The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, we found about more about Junior and Sanders' relationship, and figured out that Junior is a big fan of Denny Hamlin." "Everybody then competed in a Texas style rodeo, and Brody pulled off a surprise win, when he decided to stand on the bull." "How much crazier are things going to get?" "Find out on this episode of, the race around the states."

Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown

(Room 10- the surfers)

"I still can't believe I actually stood on the bull" said Brody. "Yeah, it was cool I guess" said Geoff sadly. "Dude, what's the matter?" asked Brody. "I've just been thinking about what Junior said to be back in Virginia, I just feel so guilty for bullying Harold" said Geoff. "I don't understand it, we were pretty close on the train in New Zealand." "Dude, you aren't a bad person, you're a good person that just made some bad choices" said Brody. "If you really want to put thing right, you should write and apology letter to Harold." "Yeah, you're right, i'll do that right now" said Geoff.

(Room 15- the cadets)

MacArthur was not in the room at the moment, and Sanders was talking to Harold on the phone. "Harold, I know how you are feeling right now, and I share your pain" said Sanders. "I'm just glad that somebody finally agreed with my reason for elimination Courtney, and that somebody finally acknowledges me as a hero" said Harold. "I know I keep saying this, but i'm really sorry about that argument we had, you were right" said Sanders. "No it's okay, it's not your fault i'm in my current position" said Harold. "Junior really thinks of you as a role model, and really wants to meet you" said Sanders. "Maybe I should put you on the line with him, so you can tell him what's going on." "I can't, if he knew what I was putting up with, it would drastically affect his performance" said Harold. "He needs to be completely focused, just look at where he is in the points right now. "Listen, i'm supporting both of you equally, and I hope that one of you wins this whole thing."

(Confession cam- something is definitely going wrong)

Sanders- "I can't tell anyone what's wrong with Harold, especially Junior." "I'm just going to say, that I share his pain."

**End confessional**

The next morning, everyone got on the bus, and they arrived in Kansas. "Welcome to Kansas, famous for it's beautiful sunflower fields" said Don. "This challenge, is going to be to navigate your way through a large, 3 mile sunflower maze." "The first contestant to reach the other end of the maze, will take the reward." "If you try to shortcut through the sunflowers, you will be disqualified, and credited with a thirty sixth place finish.

Soon, all of the contestants were lined up before the maze. Don was all ready, to start the challenge. "On your mark, get set, GOOOO!" Everybody ran into the maze.

The maze was actually quite large, and it was very difficult to navigate through.

Tom was walking with Chet and Carrie. "There are marriages that make husband and wife, so why not have marriages that make cousins?" asked Chet. "That's a good idea" said Carrie. "Tom, can you imagine a minister asking if you want to take Jen to be your cousin?" "Tom just stood there, and said nothing.

(Confession cam- What the actual hell?)

Tom- "This is making me uncomfortable."

Jen was with Crimson and Stephanie. "So Crimson, how painful was getting that tattoo of a bat?" asked Jen. Crimson answered in an emotionless tone. "I didn't feel any pain, I was asleep during the procedure." "How the hell, does one fall asleep while getting a tattoo?" asked Stephanie.

(Confession cam- If this is possible in real life, I won't be surprised)

Crimson- "I still don't know the answer to this day." "What's more ironic, is that I was sleeping with my eyes open, and when the procedure was done, the artist told me that he would let me have it for free if I would get the hell out of the parlor." "He was probably terrified, and didn't want to risk scaring the customers."

Lorenzo was with Kitty and Ryan. "I remember doing this at a fair, only it was corn instead of sunflowers" said Lorenzo. Ryan then proceeded to jump up and down. "What's with the jumping?" asked Kitty. "Don said we couldn't cut through the sunflowers, he never said we couldn't look over them" said Ryan. "I'm trying to get high enough so I can see the right way to go."

(Confession cam- I can't jump very high)

Kitty- "Sometimes even though referees don't outright say it, they have these unwritten rules that you can still get in trouble for breaking." "And knowing that it's the producers who call most of the shots and not Don, Ryan might have just screwed himself over."

Dwayne and Carrie were running to an opening. "I can see the exit, we might not be in the final two points positions after this challenge" said Carrie. They were disappointed when they got there. "Damnit this isn't the exit, we just went in a full circle back to the entrance" said Dwayne.

Junior was with Taylor and Miles. "Junior, ever since this season started, you've had a bit of a temper" said Miles. "First there's this whole claim about not showing mercy to people who hurt your family members, and then there are all these statements about how Harold is underrated, and how Duncan should be treated like the devil." "Did something happen in between seasons to upset you?" "Miles, I appreciate your concern, but nothing is wrong with me" said Junior. "You're not fooling anybody, don't be stupid" said Taylor. "After your injury a year ago, you had a wake up call and realized that the world isn't all fun and games, and that life is unfair." "It's obvious that ever since your accident, you've been suffering from PTSD, and that's where the anger is coming from."

