this is a story of a girl, who is related to neo queen serenity and Hotaru tomoe. Her name is Samiko Serenity Tsukino-tomoe. she is the last of the bloodline of both kingdoms. her story starts in the moon kingdom where she grew up abused and tortured from the moon kingdom. she died on the eve of her 14th birthday during a war and her aunt was possessed by an evil entity.

7. Iawo's attack, enter Sailor Aqua

Vo: It was a chilly November day, with Samiko's birthday creeping up on her like wildfire, she decided to take it easy for a while. The holidays are approaching after her birthday as well. She had gotten a call from that her car was finally ready, she could pick it up anytime she wanted, she confirmed she would pick it up on that Saturday of her unmentionable birthday. The plans for the unmentionable day are just her driving up the coast of the beach and renting out a room for a few hours to get away from the city. She really hoped nobody asked her what she wanted to do for her day, knowing her cousin would want to throw a huge party to celebrate the big sixteen, she would kindly decline because she doesn't like the attention on her that much. One party was enough for the year.

Once she hung up the phone with , she was preparing for the day. She answered all the emails from the student council for the festival. She went to the kitchen to make a bowl of honey nut cheerios for breakfast. She was reading a book of higher sciences. Usagi and Mamoru walked in to get some breakfast, they saw samiko with her head first in her book and eating carefully.

Mamoru carefully took away the book and placed a piece of paper inside of the book, he needed Samiko's attention for a moment "Samiko, can I ask you one simple question? I will let you go back to your book peacefully."

Samiko looked up at Mamoru with a confused look on her face, she dropped sweat from the side of her temple "King Endymion, it must be an important one. I was only on the last page before the book was taken from my sight of vision."

Mamoru looked at her directly in the eyes "Samiko, is it your birthday this weekend? If so, why didn't you inform us about it?"

Samiko was sweating as if she was in a sauna and she pulled her shirt collar to air out her neck "I have a perfectly good explanation for not saying anything, I normally don't celebrate it. I see no point in doing so when I am closer to death. Why celebrate life when you know you aren't longed for an enriched longevity of life? I do have plans for the afternoon of my birthday. I am picking up my car from and going to drive around for a few hours and then come home. I should be home before midnight. Also, you actually asked me two questions, not one."

Mamoru was concerned about Samiko's answer, he sighed and gave her the book back so she could finish it before she leaves for her morning classes. The castle camera rang and it was Samiko's friends at the door waiting for her so they could walk to school.

Samiko washed her cereal bowl and placed it in the dishwasher for further washing. She grabbed her backpack and put on her white shoes. The group walked to school, samiko was behind them reading a book quietly. She was specifically trying to avoid akiko and keep her at arms length because of what happened yesterday. She didn't want to tell akiko anything because it wasn't her place to make her worry. The last thing she wanted to do was make akiko worry and having her cousin breathing down her neck for no reason, she continued to read her book and minded her own business.

Maiko was already seeing a shift in the friend group, she knew that Samiko was doing this for akiko's own good and benefit. She decided to change the flow of the group and went to samiko's side "Samiko, what are you doing this weekend? It is the big day after all. Any special plans?"

Samiko glared at Maiko, closing her book and placing it in her backpack "I am not celebrating my birthday if that's what you are referring to. I already have plans for that unbearable day. I plan to pick up my car and drive around for a few hours and rent a room by the beach or something like that. I will return home before midnight or I might stay the entire night. I have no definite thing going on Saturday. I need to decompress and figure things out."

Maiko sighed and rolled her eyes "Samiko, what more do you need to figure out? Lately you have been giving answers that don't make sense, it is almost as if you are programmed to give the answers everyone wants to hear. Where is the honest and pure answer that we would normally hear from you, not some robot answering machine? Last time I checked you weren't created in a lab somewhere to fulfill people's needs and wants. You are a normal girl with feelings, if you have things on your mind please share it with us, we will try to help you. Is this about what happened yesterday with rei? If so Minako already spoke to Rei and she will leave you alone and not question you with personal things anymore."

Akiko stopped everyone in their tracks causing everyone to fall on top of one another "What happened yesterday? What was Rei questioning Samiko about? Is that why she ran out of crystal Tokyo palace so fast?"

