon King was grateful for Cybat's offering.
Dragon King: Thanks for that, Cybat.
With that, both Yuu and Cybat left the Throne Room.
Yuu: By, Dad! I'll try to come back soon!
As Yuu waved to the Dragon King, neither did noticed the devilish grin on Cybat's face.
The Dragon King however, felt something odd about this Hunee Bears and Bees squabble.
Dragon King: Hmm… Something feels off…
A troubled expression washed over the Dragon King's face as he saw the two off.
-Crystal Cave-
Together with Cybat, they traveled in a cave that was south of the Monster Village… and they were currently running.
Cybat: We're almost there, Miss Yuu!
Yuu was running behind Cybat as she looked behind at the ones that were chasing them. Strong Mowse. A stronger version of the Mowse Tribe with black fur. They accidentally entered their territory.
Cybat: I see the exit up ahead!
Yuu saw the light of the cave's exit and they all quickly ran towards the light.
-Hunee Crystal Woods-
Yuu and Cybat exited the cave and buckled up as they exhaled back for air.
Yuu: Pant, pant… They wouldn't… pant… follow us… right?
Cybat: Pant… the Mowse Tribe… are nocturnal… They don't do well in the light because of their weak eyesight.
Once they started breathing normally again, Yuu stood back straight and became awed at what she was seeing now.
The forest was smothered in a nectar so sweet, it would pucker the lips of anyone who tasted it. The sweet smell of the strange flowers made all the Monsters here jovial and full of mirth.
There were Hunee Toads with an orange flower and a few buds on top of their backs, and they're bodies are covered in Hunee. Some are licking the Hunee of another.
Buzzing around were Hunee Pots of the Pot Tribe, which have the wings, antenna, and legs of a Bee, but the body of a black pot filled with Hunee.
And then there are the Flower Heads of the Head Tribe. They have a bouquet of orange flowers for a head, leafs arms, and long cream and orange petals for a long skirt. These groups were happily dancing around.
This eccentric place is the Hunee Crystal Woods.
Yuu: Wow! This place is incredible!
Cybat: This place is completely filled with sweet Hunee. But the one's made by the Hunee Bees are even sweeter, and the Hunee Bears love it the most. Come on. The path to the Hunee Bears is this way.
Yuu and Cybat began to traverse the eccentric Hunee filled Forest.
Yuu: Whoa, you're really good at juggling, Cybat.
Yuu and Cybat chatted idly as they strolled through the woods.
Cybat: Yes, or course. My knife-wielding skills are the best of the best. I even had them engraved with my face as a trademark of my skill. I often perform for the Dragon King and his court. It brings me great joy that so many influential Monsters find my performances so enjoyable.
With a swish, Cybat mimes throwing a knife.
Yuu: Your knives have your face on them!? Awesome! I should put my face on my sword too…
Yuu stared at her Wooden Sword.
Yuu: But wait… I've only seen you throw rocks. I've never seen you throw any knives.
Cybat: Ah, you see, I lost them a while ago, and I'd like to search for them, but…
Cybat's eye darts nervously about as he frantically attempts to change the subject.
Cybat: A-Anyway, Miss Yuu, the Hunee Bear Tribe's village is nearby! Why don't we head over and see what all the commotion is about?
Yuu: Oh, right! Let's go!
At Cybat's suggestion, Yuu decided to make way to the village of the Hunee Bears.
As they headed towards the Hunee Bear Village, Yuu noticed something up ahead.
Yuu: Huh? What's going on over there?
Once Yuu and Cybat reached it, they saw it was a group of 3 Flower Heads, and by their body movements they seemed to be in distress.
Yuu: What 's wrong?
The Flower Heads noticed them before moving back, showing Yuu and Cybat a large rock blocking the path.
Cybat: I see. That rock is blocking the path up ahead. The Flower Heads must usually walk this path, but now it's blocked. If we can't cross it we have to look for another way to reach the Hunee Bear Village.
