this is a story of a girl, who is related to neo queen serenity and Hotaru tomoe. Her name is Samiko Serenity Tsukino-tomoe. she is the last of the bloodline of both kingdoms. her story starts in the moon kingdom where she grew up abused and tortured from the moon kingdom. she died on the eve of her 14th birthday during a war and her aunt was possessed by an evil entity.

Vo: it was an unseasonably warm fall day, the leaves were falling slowly and the holidays were approaching quickly, the best friends were at crystal Tokyo palace relaxing in Samiko's room, they successfully passed all their exams pre and after, they were going to have a nice time just goofing around watching movies.

Maiko was on her cell phone watching videos of the new hero who graced juuban on many occasions. She didn't recognize who it was because she was upset that the shopping district kept getting attacked. Samiko finally entered the room after showering from her long jog around crystal Tokyo. She sat down on the couch drinking some glassed milk, after she finished she popped open a book and started reading it.

Maiko went over to her best friend and grabbed her book placing a bookmark inside so she doesn't lose the place in which she was reading

"Samiko Serenity Tsukino-Tomoe, we are supposed to be having fun. We did so well on our projects and exams that we deserve this break off. We need to get out of crystal Tokyo palace and be outside enjoying the weather! I have an idea, let's go to the movies. I know there are showing a lot of good ones. We should go. I am pretty sure we can go outside for one day for a few hours. What's the worst that can happen?"

Samiko had one eye closed and her arms closed but gave into Maiko's demands after sighing in defeat

"We can go to the movies. We will be back in four hours if you really want me out of the house. There is no harm in going. I am choosing the movie selection though. I don't know what I am in the mood to see but whatever pops up first that is the movie we will see."

Amaterasu smiled and wiped the fake tear from her eye with her green handkerchief "Samiko-chan is growing up and is trying to be a brave teenager for us by going out in the world. I am so proud of our princess."

Maiko joined in the poking fun at Samiko "Yes Amaterasu, our vampire princess is going out into the sunlight and going to associate with people."

Samiko dropped sweat from the side of her temple in frustration and her eyebrow wiggled "I am not that bad you guys, I just prefer to be away from the public until life matters outside these four large walls. I have two jobs and school and everything under the sun to concern myself with. If I can handle it in a timely manner then so be it. The less I am outside of this castle the better it's protected from the dangers that can happen once I step outside of it. I am not a vampire, I am more of a wolf without a pack if that makes sense. I do not fit the vampire category of glittery or sparkling in the sunlight once I step out in the world."

Midori held both Maiko and Amaterasu back, she smiled at Samiko with all the confidence in the world

"We have a movie to get to, we should be grateful Samiko agreed to go outside today. She would rather read her book until dinner time anyways, whatever movie she chooses we will be watching. We shouldn't poke fun at her because she decided to be a homebody for whatever reason. We should get going now before the seats fill up."

Samiko hugged midori tightly with tears rolling down her face

"Mi-chan, you get me. I would rather stay home and continue to read my books until dinner time. The time to be a normal teenager is now and I should really get out more, I do need sunlight and fresh air. We are like plants in a way, we need air, sunlight and water to stay healthy. We should get going and find what movie we are going to see."

Akiko was on the phone from America with her cousin who she hadn't seen since she was a baby.

There was going to be a Hino family reunion because she was visiting as soon as her vacation started, she will be allowed a two week vacation from the states to visit Japan.

The phone call ended and Akiko joined their conversation as to what movie they were going to watch. They all left Crystal Tokyo Palace and headed to the movie theater where Samiko worked over the weekends. There were so many titles to choose from, one in particular caught Samiko's eye. It was a horror movie based on a video she played a lot as a kid, she also read the books.

She bought the tickets even though she could have gotten in for free, she decided that buying tickets was the best option. They went into the theater and grabbed their seats. Samiko knew akiko hated horror movies of any kind, but this was only a jump scare movie not an actual horror flick.

The members of the movie theater bought the girls their snacks and they paid for it ahead of time. The movie started automatically and the theater was silent, everyone heard the horror music creeping out slowly but loudly.

The voiceover for the movie spoke and scared the heck out of everyone, akiko was hiding her face in Samiko's arm because she couldn't believe that this was the movie she chose to watch with them. Samiko smiled knowing akiko hated every second of it, although they were in the beginning of the movie, the voice still was scary and loud, the movie was called fazbear frights, it takes place during game three of the jump scare game samiko played back then. The movie was about three hours long full of twists and turns, all the monsters scaring the invisible security guard who is just watching them on camera from the office.

Somewhere in the darker parts of the universe, Queen Masami was plotting something sinister to obtain the most powerful crystal known to earth, it was heavily guarded somewhere, it rivaled that of the legendary silver crystal, it contains double the power. It can grant anyone who seeks the greatest of power must hold that crystal in their possession.

Arata the general of Darkness appeared in front of his queen on one knee

"My queen, the search for this crystal is tricky. Who would have this crystal in their possession in the first place? I feel as if we are going around in circles looking for it. The energy we are gathering should be enough to draw out the carrier of this mysterious crystal."

Queen Masami got up from her throne and whacked Arata over his head with her staffed orb

"Arata, you dare question your queen? The crystal exists, the carrier who has possession has been reincarnated but the powers are locked away in the host's body. She can be a real threat to us and our dark kingdom if she activates that crystal. The crystal holds more power than the legendary silver crystal. We will come into possession of that crystal soon enough. This crystal loves playing hide and seek, go to earth now Arata and drain every bit of energy you can to draw the holder of that crystal out. I want you to cause mass panic."