Maiko helped everyone up and dusted them off carefully "Rei was concerned and she questioned Sammi about you two and your behavior as of late. We all wanna know what's happening with you and Samiko. Is there seriously something going on between you two and you aren't telling us?"

Akiko sighed and shook her head putting her hands up "There is nothing going on with Samiko and I, we are two best friends. I am her emotional support miko in training. There is nothing wrong with two best friends having deep and meaningful conversations. I am helping Samiko navigate through her emotions and trying to help her process them. Whoever told rei there is something more going on was dead wrong. Rei doesn't have to worry, I am not emotionally mature to handle a relationship yet. I am only fifteen years old and I have a lot of time before I start dating. School and my shrine duties are important. We all help Samiko in our own ways don't we? Amaterasu gives Samiko morning snack and gives her encouragement, Midori helps Samiko navigate through different types of interests when it comes to books, maiko you raid her closet to make sure she is in the latest trends of the newest fashion which she is, than there is me who helps her with all her emotions and help her mature into the capable adult we all know she can be. Samiko has told us before she has shut out her heart when it comes to dating, she is focused on college and other important things. Wherever life leads her, we will be there every step of the way."

Maiko wiggled her eyebrows in confusion "Are you sure nothing is going on with-"

Akiko got angry and her eyebrows twitched in frustration after cutting Maiko off "I can promise you nothing is going on with me and Samiko, even if there was it would be nobody's business anyways. Who I date shouldn't affect the friend group. We are a tight knit group of friends, we will always be a tight knit group of friends. We are going to drop the subject right now, if you hadn't noticed Phobos and Deimos are following us making sure we are heading to school. We should hurry up before the bell rings and we miss the first class of the day."

They all ran toward juuban junior high, making it just in time for roll call. The teacher came in calling all the names of the students, and they went on to the lesson of the day. The lesson was just review courses after review courses, they did very well on the exams, so going over material was normal. The bell rang indicating that it was free period hour and they could do as they wished. The girls decided to stop by their lockers to put their books away for the time being, when samiko opened her locker, a bunch of love cards fell out of it.

The girls looked at Samiko with a very confused look on their faces before heading up to the roof of silence, Maiko helped pick up the cards with a smirk "Samiko, I didn't know you were this popular with people. What are you going to do with all these cards? Are you going to respond to any of them?"

Samiko looked making sure nobody else was around, she took out a big black garbage bag "I am not going to respond to any of these. I want this mess cleaned up. I don't have time for this nonsense. We are going to get rid of these cards before the principal catches a heart attack. I am not that popular, I am just me at the end of the day. I am stubborn and hardheaded and decided to have a finer education. Let's all clean this up ok?"

They all cleaned up the mess that was made and when it was done, they went to the back of the school to throw it out in the dumpster, they finally made it up to the roof after their trash duty. Samiko set up the large blanket for them and they all laid down, she stared at the moving clouds, they moved so slowly it made her fall asleep.

Maiko saw how tired Samiko was and decided to leave her alone. She finally realized that there was nothing going on with akiko and Samiko. She didn't want a rift in their tight knit group of friends, the way samiko was acting by keeping her distance by walking behind them, she knew that she was doing it because of rei after what happened yesterday. Samiko woke up from a nightmare but didn't scream. She scared her friends by the way she woke up, she finally calmed down and continued to stare at the sky without saying anything.

Midori was reading a romcom book, this was different for her because she was normally reading a medical or science book, she was enjoying the book so much that she couldn't wait for the rest of the series to be released, she looked over to Samiko who was lost in space at the moment, she decided to snap her best friend out of her thoughts "Samiko, you scared us after you woke up. Did you have a nightmare? Is it the same nightmare?"

Samiko looked at her and shook her head, she rubbed the back of her neck "I just haven't been sleeping well is all. I don't sleep on my bed at all, I sleep on the couch in my room because I am too tired to even make it to my bed. I also think it's time we stop the studying sessions at Usagi's castle. We can still have them but through video conferences. I don't think it's a good idea for any of you to come over anymore. If the elder scouts are constantly going to be around, it's better we all go to our own homes for the time being. I personally wouldn't feel safe at usagi's if rei was there giving snide remarks or questioning me for every little thing. I will fill up my time with other club activities and such, before we start high school I need to see what clubs are available for me to join. I will still manage to keep with my two jobs and student council meetings. I have already applied to the top colleges early, but right now I think it's best that we go home after school."

