The episode starts, showing everybody gathered around the campfire. "Welcome back to the race around the states" said Don. "If you remember last time, Mickey got seriously hurt, and we still await his condition." "Everyone is scared, we don't know how bad it is, Jay is full of tears, and we can only pray." "Just get the theme song over with."
Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.
"Sigh, welcome back everyone, it's getting late, and we still don't have any word on Mickey" said Don. "I've got the doctor on speaker right now, and he's going to give us news." "Name: Micah Fritzell, a.k.a Mickey, age 17" said the doctor. "Upon impact with the ground, his face cut open, releasing a large amount of blood." "His nose was broken in the process, and his jaw smashed under the pressure." "The impact also left him with a grade 4 concussion, cracking open a large piece of his skull, tearing through 4 veins, which of course led to major internal breeding." "It didn't help the fact, that he accidentally swallowed a whole pound of dirt in the process, along with soil, fertilizer, and an earthworm." "We put him under anesthetics, cut open his head, took out the leaky bloody, and tried to put his skull back together." "As for the dirt in his stomach, we had to drain his system completely." "Everything he ate or drank, was removed from him." "We are doing our best to fatten him up to 120 pounds." "He is plugged into several tubes, giving him pain medicine." "There is a giant oxygen mask covering his face." "He is resting now, and is crying in his sleep, has not been awake since before the surgery." "His chances of survival are only 20%, I don't he'll be out of the hospital before the competition ends, he's probably going to have to drop out." "The last thing he said before going under, was that he badly wants Jay to win the entire season."
(Confession cam- Dear God, this is really bad)
Jay- (Is in tears throwing a tantrum) "MICKEY, DON'T LEAVE ME BROTHER, I CAN'T HAVE YOU LEAVE THIS SOON!"
Junior- "No, no, no, this is a repeat of my Loki incident last year, only far worse."

"Okay then, as bad is this may seem, the show needs to go on, that's what Mickey would want" said Don. "We will still have 36 contestants competing, there will be a substitute competing in his place, until he is cleared to compete again." "Or rather, if he is ever cleared to compete again." "Okay, bring in the substitute." A large lady wearing earrings, and a kumquat shirt appeared. "What's up ya'll, Leshawna's is the house" said the girl. Nearly every single contestant began clapping at her arrival, with Owen, Noah, and Geoff letting out cheers, given how the three of them already knew her. "No, no, no, this is the last thing I needed, after I found out that one of my friends is on their deathbed" said Junior. "Out of all the substitutes, it just had to be one of most selfish contestants in reality show history." Everyone stared at Junior confused. What was he talking about? Leshawna was one of the nicest people in Total Drama. "Listen kid, I know why you're mad at me" said Leshawna. "You started throwing a fit over me feeling uncomfortable around Harold, after I saw his package." "Well i'm here to tell you, that's not why I dumped him." "Yeah sure, and it had nothing to do with the fact that you sexually harassed him, on international tv" said Junior. Everyone stared at Junior, awkwardly, except for Sanders and his father. "Now you're just being stupid, there was not a single time, I did anything to harm the skinny white boy" said Leshawna. "Junior began going red in the face, he began gritting his teeth, and for the first time ever in his life, he said a swear word. "YOU FUCKING LIAR!" he shouted. Everybody stared at him, completely taken away. But the swearing did not stop there. "WHEN DUNCAN, DJ, AND GEOFF PLANNED THAT WHOLE PRANK OUT, YOU, AND EVERY OTHER FEMALE WHO WAS CURRENTLY ON THAT ISLAND, STOOD THERE, STARING AT HIS DICK!" "NOT ONCE, DID YOU GIVE A SINGLE SHIT ABOUT WHAT YOU WERE DOING, YOU NEVER FELT ANY REMORSE FOR THAT, AND YOU NEVER APOLOGIZED FOR IT!" "AND THEN, WHEN YOU ARE ABOUT TO DROWN, HE SAVES YOUR LIFE, AND YOU NEVER THANK HIM FOR IT!" "WHAT THE HELL DID HAROLD SEE IN YOU?" ALL I SEE IN YOU, IS A PERVERTED, UNGRATEFUL ASSHOLE!" Junior then got a sudden surge of strength, and punched Leshawna, right in the eye, knocking her to the ground. Leshawna's eye was going black, with blood throbbing from it. Junior then got up, and had one final word. "I'VE HAD A LONG DAY, AND I'M GOING TO BED, BEFORE ANY MORE BULLSHIT HAPPENS!" "AND JAY, YOU DON'T HAVE TO SHARE A HOTEL ROOM WITH LESHAWNA, YOU'RE MORE THAN WELCOME TO SPEND THE NIGHT WITH ME AND MY DAD!" "SHE DOESN'T GIVE A FYLING SHIT ABOUT YOUR TWIN BROTHER, SHE'S ONLY SUBSTITUTING FOR HIM, JUST SO SHE CAN WIN THE FUCKING MILLION DOLLARS!" He then stormed of angrily.
(Confession cam- Junior's gone mad hasn't he?)
Leshawna- "As much as I hate to admit it, that kid is right." "I have been nothing but a jerk to Harold." "I really gotta find some way to make it up to him."
Sanders- "I'm feeling very remorseful." "I admit that I yelled at Harold in person for wrongfully eliminating Courtney." "It wasn't until I met Junior, that I realized that he wanted payback on Courtney participating in that prank." "I'm still not saying the reason why Harold disappeared off the face of the earth, but I can assure, that he's fine and we don't need any missing posters."
Geoff- "Oh God, I had no idea that I was doing something so bad."
Junior- "The only one that actually thanked Harold for saving her life, and actually agreed with his reason for eliminating Courtney, was Izzy." "She may be nuts, but she does have standards." "I think you know who my second favorite total drama contestant next to Harold is."