Arata stood up and sent a monster towards Crystal Tokyo where everyone is just coming out of the theater from watching the horror jump scare movie.

Samiko sensed something was off, was this a new power she was gaining or was she getting sick?. She looked at her friends with a serious expression on her face

"You guys need to hurry to Usagi and Mamoru's castle now, i will be there shortly. I don't have time to explain anything, you four head to the castle and stay there until I return. I will be fine."

The four did as they were told and ran back to Usagi and Mamoru's castle, Samiko couldn't let her secret get out that fast. She decided when the time was right that she would let her friends know what was going on after it took them time to process the information. Usagi and Mamoru saw the teen group run right into Samiko's room, they already figured that Samiko told them to come home and she couldn't explain what was happening outside.

The monster was sapping energy from the panicked citizens of crystal Tokyo, he was walking around in a dark robe using a weird object to drain the energy from the citizens. Samiko was in a dark alley and she grabbed her brooch transforming into Sailor angel moon quickly and ran into the middle of the city seeing the monster draining the energy from the citizens, She floated over the monster quietly before it sensed her, the monster felt a chilly air around it, but it continued causing chaos in the middle of the shopping district

"Where is that crystal my master wants? Why is it playing hide and seek. We need you to show yourself crystal. We want your awesome power for ourselves, come out, come out wherever you are."

Samiko went behind the monster landing quietly on her feet

"I thought I was going to enjoy a nice peaceful time with my friends, but no evil always strikes and tries to ruin my fun. I am the champion of justice, peace, love and clarity. I am Sailor angel moon, in the name of crystal Tokyo i will punish you!" She did the famous pose and the monster tried to attack her but she was too quick for it.

She kept dodging it's attacks but her movements were becoming slow which is unusual for her, back at the command center Haruka and Michiru were watching the entire fight wondering how is the saturn rabbit going to get herself out this mess, they had total faith in her athletic abilities and her senshi abilities that it can help her get out of the battle. Maiko and the others were worried about Samiko being outside by herself while the city was under chaos and panic

Rocky was Maiko's cat and he entered Samiko's room, he pawed Maiko's leg to grab her attention to leave the room, once she left the room rocky started to speak

"I didn't think this day would possibly come Maiko, it's time you joined angel moon to protect Crystal Tokyo. I don't have time to explain, go to juuban square right now, angel moon needs your help." He threw her brooch towards her, she caught it in her hands confused but did as she was told. Her cell phone rang and it was Minako who was concerned, she was watching from the command center with the others on the big screen.

Minako was panicking over the phone as if she was being chased by someone

"Maiko, I didn't want this day to come. I wanted you and akiko to enjoy normal teen life but duty calls. I suppose you found out your cat talks and he gave you a brooch to transform. I don't have time to explain, but i decided to name you Sailor love me chain, after my attack as a scout back in the days. All you gotta say is crystal chain love make up and transform into your senshi form. I know it sounds weird but being a ruling planet of love and beauty has its perks. I promise things will be explained but go to angel moon now. She needs your help."

Maiko ran to an empty room making sure it was sound proof, she knocked on the walls of that empty room, they were soundproof as soundproof can be, She threw her brooch up in the air and screamed " CRYSTAL CHAIN LOVE…. MAKEUP!"

She transformed into her senshi form and looked into a mirror, her outfit fit all the right places, she rushed to the town square where angel moon was still dodging the monster's attack. She saw that angel moon was captured and being squeezed to death by the monster, Maiko couldn't think but she took off her heel and started rotating it fast

She yelled at the top of her lungs

"CRYSTAL LOVE HEART HEEL SPIRAL!" Everyone at the command center was watching the battle, They looked at Minako and snickered.

Minako shook her head thinking about how she should have used her heel as an attack, it was creative on Maiko's part naming the attack, they continued to watch the fight. The monster was encased for a bit in the heart crystal, while samiko regained her breath, she looked up at who was helping her up.

Sailor love me chain helped Angel moon up "Samiko Serenity Tsukino-Tomoe, You are angel moon?! How long were you planning on hiding this from us?"

Angel moon looked at her best friend who helped her up "There is a perfectly good explanation for this, I was going to tell you all when I thought of a way to explain it. I was handling the fight on my own pretty well. I wasn't getting roughed up too bad."

Sailor love me chain pulled Angel moon's ear hard

"Angel moon, you were getting your ass handed to you on a silver platter. You were turning all shades of blue and purple like in those old time cartoons from centuries ago. We will have a talk about this, right now the monster needs to be destroyed. The one I encased with my heel. Deliver the final blow to the monster angel moon!" Angel moon looked at the monster who was encased by love me chain's attack, she charged at the monster and kicked it so hard that the monster's physical body ceased to exist at all.

After the battle, Arata appeared out of nowhere landing in front of the two scouts

"I can't believe there are two of you now, this makes my job a lot more difficult finding the crystal my queen wants. I want this to be a warning, just because there are two of you doesn't mean you won the battle. I will return you pesky scouts! You ruined my fun!" He charged at them both and tried to attack them, angel moon grabbed Sailor love me chain and her wings let them fly high in the sky. Arta crashed into a light pole hurting his face because he charged so blindly.

Angel moon had Love me chain in her arms bridal style, she looked at her nervously

"You ok there, Mai-chan? You aren't hurt are you? This is exactly why I didn't want any of us following in our cousins' steps. I tried so hard to make sure we didn't, but here we are now and there is no point in trying to correct the hands of time or try to change destiny. As long as the others don't become senshi I should be fine. I have been doing this for a few weeks now and I am still learning about how to be a hero for Crystal Tokyo. I was used to this being an extracurricular activity to keep up with my physical activity of working out.

