Author's Notes

salo3990: I have a few ideas.

Maximum Rhapsody: It was a good fic. I have some ideas of power ups and the like, for both Fairies and Heroes. I'll explain my plans for storylines in the footnotes. I have no plans for Rave Master and Edens Zero for this fic. Ships is something that will have to be read.

endermite: Don't worry Thor still has his divine roots. Tony was just being Tony.

Artemuis: Glad you like it.

Cruz7808: I watched the 2007 movie a year ago. It's semi canon but I am thinking of the MCU version when I write him. It's the version I'm most familiar with. Think of a composite which goes for all characters.

Guest: Well here you go.

Greer123: Glad you think so.

Makarov crashes onto the cold hard surface with a big thud. He moans in pain and massages his head in an attempt to nurse it. He opened his eyes to take in his surroundings and found it odd.

"What in the world?" the short guild master whispers to himself.

He sees that he's underground, with stone pillars and torches illuminating the dark space. He glints amidst the darkness and registers empty cells within the walls opposite him.

"It looks to be a dungeon of some sorts," he thinks to himself and makes an attempt to leave what looked to be his cage.

He didn't make it far as an orange barrier prevented him from crossing the threshold…and not just him.

"What the hell is going on?!" Cana squawked.

"Why can't we leave?!" Bickslow shouts.

"Where are we?!" Levy exclaimed.

Though he could not see them, hearing the voices of his children in such disarray brought Makarov to action.

"Attention now, all of you!" Makarov orders and waits until he hears silence, "Is everyone accounted for?"

He gets answered by an array of voices he recognises that's as good an indication for him.

Erza is quick to ask, "Master, do you think the Avengers did this?"

He is also quick to respond, "No. I don't believe they were but this may be connected to how Tenrou was transported to this new world?"

Makarov's attention is brought to a loud reverberating crash, which he assumes is Natsu trying to break out. If the Dragon Slayer's roars of frustration are any indication.

"WHOEVER TRAPPED US HERE, SHOW YOURSELF SO I CAN PUNCH YA!" Natsu barks, continuing to unleash a barrage of attacks to free himself. Which proves fruitless, the barrier still holding strong without any signs of breaking.

Lucy attempts to calm the Salamander down, "Natsu stop! I doubt it will be that easy to break out. Save your energy!"

"That would be wise."

The new voice threw everyone off and the Fairies turned their heads to see who it belonged to. It belonged to a man who was making his way towards them and they took in his appearance.

He was an older gentleman with a goatee, around Gildarts' age. Possibly older if the white streaks contrasting his black hair were any indication. His attire consisted of a deep blue tunic, a brown leather sash and black leggings. A flowing high collared red cape completed the ensemble.

There was also something else the Fairies took in. It was hard to explain but they could sense some familiarity. If they didn't know that this new land had no Magic, they could have sworn he was a wizard of some sorts. His clothing alone could support that. But that wasn't possible as this land has no Magic?

At least they thought?

The man continues to saunter over, inspecting the Fairies in their cages. Uncaring of all the glares he was receiving until he stopped at Makarov. It was a face off between the two, with neither of them willing to back down.

The cloaked man spoke first, "I suppose you're the king of this breeze of fairies? Aren't you, Mr Dreyar?"

Makarov tried to not show his shock at how this man knew his name. He regains his composure and responds, "I am. Now who might you be?"

"I am Dr. Stephen Strange. Master of the Mystic Arts," the man now known as Dr. Strange introduces himself. His name and title confuses everyone.

"His name is Strange?" Carla questions.

Happy was quick to state, "I don't think it's that strange."

Both Makarov and Dr. Strange ignored the white furred Exceed groaning and continued their staredown.

"Mystic Arts? I take it you follow Magic?" Makarov asks, raising his eyebrow at the title.

Dr. Strange immediately confirms, "I do. But not the Magic that your guild seems to possess. Very interesting stuff."

"Glad to be a source of study for you but if it's all the same, I demand to know why we are here?!" Makarov barks, which doesn't intimidate Strange at all.

