The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, we found out the hard way, what happens when you have a card game with a whopping 36 players." "It was a game of Uno, and Junior was the only one who was able to finish." "It took way longer than we expected, and Junior fell asleep waiting for everyone else." "We had to end the game, and decide second on back by how many cards they had." "With Junior being the first back to back challenge winner of the season, he now sits just 9 points outside of the top 20." "Can he make up those 9 points by getting three straight wins?" "Find out on this episode of the race around the states."
Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.
The Vegas challenge had just ended, and Junior was sitting on a bench, looking up at the sky. He wondered if Sarah was looking down upon him. Miles then sat down next to him. "Do you have any backup plans if you and Sanders ever break up?" she asked. "I never really thought about that, there's probably some girl back at home that might be interested" said Junior. "Or maybe there's a girl right next to you" said Miles. Junior just stared at Miles, looking confused. "Miles, do you have a crush on me?" he asked. "What's not to love about you?" asked Miles. "Sure you may have had a temper since you got out of the hospital, but you've got a kind heart." "I have no intentions of breaking up you and Sanders, but if something were to happen, i'm willing to be a backup." "Right, i'm not going to promise anything, but if something happens between me and Kendra, i'll probably consider you" said Junior.
(Confession cam- This was unexpected)
Junior- "Miles revealing she has feelings for me, completely comes out of nowhere." "I don't know how this game to be." "She knows that i'm a massive NASCAR fan, and seeing as how those cars run on gasoline motors, I think she'd be completely against it, considering how she feels about the environment."
Miles- "Automobiles are bad the environment, but it was worse before they were invented." "They used horses back them, burning natural resources is better than animal cruelty." "I had to tell Junior how I felt at some point, because two of our friends are hospital, and nobody knows who's going next."

(Room 5- the geniuses)
Mary and Ellody were working on Jay's left arm. There were sparks, metal grinding, and some minor grunts of pain from Jay. "There you go, good as new" said Mary. Jay lifted his arm, and saw that he now had a metal hand. "We took the hand that got chopped off, and measured it so we could get the correct size" said Ellody. "It works just the same as the old one, the only difference being you can't feel this one" said Mary. "All five fingers are accessible, and we even modified the joints so your hand can rotate at 360 degrees, and it's waterproof" said Ellody. "If it gets destroyed, come back to us and we'll make a new one" said Mary.

Jay- "They actually had to fuse the wires into my bone, in order to connect the hand to connect." "They were able to numb down the pain slightly, by feeding me peppermint." "The sweet taste, mostly distracted me from the pain."
Mary- "I think me and Ellody are the only ones here that actually know how to make prosthetic body parts."

(Room 8- Jay and Leshawna)
Jay walked into the room, and Hazel immediately flew onto his shoulder. "Leshawna, this is where we part ways" he said. "Me and Hazel are not sharing a hotel room, with somebody who likes to inflict harm upon others." "I told you I was sorry" said Leshawna. "And I told you I don't need any more of your lies" said Jay.
(Room 16- the ice dancers)
Jacques answered a knock on the door, and saw that it was Jay. "There is no way me and my owl are going to bunk with Leshawna, and seeing as how you two actually helped my brother when he got hurt, I thought i'd stay with you guys for the time being" said Jay. "I don't think so, two is company, but three is a crowd" said Jacques. "Oh I see how it is, what you two have is more than friendship, and you don't want me to intrude" said Jay. "No, we don't have feelings for each other" said Josee. "Jacques, why don't you want Jay to bunk with us?" "Well considering how we don't have bad blood between us anymore, I though after the competition we could go back to being partners, and I don't want to be replaced" said Jacques. "Do not worry, I have no intentions of becoming an ice dancer" said Jay. "Alright then, come on in" said Jacques. Before long, Jay had his sleeping bag ready, and he was the first one to fall asleep.
(Confession cam- We could all use some sleep)
Jacques- "Me and Josee have known each other since the fourth grade, and for the most part we've remained just friends." "Everything changed during the start of last season, and we've starting sharing a room." "She looks cute in her sleep, but of course I wasn't going to say that to her." "I think i'm starting to develop feelings for my best friend."
Josee- "I do not have a crush on Jacques, me and him are just friends." "Obviously he and I have given ourselves a bad reputation, given the things we did last season." "However, in between seasons, I have actually remained friends with the adversity twins." "Once a month since last season ended, the three of us have actually gotten together and had sleepovers." "Mickey and I were close friends, but I really never thought of him as date-worthy." "Jay on the other hand, is the more charming of the two." "Would it be weird if me and him started dating?"

