The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, the contestants went sailing across the James river in Virginia." "Some took this way too seriously, and it became as slug fest, with boats instead of fists." "Noah ended up taking the win, wanting to get the challenge over with as fast as possible, so he could go home, feeling as though he wouldn't be loved again." "It was a tearful loving moment between he and Emma, that convinced him to stay." "And then out of nowhere, it was revealed that Junior and Sanders were a couple." "How did this pre season hook up come to be?" "We could very well find out on this episode of the Ridiculous race."
Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.
**Flashback**
We start off over a year ago, at a subway station somewhere in Canada. In about 10 minutes, a train would be taking the contestants to Toronto, for the first leg of the Ridonculous race. Sanders was staring at Junior. "Oh my God, that guy looks hot" thought Sanders. "Am I allowed to think that?" She went red in the face, and began sweating nervously. "Am I coming off as a pedophile?" "Are you alright?" asked a voice. She was now focusing, and saw that Junior was right in front of her. "You look like you're overheating, do you need a glass of water?" asked Junior. "I i'm fine, I' i'm just nervous about the c competition" stuttered Sanders. "You and everyone else here" said Junior. He then held out his hand. "My names Dwayne Junior." "M my name in Sanders." stuttered Sanders nervously. She then shook his hand. "There is no way I am in love with somebody this young" she thought. "I literally just met the kid."
At a hotel in Morocco, Ellody and Mary were helping Junior with his math homework. "You just have to take that 7 to the fourth power, and you're home free" said Ellody. "And that adds up to a 2600" said Junior. "Well, that's the work done for today, we'll see you around" said Mary. After the geniuses left the room, Junior began doing some drawing. Sanders then came up to him. "Hey um, what are you sketching?" she asked nervously. "Just the outlining of my favorite total drama contestant of all time" said Junior. Sanders could see that it was a perfect sketch of Harold. "You must be a pretty big fan" she said. "Big is an understatement, I'm his number one fan" said Junior. "I can memorize every single one of his lines from the first three seasons, I was bummed when I found out he wasn't competing in All Stars." "Same goes for when I found out he's not competing in this race." "Maybe one day i'll meet him and I can get him to sign this picture." Sanders couldn't believe it, she too had rooted for him during his three seasons of competing.
Sanders had just been shoved, while running up a hill in Transylvania, and ended up knocking over the father and son team. "OFFICER DOWN" shouted MacArthur. She ran over to pick up her partner, and saw Sanders checking over Dwayne and Junior. Junior's eyes were covered by his hat. "Dear god, my hand just touched his chest" thought Sanders. "Bingo" said Junior. "Excuse me?'" asked MacArthur. "I'd rather be playing bingo" said Junior. "You sit and do nothing, while you wait for your board numbers to be called out, nobody gets hurt."
Later on that night, Sanders knocked on the father and son's hotel room door. Dwayne opened it, and Sanders saw something way too cute. Junior was fast asleep, cuddling a teddy bear. "I j just wanted to say I, i'm sorry for knocking you guys over" stuttered Sanders. "Oh it's no big deal, nobody got injured" said Dwayne. "I wanna apologize to him, but he looks out of it" said Sanders. "Just leave a note beside his bed" said Dwayne. Dwayne then went into the bathroom to change into his pajamas. After setting down the note, Sanders could not resist. She began playing with Junior's hair. Though still asleep, Junior felt his head being touched. "Heh heh, mommy that tickles" said Junior.
After the Hawaiian challenge, Sanders was about to go swimming in the hotel's pool. She stopped dead in her tracks when she saw that Junior was already there. He was sitting in the pool, wearing red swim trunks. "Dear God, he looks so hot without a shirt" she thought.