Amaterasu blinked in confusion but understood Samiko's position on the matter "Samiko, it's ok to feel the way you do. Rei-san does have that hino glare on all the time, honestly i don't know how Minako-san deals with it. Akiko and Maiko are both being raised by them, they are used to it. I finally understand why you don't want all the attention on you and why you want to fade away from existence. We'll respect your privacy and whatever choice you make from now on. Is this another reason why you want to move out of Usagi's castle?"

Samiko nodded to confirm what Amaterasu asked "Ama-chan, yes it is. If I move out of Crystal Tokyo palace, I won't be a burden on Usagi or Mamoru. The moment I turn sixteen I should have my own place. I need to be away from the pressures or living in their shadows. I know Haruka-san and Michiru-san are looking out for me but the fact of the matter is that I feel suffocated living there. I live a different life than Usagi and Mamoru. I just want to be me, whoever that is. I need to find out who I really am without having royal duties attached to it. Chibiusa said i have to get used to receiving all the love and affection, she also said I have to get used to all the attention I will possibly receive from the press. The party was enough attention, I just want peace and quiet for the rest of my time. I hope I find an apartment soon so that I can finally move out."

Maiko blinked and sighed "Samiko, I said Minako already spoke to Rei about it. She isn't going to bother you or question you again. We all get it, you and kiko aren't a couple. I know I poke fun with you two too much, but moving out of Usagi's house isn't a good idea. You are still a child with no guidance. Do you think you can handle an apartment on your own?"

Samiko glared at Maiko and cracked her neck a bit "If I can handle raising and nurturing seven siblings who are considered golden children while managing to keep my own grades up, I can sure as hell handle an apartment of my own. I don't see what is the big deal, most teenagers started living on their own by fourteen, nobody doubts anything if a fourteen year old lives on their own."

Midori got in between Samiko and Maiko , she sighed "Maiko, we need to give her our support. If she wants to be on her own, she can be. She made good points. Samiko's maturity level is beyond her years. We all come from high class families who were the greatest heroes of all time. It's just Samiko has a lot to deal with and it's probably taking a toll on her because she is neo queen serenity's cousin, being the queen's cousin is no cake walk, look at us, we are all princesses of our ruling planets while our cousins are queens of theirs, they still have royal duties to protect the king and queen. We shouldn't give Samiko a hard time in what she decides to do, it is her life and we should accept what she wants to do with it. We are her best friends and whatever she decides to do, we stand behind her without any judgment."

Maiko sighed and gave in, shaking her head "Midori, you are right. We should support Samiko's choices even though we don't agree with it. I just don't want her to rush into anything she isn't ready for. She turns sixteen on Saturday, she should be celebrating with us instead of running off into the wilderness to be one with nature and figuring out her life. She has nothing to figure out, she has a pretty sweet life. She has great grades, good social standings in school, is working two jobs and manages school meetings. She has it easy."

The door to the roof opened, it was one of the senior girls looking for Samiko to ask her a question. Samiko went to the door and answered the questions from the senior girl. After she spoke to the girl, she went back to the blanket to relax the rest of the two periods.

Maiko looked at the clouds that was moving slowly "Samiko, what type of place are you looking for?"

Samiko was staring at the clouds trying to figure out why they are the shape they are "I am just looking for a place to call my own, something like I said before that has samiko written all over it. I don't always want to be dependent on Usagi and Mamoru for every little thing. I am almost sixteen years old, practically an adult. I can basically survive on my own without problems. I am not some wild party animal, I can be trusted to be alone. I am the responsible teenager that basically doesn't go looking for trouble. I am ready for that step. I wanna be on my own already, i would have been but you know the whole moving into crystal Tokyo palace prevented my move."

Maiko blinked "Samiko, I understand you wanting to be independent and on your own. You should wait a little bit before making that choice. I know it's hard for you to trust adults you barely know, but Usagi is your flesh and blood. You need to give her a chance and not stress her out half the time. We all want you to have some type of open communication with Usagi. You two are almost similar. You have us and we depend on you to be brave and smart with your choices. We will always be around for you. Usagi and Mamoru must have flipped out when they found out that your birthday was this weekend."

