Authors note: And here is chapter 2 this will be the last exposition and lore heavy chapter i just needed to get it all out of the way to get to the premise of why things are as they are, i prefer the story to not just be Deku has a random quirk here is a story kind of deal. That said lets get this show on the road.
Chapter 2 A sliver of chaos.
Deku looked around trying to see where he went but jumped as a voice spoke from behind him. "Because it seems the guest of honor has arrived." He said placing a clawed hand on the boy's shoulder turning him around to look at him. "Welcome Midoriya to the Chaos club. Me and my friends here have a proposal for you." He said with a grin.
Midoriya looked up at the Mismatched creature in front of him. "A..a P-proposal?" he stammered out slightly intimidated.
The chimera nodded its head. "Indeed but before that lets get settled." He said as he snapped his fingers and a large table appeared. "Take a seat kid this is gonna be a little exposition heavy." He said popping himself and Izuku to the table. Two more pops sounded as the glowing triangle and the blue skinned referee appeared at the table as well, there was a quiet scraping as the gray rabbit pulled out a chair sat down and propped his feet onto the table. The chimera looked at an empty seat and sighed before yelling across the room. "Eris please get over here we need you for introductions." He called out with annoyance to the blonde woman at the poker table.
The yellow square from the food table yelled back with a squeaky voice. "oooo oooo do you guys need me too?" He asked excitedly.
The triangle rolled its eye and yelled back. "No bob we only need five of the big 6 for this just relax." He said as the square went back eating. "As if were gonna listen to that nutjob for the entire meeting." He growled out as the rest of the table nodded.
The blonde woman now identified as Eris swayed over drawing a blush from Izuku as she sat down and crossed her legs. "Indeed dahling but never forget he is among the 6 gods for a reason." She said giving a side eye to the triangle.
The triangle blew a raspberry at her. "Whatever, can we just do the introductions already I'm sick of the author referring to me as a triangle, as if the readers don't know who i am by now." He said crossing his arms.
The blue skinned man nodded. "Absolutely right, ok Izu (you don't mind i call you Izu right?) lets do some intros." He said as he teleported behind the glowing triangle. "This here little guy packs a mean streak and a mean punch, the hater of twins everywhere and the lover of no-scope montages he is Bill cipher." He said as confetti dropped down from the ceiling. He than moved to behind the rabbit. "And here we have the original animated god of chaos, the creator of the chaos club, a lover of carrots and wearing woman's delicates, the one and only Buggs bunny." He cheered as Buggs tipped his carrot to the boy with a smirk. The blue man moved behind the woman but stopped as she held up a hand.
She than stood up and put her arms out wide. "And I am Eris Discordia goddess of chaos And lover of golden apples. I do hope we can get to know each other rather intimately Dahling." She purrs as she winks at the teen who erupts into red.
The blue man sighs and pulls her back to the seat. "Easy there gilf your gonna kill him before we get a chance to talk to the kid. leave the swinging to your parties at Olympus." He says as she pouts. "Ahh well she kinda ruined my mood a bit but i am the one and only GENIE OF THE LAMP!" He yells growing in size and surrounding himself in several neon lights. "i can do anything and everything but don't ask for wishes cause I'm out of that biz and into the fun biz." he states quickly and Izuku quickly nods.
The chimera than brings his paws together and speaks to the boy. "And i am known as Discord, spirit of disharmony. And we are five of the gods of chaos." He said waving his hand to the table.
Izuku blink a few times. "uh ok um nice t-to meet all of you, i am i-izuku Midoriya." he introduced himself.
Bill looked over at Buggs. "You sure about him? He can't even speak a complete sentence." He said with half lidded eye.
Buggs smiled and nodded. "Yep I has full faith in the kid, I ain't to hung up on his social skills and more focused on his mold breaking." He said with a fond grin.
Discord nodded in agreement. "I 355 percent agree, and I do believe the little cinnamon roll here would make a fine agent of chaos." He said taking a drink of chocolate milk that appeared into his hand.
Izuku's eyes widened. "Wha- but I'm not- I have been fighting chaos ever since I got my quirk. I'm a fighter of peace!" He exclaimed.
Discord nodded. "Of course you are but let me tell you a bit of a secret." He said as he leaned forward. "What you have been fighting isn't chaos but anarchy." He said as the rest of the table shivered in disgust, except for Izuku who looked lost.
Genie piped in seeing the boys look. "Now you have the look of Some one who thinks that chaos and anarchy are the same thing but let me tell you Izu." He said pausing to pull out a picture of All for one. "This man does not represent us in anyway shape or form." He said as the table nodded.
Eris looked over to the boy. "Lemme ask you, if All for one or the 2 dollar handjob had become victorious in their little war, what do you think they would have done afterwards?" She asked the boy.
