Authors note: It took me a bit longer to upload this chapter then the previous few, I'm sorry if some people were waiting! This is my first story ever and I very much enjoy writing it (but very much new to the process). I'm writing the story I wished for Snape to have after the series ended. It will take me a while to get to him, because I like to first write a bit more about Anna and Conny. I will probably upload irregularly, because I'm writing this as a hobby and whenever I feel like it. That means sometimes I won't upload in a while and other times I will have more past time, so I will write bigger chunks in one go. So no regular upload schedule from me unfortunately.
I also changed a little bit in chapter three. In the previous version, Conny started working at the ministry when Voldemort was still in power. I didn't think she would do that, so I changed the years she worked there a little.
Lastly, I want to thank you for reading this story! I was so excited to see that people are actually reading this, which makes writing this even more fun for me, knowing that I'm not just writing it for myself.

Conny looked at Anna while she wiped away her tears. She pitied the poor girl. To lose almost everyone in your life while you were creating a new life must be terrifying. Conny hesitantly stood up to give Anna a hug; she didn't know if Anna would want a hug, but Anna already stood up and put her arms around Conny. With her head bent over on Conny's shoulder, tears welled up in her eyes again. 'Thank you for listening to my story', Anna cried. 'I'm so so happy that I met you.' Conny was happy she met Anna too. Even though Anna was ill, she enjoyed having her around and she enjoyed taking care of her. 'You're welcome to stay as long as you want', responded Conny. 'If you're planning to stay in the UK, we have to get a few things arranged via the proper channels.' The rest of the day, they spend calling around to make sure it was legal for Anna to live in the UK. Anna also called her doctor to ask for her file so she could transfer to a doctor in London. She even wrote her parents to let them know where she was staying and to ask them to keep in touch. She also wrote the parents of Jolanda and Bianca, so they could tell her friends her new adres and phone number.
A week later, almost everything was taken care of. Anna only needed the file from her doctor so she could visit one her in the UK. Conny already recommended one that lived in her building. Conny was happy to see that Anna looked a lot better then when she first arrived in London. Today, Anna seemed even more relieved; yesterday she was able to call with her friends and she told them the whole story. Conny spoke to them a little bit as well, to reassure them she would be taking care of their friend.
Even though Conny asked several times if she needed to empty Anna's car, Anna wouldn't hear of it. On the phone with Jolanda and Bianca, Jolanda told her that Anna was very independent and probably hadn't accepted that she needed help. Both Anna's friends assured Conny that Anna felt very much at home at her apartment.
This morning, Conny walked up to the apartment with some groceries and the mail. She put the mail on the counter and Anna started sorting through it. 'Oh, my file from the doctor arrived,' she said happily, 'maybe I can make an appointment today!' She barely finished her sentence when her face suddenly became full of sadness. Tears welled up in her eyes. She showed Conny a letter with her handwriting, the letter she send to her parents. On it was written 'return to sender' in both Dutch and English. Conny saw that the envelope was opened and then taped closed again. Anna's parents did read her letter, but still chose to ignore their daughter and completely cut her out of their lives. Anna started crying, Conny tried to console her, but it seemed like the severity of Anna's situation started to rush back to her really fast. 'I don't have anyone anymore,' Anna cried out. ' No friends, no family, no house, no job. How am I supposed to take care of a baby?' She started sobbing uncontrollably. 'I know Anna', responded Conny, 'it must be so difficult for you right now. However, I can be your friend and you can live here for as long as you want.' 'I just couldn't,' said Anna, 'it's just too much to ask.' 'You're not asking Anna, I'm offering.' 'But what if you get fed up with me? And what will we do when the baby arrives?' 'I don't think I would want to get rid of you Anna, and I love babies, so you BOTH can live here. But if you're worried about that, we can both agree that you can live here for at least a year from now on. That will give you some time to rest, settle and experience becoming a mom without the stress of looking for a job. You don't have to pay me rent, I've made plenty of money back in the day and I come from a rich family. To be honest, I only work because I want to, not because I need to. After a year, we will both reevaluate the situation and if I decide I want the place back to myself again, I will give you six months to leave. So you can live here for at least a year and a half. You can, of course, leave whenever you feel like. You think you can live with that?' 'I would love to live here,' responded Anna. I really like living with you and your place is beautiful. I just feel like I would take so much from you.' 'You don't Anna, I think I only gained a wonderful friendship from you.'
The last days of her holiday, Conny spend helping Anna set up her room. They went furniture shopping and unloaded Anna's car. Anna even bought a few decor pieces to make the room more personal for her. Anna wanted to pay for everything; she was able to save a lot working a fulltime job and still living with her parents. However, when Anna got excited over a crib she saw, Conny gifted it to her. She almost felt like a soon to be grandmother, excited for her first grandchild to be born. On the last day of Conny's holiday, the doctor from her building visited and told Anna that she had a healthy pregnancy. She however should avoid stress, try to eat healthy and she could benefit from some light exercise. Those were some basic things you could do to have a healthy pregnancy, he told them.
Anna took his advice to heart and when Conny went back to work, they both developed a nice routine. In the morning, Conny made a healthy breakfast for her and Anna. She also prepared some healthy snacks and a salad for the both of them to eat during the day. If needed, she made a grocery list so Anna could do some shopping. She then woke up Anna if she was still sleeping, so they could eat breakfast together. Conny then left for work. When Conny left, Anna would clean the kitchen and swim some laps in the pool of the building. If she felt good that day, she even spend a little time in the gym. After that, she got herself ready for the day. The rest of the morning, she played some music or read a little. After lunch, she took a nap. She started the afternoons with household chores or grocery shopping. Then again some leisure time before she started cooking. When Conny came home, she had dinner ready and they would eat together and talk about their day. Conny of course couldn't go into specifics and let Anna believe she had a low entry job at the government but that she however, was dealing with sensitive information that couldn't be shared with the public. Anna was curious of course, but respected that Conny couldn't tell much. After dinner they would spend some time together talking, playing a game or Anna would play some music for Conny, which she very much enjoyed. In the weekends, Conny would visit her friends while Anna either roamed the city or went along with her. Sometimes they went out together. The next two months flew by and the two women really enjoyed their company and their daily lives together.
At the end of june, however, Conny's world would turn upside down when she received a letter from her friend Minerva McGonagall. He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named had returned.