Samiko sighed and placed her arms behind her head staring up at the sky "Mai-chan, it was quite the different reaction. They asked me if my birthday was this weekend and if I had plans. I answered to the best of my abilities, they didn't understand why I didn't want to celebrate it but they backed off as soon as they heard my plans for the dreadful day. I simply told them I will be back before midnight. The day of my birth shouldn't be celebrated at all. If my birthday is celebrated there will be nothing but chaos for Crystal Tokyo. I don't want to be held responsible for the downfall of Crystal Tokyo. I am surprised I made it this far of surviving. I survived for not being stupid, minding my own business and pretending I don't exist at all."

Amaterasu sighed and nudged Maiko to keep her mouth shut "Mai-chan, however Samiko chooses to celebrate her birthday, we should accept it. We have to trust that she will come back before midnight. We can't force her to celebrate her birthday with us, she will be fine. We have to trust her with this choice. We are her best friends, we have to support her choices no matter what. We should change the subject because Samiko is getting annoyed. We don't need her to run off again because of the questioning. Rei questioned her enough, Samiko is suffering from war flashbacks because her eye and eyebrow is twitching wildly."

Midori looked at Samiko with a concerned look on face "Samiko, how are you dealing with the nightmares as of late? Are they getting worse or better?"

Samiko sat up quickly and shook her head "Mi-chan, my nightmares are getting worse by the day. I was warned not to celebrate my birthday. My birthday being celebrated wouldn't be a good idea for Crystal Tokyo. If my birthday were to be celebrated the city of Crystal Tokyo will be no more and I will be the one to take the blame if the kingdom falls. I felt so uncomfortable even at the welcoming party at the castle. I was on extra high alert that night. I just didn't want it to be held over my head if i didn't celebrate being welcomed into crystal Tokyo palace. I was ready to run but I didn't. I had to suck it up. I enjoyed myself for the most part. The night ended on a high note, I just really wanted to sleep because I was so exhausted from everything." They just spoke about anything that came to mind and that's how it was for three free periods.

Somewhere in the darkest parts of the universe, Queen Masami was looking through her orb seeing crystal Tokyo thrive and without panic. She wanted to find the crystal that rivals neo queen serenity's crystal so badly because she wants to bring crystal Tokyo to its knees and cause world wide destruction.

Iawo came in front of his queen with his arm against his chest "Queen Masami, the energy we have collected from earth is far more than what we expected. What are your plans for this crystal that you seek?"

Queen Masami smirked and kept staring into her orb "Iawo, my plan for that crystal is to destroy crystal Tokyo and everyone in it. I will rule this planet and the dead along with it. I will be the queen everyone fears and that will cater to my every need. I have bigger plans for Crystal Tokyo. The crystals that surround Tokyo will show my face all over to insert my powers and control over japan. I will promise you that nobody will stop us from destroying the planet. Iawo go enjoy causing panic in crystal Tokyo. I want you to drain the life force out of every human possible and find me that crystal. If we find the crystal, we will have unlimited power for the rest of our lives!"

Iawo smirked and stood up looking at his queen "My Queen, I live to serve you. Crystal Tokyo will fall by our hands and we will get that crystal!" He disappeared into crystal Tokyo to cause as much panic and terror as he could. The school day ended in juuban, Samiko started sneezing as if something terrible was going to happen. She looked at the girls, they knew what that meant. They ran to the castle, minus Maiko who stood behind with Samiko. They both transformed into their senshi forms quickly. They hid in a back alley waiting for the villains to show up.

Samiko looked at Maiko who was on the side of her "Mai-chan, I want to apologize for my behavior earlier. I am just under a stressful amount of stress. It's not easy being a senshi and a student. I seriously didn't want this life for you or anyone else. I didn't want any of us to follow in our cousin's footsteps. I wanted us to have a normal teen life, filled with happy and carefree memories. This is adding more stress to us then what we would have liked. They had it easy in their golden prime era. We have it tougher because of who we are and who we are related to. I told you all before that I didn't want this life, I didn't want to be a senshi. I sometimes feel like I am not worthy of even having a title or being a leader of a team. I don't even know who i am anymore, am i Samiko or am i Sailor angel moon? I can't really separate the two can i? I am having a whole identity crisis right now and the battle hasn't even started yet."