Cybat knew that this was a problem. None of them are strong enough to break that rock, so they have to find another path instead. But then, Yuu stepped in as she stood in front of the rock.
Cybat: Huh? Miss Yuu, what are you doing?
Cybat looked confused as he saw Yuu ready her sword.
Yuu: I'm going to break this rock!
Cybat: … Eh?
Cybat doesn't know "how" will Yuu break that rock. Yuu jumped and hit the rock with such a force that it completely shattered the rock to pieces.
There was silence until the Flower Heads started cheering at Yuu for destroying the rock while Cybat was in shock.
Cybat: (Is this how she defeated the DragonFly!? I didn't know that she was this strong! And she's only using a Wooden Sword!)
Yuu then noticed something underneath the rubble and picked it up. It was a sword made of stone and the blade rectangle that's sharp on the edges.
Cybat: (That's a Stone Sword!)
Cybat couldn't believe that now Yuu has an even stronger weapon. Suddenly, one of the Flower Heads grabbed Cybat's hands.
Cybat: Whoa!
They grabbed Yuu's hands as well and within moments the Flower Heads are dancing in celebration with a partner. Yuu was having fun dancing while Cybat was getting dizzy as he was being twirled around.
-Hunee Bear Village, Hunee Crystal Woods-
Yuu and Cybat have arrived at the village of the Hunee Bears.
They are large bipedal Monsters with an orange body and 2 black stripes going around their waists. What's curious is that their feet are covered in Hunee. So are their arms, with their 3 clawed black fingers showing. Even their faces are covered in Hunee, and you can only see their eyes and ears.
Yuu and Cybat began speaking to one of the Hunee Bears and told him the reason why they are here.
Hunee Bear: You have business with the Chief? Okay~ I'll call him~
The Hunee Bear left as Yuu and Cybat waited, but then their ear drums were hit by a loud voice.
The Hunee Bear Chief strutted out, barking.
Hunee Bear Chief: The Hunee Bee Tribe!? I will hear nothing of such miscreants!
He was furious. It seems doubtful he would be willing to listen to Yuu and Cybat. Regardless, Cybat, in a cautious attempt to calm down the irate Hunee Bear Chief, urges the Chief to explain what happened.
Hunee Bear Chief: Where to start? We and the Hunee Bee Tribe have always co-existed in peace, until now. They collect the nectar from the forest to produce Hunee, but the Monsters desire it– crave it.
Cybat: So they attack them for it?
The Chief nodded.
Hunee Bear Chief: Indeed. Because of it, we offered to safeguard the Hunee Bee Tribe. And in turn, they promised to share with us the Hunee they produced.
Yuu nodded along agreeingly.
Yuu: But something happened between your Tribes?
The Chief began to explain the cause for their conflict…
In the Hunee Bee Village, there was a Hunee Storehouse that the Hunee Bees oversaw. Recently, the Storehouse was found ransacked. For some reason, the Hunee Bee Tribe blamed the Hunee Bear Tribe, then severed all ties with them, including their Hunee arrangement.
But the Hunee Bear Tribe was not guilty. The Hunee Bears were livid, having been falsely accused. In retaliation, they refused to provide their protection any longer. That was the Hunee Bear Chief's explanation for their dispute.
Yuu: I see…
Yuu murmured with her arms folded, deep in thought.
Yuu: Hunee is just as important to the Hunee Bees as it is to you. It's no wonder they were upset over their Storehouse being destroyed.
Cybat, arms folded, nodded along.
Yuu: Hmm, but… I wonder why they thought the Hunee Bear Tribe was to blame?
Cybat: Er, well…
Cybat flinched as his shoulders trembled.
Yuu: There must be a big misunderstanding if the Hunee Bears say they didn't do anything.
Cybat: Y-Yes. Of course…
Cybat tried to play off his response. Yuu then got an idea.
Yuu: I know! Let's go see what the Hunee Bees have to say! We might learn something useful!