Arata has made this difficult for me now because you are involved as a senshi, if i think this through carefully it's possible he will try to find a way to use you to get what he wants for his queen. I seriously don't believe that there is a crystal more powerful than neo queen serenity's legendary silver crystal."

Sailor love me chain poked angel moon's forehead hard and folded her arms, she also saw how she was being held and blushed dark red nervously

"A-angel m-moon, this couldn't be avoided even if the hands of time stopped or if earth stopped rotating. I am part of your senshi team whether you like it or not.

The others will soon follow in destiny's footsteps, we can't avoid the obvious. U-um can you let me go now?, this is something for a newly married couple, akiko wouldn't like this at all. I know we are best friends but Akiko wouldn't want you to romantically hold another female."

Angel moon flew down carefully, landing on the streets of juuban square with Love me chain in her arms. She placed her best friend on the ground and blushed dark red from embarrassment

"What's your senshi name by the way Mai-chan? How do you know my name was angel moon? Who told you that was my code name? Also, what did you mean that akiko wouldn't like it if i carried another female romantically?"

Sailor love me chain rubbed the back of her head nervously

"Angel moon, you wouldn't believe me if i told you. Rocky, my cat told me that you were angel moon and you needed my help. Minako called me on my cell phone and gave me my code name. I am a sailor love me chain. I am a love senshi in training like you. I hope you can guide and teach me how to do this. We work better as a team instead of you doing this alone. We will get through this together. What i meant about akiko not liking you holding other females, it's kinda clear what i meant about that. I have seen how you two are when you are alone, talking like an old married couple, that real deep connection of understanding one another.

You can't deny that there is a physical attraction between you two, it's so hot between the both of you that it can light a candle if that makes sense. We are a tight knit group of best friends, but you two are setting the bar way too high for us normal folk. What is going on with you two that you aren't telling us?."

Angel moon was blushing dark red from embarrassment after hearing sailor love me chain said

"I can assure you, akiko and I are just best friends. There is a fine line between friendships and romance. We do not cross that line ever, besides I am sure her cousin would never approve of us dating anyways.

She doesn't like me much and I would prefer to stay under her radar as long as possible. I would like to keep my sanity and my peace away from relationships. I am not meant for relationships, I am meant to roam the earth as a lone wolf. A lone wolf like me doesn't have a pack to lead, I have tried so hard to protect you all, prevent this destiny from happening. I can't do anything now to avoid it, if the others become senshi so be it. I just have to float around finding the direction i am going in, this is me, this is who i am. A soul without proper direction. I have my reasons to avoid being outside unless it's school or work or club meetings, it's to protect the foundation Usagi and the other set, the less I am outside, the better the kingdom is protected.

The fewer people who know who I am related to, the more protected this entire planet is. I would rather be a homebody then have the forces of evil figuring out who is my guardian. I am a guest in their castle, I have to follow the rules that were set in place. Once I move out of Crystal Tokyo palace, their kingdom is safer."

Arata heard enough of their chitter chatter and attacked them head on but angel moon blocked him, Angel stared at him and raised her hand, she screamed at the top of her lungs

"RISING CRYSTAL BLOCK!" She created a crystal block from the ground after hitting it, Arata's attack deflected and was directed back at him. He disappeared back to his dark kingdom slightly injured and was coughing. Back at the command center, the elder guardians of the new team that was forming looked at Usagi

Minako patted usagi's head

"Usagi, our cousins aren't babies anymore. They have gotten too creative with their attack names. Why didn't we think of using our heels or something like that during our time? Now there are two scouts. We should have seen this day coming."

Rei had a face on and her arms folded looking at everyone

"I will prevent Akiko from becoming a scout, they don't know the emotional trauma we went through as teenagers. We have tried to live a normal life but it didn't work out. Akiko isn't ready for this type of responsibility. I won't allow her to follow in my footsteps.

I want her to live a normal teenage girl life without the responsibility of being a senshi. I want her to focus on her education and her training as a shrine maiden. I want her to experience dating without any complications, what did Maiko mean when she said that akiko wouldn't like it if Samiko held another female romantically? Does she know something we don't?"

Usagi sighed and poked Rei's forehead softly

"Rei, we can't prevent events from happening. If akiko is chosen as a scout, we have to make the best of it. I know this is concerning for you. This is concerning for us all. I am still trying to break the ice with her, I do want to form a trusting relationship with my cousin. She is a good kid but she has been misguided because of how she was raised.

I am sure Maiko meant nothing by it, it's just teen talk. We all have to head home before they do. We have to act like things are normal even though we know what's happening. We will not get involved in their senshi business, not at all. The same way we had to figure it out, they have to do the same. Samiko is a leader of a team now, we have to put faith and trust in her. I trust you will follow suit and give her a chance to make a better impression on you."

Haruka looked at her watch and had one eye open

"Hotaru and Setsuna are due home any day now, Michiru and I gotta make sure we are there to greet them. She knows we have a new scout in training, but to keep the world safe we have to keep Samiko and Hotaru apart for now. We don't know how both will react to one another, we still have a family reunion to plan and make sure she is comfortable around."

Usagi nodded

"I agree with you Haruka-san, they shouldn't meet until the time is right. We all have to go back to our homes now and relax for the rest of the day."

They all returned home before the two girls made it back, Akiko was worried along with Midori and Amaterasu. She was pacing back and forth with wrinkles forming on her forehead.

