The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, due to not feeling well courtesy of food poisoning, Lorenzo was forced to temporarily take a break, so Dawn stepped up to the plate to substitute for him." Dawn was trying to talk some sense into Harold, and convince him that a lawsuit wasn't going to get anywhere, but Harold would not have any of it." "Because the bus was undergoing maintenance, we had to travel on an Amtrak passenger train, which made Gerry feel uncomfortable." "The contestants then had a Louisiana cook off, and despite his vision going bad without his glasses, Harold was able to garner his eleventh win of the season, and his twelfth consecutive podium." "Going into the second half of the regular season, Harold sits only four points outside of the top ten." "Can he make up those four points?" "Find out on this episode of, the race around the states."
Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.
During that nights self defense class, Officer Chambers noticed that Jay was not putting his all into it. "Jay, why are you not going 100%?" asked Officer Chambers. "I don't want anybody to get seriously hurt, courtesy of my prosthetic hand" said Jay. "Okay, I can understand how this can be a problem" said Officer Chambers. "Instead of trying to fight with one hand, see if you can do anything with your feet." Unfortunately, this idea did not work at all. When attempting to kick Stephanie in the gut, he ended up being held up by one leg.
(Confession cam- Put him down, gently)
Stephanie- "I didn't know he was as light as a feather, I had no trouble lifting him up." "Maybe the next to time me and Ryan hit the gym, we'll take him with us."
Jay- "This hand is putting me at a disadvantage, how do I lightly punch someone without breaking a few ribs?"

After the self defense classes were over, Junior, Jay, and Dawn met up off camera, in an abandoned garage. "I don't understand why we have to have an intervention" said Junior. "I can't believe you seriously don't get it" said Dawn. "You just need to need to go up to your father, and tell him that you know about Sarah." "No, he doesn't want anything do with her anymore, the last thing I want to do is traumatize him" said Junior. "And if anyone else finds out about it, they are going to spill the beans, and Dad is going to have a panic attack." "If you don't want anybody to know about it, why did you tell me?" asked Jay. "I would think you would tell Sanders about it, you seriously don't think you can trust your own girlfriend?" "Kendra does not need to know, I don't want her to lose focus on the race because she's too worried about me" said Junior. "I can't believe this had gotten to the point where you have to lie to a police officer" said Jay. "If nobody needs to know about this, then why did you tell Jay of all people?" asked Dawn. "Because me and him were in the same situation at the time, he needed to realize that he wasn't the only one who knew what it was like to lose a sibling" said Junior. "I wouldn't have told him anything, if I wasn't 100% positive that Mickey was going to die." Jay then leaned against a wall. "Well, he didn't die, but he'll never be able to see anything ever again" he said sadly. "Man, this season has been hell for me." "The only good things that have happened to me are getting a pet owl, and a girlfriend." "Jay, be realistic here, do you legitimately love Josee?" asked Junior. "Why are you assuming I don't?" asked Jay. "Do you admire her based off of who she is, or what she did?" asked Junior. "Are you only falling for her because she helped Mickey out of that maze?" "Junior, you are definitely overthinking this" said Dawn. "I'm not jumping to conclusions, this is all theoretical" said Junior. "Isn't it weird how the ice dancers were complete assholes last season, and then less than only four challenges in, they start acting nice all of a sudden?" "Would we still give a crap about them if Mickey's injury never happened?" "I'd still care, i've been friends with them since before they started acting nice" said Jay. "I'll say it again, i'm not assuming anything, this is just a possibility" said Junior. "Did Jose really care about Mickey's condition, or was that a publicity stunt to make herself look good?" "I think you should actually talk to the ice dancers about this" said Dawn. "Yeah, you're right, i'll talk to them at some point" said Junior.
(Room 12- Harold and Izzy)
Harold was currently in the process of unclogging the toilet. "Dear Lord Izzy, what did you eat that ended up clogging this thing?" asked Harold. "Oh, trust me, you do not want to know" said Izzy. "Oh gosh, maybe you shouldn't have said anything at all" said Harold.
(Room 3- Father and son)
Junior was asleep, holding on to his teddy bear as if it was the only thing he had left in life, and his dream was causing him to have a panic attack. His father was lying on the ground, blood pouring out of his chest where his heart should be. What Junior was seeing was absolutely destroying him. His dad, the one who stood by him for 14 years, had just been brutally killed right in front of him. Out of the corner of his eye, Junior saw the eyes of a rabbit, it was Loki. Loki was hungry, and began eating away at his father's flesh. Junior was absolutely frozen in fear, he couldn't do anything except stand there and cry. "Son, wake up."