(Room 9- the reality tv pros)
Noah opened the door upon Emma knocking on it. "Um Noah, i've thought long and hard about this, and I think we've reached a good point in our relationship" said Emma. "I figured we'd do this just for the night, we might do it in the future, but don't keep your hopes up." "What are you trying to tell me?" asked Noah. "Noah, do you want to sleep in the same bed?" asked Emma. Noah froze up, and stood there nervous. "It's just for one night, and I feel comfortable enough to sleep with you" said Emma. "Do you want Owen to leave the room?" asked Noah. "It's fine, we're just sleeping" said Emma. Once Noah got under the covers, Emma got in right next to him. Noah began sweating nervously, when she began leaning on his chest. "I love you Noah" purred Emma. Owen was watching this from the other side of the room, and thought it looked so cute.
(Room 3- father and son)
Dwayne was freezing in his bed, he just couldn't keep warm. It felt as if it was snowing outside.
**Flashback**
"Annie, are you okay?" asked Dwayne. "I'm fine, i'm just worried about Sarah" said Annie. "We have to find her fast, she's in terrible danger in this weather" said Dwayne. The two of them then saw something, that would scar Dwayne for life. Sarah was lying unconscious, face down. There was a giant hole in her back, with all of her blood gushing out. Right next to Sarah, was her spine. Dwayne began to panic. "No, no NOOOOOOOOOO!" He then began screaming, screaming as if he was being tortured in a horror film. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" "DAD, WAKE UP!"
**End of flashback**
Dwayne quickly woke up. His son was standing beside his bed. Almost everyone else in the competition, had gathered around to see what the hell was going on. Everyone except Leshawna, who still wasn't allowed to leave her room. "Dad, what is going on?" asked Junior. "You sound as if you just saw an orgy from hell." "Let me guess, you relived the memory of your son's injury, and pictured an alternate outcome, an outcome where Junior dies" said Taylor. There was no way, Dwayne was going to talk about what he just saw. "Everything is fine, nobody is dead, we're all still alive, and we're going to pretend that this never happened" he said. Tammy then began speaking in a completely different voice, and began rhyming.
A demon emerges from Hell

Tammy then started speaking normally again. "What happened?" "I dozed off for a second." "Your voice went deep, and you started rhyming about demons" said Lorenzo. "Oh dear, I must have been talking in my sleep again" said Tammy.
(Confession cam- WTF just happened?)
Ennui- "I am now starting to think, that Tammy and Leonard aren't crazy, and that they are magical." "Me and Crimson heard that exact prophecy somewhere before, every single word." "It means something, it's a sign that we're all in danger." "Tammy can't remember what she just said, or what it means." "She might know several things that we don't." "If another contestant has to leave due to a health issue, it cannot be Tammy." "If she goes down, we all go down."

The next morning, as they were on the bus to their next state, Josee was actually sitting next to Jay. "I remember the day the four of us became friends" said Jay. "We were bored inside that sauna, so we sang Australian music" said Josee. "He sang as he shoved, that jumbuck in his tucker bag" sang Jay. "You'll come a waltzing Matilda with me" said Josee.
Once they got off in Michigan they saw that it was nighttime, and there were lots of stars in the sky. I wasn't just a few stars, you could see billions of them just by looking. "Before we start this challenge, I have some good news" said Don. "Mickey has just been discharged from the hospital, and he is safe at home, back in Canada." Everyone began cheering, but's Jay's was the loudest. "YES, MY BROTHER IS GOING TO LIVE!" he shouted. "Now Jay, there is something I need to ask you" said Don. "What are some incurable diseases that you and your brother have?" "We have a bunch of health problems, but we've been cured" said Jay. "This is where I focus my attention to Harold" said Don. "Harold, I beg of you, just drop out of the competition and go home." Everyone stared at Don, as if he were crazy. "Listen Harold, I have nothing against you, but I am severely worried about your health" said Don. "I understand why Devin hand picked you, Junior's going through a tough time, and he needs a role model to be there for him." "But I looked at your medical records, and since your birth, you have had more medical problems than both of the adversity twins combined, multiplied by 10." "Some problems still continued to plague you during your time on Total drama." "One noticeable issue, is your heart problems, when running faster than 8 mph, combined with being a type 1 diabetic." "Think about your wife, Izzy doesn't want to see you get hurt, or worse killed." "I'm well aware of the danger i'm putting myself in, but I have had a lot to prove since Duncan stole my underwear, framed me for leaving on the floor, and then exposed my penis on live television" said Harold.
(Confession cam- Duncan is an asshole)
Junior- "I knew it, I knew it wasn't Harold's fault."
Geoff- "Am I going to be the cause of Harold's death?"