(Room 16- the ice dancers)
"Jacques, i've been a complete asshole to you since this season started" said Josee. "And I haven't exactly been fair to you either" said Jacques. "Do you want to be friends again?" "I would be more than happy too" said Josee. They then shook hands.
(Room 7- the goths)
"Crimson, we messed up big time" said Ennui. "I know what you're talking about" said Crimson. "Even though it was an accident, had we not injured Junior, he wouldn't be going through so much anger." "If only we kept Loki under control, then Junior would be happy" said Ennui.
(Room 3- father and son)
Dwayne stepped into the room, to see Junior in tears, holding onto his teddy bear for dear life. "Junior, are you okay?" asked Dwayne. "Please leave me alone daddy" said Junior. Dwayne was surprised, Junior always only referred to him as dad. Junior hadn't said the word daddy since he was 6. "I know what this is about, you're scared about Mickey" said Dwayne. "Life is horrible, i've got a giant X mark on my face, and i'm positive that one of my friends is about to die" said Junior. "Listen son, I want to talk about that fight you just had with Leshawna" said Dwayne. "You did the right thing, and I am proud of you." "Sexual harassment is not a funny joke, it can scar people for life." "Leshawna got what she deserved, and while I don't know where Harold is, I know for a fact he is watching this on a tv somewhere, and he's happy for you"
(Room 8- Jay and Leshawna)
Leshawna could obviously tell that Jay was crying under his covers. "Listen Jay, I know you're thinking about what Junior said" said Leshawna. "Trust me, I ain't doing this just for the money, I legitimately feel scared for you brother." "I miss having him as a roommate, we've shared a bedroom since the day we were born" said Jay. "He's not going to make it, he's going to die."
The next day after everyone got on the bus, they were surprised to see that they were stopping in the parking lot, of the Charlotte motor speedway. "We are in Charlotte, North Carolina" said Don. "We are just outside the Charlotte motor speedway, where the legendary Coca cola 600 is held once a year."
Everyone was then led, to the top of the spotters stand. The contestants were handed controllers, and special glasses. "Hey wait a minute, the entire audience, consists of nothing but retired NFL players" said Pete. "This is actually the first challenge to take place in an actual stadium, and yes, it is weird that only football players actually payed to watch this" said Don. "Way down there at the bottom of the racetrack, are remote control RC cars, with cameras attached to them." "Those glasses, will allow you to see out of the cameras, making you see what you would see, if you were actually driving around this track." "The starting lineup is determined, by where you currently are in points." "You take off, at the sound of the air horn." "The first contestant to successfully navigate their way around the track ten times, will win the challenge."
(Confession cam- Hell yeah, we've got a race)
Junior- "Oh my gosh, i'm a huge NASCAR fan." "It would be amazing if I managed to win a challenge, at a real life NASCAR track."
**End confessional**
"We will not be tolerating shortcuts" said Don. "If you advance your position while below the apron, you must immediately give the position back." "Failure to do so will result in a 10 second penalty." "In the event where you are avoiding an accident, or if you are forced down there, you will not be penalized." "To a certain extent, we will have cautions for incidents." "In the event of a car turning upside down, an intern will go onto the track, and put the car upright again." "Due to the fact we don't want an intern getting hurt, we ask that you not pass for position, and only race those who aren't on the same lap as you." "But we're not saying you aren't allowed to gain positions during the caution, we just highly recommend that you don't." "We're not stopping you from pulling a Robby Gordon."
Before long, all of the cars were lined up before the start/finish line. Once they heard the air horn go off, the race was on. Chaos ensued before some of them even got to the start/finish line to begin lap one. Jen, Gerry, Carrie, Josse, Dwayne, and Geoff already ended up upside down, putting the race under caution.
Everyone in front of them was still going at full speed, but wasn't passing for position. When they came around, Chaos ensued, as nearly everybody was slamming into each other during the cleanup process, with interns getting knocked over. Emma was the only one who managed to dodge the chaos, and quickly took the lead away, beginning lap two. She began to pull away from the rest of the field.
Emma came around turn four as the mess was finally cleaned up, and put 5 more cars a lap down. Once they began the third lap, they managed to pass Emma and get their lap back.
The race continued on, and Emma continued to lead most of the way. When they got to the ninth lap, Spud got loose underneath of her, and turned her upside down. By the time her car was turned right side up again, second through thirteenth managed to catch up to her.
The white flag came out, and Emma was hanging on for dear life. Her lead was severely shrunken, but she had just enough to hang on, and get to the checkered flag first, winning the race, but not before she put five more cars a lap down. Tammy got second, Ryan got third, Brody fourth, Sanders fifth, Stephanie sixth, Leonard Seventh, Taylor Eighth, Kelly Ninth, Devin Tenth, Ennui eleventh, Jay Twelfth, Leshawna thirteenth, Noah fourteenth, Mary fifteenth, Chet sixteenth, Miles Seventeenth, Kitty eighteenth, Owen nineteenth, MacArthur twentieth, Crimson twenty first, Pete Twenty second, Laurie twenty third, Junior twenty fourth, and Lorenzo finished in twenty fifth, the last contestant on the lead lap.
Rock finished in twenty sixth, Tom got twenty seventh, Jacques twenty eighth, Ellody twenty ninth, Spud thirtieth, Jen thirty first, Gerry thirty second, Carrie thirty third, and Josee finished in thirty fourth, the last contestant one lap down. Dwayne and Geoff finished in thirty fifth and thirty sixth, the only contestants 2 laps down.
(Confession cam- what a race)
Emma- "I though I was screwed when I flipped over, I somehow held on."
Brody- "That's what i'm talking about, first in points."
Jacques- "I'm seventeenth in points in the wild card position, 18 points outside the top 10." "Normally I would complain about that, but my mind is somewhere more important."
Leshawna- "What do I have to do, to get on Junior's good side?"