The two were sitting in the pool together, looking up at the stars. Sanders began to make small talk. "So uh, why is Harold your favorite?" she asked. "I just feel like he was treated unnecessarily" said Junior. "I'm convinced that he had a rough life before the show, considering how over a 16 year period, he suffered at least 300 diseases." "And then you take into consideration how Duncan treated him." "Showing his penis on international tv, all over a stupid pair of underpants." "I'm pretty sure Harold didn't even leave his drawers lying around, I am 100% positive Duncan just stole his underwear so he could frame him." "It does seem like something Duncan would do, he was never really fair to Harold" said Sanders. "Then there's all the unnecessary comments on the internet about him unfairly voting off Courtney" said Junior. "But it was unfair, if it was really to get back at Duncan, it would have made more sense to rig the votes against Duncan instead" said Sanders. "Courtney had nothing to do with his bullying." "Well take this into consideration, Courtney knew full well that Duncan was picking on Harold, and rather than do the right thing and call him out on it, she starts kissing him" said Junior. "Harold got her eliminated, because she was doing the wrong thing, by not standing up for him, and comforting him when he was being picked on." "You would think she would be responsible enough to do that, given how she was acting as a mature leader for the Killer Bass up to that point." "Harold did the right thing, Courtney deserved to get booted off." Sanders was surprised at what she heard, Junior was really making a good point. "And then in episode 10 of Total drama action, Harold had his best moment" said Junior. "He, and the rest of his competitors, were locked in a submarine, and about to drown." "Harold did one of the bravest things I ever saw, he managed to get that combination, and stopped everybody from drowning." "Heather, Leshawna, Duncan, Lindsay, Beth, Justin, and Izzy, He saved all of their lives." "When you look at comments regarding Harold on the internet, they just talk about, how he's a cheater who wrongfully screwed Courtney, and I can't find a single one that regards him as a hero." Sanders was really surprised, she now saw Harold completely differently. "Even after all that, Duncan still won't stop giving him crap." "He proceeds to say this, and I quote, "Harold, if you added trumpets to your snoring, it's definitely time for you to die." "I lost all respect for Duncan at that point, even after Harold saved his life, he still wished death upon him." Sanders was then filled with rage. She now saw Harold completely differently. If only Junior knew why she was a Harold fan, but how could she tell him?
In the cadet's hotel room in Oulu, Sanders, MacArthur, and Junior were playing Mario kart 64. "I GOT A STAR, I'M GOING FOR IT!" shouted Junior. He plowed right through MacArthur, and crossed the rainbow road finish line, with Sanders coming in second. Junior and Sanders then high fived each other. MacArthur was clearly upset with the loss. "I'm getting a Dr Pepper" she said as she left the room. "Sanders you're a cool person, I knew I made a good choice in my best friend" said Junior. Sanders was completely taken by surprise, when Junior hugged her all of a sudden. She finally came to a realization, she was in love with him.
The father son duo had just been eliminated after the Alberta leg of the race, and Junior was in his hotel room, packing up his things to go home. Junior heard a knock on the door and said "it's open." Sanders then stepped into the room. "Hey Junior, sorry you and your dad had to go this soon" she said. "It's probably for the best, I don't think my dad would be able to go on with his embarrassing tattoo" said Junior. "It was fun while it lasted." He was about to leave the room, when he took one last look at Sanders. "I hope you and MacArthur win this whole thing, hopefully i'll be seeing you around." The two of them then fist bumped, and Junior walked away. After he was gone, Sanders was mentally screaming at herself on the inside. She just blew her opportunity to tell him how she felt.
The race was finally over, and everyone was going home in a week. As Sanders was asleep, she heard screaming. "OOOOOWWWWW, HELP ME, I AM BEING KILLED BY A MAD RABBIT!" Sanders could immediately recognize the voice. "Oh dear God, something is going on with Junior" she thought. She and all the other contestants ran to his room, to see Junior lying on the ground, with several parts of his body bleeding out. Sanders began breathing heavily. "No, please no, he can't go like this" she thought.
After seeing him being taken away by the ambulance, she quickly ran into a janitor's closet, and began having an anxiety attack. This can't be happening, the man who she loved, can't be taken away from her so soon.
The next morning at breakfast, Dwayne Senior was explaining the injuries to everyone. "Thank God, he's still alive" though Sanders.
