The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, Izzy came in as a substitute for Brody, and we now have a married couple competing on the show." "When we went to a beach in Delaware, Harold dominated on a jet ski, managing to score his fifth win in a row." "If he plays his cards right, he just might get into the wild card spot, by the end of this challenge." "We all simply just have to wait and see if he can do it, on this episode of, the race around the states."
Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.
Everyone was having fun on the beach, except Leshawna, who was still grounded to her hotel room. Owen was giving his thoughts on this to Don. "I really think Leshawna's punishment is too harsh, she should be allowed to have fun with us" said Owen. "I understand that the punishment is harsh, but I really have no choice" said Don. "I really try not to officiate when you guys fight, but i'm forced to take action when the living creature that is attacked, is not a fellow contestant." "Also, this incident involved Jay getting his hand chopped off." "If I go back on my word, and change my mind about the punishment, Jay is going to be livid." "It's going to lead to another fight." "I don't dislike Leshawna in the slightest, but I still believe that the punishment fits the crime."
Miles was asking Sanders to do an interesting favor for her. "I know you and Junior are dating, and I have no intentions of breaking you two up, but I really want me and him to have our picture taken, in our swimsuits." "Of course, I wouldn't do it without asking his girlfriend for permission first." Sanders reluctantly allowed Junior and Miles to be in a picture together, and was the one to take the photograph.
Sanders was then talking to Junior about this, as they were sitting down and having a drink. "Is Miles really a failsafe for you, if we were to somehow break up?" asked Sanders. "Well her confession came completely out of nowhere, she just wanted to get it out there, in case something really bad were to happen" said Junior. "I mean think about it, three of our friends, are gone due to health issues." "That's what my dad is probably fearing, because shortly after her confession, Dad starts screaming bloody murder in his sleep." "What fascinates me, is despite her crush on you, she still wants the two of us to keep dating" said Sanders. "I guess she just has feelings for me, but thinks me and you make a better couple" said Junior. "One thing is blatantly clear, this is not the first time you got involved in a love triangle" said Sanders. "If you are talking about my old crush on Carrie, I completely lost interest in her, before last season even ended" said Junior. "Wait a minute, I thought you wanted to be my girlfriend, because Carrie was going out with Devin" said Sanders. "I lost interest in her, because I thought Devin said it best, she was too old for me" said Junior. "But then I thought that there was a chance he might be wrong, because somebody five years older than me, asked me out on a date." "Yeah, I was worried the five year age difference, might complicate things" said Sanders. "Listen, so many things were happening at once back then" said Junior. "I was still hurting from my injury, and that was the first time a woman ever said they were in love with me." "And I am being 100% honest, you are much more than a simple crush, I never want to break up with you." "I love you Kendra Sanders." Sanders began to get teary eyed. Her boyfriend actually felt the same way about her. She then spoke. "I love you too, Dwayne Santori the second." The two of them then began kissing.
Several hours passed, and everyone had changed back into their regular clothes. Most of the contestants had gone back to the hotel. Noah and Emma were the only ones left on the beach. The two of them were watching the sun set, off in the distance. "The things that have happened so far in this competition, it's just crazy" said Noah. "The entire time, the two of us have always stood by each other" said Emma. "It's beautiful, the sunset." Noah began to get tears in his eyes. "What's the matter Noah?" asked Emma. "Why are you sad?" "I'm not sad, this is just a really romantic moment between us" sobbed Noah. "When I met you, you changed my whole life, for the better." "I want this to last forever, so I ask that you do this for me." Noah got down on one knee and opened up a ring box. Emma couldn't believe it, inside the box, was a diamond encrusted ring. Noah was crying as he asked the ultimate question. "Emma, will you marry me?" Emma sniffed, and now she was crying too. "Yes" she sobbed. "Yes, i'll marry you, i'll be your wife." She slid the ring onto her finger. With both of them still teary eyed, they leaned in, and kissed each other on the lips.
(Confession cam- This is a powerful moment)
Noah- (Is still in tears) "I thought long and hard about it, and I just felt like it was the right choice." "I really want to dedicate myself to her." "I was so worried she was going to say no."
Emma- "I though I was done with romance, after that nasty break up with Jake." "I didn't want anything to do with love, ever again." "And then, I met Noah." "He made me the happiest I ever felt." "He helped me to realize, that the world isn't actually out to get me." "There are things more important than money, I honestly don't care if I win or lose this whole competition." "Yeah, i've been getting a lot of podium finishes, but there are more important things than winning."
**End confessional**
(Room 16- the ice dancers)
Jay and Jacques were fast asleep, while Josee was talking to Hazel. "Do you think Jay likes me?" "I mean you should know all about him, you've been hibernating in his ear the last decade." "Oh my God, i'm so desperate for Jay, that I have to resort to talking to a bird." Hazel angrily poked her beak into the back of Josee's hand. "Alright alright, you are more than just a bird, you're a symbol of peace" said Josee.
