The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, we finally figured out who was behind Mickey's shark attack, Lorenzo's food poisoning, and Junior's head on collision." "It was none other than Carson Matthew, Junior's former elementary school teacher." "Junior then decided to make a really dangerous decision." "Despite the fact he has a severe head injury, even though if he takes another similar hit his life will be over, Junior has decided not to drop out of the competition." "This is incredibly risky, as we are not even halfway done." "We then went to Montana, the lasso the cattle, and Jay was not having a good time at first." "Due this lactose intolerance acting up when he comes anywhere near cows, he had to make an emergency trip to the bathroom." "What he didn't realize, was that before he did that, he actually won." "This made him feel on top of the world, as he had never won anything before." "As if this day couldn't get any more better, Lorenzo was able to make a full recovery from his food poisoning, and is now back in the race." "He is still very well mathematically eligible for the chase, sitting 58 points outside the top 10." "But if he's able to get a win, he might be able to get in via a wild card spot." "Will Lorenzo find a way to sneak into the chase?" "We might find out on this episode of, the race around the states."

Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.

With Lorenzo now cleared to compete again, this meant that Dawn was no longer needed. She was waiting on a bus to take her back to Canada, and Junior was there to see her off. Junior's head was still hurting, and he could barely keep his eyes open. "I'm not going to bother saying anything, we're in camera range" said Dawn. "Whatever it is you wanted to say, it's probably just going to upset me, not that you're trying to of course" said Junior. Then the bus pulled up. "At some point, you'll realize what is right" said Dawn. She then got on the bus, and then she was gone.

During the self defense class later that day, they had finally gotten around to using weapons. They were obviously using the ones that were made out of foam, as using real weapons would result in somebody getting stabbed. Izzy was disappointed, when she found out they weren't going to be using fake bombs.

After the sun had gone down, Emma, Kitty, and Noah were relaxing in the hotel pool. "So, where do you two plan on having your wedding?" asked Kitty. "I think we've got the whole thing planned out" said Emma. "The idea is to have it on the first of January in London, right after Harold's knighting" said Noah. "I thought you were against having it in England because of the bad experience you had during Total drama world tour" said Kitty. "The number one thing that we are trying not to interfere with, is Harold's lawsuit" said Noah. "There is no way we are not inviting him, and we don't want to interfere with his own special moment." "If we try to schedule it any later, most of the people we're inviting won't be able to make it, they will all be in court."

(Room 2- the stepbrothers)

"It's great to have you back brother" said Chet. "It's great to be back, now i'm going to kick your ass" said Lorenzo. "Forget it, you're going down like a noob in call of duty" said Chet.

(Room 9- the reality tv pros)

Noah was sitting on the toilet, absolutely lost in thought. "The wedding just won't be complete, if Junior doesn't survive this race." "Why is he putting himself in this much danger?" "Doesn't he realize that he has a really high chance of getting killed?"

When he stepped out out of the bathroom, he didn't anticipate that he would see his fiancé wearing nothing but a red bra and red panties. "Is this going to be a running gag?" asked Noah. "Every time I take a dump, i'm going to end up seeing you half naked?" "If you want to" Emma teased. Noah then went red in the face. As they both got under the covers, Emma wrapped her arm around Noah, and Noah did the same for her. The two of them fell asleep with smiles on their faces.

(Room 4- the sisters)

"So what did happen in Toronto when you were 7?" asked Owen. "I was at a soccer game, and one of the players kicks was so terrible, that the ball went into the bleachers, knocked me out of my seat, and into a pile of horse poop" said Kitty. "As if it couldn't get any worse, I ended up breaking my middle finger, and when I tried to hold it up to indicate that it was broken, everyone thought I was flipping them off."

(Room 8- Jay and Chris)

As Chris and Officer Chambers were fast asleep, Jay was reading Hazel a bedtime story, from a Thomas the tank engine magazine. "Once an engine attached to a train, was afraid of a few drops of rain." "The points weren't set right, it came off with a fright, and a hand put it back on again."

(Confession cam- It took thirty years for it to get another tv adaptation)

Jay- "I wonder what the rest of the series would be like, if the people filming that actually set the points correctly." "Had the BBC not screwed up, the series could have been a longer running tv show then sesame street."

Everyone then got on the bus next morning, and got off in an area with a lot of rocks. "We are in the state of Colorado, known for it's hiking trails and rocky mountains" said Don. "If you look a little ways off in the distance, you can see the top of the mountain." "There are several different trails you could use to get up there, some faster than others." "The first one to reach the top, will be the winner of the challenge."

Everyone was soon lined up, ready to begin the challenge. "On you mark, get set, GOOOOO!" said Don.

With the wide options of paths that everyone could take, several contestants were obviously taking different paths. Tom was on the same trail as Kelly and Gerry. "Don't you think the obvious Miller Lite product placement on your shirt is a little excessive?" asked Tom. "At least i'm not showing off a talking lizard, seriously, the GEICO commercials are just weird" said Gerry. "Forget commercials, some products just have stupid names, like the wunder boner" said Kelly.

(Confession cam- That's a weird name for a product)

Tom- "What the hell were these people smoking, when they named this product that de bones fish?" "There are ways of getting your product noticed, without throwing in a bunch of penis innuendos in your commercial."

Jen was with MacArthur and Ennui. "Don't you ever get hot in that heavy police vest?" asked Jen. "Not really, you name me a ridiculous temperature, and I can handle it" said MacArthur. "Does this include temperatures in the negatives?" asked Ennui in an emotionless tone.