"Fair enough," Strange simply says and he continues to talk, "Hello to you all, I apologise for the impromptu… kidnapping. Pardon my manners but let me explain my role here."

Strange looks around and still sees various glares, confused looks and a pissed off face from Natsu.

Undeterred he explains, "I am the Sorcerer Supreme. The job entails I protect this reality from magical and inter-dimensional threats, which unfortunately for you guys. You count as both."

The title Sorcerer Supreme was an odd sounding to the Mages. Was the title similar to a Wizard Saint? Did that mean he was a powerful Mage?

"But we're not threats! We don't want to harm anyone," Mirajane pleads.

"Not directly. But maybe you brought over a foreign disease, deadly to people of this reality? Your island's wildlife is peculiar, maybe they'll cause trouble. Or maybe you're not the only ones from your reality to be relocated? Maybe something or someone else travelled with you without any of you knowing?" Strange explained which silenced the Fairies.

Some of them took in consideration that they could be carriers of diseases that could have already started to spread. Others were thinking which of Tenrou's wildlife could cause trouble for New York. The rest were thinking who else could've transported with them?

Doranbolt and the Magic Council?

Master Hades and the rest of Grimoire Heart?

Or worse….the jet black dragon who was seemingly responsible for this whole mess. They all shudder to think that beast came with them.

"Fortunately, it looks like your guild are the only ones to cross into our reality. For now."

A new voice speaks, allowing the Fairies to release the breath they were holding.

Everyone sees it came from a stout Asian man, thinning black hair and seemed to be around Gildarts' age. He wore red and orange robes that seemed to indicate he was from a monastery. Similar to Dr Strange's robes.

Strange turns to the new arrival and asks, "So I take it you're all done?"

"Yes, I stayed behind and tried to search for the rift," the stout man answers, "Whatever or whoever caused it is long gone with no way to trace back to its origin."

"Troublesome. You don't think this could be linked to any of our own…acquaintances?" Strange grimly asks but the stout man shakes his head.

"If it were any of them, we would know about it, Stephen," the stout man replies.

The Fairies could only guess who these acquaintances were but for those who knew how to sense tones. They couldn't be anyone good.

A loud clap caught their attention and they saw Strange with his hands together.

"Alright, me and Mr Dreyar are going to go for a little chat. Don't worry I leave you in the arms of my esteemed colleague, Wong. Have fun."

Before anyone could respond, Strange waved his hand and both he and Makarov were gone in a sparkly ring of gold.

With their guild master gone, the entire dungeon went into an uproar. Demanding that their Master be released, to the stout man now known as Wong.

"Where have you taken our Master?!" Erza demands with righteous indignation.

"In due time Ms Scarlet," Wong answers, ignoring all the dirty looks his way, "Your Master is just getting a crash course in the workings of the universe. Best to be experienced with no audience."

That got the Fairies confused. What did the stout sorcerer mean by 'workings of the universe'?

"Now if I may ask you something?" Wong queries, getting the Fairies attention. Their new warden raises his hand and points his finger to a certain Fairy Tail member.

"Why is he naked?"

Even those who couldn't see him, knew it was Gray. The Ice Make Wizard once again naked from head to toe.

Gray comically screams, "CRAP!"

Once again Makarov falls into a strange room. Although this one was more pleasant, with proper lighting and the chair he fell onto was more comfortable than his cell.

"Tea?"

Makarov turns to see Strange sitting opposite him, a tea set placed in a table between them. The Guild Master of Fairy Tail rubs his eyes in frustration.

"After the day I had, I need something stronger," Makarov says in a tired tone. He takes another glance at the tea and is surprised to see in its place, a mug of beer.

"Just what the doctor ordered," Strange curtly remarks which Makarov pays no mind as he grabs the mug and gushes it down his throat.

Makarov finishes his drink and burps, "That hit the stuff." He was about to place the empty mug down but finds it filled with alcohol like he never drank it. Needless to say, he was over the moon, "I thought this sort of sorcery was told as drunken bar tales but it exists! It exists!"