Amaterasu looked around wondering where maiko went, but she sat akiko down to calm her down

"I am sure Samiko is fine, we shouldn't worry about her so much. She can take care of herself. I am sure she is in a safe place hiding from the panic. Where did Maiko go? I haven't seen her in an hour. She came back with us didn't she? Where could she have possibly gone?"

Samiko walked in with a box of cookies from a store, she used it as a cover story so nobody would notice anything out of the blue, Maiko walked in about five minutes later pretending she went to the living room to ask Usagi something important.

Akiko ran towards Samiko and hugged her tightly, she had tears in her eyes because she was worried

"Samiko, are you alright? You weren't hurt were you? Maiko, where did you even go? You were gone for an hour! What could you have possibly been doing for an hour?"

Maiko had a nervous lip twitch and her eyes were closed with her hands up in the air

"I was looking for Usagi, I had something to ask her but I couldn't find her anywhere. Is Samiko ok? You can let go of her you know, she went to the store to get us some cookies. I seriously doubt Samiko would go to the middle of Juuban square and try to help people escape the chaos that was happening. She is ok and not in danger, we are all together and the mysterious hero saved the town."

Akiko looked at Maiko and believed her story, she sat back on the couch turning on the tv when the news started reporting what happened in the downtown area. The news reporter was live on the scene and she was reporting on how crystal Tokyo didn't receive any damage during the fight

"We have the latest attempt on crystal Tokyo, thankfully the mysterious hero had back up to help her this time. Mysterious hero and her friend, thank you for saving the city. We hope you will continue to keep protecting us all and our kingdom."

Samiko opened the fresh box of cookies and sat on the couch by akiko

"We did so well on our exams, we deserve a break. The real test begins, we have to prepare for the cultural. It's the biggest event of the year for us. High school will be upon us quicker than a college entrance exam. I hope the council did the right thing and chose which performance we will put on as a play. I told them to exclude Romeo and Juliet. We don't need a sixth grade repeat in front of our middle school peers. I mean if our relatives do come by and want to support us, they can. I just don't want to perform Romeo and Juliet. We went to grade school with half of our classmates."

Amaterasu looked at Samiko and sighed

"Samiko, you know we are all on that committee as well. We are also part of the student council. We worked very hard to shape the school and the school board how we think and feel as a unit, there shouldn't be a problem performing Romeo and Juliet again. I understand that you want to avoid any plays that involves kissing, you want to avoid being the lead. I am sorry to say that mostly all stories have kissing or a very powerful bed scene. There are some things you can't possibly avoid. We are going to work very hard on the festival." Akiko was munching on a cookie from the box and listening to the conversation.

Maiko blinked poking Samiko's forehead again and sighed in frustration

"Samiko, the cultural festival is one huge grade for the entire school. The grades will be split between classes based on seniority of the class. We have make this festival last for years to come, besides when we get to high school we want to leave a lasting impression on the younger students who are coming in as freshmen. We want to leave behind a legacy to live up to when we graduate in April."

Samiko folded her arms and nodded in agreement

"I understand your position guys, trust me I do. If we were to do Romeo and Juliet all over again, there would have to be modifications to the play, the kiss scene would have to be replaced or something. If our family members come, which I know they will, I highly doubt Akiko's cousin wouldn't want me to be the lead if akiko's gonna be the lead. I have a feeling she doesn't like me very much. How do you feel in the shoes of the elders that are raising us that you saw your younger cousin kissing the cousin of your queen and leader? I want to stay under her radar as much as possible while I live here with Usagi and Mamoru. She scares me to be honest. I want to avoid any interaction with her."

Minako walked into Samiko's to see everyone was munching on cookies and was relaxed for the most part

"Samiko and Maiko, come to the library. We want to speak to you both. We want to make sure you're all ok from the city being in panic. Are you guys alright? Did you all make it home safely?"

Akiko nodded

"We made it home just fine, Minako-san, we were worried about Samiko and Maiko. Maiko went missing for an hour and Samiko came back with Cookies. Maiko went to look for Usagi to ask her something important but couldn't find her anywhere so she returned to Samiko's room. I am glad the city is safe from harm thanks to the mysterious heroes. You two go with Minako and talk, we'll be waiting here so we can finish discussing the cultural festival."

Maiko and Samiko left the bedroom to follow Minako to the study, they were both nervous because they wanted to know what they wanted to talk about. When they entered the study room, they saw Rei, Usagi and Mamoru waiting for them. Rei was behind her queen and king with her arms folded staring at the two. Minako told the two girls to sit comfortably and relax, the two teenagers sat down. Samiko felt the eyes of Rei on her, so she had a special hoodie designed for her. She zipped it up to cover her face to avoid eye contact with the elder Hino woman in front of her.

Usagi saw that Samiko was under severe panic mode and wanted to leave, but she knew this was an important conversation that needed to be had.

Mamoru cleared his throat and had one eye opened

"I am glad the city is protected, thank you for your hard work you two. Are you two alright? You aren't injured or anything like that right?"

Maiko nodded holding the chair's armrest and looked at them

"We are fine King Endymion, no injuries here. I am just shocked that I am a senshi in training alongside Samiko. I am upset that she didn't tell me she was angel moon."

Samiko was hiding in her hoodie, but she spoke through the hoodie

"I kinda explained that I was preventing us from becoming senshi. I wanted us to live a normal life. I could have done this senshi business by myself. I want you guys to enjoy life without worries, I know you may have thought it was selfish of me to think I can handle this on my own. I am only thinking of the safety of everyone involved, I didn't want any of my best friends to become scouts. I tried really hard to prevent certain things from happening, that was a huge slap in the face. I was just thinking of everyone's safety."