Cybat: Y-Yes! That's a wonderful idea! W-We should definitely visit them!
Yuu then noticed Cybat's odd behavior.
Yuu: Huh? You're acting kinda funny, Cybat.
Cybat: Oh, it's nothing.
Yuu: Okay…
Yuu decided to shrug it off.
Hunee Bear Chief: If the two of you are heading to the Hunee Bee Village, bring this with you.
The Chief hands Yuu a box emanating a deliciously sweet aroma.
Yuu: It smells sooo good! What's inside?
Hunee Bear Chief: They are scents made from Hunee. Its soothing effect can calm one's mind. It will be of use on any angry Hunee Bees you may encounter.
Yuu accepted the box from the Chief and stored it in her magic sack, then she and Cybat started their way to the Hunee Bee Village.
As Yuu and Cybat were heading towards the Hunee Bee Village to see why they think the Hunee Bears are responsible for ransacking their Storagehouse, Yuu saw something up ahead.
Yuu: Huh? What's that?
Flying towards them was a Hunee Pot, but there was something wrong with it as it seemed to have difficulty flying in the air. Its wings suddenly stopped beating and the Hunee Pot fell to the ground, until it was caught by Yuu in time.
Yuu: Hey! Are you okay!?
Cybat: Miss Yuu, look! There's a crack on its side!
True as on the Hunee Pot's side there's a crack where Hunee was leaking.
Yuu: How awful… Who did this too it?
?: Hey! That pot back is ours!
Coming towards were 2 Antgobblers that looked like Nick, but have light brown fur, while their hands, feet, tail, and underbelly are brown, along with their snout. They are wearing a yellow scarf and are carrying a staff that has a yellow and black striped ball resembling a Bee with some Hunee on top of it.
Antgobbler 1: We spent all day trying to catch a Hunee Pot, but this one is pretty stubborn!
Antgobbler 2: So hand it to us, or else!
Cybat frowned as he recognized who these Monsters were.
Yuu: Why do you want this Hunee Pot so badly that you have to hurt it?
Cybat: They're Barbaric Antgobblers, Miss Yuu. They catch bugs using Hunee. The sweeter the Hunee, the better bugs they'll catch. So they steal the sweetest Hunee they can find, like this Hunee Pot.
Hearing that, Yuu put the harmed Hunee Pot behind her and drew out her new Stone Sword.
Yuu: You have to get through me if you want this Hunee Pot!
Knowing that they were going to fight, Cybat pulled out three rocks from beneath his cloak.
Cybat: If Miss Yuu is going to fight, then I should too!
The two Barbaric Antgoblers laughed at this as if it was a joke.
Antgobbler 1: Really!? A Human and a Monster Clown wants to fight us!?
This made Yuu upset as well as Cybat.
Antgobbler 2: What are you gonna do? Put a show for us!?
The 2 Antgobbler's then started laughing, only for all of them to be hit in the face by a rock from Cybat.
Antgobbler 1: OW! Hey!
Cybat then raspberry them and mocked them, enraging the 2 Barbaric Antgobblers.
Antgobbler 2: You'll pay for that!
The two Antgobblers started attacking Cybat while forgetting about Yuu. They attacked him with their Hunee coated maces, but Cybat was able to dodge them easily.
Cybat: Aren't you guys forgetting something?
That made the two Antgobblers confused, until Yuu passed both of them with a Gale Slash!
Yuu: Haa!
Yuu slashed them with her new Stone Sword, dealing more damage to them than her Wooden Sword. The Antgobblers fell on their knees and that's when Cybat came to finish this.
Cybat: You all need a little breeze!
Cybat then unleashed a Tailwind with his winged arms, generating a strong wind that sent the Antgobblers flying.
Antgobbler 1: We'll get you for this!
With that the Antgobblers got up and ran away. Yuu then looked to Cybat in surprise.
Yuu: You can do that with your wings?
Cybat: Only for a few moments. My arms will get tired.