The teen thought for a moment and gave his opinion. "They probably would have established themselves in charge of Japan and gathered their power base to either protect their control over the country or move into the mainland for an invasion into other countries." He mused out loud. "After he was done with his conquests he probably would have named himself emperor or some equivalent and remade the world government in his image, passing and changing laws to his liking and removing any form of gathering rebellion from ever being able to be formed." The young teen said quickly.
The others at the table blinked a few times than shook the cobwebs from their brains. "Dang kid you can really go onto a tirade when you want to huh?" Buggs remarked as Izuku embarrassedly rub the back of his head looking down at the table. The rabbit just chuckled and nodded his head. "But you definitely hit da nail on da head with that one. So tell me what part of taking over and running a government or a country, chaotic?" He challenged
Izuku blinked and began to look deep in thought "In all honesty there is no real way to run a country chaotically, it would collapse in a mess within a few years no matter how powerful you were, you can't enforce chaos as that would be too orderly." He mumbled to himself than he looked up suddenly as if struck by inspiration.
The gods saw the look and smirked. "And look at that. The duck has dropped and he has seen the fat lady." Bill laughed.
Genie transformed into a priest. "By all that is fun he has seen the truth and is now blessed. halleluiah!" He pronounced as several copies of himself appeared following suit.
Deku looked a little bashful but continued on. "So your saying anarchy isnt chaos its just a stepping stone from one form of order to the other?" he asked.
Eris smiled bright. "Now you get it champ, no one who follows chaos would want to actually rule anything even the annoying pyramid over there never tried to create laws or governments when he was in charge of his realm, he just did what he wanted and let the world fall apart." she explained as bill narrowed his eyes at her.
Discord nodded in agreement. "You see Midoriya chaos is not good nor evil nor neutral. it is not something that you can measure, claim, or identify. Chaos is as chaos does. Chaos is the ideal of freedom above all else, to never be constrained by others values or ideals. Which is why me and Buggs chose you to become one of us." He said with a fond smile.
Deku's eyes widened as the rabbit man spoke up. "Yup imagine a world of nuttin but super powered people all grouped up in neat little categories, good, evil, quirkless, good quirk bad quirk. Everything was going as boring as possible as if guided by destiny den Bam, here comes a quirkless kid born wit the dream of becoming a savior, who despite having the whole world against him refused to fall in line, becomes a hero, ends two reigns of anarchy all while having the absolute time of his life. Refusing to give up and letting himself be Held down by other peoples words and efforts." The rabbit said as he placed a hand on the shoulder of a tearful Izuku. "You refused all labels kid you broke the mold and I'd be honored to give you the chance to join us. After all we rabbits gotta stick together." He said reminding izuku of his first hero suit.
Wiping his eyes, Izuku looked back at discord. "If i joined you guys, what would i be doing exactly? i mean I'm kinda...ya know." he started to say but couldn't finish.
Eris raised and eyebrow. "Dead, sweetie?" She asked innocently.
Midoriya nodded as Discord spoke up. "Well death is only a small road bump in the road of chaos my dear boy. As for what we actually want you to do it is simple we want you to spread some chaos." He explained. "You see Izuku as you can probably guess, we live in a thing called a multiverse. A collection of realities that are all very slightly connected. And in a lot of these realities chaos is very much in short supply but anarchy and order are very much in majority. And unfortunately there is not a whole lot we can do about it, us five and the sponge over there are universally powerful but so are the gods of order, and they have full control over a majority of the realities." He explained.
Bill nodded and took over. "yup and the only way we can spread our influence at all is to grant mortals like yourself some power of chaos in hopes you stir things up in your realities, but we cant just go blessing people with power all willy nilly, otherwise it might go to their head and they end up spreading anarchy which leads to order which leads to us wasting our time." he said waving his arm in a circled motion.
Genie smiled and teleported behind Izuku. "That is why were hoping you with the powers of chaos will go back to your reality, give One for all a wedgie and just live your best life giving us the chance to sneak in some chaos to the realm and let people break free from their monotony and hopefully have some fun!" He exclaimed.
Buggs nodded and tilted his head. "So what do ya say doc? Wanna try again with the deck stacked in your favor?" He questions.
Midoriya pondered the revelations he has heard.
He questioned his place in the grand scheme of it all, he wondered if it was alright for him to get a second chance with better odds.
He than remembered the faces of his classmates "Kachan, Ilda, Ochako, Tsu."
He remembered the deaths that truly did not need to happen. "Midnight sensei...Sir Nighteye."
He remembered wonderful girl that he had rescued. "Eri".
He remembered the woman who raised him and loved him. "Mom."
And just like that he had decided. Just like when he took one for all for himself, he broke free from his constraints and destiny. He looks up to the gods and nods.
"Yes"

And there it is, the end of chapter 2 and the reason why Izuku has caught the gods favor. next chapter Izuku gains his new powers and is returned to his realm, be prepared for weird time as chapter 3 comes around.