"If you're ecstatic over a common party trick, then you should prepare yourself now over what we're about to discuss," Strange advises.

Makarov finishes his beer for the second time, "What could be more mind breaking than a mug that refills itself?"

Strange smirks and gets to his feet, making Makarov uneasy, the short man preparing to attack.

Before he knew it, the goateed man struck the Master of Fairy Tail hard in the chest. Makarov would attack back but found himself unable too, oddly feeling weightless? He opens his eyes and for the umpteenth time today is flabbergasted at what he saw.

His own body laid on the floor, unmoving but still breathing.

The Wizard Saint struggled to speak the words, "Am I… dead?"

"Not quite."

Makarov turns to face Dr Strange who is floating above him. The short Guild Master's face contorts to rage and he attempts to take a swing at Strange, who simply dodges.

"You bastard! What did you do to me?!"

"I pushed your Astral Form out from your mortal coil."

Makarov halts his assault and takes in what he heard, "Astral? Form?"

"Yes. Are you familiar with the concept?"

"Only in stories. To think we're experiencing something Mages from my world could only dream of," Makarov ponders. Amazed at what he was experiencing.

"The experience hasn't started yet. Let's move on," Strange acquiesces, doing a strange hand motion and the entire area changed. Both men are now floating just outside the Earth's atmosphere. The moon, sun and stars surrounding them.

Makarov marvels at the sight, "Is this Earth?"

"It is," Strange answers, "One little planet. A speck in the grand calculus of the universe. Just one of many planets and dimensions within this reality."

Makarov takes a moment to recollect himself, "Why are we here? I know you didn't go through all this to go stargazing."

"We're here to teach you about the workings of the universe," Strange coyly admits, "There exists plenty of dimensions filled with their own unique inhabitants."

Thoughts of the many dimensions Strange has travelled to race through his head.

The Seven Capital Cities of Heaven.

Olympus.

Even the dreaded Dark Dimension.

"Now we know you and your guild come from within your own little dimension," Strange explains.

"Well this is fascinating, I have to ask where you're going with this?" asks Makarov.

"Some beings are capable of breaking the barriers between dimensions and that's where the Sorcerer Supreme comes in," Stephen states with a serious tone. "Myself and the rest of the Masters of the Mystic Arts have gone up against beings who threaten to destroy reality as we know it. So if something or someone managed to bring your island to New York. What purpose does that serve?"

Makarov begins to think but shakes his head, "I don't think that dragon had any ulterior motives and I definitely do not believe it intended to let us live."

"So it really was a dragon? Met a few in my tenure. Some nice, some needing some slaying. What was this one's deal?"

"As I told the Avengers, this one is just one savage beast that until recently was believed to be nothing more than a ghost story."

Strange raised his eyebrow at that, "This lizard got a name?"

Makarov takes a deep breath and locks eyes with Strange, fear evident on his face.

"Its name is Acnologia. Black Dragon of the Apocalypse."

The Sorcerer Supreme has gone up against pretty terrifying opponents. However that name sent a chill down his spine.

"Sounds friendly," Strange snarks, "Nonetheless until we know more, that dragon is the only link we have to your guild transporting here."

Makarov thinks for a moment and decides to reveal a little more about prior events, "Well there is one more thing I can think of."

This got the Sorcerer's attention and he raised his hand to let the Wizard continue.

"I take it you heard of my guild's confrontation with Grimoire Heart?" asks Makarov.

Strange nods, "I did. You explained to the Avengers that they were dedicated to creating a world solely for those with Magic to inherit?"

Makarov now nods, "Yes but I left out who they needed to accomplish that goal."

The Sorcerer Supreme cocked his eyebrow at the 'who'.

"Zeref, the Black Wizard. Earthland's most evil wizard in history was on Tenrou Island," Makarov reveals after taking a deep breath.

Strange hums, "A Black Dragon and a Black Wizard. With those names, it can't have been a coincidence they both appeared on the island?"