The podium for this challenge, was actually in the Charlotte motor speedway victory lane. Ryan was on the third place pedestal, Tammy was on the second place pedestal, and Emma was on the winners pedestal. "Emma, you just won yourself the entire collection of Harry Potter" said Don. "All seven books, and all six movies up to this point." Ryan then looked at Tammy. "Maybe you and Leonard were born magical, but you just can't use magic, because you are both squibs" he said.
(Confession cam- Nobody asked for your opinion, you filthy mud blood)
Ryan- "I am totally okay with the larpers talking being wizards, but actually trying to use magic, that is the irritating part."

Epilogue
Mickey was lying asleep in his hospital bed, plugged into several machines, and with an oxygen mask covering his face. He was woken up, when a doctor came into the room. "Mr Fritzell, this came for you in the mail" said The doctor. A box was then put down right next to Mickey. Once the doctor left the room, Mickey noticed a letter attached to the box.
Dear Mickey
I want to start off, by saying that i'm sorry for all of the nasty things i've done so far. I promise that from now on, I will be honest, and play cleanly. We all miss you, you're like family to all of us. We know how hard it is for you right now, but no matter far away we may seem, we are still with you. We hope that you get well soon, and that we get to compete with you again. P.S I went back into the maze, and gathered up the pieces. It was damaged beyond repair, but I still managed to put it back together.
We all love you, Jacques.
Mickey opened the box, and saw his headgear, good as new. It looked in better condition than it was, before it was broken. Covering the entire helmet, was the signatures of all of his friends. They were his thirty five fellow contestants, his substitute Leshawna, and Don. But his twin brother Jay's signature wasn't written into the headgear, it was carved. Mickey began welling up with tears, and he put a smile on his face. His friends, would still be there for him. His voice wasn't very strong, but he was very weakly singing.

Authors note:This story currently takes places, less than a month before the release of Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 1. That's why I mentioned there only being 6 movies, instead of 8.
Given how this competition is using a former NASCAR point system, it was inevitable that there would be a race related challenge. I applaud you, if you know what I meant, by pulling a Robby Gordon.
Most people would just have a former Total Drama contestant join the competition, purely for fan service. I brought Leshawna back, to point out her flaws, and call her out for them.
I usually try not to include character bashing in my stories, but I genuinely think, that the scene where almost everyone on the island at the time pulled a harsh prank on Harold, was one of the most unnecessary scenes in cartoon history. What they all did was wrong, and if they did it in real life, they would get arrested for sexual harassment. What really angers me, is that people say that Courtney had an unfair elimination, and that Harold was entirely in the wrong. While it is an opinion that I can respect, I think it's total bullshit. Every single one of his teammates, just stripped him naked on international television. He was obviously driven angry by this, and any sane person would have taken action. I think Courtney got what she deserved, and it was one of the most satisfying eliminations, in Total Drama history.
The final scene with Mickey, had me crying the whole time. I said last chapter that Jacques would get a moment of redemption, and his moment was fixing Mickey's headgear. Everybody signing it, was proof that they all care for him, and have him in their hearts. To those of you who are reading this that have a close friend in the hospital, or even if you're the patient suffering, I want you all to know, that no matter far apart your friends and family are, they will always be standing right next to you, even when they pass on to the afterlife.