(Confession cam- All this because of a rabbit?)

Junior- *Is red in the face and is bawling his eyes out* "NOBODY KNOWS WHAT I'VE HAD TO GO THROUGH SINCE THEN!" "I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE SUFFERING FROM PTSD, BUT I DON'T WANT TO MENTION THE OTHER PERSON!"

Emma was actually with her boyfriend Noah. "Knowing that Junior is a fan of Harold, and seeing as how you two go way back to Wawanakwa, why not get in contact with him, and set him up to give Junior his autograph?" asked Emma. "Oh God, that is going to be a major problem" said Noah. "After we got off the boat after the first episode of ROTI, Harold went berserk, and started beating the crap out of Gwen." "Gwen tried to fight back, but Harold was overpowering her." "After we finally restrained the two of them, Harold had no marks whatsoever, and Gwen was covered with bruises." "Harold began shouting profanities at Gwen, for even thinking about dating Duncan, i.e, the guy who would not stop torturing him." "He said that anybody who is a friend of Duncan, doesn't get to be a friend of him." "He ran off crying, and none of us have seen him since." "I called him numerous times, he just kept sending me text messages, for everyone from the original TDI cast to stay the fuck away from him." "Looking back on it, it's probably because he acted as a true hero during season 2, but none of us, not one, gave him any recognition for it." "Oh man, he's probably been emotionally destroyed ever since" said Emma.

Gerry was actually with the geniuses. "So, with my current age and condition, how long do I have left to live?" "I'd say it would be around 5- 10 years" said Ellody. "Wait a minute, i'm going to die in less than a decade?" asked Gerry. "Forget years, you only have 5-10 months" said Mary. Gerry suddenly looked alarmed. "Oh shit, i'm going to die" he said panicking.

(Confession cam- This stuff rights itself)

Ellody- "HAHAHAHAHA!"

Mary- "That old geezer totally fell for it, he didn't realize we were joking." "HAHAHAHAHA!"

Ennui was with Spud. "Hang on, I could have sworn that you and Crimson adopted a pet rabbit, in the same episode I was eliminated" said Spud. Ennui began to have flashbacks, about Loki trying to murder Junior, and they decided not to bring their rabbit with them for season 2. In hindsight, it was a bad idea to adopt a wild animal, instead of going to the pet store. How on earth could Spud have forgotten what happened?" "W we decided to, donate him to a preschool for, for kids with special needs" Ennui lied. "He's the class pet there." "That's odd, you sound nervous, you usually don't show emotion" said Spud. "I i'm just, h hungry" Ennui lied. "Then you might need this, you're not you when you're hungry" said Spud. He then tossed Ennui a snickers. "Dear God, I do not want to remember that experience" thought Ennui. "There was no way for me to tell him the truth, Spud's mind is too fragile."

Jay was red in the face, and he wouldn't stop sneezing. It was clear that he was suffering from severe pollen allergies. But unbeknownst to him, his brother was having a much worse time. Mickey's allergies were so bad, that his eyes were watering. He couldn't see where he was going, and ended up tripping on a tree root, falling flat in his face.

Owen was with Devin and Jacques. "Devin, I don't wish bad things on people, but how are you not dead?" asked Owen. "You fell off a giant cliff, and you were walking again in less than a week." "Says the one who literally got crushed by an airplane" said Devin.

(Confession cam- cartoon logic)

Jacques- "If anything, it's a miracle that he hasn't had a heart attack because he's fat." "Not that I want him too, i'm just surprised it hasn't happened yet." "I may have a negative history, but i'm not sadistic to the point where I want people to die." "And no, we weren't to run over to Dwayne Senior in Zimbabwe, we were just trying to scare the crap out of him."

**End confessional**

The surfers were discussing Harold. "Listen dude, if he's not willing to accept your apology, then that's his problem" said Brody. "It wasn't just showing him naked, I also did some questionable things during action" said Geoff.

This is where things start to get weird. Kelly was thinking of ways she could discipline Taylor, if she caught her cheating again, considering forcing her to sleep in the tub. Pete was trying to offer Budweiser to Tammy, but she kept saying that she was underage. Leonard was thinking of ways to get his magic powers back. MacArthur got lost trying to track footprints, only to find out that the footprints were her own. Sanders was picturing in her mind, Junior cosplaying as King Arthur, interesting fantasy. Rock was currently listening to Rascal Flatts on his iPod.