"I don't know of their relation but Zeref was a man thought to be dead in the dirt. I wouldn't have believed it myself if it were not for my children sharing an encounter," Makarov admits, remembering Natsu's scarf being tainted by such malefic Magic. "Perhaps he is behind my guild's predicament?"

"I ask again, what would anyone gain by sending your guild here?" Strange questions.

"I am not sure. But from the stories of Zeref, he doesn't need a reason to cause undue misery. This is the man whose evil is still hurting the people of today," said Makarov, reminiscing of how many of his children were hurt from the machinations of Zeref.

Namely Erza and Gray.

"Let's put a pin in that for now," Strange suggests.

From what he could tell of this Zeref, he seems to be the scourge of the magical community on Earthland. Almost like a certain fiery headed dark lord he's fought more than a few times. If the Black Wizard was anything like the ruler of the Dark Dimension, then he doubts this will be the last word of him or the Black Dragon.

Stephen shelves his thoughts for now, "I think it's wise to keep you and your guild under my eye until we can figure out how to send you back home."

"Like your prisoners?" huffs Makarov.

"More like house guests," reasons Strange, "It's a good offer, we can offer you sanctuary, get your island under our protection from unwanted visitors and Wong makes a mean kimchi."

Makarov takes a moment before speaking, "This seems too good to be true, not to mention we know nothing of this land. What could we possibly offer you?"

"The way your guild uses Magic seems interesting, none like I've ever seen. Perhaps a learning experience can be arranged while we try to find your home?"

Makarov still wasn't convinced and Strange made one final bargain.

"I know this is alot but I promise you, no harm will come to your guild under my protection. What do you say?"

The Guild Master thinks on the choices he has. On one hand he and his guild were kidnapped by a very powerful Sorcerer who was offering refuge. The other hand was to say no and possibly remain in those cells until they broke out. Not that they had anywhere else to go in this strange new world.

Mulling it over, Makarov knew he only had one choice.

"Alright but I need to make this decision with my guild before anything gets serious."

"Of course," Strange concedes, "Well then we should be heading back."

The Master of the Mystic Arts snaps his fingers and Makarov feels himself shoot towards Earth like a meteor. Soon enough his Astral Form is careened back into his body and he jumps up in a fright. Breathing heavily from the experience, while Strange seems unaffected.

"Before we go back to your guild, let's welcome our guests," the Sorcerer Supreme states and Makarov hears someone knocking. Strange waves his hand and the same golden ring that took him and his guild away, brought forth new visitors.

The Wizard Saint quickly recognises them as Iron Man, Thor, Wasp and Black Widow. They were startled by being suddenly summoned into the Sanctum Sanctorum.

"...look at that, I guess someone is home," Wasp says, still alarmed by going through a magical portal.

"Avengers. Welcome to the Sanctum Sanctorum," welcomes Strange. "Last I checked there were more of you?"

Iron Man's response is to aim a repulsor blast at the Sorcerer Supreme, "Alright you goatee sporting bastard, you have until the count of five to give us back the cast of A Midsummer's Night Dream. If you don't, that's a curtain call for you pal!"

The Master of the Mystic Arts isn't even the least bit intimidated but Makarov interrupts before anything could escalate.

"Please Avengers, there is no need for violence! This man is no enemy."

The Armoured Avenger isn't convinced, "That's just your stockholm syndrome talking there Mak. Now where was I? Oh yeah, I'm about to make a douchebag disappear."

Thor stands between his teammate and Strange, "Iron Man heel. Would an enemy invite us into their abode so cavalierly? I think this matter should be sorted with words."

"Surprised that the space viking has more manners than you Stark," Strange couldn't resist pointing out.

"Not helping your case here Magic Man," Iron Man acquiesces and powers down his repulsor. "To answer your earlier question, the others are helping the city because of the recent case of hellspawn. Also their on standby in case this goes south."

"Well let's get right down to business," states Dr Strange.

Black Widow couldn't agree more, "I agree. Why did you abduct innocent stragglers and where are you keeping them?"