Maiko flicked Samiko's forehead hard and glared at her

"We can't prevent things that's out of our control, all we can do is make the best of things moving forward. Can you please remove the hoodie from your face?! The elders want to see your face! It's kinda disrespectful to not show your face Samiko-chan!".

Samiko shook her head while being hidden in the hoodie, sitting in the chair holding the armrests

"I am much safer inside my hoodie thank you very much, Mai-chan. I don't like the eyes of everyone on me. It makes me uncomfortable and full of panic. I like when people don't notice I am there, when people don't notice I am at peace and have my sanity in check. We still can have a conversation about the information we received from the monster we just fought and sent packing."

Usagi got up from the desk, she walked over to Samiko and unzipped the hoodie to look her in the eyes

"Samiko, what is the information you received from the monster you two defeated. We need that information right now, Don't worry about rei being in the room. She isn't going to do anything to you. She is here due to emotional support and we have our own meeting today. Please tell us what you found out from that monster that was causing panic in the middle of the city."

Samiko looked into Usagi's deep ocean blue eyes, she dropped sweat because she felt an intense amount of pressure coming from her elder god of a cousin, she sighed and regained her composure

"The monster said it's looking for a crystal that rivals yours Neo Queen Serenity. I seriously doubt that there is such a crystal that can be more powerful then yours or equal to your crystal. Whatever Arata and his goons are looking for, they aren't going to find it in crystal Tokyo. They are being led on a wild goose chase and being misled with horrible information. They aren't going to stop causing panic and distress in the city until they find the crystal that exists to them."

Usagi smiled and patted Samiko's head softly

"Samiko, was that so hard to explain? We will look into this mysterious crystal for you, I do believe you are right though. I haven't used my crystal in years but it is very much active. We have it encased in a crystalized barrier of sorts. My crystal will be heavily protected at all costs, did they mention the name of the crystal by any chance?"

Samiko shook her head and closed her eyes

"They didn't mention it at all, all they said was it rivaled the legendary silver crystal. They said that it's power is double the power of your crystal. They never described what it looked like to begin with, are you sure your crystal is safe?"

Usagi nodded with a smile and kept patting Samiko's head

"samiko-chan , open your eyes. It's ok to look at us. I am positive that the legendary silver crystal is completely safe. You have nothing to worry about. The school sent me a letter about a cultural festival you are having. Why didn't you tell me about it?"

Samiko gulped and had a nervous lip twitch and tried not to make eye contact with Usagi

"I didn't want to bother you with such a small thing, also you have a full kingdom and town to run. Your schedule is jammed packed with so many events. I doubt you will have time to make the cultural festival, I wouldn't want to take you from your duties as queen of crystal Tokyo. The cultural festival is probably going to be small, we are still working on final details. We are making sure it goes perfect before we graduate in the spring. High school is near so we have to leave a lasting legacy behind. I personally feel like things will get more complicated once we enter high school, with evil at every corner high school will be jammed packed with everything under the sun."

Usagi smiled

"I can always move things around so I can get to know you better Samiko-chan, besides who wants to attend meetings all the time anyways? The meetings can take more than a few hours or so. I may leave the castle half the time to travel for other meetings across the world to make sure there is actual world peace.

We have managed to attend meetings overseas far and wide, maintaining world peace. The only meetings we now have are within Crystal Tokyo palace and they last about three or four, sometimes five hours. I like to get out of this castle every once in a while to mingle as if I was back to being normal teenaged Usagi. It's not easy being queen when you have so many responsibilities in front of you plus having a family to look after. I just want a month off from all royal duties and relax for a while."

Rei carefully tapped usagi's head with her fist and had her one eye closed

"Usagi, all you did was relax as a teenager. We want to set a good example for the girls, there are no days off especially for royalty, As members of your royal court, we have to keep you and the king safe, we have no time to relax."

Samiko and Maiko looked at each other while the elders spoke, they both nodded and tried to sneak out but Minako grabbed them by their shirt collars making them sit back down in the chairs until Rei and Usagi were done with their side conversation.

Mamoru sighed and shook his head looking at the young girls in front of him, he carefully placed his hand on his wife's shoulder

"Rei and Usako, we have Maiko and Samiko with us. We really should be setting a better example for them. Can you two quit your bickering? We are centuries older now, we have a new generation to lead.

Maiko and Samiko, I do apologize on their behalf, they have been like this since they were fourteen years old. Old habits die hard."

Samiko nodded quickly and looked at everyone in front of her

"Mamoru-san, it's ok. I understand everyone's concern. The turn of events have spawned a new legacy of heroes for Crystal Tokyo, it will take me some time to get used to, with Maiko on board I won't have to do this alone.

I have no choice but to accept this new responsibility. I still have a lot to learn about this destiny that was thrown on to me. I will make the best of it for an even brighter future."

Rei looked at Samiko with the classic Hino stare

"Samiko-chan, what are your intentions with Akiko? Several people have said you two act more than best friends. Is there something going on between you two? I want to know what your clear intentions are with my baby cousin right now."

Samiko looked nervously at rei and regained her composure

"I can assure you Hino-san, nothing is going on between Akiko and i. We are just best friends. There is nothing more going on then fifteen years of friendship. Whatever is being said isn't the truth, all i see akiko is my best friend and that's all. I have no intentions with her whatsoever. I will keep her at arm's length if that's what you wish. I can't be bothered with relationships anyways, I am not mature or capable of handling one. I wouldn't want you to feel disrespected if akiko and i did cross that line, I promise you that we will never ever cross that line.