Maiko was leaning up against the wall with her arms crossed and her heel against it "Samiko, this isn't the time for an identity crisis! You are both senshi and yourself. Two sides of the same coin. You are headstrong and stubborn. You are highly protective of your friends, still working on your own family issues as you continue to be under neo queen serenity's care. I get it, but don't think it's easy for the rest of us. We have it twice as hard because of who our cousins are. We have harder shoes to fill then you do. We also face the same pressures as you. I want you to snap out of this identity crisis and let's defeat the villain or monster that's attacking the city."

Back at the castle, everyone was watching the entire thing from the library. Usagi was wondering why Samiko was having a full on identity crisis in the middle of the city she had to protect, Mamoru had to remind Usagi that Samiko was still getting used to this and that it's ok to be normal with her identity crisis, he also reminded her that she had a few of her own back in the day and this was a way to release her panicking before fighting villains. They gave Samiko the time to process her emotions and come to a clear understanding with things that aren't in her control.

Ami snuck out of the room, and headed to Samiko's room where the girls were. She didn't want this day to come but Midiori's time had come to become a senshi. She was listening outside the door before entering. She decided long ago what Midori's senshi name was going to be. She chose Sailor Aqua. It was short for Aquamarine. Maiko was named after Venus's attack Love me chain, so the elder senshi god had to get super creative with the name. Aquamarine after her favorite movie. She'll be called Sailor aqua for short. She knocked on the door. She waited before anyone answered.

The girls were in Samiko's room waiting for the city to be safe so they could come back out. They wondered why Maiko stood behind with Samiko during a time of chaos. What could the two be doing that they didn't run towards the castle, they thought they were crazy to stay out when the city was under attack.

Midori opened the door and let her cousin in quickly "Ami-san, what's going on? Why is crystal Tokyo being attacked? Where are Maiko and Samiko? Why are they still outside when the city is under panic and stress?"

Ami looked at her cousin and patted her head softly "I am sure Maiko and Samiko are alright. They know better than to interfere with things that don't concern them. I need to speak with you in private for a while. I have something to explain to you. Follow me to a quiet room so we can talk for a bit."

Midori followed Ami to a quiet room so they could talk about what was happening. Ami sat down on a chair wondering how to explain things to midori and how would she react to it, she calmed down as a doctor does and gave Midori a transformation pen and along with a brooch "Midori, it is time to take your place in the senshi household of Mizuno and Kino. We didn't have any conversations about you becoming a senshi at all. We all wanted you guys to live a normal life and be great at whatever you decided to be. I wasn't prepared for you to go along this route of destiny. We have to now accept we will be in charge of your training when it comes to developing your powers and strengths. We both know Akiko and Amaterasu will be the final two scouts to appear. We just don't know the order.

You must join angel moon and Love me chain in battle, your name is Sailor aqua. Short for Aquamarine. I named you after my favorite teen water movie. I want you to say, Crystal Aqua Make Up to transform into your senshi form. We'll keep akiko and Amaterasu distracted for now. I do know this, Samiko will be your princess, she is your main focus of protection. I know she won't ask for it because she is stubborn and hardheaded. She is different from Usagi. She will lead you guys into greatness. We expect you all to guide her in your own ways, give her advice even if she doesn't ask for it. You have a strong leader on your hands. We cherish Usagi not just because she is our queen but she is our best friend first."

Midori stared at Ami and nodded taking the transformation pen, she threw it up in the air yelling "CRYSTAL AQUA MAKE…UP!" She transformed into her scout form. She wore green sailor fuku with some silverish gray bows attached to it, her heart pendant was in the middle of it.

She hopped out the window without being seen and ran towards where the chaos was happening. She saw angel moon and love me chain in a bind, she had to come up with a clever way to stop the monster. She listened to her heart and her mind. She ran and jumped up in the air landing on her feet yelling "CRYSTAL AQUA WAVE! The entire ground was surrounded by water, and the monster was injured. Sailor love me chain got up and yelled "Now angel moon, deliver the final blow!"