Strange and Makarov give them the full rundown. From Strange's role as the Sorcerer Supreme, their discussion about Acnologia and Zeref. Finally about Fairy Tail's living situation.

"So can we all agree that my stockholm comment hit the mark," Iron Man quips.

"I have to agree with Iron Man. Makarov I know this guy is also a wizard but he did abduct you and your guild," Wasp reasons.

"Sorcerer," Strange corrects.

Wasp was taken aback, "What?"

"I'm a Sorcerer. Kind of in the title of Sorcerer Supreme."

"Whatever! My point is, how can we know your intentions are pure? We didn't even know about you until today!" Wasp stresses out.

"I think it's in everyone's best interests that I take them on. I'm an expert in travelling to other dimensions so I'm their best bet in getting them home. Besides I doubt you'll have the time to accommodate them, don't you have a world-ending disaster to prepare for?"

The Avengers grimace. Ragnarök is almost approaching a dire situation that requires their attention. Not to mention all their other duties as Earth's Mightiest Heroes. Fairy Tail would definitely be affected if they were to live at the Mansion.

It wouldn't be fair to put them in the crosshairs.

"So you know of Ragnarök?" Thor inquires.

Strange retorts, "Hard not to notice the demons from hell attacking New York not even ten minutes ago. Wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't know what was happening in this reality."

"So if your job is the Headmaster of Hogwarts. Where were you doing the last few world-ending disasters?" Iron Man interrogates.

"I was busy protecting your reality from other world-ending disasters," Strange answers. "Douchebag."

Iron Man would've shot a repulsor blast at the smug Sorcerer but Black Widow jumps in.

"Moving on. Makarov this is your choice, whatever you want we support," Widow states.

"As I told Strange, I will not make any major decisions without consulting my children," Makarov states.

Iron Man concedes, "Fair enough. Let's check where the Bleecker Street Magician is hiding the rest of the pixies."

Strange waves his hands and they find themselves at the edge of the Sanctum's dungeon. However they weren't quite expecting what happened next.

"Kick his butt Natsu!"

They recognise the voice as Happy and gaze onto Natsu, freed from his cell, attacking Wong with fiery fists. However the stout Sorcerer dodges every one of them, until Natsu changes tactics.

"FIRE DRAGON TALON!"

The Salamander's left foot is set ablaze and he kicks Wong in the stomach, sending him flying across the dungeon. The Sorcerer's clothes were tinged and he coughed in pain.

Wong grunts, "That hurt Mr Dragneel. Want to know how it feels?"

Natsu's only response was to ignite his fists with fire once more and go for the final blow. Wong knew this was his chance and with a wave of his hand, a golden portal appeared in front of him. Natsu wasn't quick enough so punched into the portal and before he knew it, his own fiery fist struck him in his cheek.

The Dragon Slayer was knocked down by his own punch.

"Natsu!" Lucy screams in worry.

"Wong!"

The stout Sorcerer looks to see Strange and Makarov with the Avengers following suit. All of them had incredulous expressions.

"What's going on here?!" Makarov exclaims.

"Well Mr Dragneel was starting to get a little uppity so I let him out of his cage," Wong answers.

"Why? So you can do Magic Fight Club?!" Wasp guffaws.

"He insulted my honour as a Master of the Mystic Arts," Wong reasons, "...he also called me tubby which I did not care for."

Natsu gets up and is about to continue fighting but Makarov puts his hand up to stop him.

"Easy my boy. Best start getting along with them, I have much to share with you all.

The Fairies all raise an eyebrow and could tell a lot has happened when their Guild Master was taken away.

Once the rest of Fairy Tail were released from their cells, they were informed of their situation.

Some were less than enthused.

"So we're shacking up with the dicks that kidnapped us?" Cana bitterly remarks.

Makarov nods, "I suppose we are."

"Why can't we just stay on the island?" Bickslow ponders.

"I don't think that's smart. I don't doubt that people aren't trying to inspect the island as we speak," Widow reasons.

That alarmed the Fairies.

"What?! We can't let them walk all over our sacred ground." Gray exclaims.

