The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, the 36 contestants from the Ridiculous race, came to America for a shot at another million dollars." "They are all competing across the country, and this time it's against their former teammate." "Some view it as a friendly competition against their best friend, some don't like the idea of going against each other, and some are only focused on first place." "50 challenges, 36 contestants, 12 chase contenders, one champion." "Who will be the first one to win a challenge?" "Find out right now on, the race around the states."
Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.
The camera then cuts to Don and all of the contestants, back at the bottom of the Grand Canyon. "Okay people, we're starting off with a bang" said Don. "Your first task could take roughly 7-8 hours." "What you need to do, is climb to the top of the Grand Canyon." "The first one to reach the top, gets a sweet reward." "And for those of you at home who are wondering how we even got down here, what do you think the helicopter is for?"
All of the contestants were lined up at the starting line, as Don was climbing back into the helicopter. "Okay contestants, the race around the states is about to be underway" said Don. "3...2...1...GOOOOO!" Everybody then took off.
With so many different ways to get to the top, several contestants branched off to different paths. Chet was on the same trail as Jacques and Stephanie. Jacques ran right up to Stephanie, and elbowed her out of the way. "If only your precious boyfriend was here to save you" said Jacques. Stephanie retaliated and elbowed Jacques. "I can't believe you still feel the need to cheat, even without Josee's orders" said Stephanie. "Don never said intentional contact was against the rules" said Jacques. "He never said unhooking half the train was against the rules, and you still got a 1 hour penalty" said Chet. "Why the hell am I any of your concern?" asked Jacques. "Don't you have a stepbrother to worry about?"
(Confession cam- Cheater cheater, pumpkin eater)
Chet- "Lorenzo said he was taking a faster way to the top." "We might not hate each other anymore, but that doesn't mean I agree with his sense of direction." "So I took a different path than him."

Emma, Mary, and Ryan were all in one group. "Ryan, I feel as though you and Stephanie are in a toxic relationship" said Mary. "That was back when she was pushy and aggressive, we've moved passed that" said Ryan. "My relationship is complicated" said Emma. "I really love Noah, but I don't want him to be a distraction." "There are things more important than winning" said Mary. "What about Kitty?" "She's your flesh and blood." "I Highly doubt you want to put winning before your sister"

Emma- "Okay, as a sign of thoughtfulness, when I win, i'm splitting the money with Kitty 50/50."

Tom was on the same trail as Miles and Rock. "You have got to hook me up with a pair of those peace sign earrings, they need to start trending" said Tom. "These aren't too hard to find, i'm pretty sure you could get them for 5 dollars in a Walmart" said Miles. "I don't like the idea of piercings, sounds pretty painful to get poked in the ears with sharp needles" said Rock. "If you think that is painful, then don't even think about getting a tattoo" said Miles.

Miles- "Funny story actually, my grandfather actually has a back tattoo of a Ford peeing on a Chevrolet." "Oh God, I just realized that i'm on camera, I should not have said that"

Jen was actually on the same trail as Dwayne. "I haven't told you this yet, but i'm sorry for throwing a carpet at you in Morocco" said Jen. "Oh that's okay, I think it's actually funny looking back on it" said Dwayne. "At least the carpet didn't cause any permanent scars, Damn Loki."
(Confession cam- At least Junior wasn't attacked by a Belgian Hare)
Dwayne- "Shortly after my son was discharged, we went to the pet store to get some dog food." "There were 2 rabbits in one cage, making love to each other." "He wasn't supposed to get the talk until he was 15." Add in the fact that a rabbit almost killed him, I think I have every right to dislike the creature."

Lorenzo was on a trail with Devin and Laurie. "I don't feel comfortable doing this, I don't want to fall off another cliff" said Devin. "It should have been me that fell off the cliff" said Laurie. "I'm the one who caused a serious injury." "Oh for crying out loud, if the karma jinx actually worked, it would have been the father instead of the son" said Lorenzo.
(Confession cam- Yes, I do believe in karma)
Laurie- "Wait a minute, if it was actually Dwane Senior instead of Junior that I jinxed, that means Dwayne Senior is going to get hurt." "Oh God, I think I may have just killed him."

Junior was on the same trail as Spud and Josee. "Junior, what the heck are you doing here?" "I thought you were in the hospital" said Spud. "I got discharged months ago" said Junior. "I'm glad you made a full recovery" said Josee. "Since when do you care about others"? asked Junior. "While I acknowledge that I have done some questionable things, I'm not insane to the point where I want to see somebody get hurt" said Josee." "HOW DUMB DO YOU THINK I AM!?" "YOU TRIED TO RUN OVER MY DAD!" shouted Junior. "IF YOU TRY TO HURT MY FAMILY EVER AGAIN, YOU'RE GOING TO DROP OUT OF THE COMPETITION DUE TO INJURY!"
(Confession cam- Holy shit, this story got dark)
Junior- "That wasn't a joke, I meant it." "If she and Jacques try to pull another stunt like that, they'll be in the hospital with concussions."

Kitty was walking on the same trail as Mickey and Crimson. Crimson was looking emotionless, as usual. "Crimson I need to ask you something" said Mickey. "How come you and Ennui are never scared of anything?" "We're actually terrified on the inside, we're just not really into showing emotion" said Crimson. "But you can be scared and still be brave." "Listen Mickey, you and Jay are a lot stronger than you think you are" said Kitty. "As long as you keep thinking positive, good things will happen." "No matter how bad things seem, there is always a silver lining" said Crimson.
(Confession cam- Now i'm starting to get teary eyed)
Kitty- "I still feel really bad about sabotaging the adversity twins last season." "I want them to actually have a fair shot this time."