The day Junior was being discharged, was also the day that everyone was going home. Junior was slowly walking out of the hospital without a shirt. He had a back brace wrapped around his lower torso, his face, chest, and back were covered with stitches, and he had an ice pack taped to his chest. Sanders then came up to him. "Hi Sanders, it's good to see you again after everything that just took place" said Junior. "Listen Junior, I don't know of any way to tell you this, i'm in love with you" said Sanders. Junior could not believe what he was hearing. "I really should have told you a lot sooner, but I was worried I would be too old for you, and I know that your heart belongs to Carrie" said Sanders. "I was so close to losing you, and I realized that the two of us only have one life, and I was hoping you would be a major part of my life." "Wow, i've never had a girl say that they were in love with me before" said Junior. Junior then handed Sanders a slip of paper, containing his phone number and address. "Give me a call, we'll hang out some time."
A little less than a week later, the two were officially now a couple. Junior had to think about it for a short amount of time, and decided very quickly he was going to return her feelings. When Sanders wan't busy in the police academy, she would often be taking Junior out to dinner. She got Junior to do a lot more exercising, once the doctors deemed that Junior made a full recovery. They would often spend the night at each other's houses, with the one living there being the one to sacrifice the bedroom for their guest, and sleep on the couch.
But things got interesting, when Sanders came to spend the night at Junior's. Her eyes widened when she opened his bedroom door. "DEAR LORD!" she shouted. The room was absolutely covered with Denny Hamlin merchandise. There were posters, racing helmets, die casts, bed sheet's, and pillow cases. The color black was covering most of the room, with several logo's of Denny Hamlin's name, the number 11, the Joe Gibbs racing logo, and the FedEx logo. "My God, I didn't think i'd going to bed, surrounded by over 5,000 Denny Hamlin's" said Sanders. "I am a huge fan of him, been one ever since he won the Bud shootout in 2006" said Junior. "That's what got me into NASCAR, and I always want to see Hamlin win on Sundays." "Dude is my favorite celebrity of all time, and I want to get his autograph one day."
Junior and Sanders were sitting together one a plane, bound for Arizona. "Season 2 is going to be great, if I do well enough, Denny Hamlin will notice, and i'll finally get to meet him" said Junior. "I just hope I don't break my arm again" said Sanders.
**Present day**
"And that is how we fell in love" said Sanders. She and Junior were double dating in a restaurant with Noah and Emma. "I think I just gained some new respect for Harold" said Noah. "We never had bad blood between each other, we were friends, but I never really thought of him as a hero." "Yeah, you had me up until the Denny Hamlin bedroom" said Emma. "He a really good driver, I wonder if he actually watches the show we're on, I certainly hope so" said Junior.
(Room 3- father and son)
Junior had just gotten back from his date. "So Junior, how did the date go?" asked Dwayne. "It went quite well, but she still doesn't want to talk about her claim about being a bigger Harold fan than I am" said Junior. "Well when it comes to secrets in relationships, some have to wait a couple of years" said Dwayne. "Your mom didn't tell me that her favorite color was purple until she was pregnant with you."
(Room 15- the cadets)
"So Sanders, you did use protection after the date right?" asked MacArthur. "What are you trying to ask me?" asked Sanders. "Dear God, you didn't, you know you can't compete while pregnant" said MacArthur. "Oh come on, I am not the type of person to have sex with a 14 year old" said Sanders.
(Confession cam- Things are getting weird)
Sanders- "What the hell gave MacArthur the idea that me and Junior did any questionable activities?" "Is it because i'm an adult and he's a minor?" "Yeah i'm madly in love with him, but i'm not horny."
Dwayne- "Me and Junior are the only ones that know Sanders' first name." "But we're not saying anything."

(Room 16- the ice dancers)
"I warned you that this would happen, now you're all the way back in eighteenth" said Josee. "Now watch as you fall outside of a wild card spot, and see me win." "No way, I am going to kick your ass the next challenge" said Jacques.