I can tell you already have a huge dislike of me for whatever reason, I respect your choice. You want akiko to be protected and focused on her school work and shrine duties. If you'll excuse me, I'll go for that jog now and then come back to the castle." She got up and bowed with respect to everyone, she ran out the castle to start her jog.

Minako sighed and bopped rei on the head

"Rei, you had to go and scare her off didn't you? This is going to cause a rift between them. Akiko is always going to wonder why samiko is being distant from her for no reason. Samiko is a good kid with a good heart, she means no harm to anyone. I see in her eyes she has no romantic feelings towards akiko. We agreed that there shouldn't be a rift or a problem between friends.

I seriously doubt that akiko has any romantic feelings for samiko, we have to trust that nothing is going to happen. I will go after Samiko and see where her head is at, she is definitely scared of you now. You have given her every reason not to give you eye contact or be in the same room as you." Rei was shocked by what just happened, she knew Minako was right but she would never admit it.

Somewhere in the downtown juuban district, Samiko was jogging with her headsets on, she had tears streaming down her face. She began to think to herself

'This is stupid, akiko and i will never ever be a couple. I am a broken rabbit who had her heart broken so long ago. I don't see why everyone is so concerned about how we act towards each other. Everyone needs to mind their business and focus on their own love life. I will never ever fall in love ever again, I'll make sure my heart is completely closed off to the idea. All it takes is one shot to break me and I got broken so badly. I have to focus on myself, my studies and my future. I want to know why I was reborn in the first place. I have no reason to be here given this second chance.

I am a cloud of negative energy and I have to make sure my mood doesn't affect anyone. I will keep akiko at arms length to keep her elder cousin happy. I am who I am at the end of the day, which is a nobody living at neo queen serenity and Mamoru's castle. I can't wait to move out so I can be on my own and away from the world.'

She continued to jog with her eyes closed, she was lost in her own thoughts, she wasn't paying attention to where she was jogging and bumped into Miyako and Michiko who were on their way back to their apartment. Miyako and Samiko both fell on the floor and michiko moved out the way before she became collateral damage along with the grocery bag she was holding in her arms.

Samiko rubbed her forehead and shook her head, she removed her headphones placing them on her shoulder and around her neck

"I am so sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. My head was in the-"

When she noticed who it was, she got up very quickly and backed away from the two. Michiko gave Miyako the grocery bag, she walked over to samiko and saw that her eyes were puffy from crying

"Why are your eyes puffy Samiko? What happened? You aren't normally spaced out. What is troubling you at this very moment? You shouldn't jog with your eyes closed. It's very dangerous." She grabbed Samiko's face trying to figure out what was happening with Samiko, she stared directly into her silver eyes.

Samiko did what she normally did when she was backed into a corner, she backflipped out of michiko's grasp. She started hyperventilating badly as if she was having a major panic attack, she bowed in respect and ran off to escape everyone.

Michiko contacted Michiru through her smart watch on her wrist

"Hey Michi, we ran into the saturn rabbit. Something is wrong with her. She wasn't acting like her normal self. She looked so lost and confused, she looked like she had been crying on her nightly jog. She just ran off in a huge panic."

Michiru was on the screen of Michiko's watch with a concern look

"We'll go and find her, you two head home right now. I am sure Shiori is waiting for her night time snack and her bedtime story."

She hung up the phone call, the two younger senshi in training did as they were told. Michiko and Miyako arrived at their apartment being greeted by Noriko and Shiori.

Shiori jumped into Miyako's arms and giggled

"Hi papa Miyako and mommy Michiko. Why are you two late for my snack and my bedtime story? Did something happen outside?"

Noriko had her arms crossed looking at the two while she was drinking a cup of tea

"Why are you two late? It doesn't take long to get groceries, what kept you two?"

Michiko looked at Miyako to take Shiori into her bedroom

"Miyako, please get Shiori ready for bed while I put the groceries away and speak to Noriko."

Miyako had Shiori in her arms and took her to her bedroom to prepare her for her snack and her bedtime story. Michiko put all the groceries inside their refrigerator and poured herself a cup of tea to calm down

"Miyako and I weren't late on purpose, there was a slight delay we were dealing with. We ran into Usagi's baby cousin. She seemed to be crying when she was jogging this early at night. I don't understand why she chooses to go out at this hour for a jog, something is deeply bothering her. I called Michiru and they are going after her to see what's wrong. Whatever is bothering her, it must be big and it's a burden on her. She ran away from us before I could get an answer out of her."

Noriko finished her cup of tea and place her cup on the coaster

"Michiko, you know as well as I, we shouldn't interfere with Neo queen Serenity's family issues. The fact you called Michiru and Haruka to help the girl out is just not you. Why go to all this trouble for the queen's relative? What makes this girl special?"

Michiko looked at Noriko with a serious expression on her face

"We have to accept that this girl is the chosen one Noriko. I am sure they already found her and are speaking to her."

Minako was walking around all of juuban looking for Samiko, wondering where she could have gone to. She was very aware Samiko goes on jogs at this time of night and should be coming back around whatever time she saw fit. She ran into Haruka and Michiru who were also looking for Samiko, she saw the concerned look on their faces

"Haruka and Michiru, are you looking for Samiko too? She ran out of crystal palace. I don't know where she could have gone. We asked what the monster wanted and Rei got into a full Hino investigation about if Samiko has feelings for akiko. I can tell she was very uncomfortable and she just ran out of the library and left the castle. This is very concerning, Rei kinda went too far. This is going to cause a rift in the friend group.