Ellody was on the same trail as Gerry and Carrie. "Say Ellody, what are the chances of one contestant winning all 50 challenges?" asked Gerry. "The possibility of one of us winning ever single challenge is approximately 99473514364737483758468464839018 to 1" said Ellody. "How did you think of an answer that fast?" asked Carrie. "It's not difficult when you look at everyone's strengths and weaknesses, and the different culture of each of the united states" said Ellody.

Gerry- "So Basically, the same odds of a male having a period."

Ennui was on a trail with the reality tv pros. "I envy you Ennui, you have something that i'll never have, a stable relationship" said Noah. "I'm pretty sure Emma has a spot for you deep down" said Ennui. "Like how I have a soft spot for cheese" said Owen. "How can you think about food at a time like this?" asked Ennui. "I practice" said Owen.

Noah- "Lord, I pray that me and Emma never break up."

Jay was on the same trail as Leonard and Sanders. By this point, the sun was starting to go down. "Listen Sanders, I don't hate MacArthur, but I value my life" said Jay. "Are you scared of her because of the arm breaking incident?" asked Sanders. Jay timidly nodded his head. "She means no harm, she's actually matured quite a lot since last season ended" said Sanders. "And if she does break your arm, I can fix it with magic" said Leonard. "You tried to heal Junior, and failed miserably" said Sanders.
(Confession can- I believe in magic, and Santa Claus)
Sanders- "Leonard is one of the more nicer contestants, but my God, that wizard schtick is really annoying."

The surfers were on a trail, separate from anybody else. The two of them seemed to be lost. By this point, it was pitch dark. "Dude I can't see anything, I feel like we might be going the wrong way" said Geoff. "We gotta take this nice and slow, one wrong move and we'll be falling off the edge" said Brody. "Wait a minute, I can see a light up ahead" said Geoff. "Maybe we should follow it." The light was actually two head lamps, being worn by the mother and daughter. Don had actually given all of the contestants head lamps for when it got dark, but the surfers forgot about them.
Kelly and Taylor were running side by side with each other. Taylor kept trying to shove her mother out of the way. "Taylor, don't make me put you in a time out for your aggression" said Kelly. "Shut up mom, i'm trying to win a million bucks here" said Taylor.
Pete was on the same trail as MacArthur and Tammy. "Maybe after we're done here, we can go get a beer" said Pete. "I'm not old enough to drink" said Tammy. "This has to be a joke, you've got a lot of magic potions, at least of them has to contain alcohol" said Pete. "If she is drinking, i'll have to lock her up" said MacArthur. "We are in the U.S.A, she's not in your god damn jurisdiction" said Pete.

MacArthur- "Looks like I have to give that old fart a ticket for pissing me off."

The camera then cuts to Don standing at the finish line, at the top of the canyon. "Here come the two leaders, Jacques and Stephanie are shoving one another" he announced. "STEPHANIE FALLS DOWN, JACQUES WINS THE RACE, WITH STEPHANIE ROLLING ACROSS THE LINE IN SECOND!" "Here comes Chet to take third place." "Mickey fourth, Crimson fifth, Kitty Sixth." "Ennui comes across the line in seventh, followed by Owen and Noah in eighth and ninth." "Emma tenth, Mary eleventh, Ryan twelfth." "Here come the mother and daughter to the line. "OH, THE SURFERS GET THEM AT THE LAST SECOND TO TAKE THIRTEENTH AND FOURTEENTH!" "Kelly and Taylor will have to settle for fifteenth and sixteenth." "Lorenzo seventeenth, Devin Eighteenth, Laurie Nineteenth, Pete twentieth, Tammy twenty first, MacArthur twenty second, Leonard twenty third, Jay twenty fourth, Sanders twenty fifth, Miles twenty sixth, Tom twenty seventh, Rock twenty eighth, Junior twenty ninth, Spud thirtieth, Josee thirty first, Ellody thirty second, Gerry thirty third, Carrie thirty fourth, Dwayne thirty fifth, and Jen last place in thirty sixth."

Jacques- "That is what I am talking about, you can see what I can do without Josee slowing me down."
Stephanie- "I don't like the way I was raced, that guy has the nerve to hit a lady."
Mickey -"Fourth place, I didn't expect to do this good."
Ryan- "The way it is right now, i'm currently the last guy in the chase." "I need to pick up the pace."
Josee- "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME!?" "I CAME IN THIRTY FIRST, AND JACQUES HAD TO WIN OF ALL PEOPLE!"
Jen- "Oh God, who knew last place would sting this bad?"
The camera then cuts to a podium, where the top three finishers are standing. Standing on the third and second place pedestal's we're Chet and Stephanie, and they were shooting Jacques death glares. Don then went up to Jacques on the first place pedestal, and spoke to him. "Jacques, as the winner of this challenge, I present to you, a $1,000 gift certificate to game stop." "I'm sure you'll find a video game with ice dancing in it." Don then turned to the camera. "That will do it for today's episode." "Tune in next time to see these 36 contestants, continue the pursuit for a million dollars on, The race around the states."

Authors note: As you can see, I have added "quotation marks" as some of you have requested. I really don't think it's hard to read without them, but everyone is entitled to their opinion. For those that are wondering wether or not i'm going to add them to my previous stories, I'll say it again, I don't think it's impossible to understand what is going on. I Might do it, but I can't promise anything. Also if you see any other grammar mistakes, it's because is autocorrecting me, it's not my fault.
So it's one down, 49 to go. Some of you are probably pissed off that I had a bad guy win the first challenge. Although there might be a small amount of fans that have the ice dancers as their favorite contestants.
The points for each contestant are going to be shown at the end of each chapter. The number of wins is there, in case they fall outside of the top 10 and have to rely on a wildcard spot.