As everyone stepped outside, ready to take off for the next state, they could see Don talking on the phone. "Why don't you like my idea?" "Why do you want to reuse challenges from the previous season?" "You gotta be kidding me, this is extremely dangerous, and let me remind you that two of them are vegans." "What, you're saying if they don't like it, they can just forfeit?" "No, I don't want to keep this job, but this is the only option I have." "Alright fine, but this is going to piss off several people." He then turned off his phone, and turned to the contestants. "Let me get this out of the way, most of the time when there was a bad officiating call last season, it was the producer's decision and not mine." "The only time I actually made a bad call, was not penalizing the sisters for sabotaging the adversity twins during the rock and roll challenge." "I didn't realize the gravity of the situation, until after the twins had already left." "Had I been smarter in that situation, I would have disqualified Emma and Kitty, and put Mickey and Jay back in the game." "Yes, I know, it eventually lead to Noah and Emma being a couple, but sabotage after you've already reached the chill zone, is screwed up."
(Confession cam- It ain't cheating, if you don't get caught)
Leonard- "A disqualification sounds too harsh, I would have just given a 40 minute penalty for the next chill zone."
Rock- "I'm starting to think, that this is why the format was changed this season."
**End confessional**
"I don't own the show, i'm just the host" said Don. "The producer, (whose name i'm not allowed to mention) Is the one calling the shots." "He forces me to make decisions I don't want to do." "And today's challenge, is no different." "Sigh, get on the bus, we're going to Texas."
They bus stopped in Texas, and stopped in front of a bull pasture. "The challenge was originally going to be a Texas style shootout with paintball guns, but the producer suggested we do a bull rodeo" said Don. "When I told them we already did a mechanical bull challenge, he said we were using real bulls." "I specifically told him that Miles and Laurie would not consent to this, but he didn't give a crap."
(Confession cam- Oh come on, this is bull crap)
Laurie- "Is this my punishment for wishing for cursing Dwayne Senior?" "I mean for crying out loud, he is currently last in the standings."
Miles- "People have questioned why I am still friends with Laurie." "I'm telling you, she regrets her actions, and doesn't want to see anybody get hurt."
*End Confessional**
"Here is how this is going to work, 36 bulls, 36 contestants" said Don. "We'll go in order from last place in points to first." "Each contestant will ride the bull, one handed, without a saddle." "You each will be timed, the the contestant who stays on their bull the longest, wins the challenge." Don then began to narrate over the contestants bull rides.
"Dwayne starts us off, if you remember correctly, a mechanical bull is what got him eliminated last season." "Oh god, his time is 01.22." "I will be amazed, if this is the time that wins the challenge."
(Confession cam- I am never attempting to ride one)
Dwayne- "I am just having trouble, I was already last in the standings going into this rodeo." "The writing might be on the wall for me."
Sanders- "Yes, I was a fan of Harold before I signed up for this, and I gained more appreciation after the information Junior told me." "There is no way, anybody is going to know the reason why I like him, especially Junior." "And Harold, if you're watching this, I really hope you're doing okay given everything that happened."
**End confessional**
Don continued his commentary. "Carrie is up next, and it's only slightly better, 02.02." "Gerry is on the bull next, and it's clear his age is interfering with this, as he just clocked out at 04.01." "Ellody obviously made some calculations from the the first 3, and it it actually makes a difference, 07.61." "Now Josee obviously better stick to ice dancing, as she is now the first new contestant to not take the lead, 05.28." "Now Spud is riding it, as if he was riding to Walmart for a Snickers bar, and jumps to the top of the board with a time of 12.33." "And his parter Rock is putting on a show, oh now he's on top with a time of 15.65." "Now Junior is hanging on for dear life, trying not to end up back in the hospital." "Holy crap, he's still hanging on." "Oh my God, the kid just shot up to the top of the board like a bullet, with a time of 31.26, that's going to be hard to beat." "Pete is hanging on longer than his rival, he's really hanging on." "Oh my God, he just took away Junior's lead with a time of 43.65, over 12 seconds." "Tom is making a valiant effort to take away that top spot, oh, he comes up just short with a time of 41.33." "I don't see Miles lasting that long and, wait a minute, she's actually making an effort to stay on." "Why is she trying so hard?" "I thought vegans were against animal cruelty." "Oh, looks she finally gave up with a time of...52.33?" "Did she quit being a vegan in between seasons?" "Sanders is really riding for it, oh she's trying to surpass Miles." "And she did it, with a time of 53.65." "Now we're seeing a bit of a streak of new leaders, Devin is the new leader, 54.26." "Jay is absolutely terrified right now, oh no, he didn't make it, 13.26." "Now he is barfing in a porta potty." "Ennui is looking for redemption after his last place finish the previous challenge, and manages to do it, he now leads with a time of 62 seconds flat." "MacArthur is having a ball out there, and she becomes the new leader, with a time of 63.26." "She was finally thrown off the bull, when she decided to fart on it." "Oh my God, Jen is getting it done out there." "She's lasting quite awhile, and she takes a big lead, 89.26." "Leonard just drank a mountain dew, thinking it was an invisibility potion." "Even if the bull was somehow not able able to see him, it can obviously still fees him, 40.61." "Jacques currently sits as the first wild card in the chase, and he is really working that bull to stay in the chase, and comes out of this as the new leader, with a time of 99.03."