Yuu and Cybat then started tending to the Hunee Pot. They wrap the crack with a band until they're done.
Yuu: There! All done!
The Hunee Put hovered off the ground and fluttered around Yuu and Cybat.
Cybat: Looks like it's happy.
The Hunee Pot then nudged Yuu's and Cybat's hands.
Yuu: Huh? What is it doing?
Cybat: I think I know. Hold up your hands, Miss Yuu.
Yuu did that and so did Cybat. Then, the Hunee Pot bowed and poured the Hunee from its contents on both Yuu's and Cybat's hands. Yuu looked at the Hunee delicacy as Cybat nudged for her to drink it. They both drinked the Hunee from the palms at the same time, and Yuu couldn't believe how sweet it is.
Yuu: Wow! It 's so sweet! I also feel that I can do anything now!
Cybat: The Hunee these Pots are carrying can also re-energize! If you're friends with a Hunee Pot, they'll be sure to give you some when you're in trouble!
Yuu nodded at Cybat.
Yuu: Yeah! But even if it doesn't have that…
Yuu and Cybat: It's so sweet!
Both Yuu and Cybat said it at the same time while enjoying the sweet taste as the Hunee Pot fluttered around them again.
-Hunee Bee Village, Hunee Crystal Wood-
Yuu and Cybat have arrived at the Village of the Hunee Bees. There were yellow flower pollens where the Hunee Bees used to make their Hunee, and their nests are nearly everywhere and with Hunee dripping from the entrance of their homes.
Ths Hunee Bee's are black large Bee's with the lower torso shaped like a cone and had a yellow stripe around their waist. They have 2 small antennas on their heads and 4 wings. They also have four string-like legs.
They approached one of the Hunee Bees who noticed them.
Hunee Bee: Who are you two?
Cybat: We're here to speak with your Chief. Is he around?
Hunee Bee: Are you looking for the Chief? Heeey, Chief~.
The Hunee Bee called towards the nest that has the biggest hole in it, which means the Hunee Bee Chief is quite large than the others.
The Hunee Bee Tribe Chief buzzed from his nest. All appeared to be in a sour mood.
Yuu: Um… Can you tell us what happened between you and the Hunee Bear Tribe?
Yuu inquired nervously. And in response…
Hunee Bee Chief: The Hunee Bear Tribe you say!?
The Chief's wings trembled, hovering in a rage.
Yuu: Wait! Wait, wait! Just hear us out!
Yuu frantically implored him to calm down, to no avail.
Yuu didn't know what to do. She looked to Cybat for help, who pointed to Yuu's pocket.
Yuu: Hm…? Oh, right, the scent box!
Rustling through her pocket, Yuu dug out the scent box. The sweet aroma permeated the tense air. Even Yuu began feeling warm and fuzzy.
The scent box seemed to do the trick, the chief profusely apologizing for his temper.
Once again, Yuu asked the Chief about why his Tribe thought the Hunee Bear Tribe was responsible for the ransacking of the Storehouse.
The Chieftain withdrew into a nesting hole, only to reappear after a short while, holding something in his hand.
Yuu: What's that? Is it… fur?
Cybat: It must be from a Hunee Bear.
The Chief nodded in agreement.
Yuu: Whaaaat!? Then that means…
The Chief said he'd found the fur from within the wreckage of the Storehouse.
Cybat: Oh, my. Their fur was found at the scene of the crime!? Talk about hard evidence! I knew it, Miss Yuu. The Hunee Bear Tribe IS responsible!
Cybat insisted to Yuu with a forceful fervor.
After thinking, Yuu decided to ask the Chief if she could investigate the scene of the crime anyway. The Chief was impressed with Yuu's determination, so he disclosed to her where the Hunee was stolen.
However, the Chieftain vowed that he would launch an attack on the Hunee Bear Village if the two could not ascertain the culprit.
Yuu: Um… O-Okay. We definitely need to find the real culprit so that doesn't happen!