Junior just woke up, breathing heavily. His pajama shirt was soaked with his tears, and his eyes were going red. Standing right next to him, was his father. "Junior, are you alright?" asked Dwayne. "I don't want to talk about it" said Junior. "Did you have a nightmare?" asked Dwayne. "I SAID I DON'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT!" snapped Junior. Dwayne stepped back in shock, as even more tears began coming down Junior's face. Junior then hid under his blanket, and began to throw a muffled tantrum. "Come on Junior, what's bothering you?" asked Dwayne. "Dad please, I don't feel like talking about it, just leave me alone" said Junior. Dwayne didn't want to leave his son alone, but he was worried that if he continued to search for an answer, he'd make his son even more upset. Dwayne got under the covers of his own bed, looked over at his son, and let out a sigh. What he didn't expect, was for Junior to grab his teddy bear and run towards him. "I'm sorry I yelled at you, i'm just having a rough night, and I really don't want to talk about it" said Junior. "Daddy, do you think I could sleep with you tonight?" Dwayne was absolutely shocked when he heard these words. The last time he and Junior had slept in the same bed because he had a nightmare, was when Junior was only 8. Dwayne began to think that this was something involving the Loki incident from a year ago, and realized that his son needed him. "Alright son, come on in" said Dwayne. Junior got under the covers, squeezing his teddy bear, and was still silently crying. His father began rubbing the back of his head, smiling. "It's alright Junior, i've got you, you're not alone" he said.
(Confession cam- An example of a loving father)
Dwayne- "I just don't get it, why does he not want to tell me what's wrong?" "Whatever the problem is, no matter how bad it is, I can help him get through it." "Why can't I communicate with my son?"

The next morning, everyone was ready to go to the next state, and now the bus was operable again. They got on the bus, and once they got off, they were in a highly wooded area. "Okay everyone, we are in the state of Ohio, the state famous for it's scenery, and it's many gold courses" said Don. "This challenge is going to be a golf cart race, from one end of the course, to the other." "The race is entirely uphill, and in case somebody were to crash and fall out of the cart, you must all wear a closed face helmet."
(Confession cam- Safety first)
Mary- "Okay, you are going to find this interesting." "It's already been confirmed that in between challenges, me and Ellody have been helping Junior with his homework." "The one thing that he never needs our help with, is auto mechanics." "In fact, despite being five years younger, he knows more about cars than we do." "This challenge right here, could be the closest we get to a car race." "In other words, yeah, Junior has a 70% chance of winning."
**End confessional**
Everybody was buckled into the carts, ready to drive up this four and a half mile hill. Everyone soon took off, and Junior went looking for the first drafting partner he could find. He immediately went right to Kelly's rear bumper, and the two began to pull away. Golf carts could go at a maximum of 14 mph, but thanks to Junior's strategy, he and Kelly gapped themselves from the rest of the field, going 20 mph.
Soon the two of them were coming up to the final corner, and it was a sharp one. Junior finally made his move, and jumped to the outside. As Kelly was slowing down to make the corner, Junior stayed on the gas. They both were turning to the right. Junior then got out of the gas, put on the brake, and turned the steering wheel to the left. He was counter steering through the corner. Once he took over the race lead, he lost control of the cart, and completely spun out. Kelly passed him back, and went on to win. What was confusing, was that Junior didn't cross the line right after Kelly, and in fact was actually nowhere to be seen. Kitty soon came across the line in second, with her sister Emma close behind in third, Taylor fourth, Owen fifth, Chris sixth, Chet Seventh, Harold eighth, Dawn ninth, Crimson tenth, Jen eleventh, Laurie twelfth, Josee thirteenth, Tammy fourteenth, Noah fifteenth, Jay sixteenth, MacArthur seventeenth, Stephanie eighteenth, Izzy nineteenth, Leonard twentieth, Mary twenty first, Miles twenty second, Pete twenty third, Ennui twenty fourth, Rock twenty fifth, Spud twenty sixth, Ryan twenty seventh, Carrie twenty eighth, Tom twenty ninth, Ellody thirtieth, Gerry thirty first, Geoff thirty second, Dwayne thirty third, Sanders thirty fourth, and Jacques thirty fifth. But Junior was nowhere to be seen.
(Confession cam- Where did he go?)