"I was a punching bag on Total drama, the nerdy guy who always got picked on for no reason" said Harold. "But I am not weak, I am a powerful human being, and if I die during this competition, i'll be dying with a smile on my face." "It's going to take a lot to kill me, and I refuse to go down without a fight." "Very well then, here are the rules for the challenge" said Don. "We are quite close to Canada, hence why there are so many stars out, it's because we're so far up north." "You're all going to start here at the starting line, and the winner will be the first one to navigate to the finish." "With how dark it is outside, you'll all need headlamps, even with the bright stars shining the way." "You have a long way to go, it's an entire five miles to the finish line." "Of course i'm not having you take your time as this is a race, but I do want you to enjoy the beautiful bright sky as you're running, just don't let it distract you too much."
Everyone had their head lamps strapped on, and were lined up at the starting line. Harold actually backed up several feet. He was going to get a running start from behind them, and use that moment to launch ahead of everyone else. When Don began talking, Harold began running. "On your mark, get set, GOOOOOO!" Harold quickly jumped ahead in front of everyone else, and was running at his full speed.
Tom was with Gerry and MacArthur. "I think your partner finally convinced Tammy to have a Budweiser" said MacArthur. "What makes you think that?" asked Gerry. "She wouldn't be going on about demons, if she wasn't under the influence" said MacArthur. "Actually I think she was joking, she was just trying to lighten the mood, because we were all scared for Dwayne" said Tom.
(Confession cam- A drunk man walks into a bar, then into a table, then into the women's restroom)
Gerry- "I'm pretty sure Pete was only joking when he was offering Tammy beer."

Jen was with Brody and Jacques. "So, what's up with you guys always wearing pink?" asked Jen. "This is just my ice dancing uniform, i'm just used to it" said Jacques. "My grandmother made me this pink shirt, before she moved on to a better place" said Brody. "Oh, sorry about your loss" said Jen. "No she isn't dead, the better place she went to is Scotland" said Brody.

Jen- "Ah yes Scotland, the only place in the world where it's normal for a dude to wear a skirt."

Lorenzo was with Josee and Owen. "I don't understand how you can sleep without the risk of an owl crapping on you" said Lorenzo. "Hazel's a trained owl, if she needs to go to the bathroom, Jay can just open the window and have her do it outside" said Josee.

Owen- "I remember what happened when I needed to poop outside, it ended up costing me a million dollars."

Chet was with Leshawna and Carrie. "Why doesn't Jay want to accept my apology?" asked Leshawna. "I didn't mean to break his hand, it was an accident." "Probably because you accused Junior of injuring himself, and blaming it on Loki" said Lorenzo. "Plus you don't seem to give a single damn about Junior's emotional trauma." "I don't know how long you have with Mickey being discharged, at some point he's going to be cleared to compete again, and you'll be leaving." "You need to apologize to Junior, as soon as possible."
(Confession cam- Just say sorry)
Carrie- "If Junior never had his accident, things probably would be a lot better." "The goths would still have Loki with them, Junior would still be happy with no grudge towards anyone, Mickey wouldn't have gotten hurt, and Devin, Devin...I'm sorry, I can't mention the name of my boyfriend without crying."

Dwayne was running with Ryan. "Dude, why are you still having nightmares about your son's injury?" asked Ryan. "He made a full recovery over a year ago, he's fine now, get over it." "He's never going to make a full recovery, you don't know how he's feeling right now, because you don't have a giant X mark across your face" snapped Dwayne angrily. Dwayne began thinking. Why was he still having flashback's of his daughter's death? Why has Junior been throwing tantrums ever since he got out of the hospital? If God loves all of his children then why would he kill an innocent little girl? What cruel God would allow an innocent boy to be attacked by something as peaceful as a bunny rabbit?
Junior was with Leonard and Kelly. Leonard had his wand out, and was muttering some type of incantation. "And what spell is this supposed to be?" asked Junior. "I'm cursing you, you shall not win three consecutive challenges, and knock me out of the chase" said Leonard.
(Confession cam- Magic)
Kelly- "Maybe that wizard can hypnotize Taylor, and actually have her do her chores when I ask her too."