Samiko is already closed in enough as is, this will make her not associate with anyone outside or inside of the castle. Can you two think of a place where she could have gone?"

Haruka placed her finger under her chin trying to think of places as to where Samiko could have gone

"We should try the crown or the movie theater where she works, maybe we can try 's car repair shop. Those are the only places I can think of that she could have gone to. We should all check together since Michiko was the one that called us to track Samiko down and talk to her. We all have to have a talk with Rei later on when the time is right.

Samiko is a good kid, she has her priorities straight and now that she is a senshi she won't have time to have an emotional connection with anyone let alone a full relationship."

They ran to the arcade to see if Samiko was playing video games, she wasn't there, they checked the movie theater and no luck either. The final place was 's car repair shop, he told them that they haven't seen her at all. This was becoming concerning that Samiko would disappear like this. They were at a loss of words and at the end of the idea pool, they looked all over the place and couldn't find her.

Samiko was at the beach sitting on a boulder in the middle of the ocean, hugging her knees as the moon was shining brightly over her, she was hearing the sounds of the ocean crashing against the rocks.

She was thinking to herself and the negative thoughts just kept creeping in like wildfire, she shook her head

'I'll never fall in love again, my heart can't take disappointment or heartache. Why is Akiko's cousin so concerned as to who is suitable for her cousin? I have so much to do in a short amount of time, I don't see why I was given this second chance of life when it's not gonna work in my favor.

I know the events of the moon were so long ago, but they replay in my mind as if it was yesterday. I was kept from the world so I wouldn't outshine Usagi being the princess of the moon, although I am partly a moon princess, how I was treated was inexcusable. I would never take the shine away from the golden child who is neo queen serenity. I am who I am at the end of the day. I will always feel unwanted and closed off.

I didn't ask to be reborn to begin with, I have to keep akiko at arm's length at all times. We will only work on homework and school projects together. We will hang out when I have free time, as of right now my main focus is keeping crystal Tokyo safe and keeping my grades up. I will never have time to be in a relationship.

I think I will sign up for more clubs so I don't get distracted by anything else. I will see what other clubs are available to join. I can't go through another heartache, lizzie was my first true love and i can't let that go. I wonder what she's doing now. Is she ok? I feel so lost without her around, being fifteen sucks, I will be sixteen soon, I am not looking forward to it. I won't be celebrating it at all, why should i? There is nothing to celebrate. Who would want to celebrate the birthday of the child who got the moon destroyed by being born? Maybe I should move out when I am sixteen years old.

Most sixteen year olds are already living on their own, doing things on their own. I am a lone wolf without guidance and without a soul, I need to be alone. I can't live at Usagi's anymore. I just can't be there anymore knowing her royal guard has it out for me. I didn't do anything to her in the first place. I better head back to Usagi's before she sends Japan's national guard after me for being out so late.'

She stood up on the boulder, she jumped from rock to rock to land on the sand. She felt the chilly aura of the wind on the back of her neck. She could have sworn she felt eyes on her but she shook her head shaking off the feeling.

Haruka, Michiru and Minako were at the crown waiting to see if Samiko would make a quick stop to sit in the booth. They were worried something happened to her, to their luck she arrived on time unharmed.

Michiru ran up to Samiko and hugged her tightly

"Samiko, are you alright? Where on earth have you been? Why do you smell like the beach? You aren't harmed were you? Do you have any idea that it's dangerous to be outside this late?"

Samiko was very confused as to why they would be worried about her, she carefully got out of her grasp and started to cry and hyperventilate badly

"I was just gathering my thoughts, Michiru-san, as you can see i am well and unharmed. I don't understand why any of you would worry about someone like me to begin with. I am just a guest in Usagi and Mamoru's house. I am nobody special. I only live there because my parents don't want a loser like me around their perfect angels they call kids.

All I did as a child was babysit them because my parents didn't trust anyone else to do the job, I cooked them meals and made sure their homework was done on time, I took them to their sports meetings and anything they were in. I did everything that was ever asked of me, all I asked was for some privacy and for me to focus on my studies. My life didn't matter to them or anyone.

I will keep my distance from akiko if that's what her cousin wants, i will keep her at arms length. I never saw akiko as a romantic interest. We see past each other, we don't look at each other like we are a couple. We are just best friends and that's it. I don't see why I am being bothered with this in the first place. I will be too busy saving the world before bedtime and before school classes start to worry about relationships."

Michiru didn't let go of Samiko, she patted her back to calm her down

"Samiko, we expect the best out of you without pressure. We told you before you have the chance to carve out your own destiny. You don't have to follow in neo queen serenity's shoes. You both lead different lives. You were in fact the chosen one to defend crystal Tokyo, now you have help. You shouldn't keep anyone in your life at arm's length. You have best friends for a reason regardless of title and status. You have a bright future ahead of you, it's going to shine. We have total faith and confidence in you. We'll be behind you every step of the way. Now calm down, retrace your thoughts and feelings. Think of something that brings you joy."

Samiko slowly calmed down, doing what Michiru told her to do. She finally calmed down and stopped crying.

Minako looked at Samiko, bowed in respect

"I am so sorry Samiko-chan, I will talk to Rei when she returns to the shrine. She is just highly over protective, that's her mars nature. I support all relationships even if they aren't fully formed. We just want to know where you and akiko stand."