Angel moon got up, cracking her entire body. She didn't have enough time to do her hero speech introduction. She ran up to the monster using her halo to purify the monster "HALO OF TRUTH! The monster was encased in the halo and it slowly disappeared into dust.

Midori ran up to her best friends who were shocked to see her there, she hugged them both "I believe we all know what is going to happen here. Ami explained half of everything but I am not to reveal much. We have to let nature take its course. I know Samiko is going to get annoyed with us two getting becoming scouts and she worked so hard to prevent such a life for us. We have to accept that we are following in our cousin's footsteps and we have huge heels to fill."

Samiko made the weirdest of faces, it was between concern and bothersome, her eyebrows did twitch but she never took her anger out on her friends when she was dealing with her own personal demons at the moment. She had to accept the fact Midori and Maiko were scouts, they were part of her team and she had to accept it as well. She got out of the hugs and looked at Midori with a concerned face and folded her arms "What's your senshi name? I hope it fits your personality. Welcome to the team Mii-chan."

Midori smiled and understood Samiko's concern "I am sailor Aqua, short for Aquamarine. I was named after the elder Mizuno's favorite teen water movie. We are going to work as a team and figure out why the city keeps getting attacked. Angel moon, do you have any idea as to why the city keeps getting attacked?"

Angel moon had her arms folded and sighed "The villains are very stupid. They are being led on a wild goose chase for a crystal that rival's Neo Queen Serenity's crystal. I highly doubt there is such a crystal that has double the power of neo queen serenity's crystal. My cousin's crystal is heavily guarded and is considered the life source of this world. There should never ever be another crystal like hers out in the world."

Iawo appeared out of the sky with his voice booming "There are more of you, I see. This is a problem indeed. Arata was right. He should have destroyed the first two and we wouldn't be in this mess. My queen is going to be very very harsh with me if you three aren't rid of. I want that damn crystal. I will destroy this entire planet if I need to hunt that crystal down."

Angel moon put her friends in a barrier beyond her halo that rests on top of her head "I want you two to stay behind that barrier, I don't want Minako or Rei or Ami-chan to come after me if you guys get hurt because of my poor leadership skills. I wanna know just who the hell are you, why are you attacking a city for a crystal that probably doesn't exist. Your leader is as dumb as a sack of rocks.

Whoever told her that crystal exists, they lied to her and are leading you all on a wild goose chase for no good reason. I wouldn't take my suggestion lightly. I want you to pack up and leave or that pretty face of yours will feel the wrath of my fists knocking you out."

Iawo's face blushes several shades of pink, but he shook his head "My face may be pretty, but I can be petty as well. My name is Iawo. I am second in command of my dark queen's army. We'll return cupcake." He disappeared in a cloud of red smoke laughing. Angel Moon snapped her fingers letting her friends out of her halo barrier. They ran to her and hugged her tightly, they got out of their senshi uniforms going back to the castle.

Ami was back in the library with Usagi and the others smiling, they were proud of the new group of senshi forming in front of them. They were concerned but nevertheless proud. Once the girls returned home, Samiko had a cake in her hand because they had stopped by a cake shop on the way home to distract their friends from asking too many questions as to what happened outside.

They ate the cake and relaxed for a while watching tv. Samiko was reading a book on the couch while her friends stayed on her oversized bed. The book was interesting and it kept her busy, it was one of the romance detective books. There is a twist to it though, the main character is a wolf and his partner is vampire, in her mind Vampires and wolves are creatures of the night but are mortal enemies. They wind up falling in love which was taboo on both sides.

Somewhere in the darker parts of the universe, Queen Masami wasn't thrilled with the information she had received from Iwao.

Queen Masami sat on her throne looking at crystal Tokyo thriving and it made her ever so angry "I seriously hate angel moon and everything she stands for. She has a smart ass mouth for no reason! I want to personally strangle her until she can't breathe anymore. How dare she call me stupid?! I have never met someone of the queen's line have such a tongue on her!"

Iwao was bowing in front of his queen with a nervous face "This angel moon, she has a mouth on her and it should be shut permanently. Tomorrow is another day though. We will succeed in finding that crystal for you my queen." His eyes were the only thing that were seen in the shadows, his bright red eyes…