Yuu shouted excitedly as she left the nest behind.
Meanwhile, Cybat had a very worried look on his face as he talked in whispers to himself.
Cybat: Oh, this is bad. This is really, really bad… If she checks the Storehouse, she'll surely figure out what I've done…
He then followed Yuu with a determined look in his eye.
Cybag: Gotta get there before her and find what I dropped…
-Hunee Storehouse, Hunee Crystal Woods-
Yuu and Cybat have arrived at the Storehouse, where the Hunee Bees story all the Hunee they made here.
Yuu: So, this is where they keep all that Hunee. There's so much of it!
Yuu peered around at the debris when Cybat interjected.
Cybat: Hey, Miss Yuu, why don't we split up and search? I'll be over here!
In a fluster, Cybat swooshed over to look through the rubble.
Yuu: Huh? Okay, got it! Just tell me if you find something! Oh, he's gone already…
Left to her own devices, Yuu began her search.
The Dragon King had secretly followed Yuu, but he was unable to get closer due to the narrow entrance into the Storehouse. He became restless not knowing how she was fairing.
Dragon King: I only hope nothing terrible happens inside… Cybat was behaving rather oddly…
The Dragon King was left to worry, waiting nervously outside the Storehouse.
Yuu came upon the Storehouse wreckage.
Yuu: Aw, it's so messy in here.
Parts of the Storehouse, which had branched off like a tree, were snapped in twain, the nectar spilling onto the ground below. The branches were sturdy. Whatever broke them must be strong.
Yuu: Hrmm… Hmm…
There wasn't much left to go on, and Yuu was running out of ideas.
Yuu: The Hunee Bears could easily destroy all this… But if I had a sharp weapon, I could too…
Cybat: Ah, this is where you were, Miss Yuu!
Cybat had returned, after going off on his own.
Yuu: Oh, hey, Cybat. Did you find anything?
Cybat: Nooope, not a thing! Spick and span!
Yuu: Aww… Okay…
Disheartened, Yuu's shoulders dropped.
Cybat: Oh my, oh my… Don't look so down, Miss Yuu. It's not your fault. Too bad we won't be able to stop the Hunee Bees from attacking the Hunee Bears though…
Cybat placed his hand on the dejected Yuu's head.
Cybat: It's dangerous, but since it comes to this, we'll just have to stop them ourselves.
Yuu: Yeah… That's all we can do now…
In that moment, something sparkled before Yuu.
Yuu: Hmm…? What's that?
A white fragment was buried beneath the hardened Hunee. Yuu cracked open the Hunee, revealing the object…
Yuu: Is this… a knife?
Underneath the Hunee was a knife with a chipped edge. On it, a familiar face was engraved…
Cybat: Kieee!
Out of the blue, Cybat let out a wretched scream.
Cybat: M-M-Miss Yuu! That knife!
The face was the spitting image of Cybat.
Cybat: I-It-It can't be… Of all the places!
Yuu: This looks like… Cybat? It's you, isn't it? You said you lost this, so what is it doing here?
Cybay: …
Cybat had nothing to say as Yuu pressed him.
Cybat: You…
Cybat suddenly started ranting out in anger.
Cybat: Shut up, shut up, shut up!
Yuu stepped back at his outburst as she now realized Cybat is the one responsible for the dispute between the two Tribes. He used his knives to cut down the stone branches and wreck the Storehouse… But what Yuu didn't understand is… Why did Cybat do it?
Cybat: Darn it all! I was going to dispose of you amid the confusion of the Tribes fight!
Cybat quickly snatched his knife from Yuu.
Cybat: I've got no choice… I'll just have to take care of this right here and now, Miss Yuu!
Cybat rushed towards Yuu, who was still shocked over his betrayal.
Yuu snapped out of her shocked stupor in time as Cybat threw his Rusted Knives at her. Yuu jumped away in time as the knives embedded on the wall. Cybat pulled them back while Yuu took out her Stone Sword and stood in a battle stance.