Taylor- "Damnit, my pathetic excuse for a mother was the first of us to get a win." "The only way I can live this down, is by beating her in the overall competition."
Kelly- "I'm coming really close to putting Taylor in her place." "This win will show her who is in charge."
Jacques- "Well crap, i'm outside the top 20 again." "Making 35 points back up is going to be a lot of work."
Harold- "I still have no idea, how I managed to score a top 10 with my bad vision." "The bad news is my consecutive streak of podiums is finally over." "The good news is that i'm finally inside the top 10 in points." "If I can stay in the top 10 by the time the chase starts, i'll have a whopping 33 bonus points."
Sanders- "Okay, due to that poor performance, I now sit outside of the chase." "To get back in the top 10, me and my childhood friend are going to have a friendly duel."
Laurie- "Thanks to Harold getting into the top 10, I am now currently in as the second wild card." "I still have a chance at this."

"Guys, I need to address the elephant in the room before the podium ceremony" said Don. "Where the heck is Junior?" "Wait a minute, here's a clue, there's a tire carcass in the exact place he spun out" said Jen. "Wait a minute" said Owen as he examined a rusty piece of metal. "I think this is a railroad spike." "That's not all, there are tire tracks leading downhill" said Rock. "And there you have it, case closed" said Chris. "He blew a tire on the spike, slid down a hill, and fell to his death." "Now let's get through the ceremony already, so Don can pick out his substitute." "What the actual fuck is wrong with you?" asked Jay. "You're not nervous in the slightest that Junior might be seriously hurt?" "None of you should be nervous either, that's less competition for us in the race" said Chris. "That's it, I didn't want to do this, but you leave me no choice, i'm giving you the bird" said Jay. "You think i'm scared of a middle finger?" asked Chris. Jay then put two fingers in his mouth, and did a whistle. No more than 15 seconds later, some white goo ended up on Chris's head, and Hazel could be seen flying above him. "AAAAAHHHHH, THERE IS OWL SHIT IN MY HAIR!" shouted Chris. Everyone then began laughing at him.
(Confession cam- Shit happens)
Jay -"HAHAHAHAHAH!"
Sanders- "HAHAHAHAHA!"
Laurie- "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Noah- "HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Don- "HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" "CHRIS JUST GOT OWNED!"
**End confessional**
They followed the trail of tire marks to the bottom of the hill, and were horrified at what they saw. There was a destroyed golf cart, behind a giant hole in a brick wall. Lying on the other side, unconscious, was Junior. "JUNIOR NO!" shouted Dwayne horrified. He quickly ran over to his son, followed by Sanders and Miles. They took off his helmet, and saw that his forehead looked badly bruised. "Oh god, oh no, this is Loki all over again" said Miles. "This is bad, this is really bad, it's not very likely somebody could survive an impact like that" said Sanders. "Wait, he's breathing, and he has a pulse" said Dwayne. "There is no way we can transport him by ambulance, the ground isn't firm enough" said Don.
A few minutes later, a helicopter arrived on the scene. Air lifting Junior was not going to be an easy task. Junior's body was lying down at an awkward angle, and it was unknown if he had any broken bones. A gurney was carefully set down, and Junior was carefully settled in. When he was put inside the the helicopter, his father was on board waiting for him. "It's alright son, daddy will stand by you the entire time" said Dwayne.
(Confession cam- Supportive father)
Miles- "Oh no, Laurie is going to start blaming herself again." "As if that wasn't enough, the man that I have a crush on, may be leaving this world too soon."
Sanders- "You have no idea how much this terrifies me." "The number one love of my life, about to be killed by a golf kart." "I swear to god, when I find the person who set down that spike, they are going to get it."
**End confessional**
The podium ceremony wasn't very happy, considering what just happened. Emma was on the third place pedestal, Kitty was on the second place pedestal, and Kelly was on the winner's pedestal. "Well Kelly, due to obvious circumstances, there isn't a big celebration" said Don. "On the bright side, you just won yourself a $1000 dollar McDonald's gift card." "Well folks, we all hope the best for Dwayne Junior." "Until then, peace out."

Authors note: The reason why Junior knows so much about Auto mechanics, comes from his vast knowledge of NASCAR, and how much he studies the inner workings of the cars.
You would think that with me being a Dwayne Junior fan, I wouldn't have him suffer so much. But this is just the harsh reality of life, people get hurt every day.
As always, if you have an idea for a challenge in an upcoming state or a prize for a future challenge winner, feel free to let me know in a review.
Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
