Chapter 2

Aria's POV

This house is beautiful I say as I walk through the front door, there's one floor and a loft, which is where me and Haley will be sleeping. The house itself is not that big, it just and I don't know how to describe it but it just feels and looks right.

30 minutes later

Me and Haley are dressed in summer Dresses with our swimming suits underneath , and are currently walking to Ricky's Cafe which opened about about a year and a half ago, it is a popular area for locals and tourists alike.

"Do you have your phone" I ask Haley "of course why" she asks "I forgot mine and wanted to make sure that one of us had a phone" I replied

Hey are you two new here" asked an older girl running up to us, she had pale skin that was obviously tanned from the sun and she wore her curly blond hair up in a messy bun. "Hey you're Ricky" Haley asked unsure "yes, you look distantly familiar do I know you?" The girl Ricky asks turning her attention to Haley briefly before quickly turning back to me. Haley says something but I don't hear her Ricky is starting at me with a weird look on her face.

Ricky's POV

I stare at the unfamiliar girl in front of me because there is something of I don't know how I know but I feel that there is something supernatural about her, but not the mermaid kind, something unfamiliar.

I am broken out of my stare down with the girl when I here someone call my name, that's when I remember that me Cleo and Bella were supposed to be meeting up at Mako in 30 minutes.

Haley's POV

"Um we better get going" I say loudly so that I can snap Aria out of whatever trance she is in. "Wait I didn't catch your names" Rick says as the two of us turn to leave "I'm Aria" Aria Uley says calmly "I'm Haley Clearwater" I quickly say before Aria can introduce me herself "well nice to meet you I got a run though so see you around" Ricky says quickly before running of in the opposite direction of the cafe. I watch her disappear into the tropical forest before saying to Aria " that was odd"

30 minutes later

Aria's POV

"Are you ready" I ask Haley as I prepare to get in the boat " of course, you" she asks sounding excited, I just smile at her and nod my head and with that we get in the boat and Haley starts steering us towards mako island, and all I can do is watch as the full moon starts to rise.