Wong quickly answers, "Don't worry. After the Avengers left, I put a temporary cloaking spell on the island. No one will be able to find it."

Makarov is touched, "Thank you Wong."

Natsu is also touched, "Yeah thanks man. Maybe I was wrong about you Tong."

"Wong. Master literally just said it," Lucy corrects.

"Nevertheless, is there truly no way for us to return home?" the normally implaccable Erza asks in near hysterics.

"It's far too early to answer that but as Masters of the Mystic Arts, you have our word that we'll find your home," Wong promises.

Strange nods, "Also you may not like it but we need to safeguard you. In the case that you were brought here by someone and they want to pay you all a visit."

The Fairies shudder to think anyone purposely brought them to New York. For all they know it could be another Edolas situation or worse. Acnologia could have brought them here.

"So they went from their jailers to their babysitters?" Iron Man whispers into Widow's ear. He got an elbow to his side for his troubles.

"I'll also give aid to your search," Thor offers. "I will go back to Asgard and follow up on our history with Earthland."

"Didn't you just tell us you were at war with the guy who sent those Fire Demons?" Laxus inquires.

"Aye. But I know a comrade whose sight can look beyond the realm tree. If your home is within Heimdall's gaze then your trial may be over."

Fairy Tail don't know who Heimdall is but if he can find Earthland, then they don't care. Hope begins to fill their hearts…

"...but I wouldn't get your hopes up, it has been a few centuries since we had contact," Thor explains, making most of Fairy Tail trip over.

"Geez Thor, don't bait them like that," Wasp admonishes.

"In the meantime, don't believe that we're just going to leave you here with David Blaine and his charming assistant," Iron Man states, making Fairy Tail raise an eyebrow at the reference.

"Who is David Blaine?" they all think in unison.

"We will be checking in to make sure these two hold up their end of the bargain," Iron Man states.

"We also want to help you guys acclimate to New York while you stay," Wasp offers, surprising everyone.

Iron Man questions, "Uhh. What?"

Wasp rolls her eyes, "Come on. Our team is made up of people who are new to New York. What better way for them to adjust than with the Avengers!"

The current Avengers tilt their heads in bewilderment. Wasp is right. Thor was from Asgard, Black Panther was from Wakanda, Vision was a machine and Captain America was from the past.

"Aye. From personal experience it is best for them to have companions who know of the land they walk on," Thor confidently states before looking sheepish, "...I certainly needed it."

"I say you still need it," Iron Man quips.

"So are we all in agreement?" Makarov inquires.

"If there's anything else. We know how to find you," Iron Man bends down slightly and raises his hand in front of Makarov, who takes it. The two men shaking hands, "If it doesn't work out with Criss Angel then you can move in with us."

Makarov keeps shaking his hand, "...who is Criss Angel?"

Iron Man chuckles, "Ahh, so much to introduce to you."

Wasp goes to talk with Lucy, Wendy and Carla.

"Well I guess I should let you guys rest," said Wasp. "Don't you worry I'll be back so we can sightsee, try on clothes and you can tell me all about Earthland."

"Really? That sounds wonderful!" said Wendy, improving her dour mood into a somewhat happy one. Which made Carla give a sigh of relief.

"I would like that too," Lucy agrees and internally thinks, "Hopefully this dimension is more pleasant than Edolas."

Natsu approaches Thor with a slight nervous expression, "Hey. You said you knew dragons from Earthland right?"

Thor nods, "Aye."

The Fire Dragon Slayer takes a moment before speaking while the Thunder God waits patiently.

"Do you know a dragon called Igneel?"

That got everyone around to pay attention.

"Igneel?" Thor repeats, a wistful look on his face. "Aye I remember. The newly crowned Fire Dragon King. I never met him face to face but tales of his might were heard throughout Earthland. Are you his apprentice?"

"I'm his son," Natsu clarifies which made the Avengers and Sorcerers raise their eyebrows.

"Say what?" Wasp lets out.

"Did he just say he's the son of a dragon?" Wong whispers to Strange.