(Room 12- Harold and Izzy)
The sun was just coming up. Harold was asleep in bed, in nothing but his briefs. He was woken up, by the sound of a toilet flushing. "If I were you, I wouldn't go in that bathroom for the next 4 hours" said Izzy. Harold reached for his glasses, but found nothing. He searched around the room, but found nothing. Eventually, it was almost time to get on the bus. Harold remembered what he was able to do back in Michigan. He was going to have to hope for the best, and try to compete without glasses. Due to his bad vision, Izzy had to help Harold get dressed.
As they went down to the bus, Harold had to squint, in an effort to try and see. Everyone was now waiting for Don to arrive. "Harold, are you wearing contact lenses?" asked Lorenzo. "I wish I was, I can't find my glasses, i'll just have to go on without them" said Harold. "Okay then, burial or cremation?" asked Stephanie. "Very funny" said Harold sarcastically. "It worked out for me back in Michigan, if I did it once, I can do it again." "Harold, please don't be mad at me, I did it for the greater good" said Emma. "Oh God, what did you do?" asked Harold. "I know where your glasses are, I stole them" said Emma. "Sweetheart, you're acting out of character, it's not like you to steal something from another contestant" said Noah. "I have no ill intentions" said Emma. "Now Harold, I will give you back your glasses, if you promise to drop all of the sexual harassment charges." Harold got annoyed by what he heard. "Alright, what are you playing at?" he asked. "You are taking this whole situation, way too seriously" said Emma. "This lawsuit, is too excessive, and you can do better than this." "This is for the greater good, i'm trying to establish peace between all 36 of us, so-" "SHUT THE FUCK UP!" shouted Jay. Everyone now had their full attention towards Jay. "YOU TALK ABOUT TRYING TO MAKE PEACE, WHEN IT'S YOUR FAULT MY BROTHER, ALMOST DIED!" "Okay, back up, nobody was at fault for what happened in the sunflower maze, that was a freak accident" said Emma. "How the heck, am I to blame for Mickey's injury?" "IT'S BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU DID TO HIM LAST SEASON!" shouted Jay. "HE WAS PUSHING HIMSELF TOO FAR, BECAUSE HE WAS TRYING TO PROVE HIMSELF!" "HE WOULDN'T HAVE BEEN TRYING SO HARD TO WIN, IF HE WASN'T UNFAIRLY ELIMINATED LAST SEASON!" "THAT MOVE YOU PULLED ON US IN FINLAND, SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN YOU DISQUALIFIED!" "YOU WERE 100% WILLING TO SEE THE INNOCENT GET HURT, JUST SO YOU COULD GET INSIDE OF NOAH'S PANTS!" Upon hearing this comment, Noah was starting to feel uncomfortable. Jay was pissed off beyond belied, and punched Emma in the stomach. Unfortunately, it was with his prosthetic hand. Upon the hard metal hitting her gut, Emma started grunting in pain. She held her stomach with both hands, and slowly got down to the ground.
(Confession cam- Jay has got some rage)
Kitty- "Ever since he got Hazel removed, Jay has completely changed his personality." "He used to have several weaknesses, and had panic attacks very easily." "Now, he's not afraid to let someone know if he's angry at them, and he's even willing to get violent." "I miss the old Jay."
Noah- "Me and Emma never informed anyone about our proposal." "Only the audience watching on tv, is aware of what happened." "I still love Emma, i'm not retracting my proposal, but the way we became a couple, wasn't without it's problems."
**End confessional**
Don was soon on the scene, and had Emma slightly lift up her shirt, revealing a decent bruise around her bellybutton. Don gave Emma an ice pack, to put over the bad bruise. "Don, i'll be okay, I can continue on in the competition" said Emma in a weak voice. Jay had stepped away while nobody was looking, and came back holding Harold's glasses. "Emma thought it would be a good idea, to hide them in her lunchbox" said Jay. Harold then put his glasses back on. "Alright people, we're wasting time, get on the bus" said Don.
As they were traveling, they saw snow around them. "We are in the state of New Hampshire, where the most popular sport is skiing" said Don. "With the temperature out here, you guys definitely want to put on your winter gear."
Everyone was led inside a warm log cabin, where everyone put on their winter clothes. "How the heck does somebody feel it necessary to put on winter clothes, when they have temperature dyslexia?" asked Laurie. "While I can't feel the cold, it doesn't mean I can't suffer from frostbite" said Jay.
Everyone was soon at the top of a mountain, each wearing a pair of skis. "Okay, first one to the bottom of the mountain, will be the winner" said Don. "On your mark, get set, GOOO!" Everyone then set off down the mountain. Harold was thinking back to his honeymoon with Izzy, when they went skiing in Aomori city. He thought to himself, "What was it the instructor told me?"