Kitty was with Geoff and Sanders. "Geoff, unlike my boyfriend, I actually give a crap about you" said Sanders. "Well that's good to know" said Geoff. "But despite the fact that I don't hate you like he does, I do acknowledge that you deserve punished for your actions" said Sanders. "Why are you wishing bad things on Geoff?" asked Kitty. "Are you salty because you were runner up to him last year?" "No, but I am saying, that you can't expose somebody naked on tv without their consent, and not expect repercussions" said Sanders.
(Confession cam- If you can't do the time, don't do the crime)
Kitty- "As much as I think this whole lawsuit filing is excessive, I sympathize with Harold." "Remember that story about the pool party bikini top incident?" "There were 14 people there who saw my nipples." "I know about the embarrassment of having private parts exposed."

Emma was with Ennui and Taylor. "Guys, this may sound weird, but the strange things Tammy was saying last night, turns out to be a prophecy" said Ennui. "How do you know that?" asked Emma. "I vaguely remember me and Crimson reading it somewhere, but I don't remember where" said Ennui. "I'm not buying it, we all know the Larpers are weird, you're obviously believing this prophecy crap because you're taking pity on them" said Taylor.
(Confession cam- that's kind of rude)
Taylor- "Why am I surrounded by morons?"
Emma- "I'm really 50/50 as to how I feel about Taylor." "She's a spoiled brat, but she's not evil." "She shows legit concern when someone is in danger, and even signed Mickey's headgear." "But when she's not nice to somebody, it really shows, and she has a temper." "I think the turning point might have been when Junior nearly got killed by Loki." "As rude as she can be sometimes, she'd never want to see anybody get hurt." "I'll give her this, she's behaving better now, than last season."

Ellody was with Jay and Spud. Jay was testing his robotic hand, and saw that it could indeed make a full rotation. "Wow, what do I have to do to get a sweet hand like that?" asked Spud. "Chop off your current one, then got to the geniuses for a prosthetic" said Jay. "Oh God, seems as though you have to pay a hefty price for something that awesome" said Spud. "This isn't awesome, i'd rather have my old hand, which I know I can't have" said Jay.
(Confession cam- Somebody give me a hand with this)
Ellody- "It's obvious that Spud is not familiar with the concept of amputation, and how it can permanently affect someone's life."

Mary was with Crimson and Miles. "Tammy isn't going crazy, the words that she said last night were an actual prophecy" said Crimson. "I'm not saying I don't believe you, i'm just saying that most fortune tellers don't really know the future, and they just make predictions at random" said Mary.
(Confession cam- I can't read horoscopes)
Miles- "As much as I would like it to happen, I don't think my future involves Junior at all." "Not that Tammy can actually inform me, she can't remember even making her last prediction."

Stephanie was with Rock and Pete. Because he was running at an old age, Pete began to sweat. "Losing...strength...need...booze" he panted. "I don't think alcohol is going to hydrate you enough" said Stephanie. "Yeah, go for a six pack of red bull instead" said Rock.
(Confession cam- Even if it's not alcohol, drink it responsibly)
Stephanie- "That's the best he can come up with?" "A six pack of red bull?" "What the hell are these people smoking?"