Samiko was calm enough to speak and looked at the blonde in front of her and shook her head

"Akiko and I are just best friends, we have been best friends for fifteen years. I don't see how people see us as a couple. There are certain lines that shouldn't be crossed. Best friends to lovers for us won't make sense. I see it as, it would be like rei dating Usagi if that makes sense before she married Mamoru. There would be too much conflict in the friend group if one of us starts catching feelings for the other one. I have no time for relationships. I am going to fill my time up with work and clubs after school, why not add a little more before I start high school?"

Haruka shook her head and sighed heavily

"Samiko-chan, you can't overwork yourself. You have to put your health first above everything else. We have got Rei handled. Minako is married to her after all, so Minako handles her wife. I don't want you to wind up in the hospital because of stress or anything like that. We'll take you back to Crystal Tokyo Palace, I know Usagi must be worried about you."

Samiko nodded, walking with the three back to Usagi and Mamoru's place. The three tried to keep the young girl's nerves calm while they walked, when they made it to the door, Usagi ran out pushing Mamoru out the way to hug samiko

"Samiko, are you ok? Why do you smell like the beach? You weren't hurt were you? Just on the moon's earth were you? Do you need to go to the medical center? Are you sick?" She had that classic cry baby face on when she came home from school after a failed test or she had an argument with rei.

Samiko wasn't used to being hugged by Usagi because they weren't as close as they would like to be, she was still getting used to all the love and affection she was receiving from others

"Neo Queen Serenity, I am fine and in good health. I am unharmed. I just want to go to bed. I had a day and I just needed peace and quiet. I just needed time to myself to collect my thoughts and feelings together. I will go to my room now ok? It's just been mentally draining today. I have to wake up tomorrow and face the student council for the cultural festival."

She got out of Usagi's arms and went to her room, she locked herself in and shut off her cell phone and tablet hiding under a blanket on the couch she slept on when her friends slept over for major class projects. She pretty much decided on the course of action and there will no longer be study sessions over usagi's or anything like that for a while.

Haruka and Michiru walked inside with Minako, they all sat down in the living room drinking fresh hot tea.

Minako sighed and had her head hung low

"I thought Rei would have softened up a bit since we got married. I am clearly wrong here. She really scared the hell out of samiko the way she questioned her about Akiko. Rei doesn't have to worry about a romantic relationship forming between Samiko and Akiko. Who would have thought raising our cousins would be this difficult?

Rei pretty much scared the relationship aspect out of the poor girl, she had a literal panic attack at the crown. She said that they looked past each other, not at each other. She said that they are only best friends and that's it. The way she described it as it would be like you and Rei dating before you found interest in Mamoru. It would ruin the friend group if you two dated. She also said she wouldn't have time to pursue a relationship if she was busy with saving the world before bedtime and before morning classes started."

Haruka drank some of her tea and placed the cup down

"Usagi, we'll keep closer eyes on her from now on. I didn't think I would see her have a meltdown like this. She was fine until Rei went gunho on her with questioning. We have assured her that Minako will talk to Rei when she gets home. I supposed the girls were taken home afterwards."

Usagi nodded and placed her cup down on the coaster carefully

"Yes, they all were taken home. Rei left a while ago after she acted the way she did. If akiko and samiko like each other more then friends, they should be able to go for it without Rei's psychic eye hovering over them. Samiko can't keep her friends arms length.

If she keeps her friends at arm's length, there will be a rift in the friend group. We can't have that. What if the rest of the group are her scouts, she is already panicking about Maiko being a scout and she gave her reasons as to why she didn't want any of her friends to become scouts, all her feelings are valid. She doesn't want to have friends lost in her life because the kamis are choosing the scout life for them. She looked really stressed coming back here."

Michiru looked at her queen with sincerity, she placed her tea cup down on the coaster

"I don't think Samiko-chan wants a relationship anytime soon. She explained her entire childhood to us as she had her panic attack at the crown. She said all she wanted was to be normal, she craved her privacy and wanted to focus on herself and her studies. Her parents wanted her to be a stay at home babysitter for her younger siblings, she did everything that was asked of her but it wasn't enough for them. She was treated like the black sheep of her family even though she did everything under the sun to keep her family happy. Her siblings are the golden children, the center of her parents. She wasn't treated fairly and all the responsibility was thrown on to her. We will pick up Samiko everyday after school and take her places she has never been before. I mean if that's ok with you."

Usagi nodded and munched on a cookie from the kitchen

"I am fine with anything at the moment, it seems to me she trusts you two a lot more than me. I hope I can get close to her. I want to have a close sibling-like relationship with her, I want her to trust me with anything going on in her life." They continued to speak to one another while eating cookies and drinking tea.

Somewhere in the darker parts of the universe, Queen Masami was highly disappointed in Arata in how he handled the two scouts in crystal Tokyo.

She conjured a dark like whip and was hitting him for failing, she yelled at him about how he failed to get rid of those two pesky scouts, after she finished she went back to her throne to make more plans to find this crystal.

Iawo stepped forward with his arm against his chest and was on one knee

"Queen Masami, send me to earth and I will gather more information about this crystal. I will also sap all the energy from the earthlings so they can spill this information about where the crystal is hidden. I can guarantee you that one of those earthlings knows something. I will not lack for not, I will not fail in this mission."

Queen Masami smirked and staring into her orb on her staff

"I will trust you for now Iawo, but if you come back empty handed you will suffer more than Arata did. I will feed you to the darkness of the jungle."

Iawo chuckled evilly and had his eyes closed

"I promise you my queen, I will not fail this mission. I can promise you the crystal and more." His body disappeared into the darkness only showing his red eyes in the background…