Flashback
Izzy was wearing a suit, that was quite revealing. "I feel like i'm wearing nothing at all." "Nothing at all." "Nothing at all."
End of Flashback
"Darn it, sexy Izzy is interfering" thought Harold. He then slipped, and his legs were sliding outward. "Oh my legs, this is the worst pain ever." Harold then got hit in the groin multiple times, with piles of snow. He was quickly reaching the bottom, and was coming in hot. Harold went right across the finish line, with Emma coming in second, Carrie third, Ryan fourth, Kitty fifth, Izzy sixth, Sanders seventh, Tammy eighth, Chet ninth, Crimson tenth, Lorenzo eleventh, Noah twelfth, Kelly thirteenth, Taylor fourteenth, Junior fifteenth, Geoff sixteenth, Stephanie seventeenth, Jen eighteenth, Jay nineteenth, Ennui twentieth, Leonard twenty first, Leshawna twenty second, Laurie twenty third, Mary twenty fourth, Jacques twenty fifth, Rock twenty sixth, Pete twenty seventh, Tom twenty eighth, Spud twenty ninth, Gerry thirtieth, Ellody thirty first, MacArthur thirty second, Dwayne thirty third, Miles thirty fourth, Josee thirty fifth, and Owen thirty sixth.
Then there was a problem. Harold was out of control, and couldn't stop. He braced himself, and closed his eyes. He ended up crashing through a wall, where an elderly couple was laying in bed. The couple was calm about this situation, and the wife said, "I think there's somebody at the door."
Over at the bottom of the mountain, everyone was concerned. "Okay, this does not look good, that crash we heard didn't sound very survivable" said Mary. "We better go and see what it was, and hopefully he's still in one piece" said Don. And then came the funny part. They found Harold and the elderly couple, casually playing a game of bridge, as if nothing had happened.
(Confession cam- That is freaking hilarious)
Harold- "I feel a little bit guilty." "The guy I have to pass for the final wild card spot, isn't able to gain any points."
Noah- "I proposed to her, and now we are tied for the points lead."
**End confessional**
The podium ceremony was now happening. Carrie was on the third place pedestal, Emma was on the second place pedestal, and Harold was on the winners pedestal. "Harold, you are on a roll" said Don. "That pair of ski's you just rode on, you get to keep it, and we'll even throw in a snowboard." "OH MY GOD, HE'S ACTUALLY HERE!" shouted Jay. Standing right there, was Mickey, his headgear covered in the names of his friends. Mickey ran up to Jay, and hugged him. "Jay, i've missed you so much" said Mickey. "I've missed you too Mickey, we all have" said Jay. Emma then turned to Harold. "Listen Harold, i'm sorry I took your glasses" she said. "I didn't know that what I was doing was wrong." "Ah well, we live and learn" said Harold. "Mickey, Jay, i'm really sorry for sabotaging you guys last season, that was really dishonest" said Emma. "Everything's fine, I made a full recovery, and now I can compete with you guys again" said Mickey. "And Emma, i'm sorry for punching you, I was way out of line" said Jay. " It's okay, i'm just glad that we're on good terms again" said Emma. Josee then shook Mickey's hand. "It's great to have you back" she said. She then looked at Jay. "I guess that once Leshawna leaves, you'll want to move back in with your twin." "I wouldn't worry about it too much, i'll still be around" said Jay. "It was fun hanging out with you, and Hazel of course" said Jacques. "Hey Jay, do you wanna, I mean if, I understand if" said Josee. She was looking quite awkward. Jay took her by surprise, when he randomly kissed her on the lips. Josee just closed her eyes and returned the kiss. Jacques just gave Jay a look that said, if you must. "So Noah, do you want to tell everyone?" asked Emma. "Everyone, I have an announcement to make, me and Emma are engaged" said Noah. Everyone was shocked to hear this, and Kitty was the first one to clap. Slowly but surely, everyone else began clapping. Then, they turned into loud cheers. Don decided not to say anything, and ended the episode on a high note.

Authors note: There are obviously people who claim that Fanfiction writers, are better than the ones in the actual show. But honestly, I can't find a single fanon ship, better than Noah X Emma. Out of all the total drama characters, Noah definitely had the best character development. When we first see him, he's kind of a know it all, and can sometimes act like a jerk. But slowly as the show progressed, he actually backed off a bit on the rudeness. When he fell in love with Emma, his whole life got turned around. He learned not to always be so cynical, and to enjoy the simplest things in life. Noah, is one of the most underrated characters in the history of Total drama, and with one of the best character arcs, in the history of cartoons.
Well, the Josee X Jay ship has finally set sail. And those of you that worried about Mickey possibly not coming back, don't have to fear anymore. This just goes to show, that every cloud has a silver lining. Everybody has bad days, everybody makes mistakes, but it's part of life. You can always find happiness, somewhere deep inside you.