Noah was with Laurie and Tammy. "So let me get this straight, you fell asleep over somebody screaming, you don't remember what you were dreaming about, and you can't remember saying anything?" asked Noah. "I guess that's what happened, either that or I added too many snake sticks to my potion" said Tammy.
(Confession cam- Snakes, why did it have to be snakes?)
Laurie- "She had me worried, for a second I thought she meant an actual snake." "Then I realized she was talking about snakewood."
**End confessional**
Harold was far ahead of everyone else. He was running at his full speed, which was 20 mph. He was getting tired, as he had been suffering from major heart palpitations for the past hour. He was red in the face, and it felt as though he couldn't go any further, but he refused to slow down. Then...it happened. Harold was so focused on getting to the finish line, he didn't see the tree stump in front of him, until he tripped on it. Harold fell over, and landed face first on another tree stump. The hard impact smashed the light in his head lamp, snapped his glassed in half, and severely broke his nose. Harold slowly got up, his nose badly deflated, covered with a purple bruise, blood heavily coming out of the nostrils. Harold then felt his stomach really hurting. He clutched his gut tight with both arms, and began to vomit. None of the stuff coming out of his mouth was puke, it was nothing but his own blood.
When he was finally done throwing up, Harold could barely see his skin in the moonlight. It was going extremely pale. His chest was now hurting, as if it was being repeatedly whacked with a frying pan. Harold knew he couldn't go any further. He had no light source, his glasses were broken, and his body was aching. The he remembered everything he went through on Total drama. He was the one nerdy guy who always got hurt. The one with the incredibly bad luck. One of the biggest underlings in the history of reality tv. No, it was not going to end this way. This time he was getting up after falling down. He's not going to go back to the hospital for the 3,000th time in his life. There was no way he could win this challenge, but he was going to at least finish it.
He squinted his eyes, trying to get some kind of shadow from the moonlight, and get a slight glimpse of what was ahead of him without glasses. Harold slowly stepped with his left foot, and then his right. He quickly began to pick up speed, until he was running at 23 mph. His heart was was beating really fast right now, too fast for Harold to handle. His entire body was sore, blood still dripping from his nose. Then he started painfully crying tears of blood. His face was an absolute mess. He felt as if he couldn't go any further, but he still continued to run at full speed. It felt like forever, but he finally reached the finish line. Don was horrified at what he saw. "Water...water...water...kill...me...already" moaned Harold in a weak dry voice.
Medical interns were quickly rushed onto the scene. They gave him some ice water, a snickers bar, and several insulin shots to his stomach.
Eventually, the rest of the contestants finished the race, over an hour later. Noah came in second, Tammy third, Laurie fourth, Leonard fifth, Junior sixth, Kelly seventh, Geoff eighth, Kitty ninth, Sanders tenth, Emma eleventh, Ennui twelfth, Taylor thirteenth, Jacques fourteenth, Brody fifteenth, Jen sixteenth, Crimson seventeenth, Mary eighteenth, Miles nineteenth, Stephanie twentieth, Pete twenty first, Rock twenty second, Jay twenty third, Spud twenty fourth, Ellody twenty fifth, Tom twenty sixth, Gerry twenty seventh, MacArthur twenty eighth, Lorenzo twenty ninth, Josee thirtieth, Owen thirty first, Chet thirty second, Carrie thirty third, Leshawna thirty fourth, Dwayne thirty fifth, and Ryan thirty sixth.
Harold began crying again. "I'm sorry, what I did was stupid, I thought I could make it" he whimpered. "No Harold, I was stupid for doubting you, and i'm sorry" said Don. "You did make it." "You did it, you won the challenge." Harold could not believe what he was hearing. The hell he went through in the past couple of hours was worth it, he managed to achieve the impossible.
(Confession cam- He did make it)
Harold- (Is seen with his glasses put back together with masking tape, and a cast on his nose) "I did it, I actually made it." "I may be a whopping 111 points away from the wild card spot, but even if I don't make the chase, i've proved that i'm not weak." (Begins to cry again) "Izzy, this one was for you sweetheart."
Ryan- "Normally i'd complain about finishing last in a foot race with how athletic I am, but in this case, I'm really glad Harold won."
Noah- "So far so good, I just got the points lead"
Junior- "Alright, I'm the wildcard position, but only by one point." "I just need to keep having good finishes, and I'll be in the chase."
**End confessional**
The podium ceremony was happening. Tammy stood on the third place pedestal, Noah on the second place pedestal, and Harold on the winners pedestal. "Harold, for overcoming impossible odds to get your first win of the season, you just got yourself a radical skateboard" said Don. Harold was so tired after what he went through, that he went off to bed, before the camera went off the air.

Authors note: I bet you didn't expect two love triangles to come up. Those two being Jacques/Josee/Jay, and Sanders/Junior/Miles.
Tammy's prophecy is actually going to be a very important plot point later on. Her not remembering what she said, is basically having a Professor Trelawney moment. I'm not going to reveal what it is, but if you read it closely, you might be able to figure it out yourself.
I know I sound like a broken record, but Harold is my favorite of the 22 original TDI contestants. I feel really bad for him, essentially being a human punching bag during his time on Total drama. I wanted to give him a special moment, a moment where he actually stands up and keeps going. He's done being a nerdy weakling who constantly gets hurt, he's a fighter that's never going to give up.
With it being confirmed that Mickey is being discharged, it's safe to assume that things are starting to become happy again. It looked as though we may have had another contestant dropout, but Harold just kept going. No matter how bad things may look, you always need to have hope, and not give up.