"Adopted, right?" Iron Man queries.

"Yeah what of it!" Natsu said indignantly.

"Nothing wrong with adoption," Thor says with a bitter smile. "I was unaware that dragons adopted their dragon slayers?"

Natsu preaches, "Well it's not just me, Gajeel and Wendy have dragon parents!"

"If you know of Salamander's dragon. Then have you met the Iron Dragon Metalicana?" Gajeel questions.

Wendy also questions, "And the Sky Dragon Grandeeny?"

Thor takes a moment to register the names.

"Nay. I fought with and against alot of dragons. The one I really only had a relationship with was…"

Thor bit his tongue as he remembers how badly the relationship with the Moon Dragon ended. His cheeks lightly heat up in embarrassment and he shakes his head to clear his thoughts.

The Thunder God stammers, "I…uh…it was a long time ago. When I return to Asgard, I'll try to ask around if anyone met any of your dragons if that is a comfort for you all,"

"Thank you Mr Thor," Wendy appreciates.

Natsu and Gajeel were less vocal but gave a nod of gratitude. The former looks slightly dejected.

"Well we should be going, the city needs our attention. SHIELD would want a debriefing on today's events," Black Widow expresses.

Iron Man agrees, "Widow's right. We'll leave you guys to it."

Thor turns to face Strange and Wong.

"Can we depend on your help against Surtur? Asgard could use Sorcerers like you?"

The two Sorcerers look at each other.

"We will protect this reality from any magical threat," Wong began.

Strange finishes, "But we tend to do it on our own terms. When you need our help, we'll know."

The Asgardian nods and joins his team. They all wave goodbye and wait a few moments, confusing the Fairies.

"Doc, come on," Iron Man complains. "We don't know where the door is! Portal us out of your sex dungeon, Hou-!"

Strange waves his hand and the Avengers disappear through a golden portal before Iron Man could finish his reference.

"Now that they're gone. I bet you guys are hungry?" Wong rhetorically asks. He was answered by some sheepish grins and stomach rumbling.

"It has been a long day," Makarov admits. "I heard you made a 'mean kimchi'?"

After the Avengers left, the Fairies had their first proper meal since they began the S-Class Trial. They don't know if it was just hunger but Wong's kimchi was delicious.

When they were done with the meal, they had a long discussion with the Masters of the Mystic Arts.

It took begging but they managed to convince them to let them live on the island. This island was their sacred ground and their last link to Earthland. A place they can temporarily call home while they go through this ordeal.

The Sorcerers agreed and preparations were to be made to better conceal it from New York. And to let them study the island and use a portion of it to train new students of the Mystic Arts. Fairy Tail is allowed entry in the Sanctum Sanctorum as balance.

When the day was done, the Fairies were tired and wanted to rest. So the Fairies step through a golden portal and find themselves back on Tenrou Island. Though the island was hidden, they could still see New York's skyline and the lights that illuminate the night sky.

"The view ain't bad," Gildarts notes.

"It actually looks really pretty at night," compliments Levy.

"A romantic backdrop for Juvia and her icy hunk to snuggle against," Juvia suggested as she hugs Gray.

The Ice Make wizard was less than on board, "NO WAY!"

"What a day we had," Freed couldn't help but state. No one could blame him.

"Yeah. Well at least this time we're not stuck as lacrima," Bickslow remarks.

"No. We're just stuck with no idea of how to get back," Evergreen dejectedly comments.

"What kind of thinking is that?! We got Thor and Strange helping us and those two are pretty manly!" Elfman said with his regular manish flair.

Evergreen grew an angry expression, "Come on muscle-head. We barely know those guys, and they said so themselves; that it's not going to be that simple!"

"I have to agree with her. At least with Edolas; Carla and the rest knew what was going on. Here we're just clueless," Cana dejectedly agrees.

"Aww. Does my precious Cana feel down in the dumps? Maybe a hug from dear old dad will cheer you right up?!" Gildarts gushes and hugs his daughter in response. Much to her chagrin.