Cybat threw his Rusted Knives again as Yuu blocked them with her Stone Sword. She tried to reach out to Cybat.
Yuu: Cybat! Why are you doing this!?
Cybet's expression changed to guilt for a second before shaking it off.
Cybat: Sorry, Miss Yuu… but this is something I must do!
Cybat then suddenly used his Tailwind, sending a gust of wind that pushes Yuu back.
Yuu: Ugh!
Yuu's back hit one of the stone branches. Cybat then threw his knives and cut down three of the branches. They all fell on Yuu as the girl looked up.
Yuu: AAAAH!
There was a cloud of smoke until it cleared to show a rubble with lots of Hunee pouring out of their contents.
Cybat: I did it… I actually did it…
Cybat succeeded in eliminating Yuu… However, he doesn't seem to be happy that he fulfilled his mission.
Cybat: But… Why do I feel so sad…?
Cybat didn't understand the emotion he was feelling, until he noticed the rubble starting to shake.
Cybat: Huh?
Rising from the rubble were 3 Flower Heads, and one of them had an injured Yuu in their arms.
Cybat: The Flower Heads!?
Cybat didn't expect to see the Flower Heads that Yuu helped. He then noticed a bandaged Hunee Pot hovering over them and Cybat recognized it as another Monster that Yuu saved.
The Flower Head positioned Yuu's head, and that's when the Hunee Pot tilted and gave Yuu its Hunee as it fell in her open mouth. Yuu gulped down the Hunee and everyone waited for a moment… until Yuu opened her eyes and jumped out of the Flower Head arms.
Yuu landed and faced Cybat. She had her Stone Sword up again and she got healed thanks to the Hunee, as well as getting a boost.
Cybat: Uh oh…
Cybat now knew that he was in trouble…
Yuu: Haa!
Yuu charged at Cybat, who retaliated by throwing his Rusted Knives at her. But Yuu deflected them all with her Stone Sword, leaving Cybat with nothing to defend with. Yuu delivered a few sword slashes which Cybat managed to dodge, before retaliating with a Tailwind, only to see that Yuu was not there.
Cybat: Huh? Where did she go?
Yuu: AAAH!
Cybat got his answer as he looked up, and saw that Yuu jumped into the air and delivered a Jump Slash.
In a quick sequence, Cybat was hit by the sword in different directions, before being thrown to the wall upside down and falling on his head.
Cybat: Gyaaaahhh!
Cybat fell to the ground after Yuu's attacks struck him.
Cybat: E-Eeek! I-Im sorry, please forgive meee!
Yuu: Why did you do this, Cybat?
As he cried out, Cybat tried to explain himself.
Cybat: A long time ago, the Dragon King was extremely powerful, but the more he looked after Miss Yuu, the softer his heart had become. I admired the King of old, and I wished for him to return to his old mighty self. To do that, I planned to get rid of you, Miss Yuu.
Tears were coming out of Cybat's eye as he continued pleading.
Cybat: But I lost! I'll never try to kill you again! I beg of you, please forgive meeee!
Cybat's pleas were becoming more and more desperate. Yuu looked at the Hunee Pot and Flower Heads before smiling and stashing her Stone Sword away.
Yuu: All right then. I forgive you, Cybat.
Cybat: Huh…? Do you mean that…?
Cybat was flabbergasted by her response as he got up.

Cybat: P-Princess Yuu…
Cybat's tears stained his face as he hugged Yuu, who happily accepted it.
Cybat: I will always be at your siiide!
The Flower Head and Hunee Pot also followed as they joined in the hug.
-Hunee Crystal Woods-
After making amends, the two went to see the two Hunee Tribes, but were scolded by the Chiefs for what Cybat had done. The intrepid Investigator Yuu and her culpable companion apologized, and the Chiefs readily forgave them.
And so, Yuu was successful in safely resolving the conflict of Hunee Crystal Woods. The Dragon King awaited her nearby, and the two returned to their Den on the mountain.