Don resumed his commentary. "Tammy is now eating a carrot, thinking that it's a magical herb." "There is no way that the carrot is magic, but it seems as though all she needed was her five a day, and she takes the lead with a time of 101.33." "Kelly jumps on, and she does...decent, before landing into a pile of hay, 61.33." "Laurie is having a tantrum on the bull, she is clearly not enjoying this cattle cruelty, and she finally jumps off with a time of 100.26." "Wait a minute, she's going up to Carrie, and she's hugging her, touching." "I think it's clear that a cowboy hat, doesn't make you southern, as Geoff falls off with a time of 51.26." "Mary has not followed her partners idea of calculating ever contestant up to this point, but it doesn't matter as she comes off with a respectable time of 60.03." "Taylor is being cautious, trying not to ruin her hair, and jumps off with a time of 60.03." "Lorenzo is just on it, he's not letting go." "It was just enough, he managed to take the lead away with a time of 102.65." "Kitty is struggling just a bit, oh my, she falls off with a time of 44.03." "Ryan is on next and, oh Lord, I did not expect this, he only managed a 21.01." "Surprising given the strength he has." "What the hell?" "Rather than sitting, Brody is standing on the bull, and he is surprisingly keeping his balance." "Oh my God, he falls off, lands on his feet, and comes with the lead, 115.25." "Mickey is putting up a good effort, and he manages to finish with a time of 77.03." "Stephanie is a big surprise, she only managed to get a 22.33." "Emma is only a little bit better, 32.03." "I would have thought Crimson would do better, given how she rides bulls at her grandmother's, 68.65." "Owen is making the bull sweat, the bull finally can't take his weight anymore, and they both fall down, 105.33." "Noah is looking to get consecutive wins, oh, he stumbles, he'll have to settle with a 27.03." "Chet finally completes the cycle with a 103.03." "This means Brody is the winner, with Owen and Chet right behind him in second and third."
(Confession cam- I'm in the mood for some barbecue ribs)
Chet- "I am still leading the points, i'm going all the way."
Lorenzo- "Just one spot away, it doesn't matter, i'll get him next time."
Brody- "VICTORY PARTY!"
Emma-"I'm the last contestant in the chase, by only 4 points." "Considering that the one just below me is really smart, i'll have to do something big."

Brody, Owen, and Chet were standing on the podium. Chet was on the third place pedestal, Owen on the second place pedestal, and Brody on the winner's pedestal. "Brody, for managing to hang on for dear life on that bull, you just won yourself this" said Don. An intern walked in, pushing a large tv camera on wheels." "It'll be interesting to see what you decide to film with this" said Don. "Now I have to ask, what gave you the crazy idea, to stand on the bull?" "I only have one life, I had to accomplish a dangerous stunt at some point" said Brody. "Well, what will happen in the next challenge?" asked Don. "Find out next time on The race around the states.

Authors note: Junior's reasons for being a Harold fan, are the exact same reasons why Harold is my favorite of the original 22 TDI contestants. While he is not a contestant, he is going to play a major part in the story.
And to those of you that plan on writing a fic that takes place after Action, keep in mind that Harold saved Duncan's life, and Duncan still asked for Harold to die.