"I don't know about this Edolas thing but it does seem like a long shot," Laxus comments. "Hell we don't even know how we got here! Seems like we shouldn't be trusting people we just met."

Many didn't want to say it but the grandson of Makarov had a point.

"That may be so but we have to keep faith. Until otherwise I will continue to believe that our new friends can help us return home!" Erza voices.

Lucy vehemently agrees with her scarlet haired comrade, "Erza's right. We can't think so negatively!"

"They are both correct. We don't know how long we'll be here, but we might as well make the most of it," Pantherlily reasons.

Levy claps her hand with a cheery smile, "It may not be ideal but we're in another dimension. Think of the possibilities."

"Like all the iron in this world I can munch on," Gajeel ponders with a smile.

Levy comically sweat drops.

"Well I hope this world might be more friendly to us than Edolas," Lisanna remarks. "Wonder if there are any new animals to discover?"

"Like fish!" Happy drools.

Mira smiles, "That's the spirit."

Wendy gazes at the New York skyline, "I can't wait to see the city. Can you Carla?"

"I suppose it would be nice to immerse ourselves in the culture of this world. We didn't have the chance to do that in Edolas," Carla observes.

"I guess it won't be so bad," Gray remarks.

Juvia nods, "Juvia agrees with Gray."

"That's what I like to hear!" Makarov declares. "This guild will remain strong no matter what!"

That declaration made all the previous naysayers smile a bit and a little hope entered their hearts.

All except one.

"Natsu," Lucy notices the normally rambunctious dragon slayer has been silent since the Avengers left. "You've been pretty quiet, are you okay?"

The Fire Dragon Slayer gives an empty stare as a response and he turns to walk away.

"I'm gonna go to sleep. I'll see you guys in the morning."

That worries her and the rest of the guild as they watch the pink-haired wizard walk into the forest. Lucy is about to catch up to him before a mechanical hand rests on her shoulder.

"Give him time," Gildarts advises. "It's been a long day for everyone. He'll feel better in the morning."

Lucy hesitantly nods but spares a glance at the retreating form of Fairy Tail's Salamander. Worry still on her face.

Doctor Strange was meditating in one of the many rooms in the Sanctum Sanctorum and transcends his spirit into the Astral Plane. He remains silent in the same room as his corporeal body, waiting patiently.

"I know you're there. I sensed your presence when I left the island."

The Sorcerer Supreme heard girlish giggles in response.

He turns around and fails to see someone until he turns his head down. In front of him is a little girl with peachy skin and large green eyes. She had long pastel blonde hair that reached her bare feet and wing-like adornments around her head. She wore a frilly pink layered robe of intricate design.

Strange couldn't believe who was in front of him, "Unless Wong has been running daycare, why is a child haunting this sanctum?"

"Oh silly I'm not haunting anything," the ghost girl continues to giggle.

Strange raises an eyebrow, "Well who are you?"

The ghost girl looks up at the Sorcerer Supreme with her big green eyes.

"My name is Mavis Vermillion and I'm Fairy Tail's first master."

Surprised that I managed to get this out as soon as I did. Lots of things to go into.

Fairy Tail has taken asyslum with the Masters of the Mystic Arts which I think makes more sense for them than the Avengers. Not to say that they won't help each other out from time to time but I wanted to shake things up. Don't know alot of Doctor Strange lore besides movies so he'll definetly be in the background for the next few arcs.

On that note, the next few chapters will fairly be episodics and character based. This is a large cast with just the Fairy Tail guild and I want to take the Justice League animated series approach of focusing on a select group of characters for balance. Some arcs will be based on other Marvel media like the cartoons and side-comics so you'll know it when you see them.

I feel that I didn't really nail down why Strange would be so accommodating to Fairy Tail. Feel like I'm missing something but I'm not going to obsess over it and there'll be plenty of time for more interactions. Especially with Mavis dropping in at the end.

The next few arcs will focus on the Fairies healing and learning about the new world they entered while taking on a few Marvel villains. So stay tuned.