-Nest, Dragon King's Den, Hillside Mountain-
After another day has passed and the Sun sets while the Moon rises, Yuu once again tells the Dragon King about her adventures.
Dragon King: You did splendid, Yuu.
Yuu proudly spoke of her achievements, but neglected to say who the mastermind was, nor did the Dragon King push her for an answer.
Dragon King: Now then, Yuu, shall I tell you a tale about your Papa the hero and myself?
Yuu: Yes! I wanna hear, I wanna hear! Today is the day you tell me the last story, isn't it!?
Dragon King: That it is. Today is when I finally tell you of how the hero finally bested the Demon King.
The Dragon King began his story as thus…

Dragon King: After a long and hard-fought battle, the Hero had cornered the Demon King. Both were wounded, but the Hero mustered his strength for a final strike against his desperate rival. The Hero's sword shone a bright pink in his hands. It had helped him through many tribulations, and was now steeled to strike down the Demon King and his many sins once and for all.
Hero: Demon King, your tyranny has come to an end. You will raze villages and end lives no longer.
The Demon King only scoffed as he glared at the Hero.
Demon King: Fool, you forget who I am. I take no order from the likes of man. They were but pests on my path.
The Hero frowned at the Demon King words.
Hero: Pests… Is that so?
The Hero gripped his sword as he looked down at the defeated Demon King.
Hero: Then I say to you, Demon King…
The Hero brought his sword up high, ready to deal the finishing blow.
Hero: You will atone for your sins!
The Hero shouted, swinging his sword down…

Dragon King: And the world was saved, the Demon King's life ended.
But Yuu was already fast asleep.
Dragon King: Hm, she always tries to stay awake no matter how tired she gets… Today's adventure must have exhausted her.
The Dragon King looked up at the night sky and began speaking to the stars above.
Dragon King: Hero… Yuu didn't reveal Cybat's crime. Instead, she forgave him and befriended him.
The Dragon King smiled at that as it reminded him of a past event in his life.
Dragon King: She truly is just like you, Hero…
With those words floating to the heavens, the Dragon King lowered his head and fell asleep with Yuu in his arms.
-Short Story-
In the Throne Room of the Dragon King, Cybat was entertaining the Dragon King and Yuu by performing a juggling show with his knives.
Yuu applauded Cybat's performance. But then a thought came to Yuu's mind as she approached Cybat and checked under his mantle, catching Cybat's attention.
Cybat: Miss Yuu? What are you doing?
Yuu: Oh. I was wondering how are you able to hide your knives underneath your mantle?
Cybat chuckled as he started explaining to Yuu about the magic of his mantle.
Cybat: My mantle works the same as your magic sack, Miss Yuu. I carry many things underneath my mantle, and if I want something, I can simply just reach it by thinking of the object.
Yuu became fascinated by this.
Yuu: So, if I ask for… an apple, will pull out one?
Cybat: Of course, Miss Yuu. Now, let's see…
Cybat began searching for an apple under his mantle, until he grabbed hold of something and pulled it out
Cybat: Tada!... eh?
What he got was a flower instead of an apple. Yuu's eyes blinked in confusion.
Cybat: Hehe… wrong one
He threw the flower away and started searching again. What he pulled next was a vase.
Cybat: A vase? I can't recall why I have one.
He threw the vase away and started searching again, only to find the wrong stuff again as he threw them away.
Cybat: Come one… where is it?!
He threw a knife, a hammer, tomato, rock, wallet, cheese, branch, carrot, mushroom, sword, barrel.
Finally, after a while, Cybat pulled an apple.
Cybat: Whew! It took a while, but I managed to find one.
Yuu: Um… Cybat…
Yuu pointed out behind Cybat and he saw that he made a mess with all the stuff he threw out of his mantle, making a mountain pile in the Throne Room that made the Dragon King despleased as Cybat sweatdropped at the mess he made.
Cybat: Oh…