Things really got interesting, when Josee saw something, that would probably scar her for life. She saw Mickey lying on the ground, blood gushing out of his face, with his headgear off, and in pieces. It looked worse than what Junior had to go through. Mickey's cheeks, forehead, nose, and chin were covered in blood. There was even blood coming out of his eyes and mouth, with two teeth lying beside him. His eyes had gone bloodshot red. "Dear God, what happened to you?" asked Josee. Mickey was barely able to speak. "Pollen...tripped...face...dragged." "Just leave me here, i'll slow you down." Josee remembered what happened with Junior a year ago, and how Junior actually thought she and Jacques were actually going to run over his dad. She meant it, when she said she never wanted to see someone get hurt. Knowing all of the things that she and Jacques did last season, it was about time to put things right. She carefully lifted Mickey onto his feet, and put her arm around him. "What are you doing?" asked Mickey. "I'm helping you finish this challenge" said Josee. The two slowly began walking, with Josee catching Mickey, every time he was about to fall.

At the exit of the maze, Laurie had just made it to the end. "And we have our winner, and this time you won't lose due to a time penalty, you got it fair and square" said Don. "I just hope Dwayne Senior didn't come in last again, I still regret jinxing him" said Laurie.

It wasn't long before the rest of the contestants made it the the exit of the maze. Emma second, Noah third, Kitty fourth, Ryan fifth, Lorenzo sixth, Sanders seventh, Geoff eighth, Brody ninth, MacArthur tenth, Jacques eleventh, Devin twelfth, Owen thirteenth, Jay fourteenth, Leonard fifteenth, Pete sixteenth, Tammy seventeenth, Rock eighteenth, Kelly nineteenth, Spud twentieth, Ennui twenty first, Taylor twenty second, Junior twenty third, Miles twenty fourth.

Ennui pulled Junior off to the side. "Junior, after Loki went berserk and attacked you, why didn't you press charges against me and Crimson?" asked Ennui. "Didn't I already tell you?" asked Junior. "I know it was an accident, you never wanted me to get hurt." "Well it's just, while you haven't been a complete jerk, you have been going through some anger issues since the season started" said Ennui. "There's nothing wrong with me, I just don't want my dad to end up in the hospital like I did" said Junior.

Jen Twenty fifth, Crimson twenty sixth, Stephanie twenty seventh, Ellody twenty eighth, Mary twenty ninth, Gerry thirtieth, Chet thirty first, Tom thirty second, Carrie thirty third, and Dwayne thirty fourth.

A couple of hours went by, and there was still no sign of Mickey and Josee. By this point, the sun was starting to go down. Then, they saw the horrifying sight. There was Josee, helping a bleeding faced Mickey walk. "OH GOD, MICKEY!" shouted Jay. Mickey's foot stepped over the finish line, just before Josee. Josee then gently set Mickey down on the ground. Josee then sniffed. "It was completely horrible, I couldn't leave him there" she said. "You...should...have...left..me" said Mickey.

(Confession cam- Oh God, things took a turn for the worst)

Laurie- "I want to celebrate my first win of the season, but I think that Mickey is going to die."

Jacques- "Well, i'm back in the top 10, and i'm starting to rethink some of my life choices."

Owen- "I'm glad i'm the new points leader, but I hope Mickey is okay."

Mary- "Maybe we shouldn't have joked that Gerry was going to die."

**End confessional**

The sun had finally gone down, and an ambulance had arrived at the scene. Mickey and Jay's parents were also present, and were in tears when they saw the condition of their son. Mickey was being put on a stretcher, with his entire face covered in bandages. Jay leaned over his twin, and began crying. "Don't worry Mickey, you'll be okay" said Jay. Mickey's voice was muffled by his several bandages, but he was trying to tell Jay to win while they were apart. Once the ambulance took off, Jay suddenly began hugging Josee. "Thanks for helping my brother" said Jay. Josee returned the hug. "It's okay Jay, everything will be fine" she said.

The podium ceremony, wasn't what everyone hoped it would be, before the challenge started. Noah stood on the third place pedestal, Emma on the second place pedestal, and Laurie on the winners pedestal. "Okay, things obviously could have gone better today" said Don. "Laurie, you just got yourself a bike for winning, you can only ride it in between challenges." "We can't let you win that easily." He then turned to the camera. "For those of you watching at home, we apologize for the graphic images you had to see." "We'll keep you updated on Mickey's condition, and we all pray that he makes a full recovery." "That's it, cue the credits." The screen then went black.

Authors note: Yep, I bet you didn't expect things would get this dark. I wanted to give Josee some kind of redemption, so I figured i'd have her help Mickey finish the challenge, thinking it might be the last time he'll ever competing. There will be redemption for Jacques as well, don't even ask.

More things have just been revealed. Harold is obviously going through a rough patch in life right now, with Sanders being the only one he has contact with. Something obviously happened to Junior in between seasons, causing him to go through so much anger.