(Confession cam- A cold response)

Ennui- "Every season has their advantages and disadvantages." "I'm personally a winter fan, as the sun goes down and it gets dart a lot sooner around that time."

Lorenzo was with Stephanie and Sanders. "How did you make a recovery so quickly?" asked Sanders. "It's probably because the poison was scorpion venom, I was probably a little bit used to it as i've been bitten by one before" said Lorenzo. "Now if it was rattlesnake venom, it would be a completely different story." "I take it you've been bitten by a rattlesnake before" said Stephanie. "Actually, I was just taking a random guess, I don't know crap about most of the worlds animals" said Lorenzo. "Do I look like a zoologist to you?"

(Confession cam- No, you look more like a burger king employee)

Sanders- "I don't pretend to be a genius on dangerous animals, but I do think it's common knowledge to never get within ten feet of an elephant."

Chet was with Izzy and Kitty. "Why are you so obsessed with bombs?" asked Chet. "Are you a terrorist?" "No, I just like watching things blow up" said Izzy. "Well, I guess anything that isn't a war crime is fair game" said Chet.

(Confession cam- Bombs? You want it? It's yours my friend, as long as you have enough rupees.

Kitty- "Forget terrorist, Izzy looks more like she could be an arsonist."

Dwayne was talking to Josee about the situation with his son. "It's all my fault, I should have never signed us up for this show" said Dwayne. "Had we never come on the show, his Loki incident wouldn't have happened, and he'd still be happy." "How does your wife feel about what he's going through?" asked Josee. "Oh God, she's absolutely horrified, she's so convinced that there is going to be a funeral" said Dwayne. "I won't be surprised if her prediction in right, he's pushing himself too far." "He's just a kid, he's too young to be in this much danger."

Junior was actually with Emma and Geoff, and his head felt like it was being punched over and over again. It was already a struggle to keep his eyes wide open, he just couldn't stop himself from being tired. "Little dude, you need to stop, If you were to fall while we are this high up in the air, it's all over for you" said Geoff. "Shut up, you just want me gone so you have a better shot at winning, you dirty pervert" said Junior. "When are you and Harold going to forget about this whole sexual harassment bull crap?" asked Emma. "It's not just the sexual harassment, it's also the fact that Geoff teamed up with the jackass that traumatized me" said Junior. "I thought that whole fire alarm incident was your old principal's idea" said Emma. "Duncan is far worse, he would always find time to beat the crap out of me, I always needed an ice pack when I came home" said Junior. "Okay, I can understand why you would flat out hate somebody like that, but wishing death upon them makes you look sadistic" said Emma. "Listen Emma, I really don't want to have an argument here, just please stop making me look like the bad guy" said Junior.

(Confession cam- Do not piss him off)

Emma- "He would not be angry right now, in the slightest, if that rabbit attack never occurred." "Ever since his near death experience a year ago, he's been having a lot of anger issues." "I really hope he doesn't seriously damage himself, physically and emotionally."

Ellody was with the reality tv pros, and they were talking about the wedding that would be happening after the race. "I think your influence to propose to Emma at a young age, may have been influenced by Harold and Izzy getting married as soon as they were old enough" said Ellody. "No, that has nothing to do with it, I just legitimately want to spend the rest of my life with her" said Noah. "I didn't have to think on it for too long, i've just never been happier around any other person i've met before."

(Confession cam- that is a sign of true love)

Owen- "Noah really has come a long way, I don't think I can really ask for a better best friend."

Mary was with Pete and Taylor. Pete was currently drinking a Budweiser. "Wearing a Budweiser shirt, while drinking a bottle of it, this is just shameless product placement" said Taylor. "If i'm going to be running at such an old age, I need to stay hydrated" said Pete. "There is a difference between being hydrated, and being drunk" said Taylor.

(Confession cam- Alcohol, the one thing they won't stop advertising during professional sports)

Mary- "Going by the statistics, most grown men begin experiencing back problems at the age of 30, the tennis rivals are really pushing it."

Ryan was with Jay and Laurie. "So what made you want to become a vegan?" asked Jay. "It is absolutely disgraceful, that we murder innocent living beings, and then eat them" said Laurie. "And how long have you been one?" asked Ryan. "I've been one since I was only 4" said Laurie.

(Confession cam- That is a long time)

Laurie- "The way animals have been treated for centuries, is absolutely despicable."

Crimson was with Tammy and Harold. "You know Tammy, you and Leonard aren't the only ones who can do magic" said Harold. "Alright then, prove it, cast a spell" said Tammy. "Alright then, I just need to borrow your wand" said Harold. When Harold was handed the wand, he threw it off the side of the mountain. "Dude, that was uncalled for" said Tammy. "Now Crimson, I believe there is something in your pocket" said Harold. Crimson reached into her pocket, and pulled out Tammy's wand. "That's funny, I don't remember putting that in there" she said emotionlessly.

Tammy- "I expected better, I thought he was going to make it rain."

Chris was with Miles and Jacques, and Miles was not going easy on Chris. "I'm warning you right now" she said. "If you take advantage of Junior's injury, and cause him more harm, I'm going to make you wish you've never been born."

(Confession cam- Things are becoming a little bit dark)

Jacques- "Look, I hate Chris as much as the next guy, but I don't think we need to threaten the guy."

Carrie was actually asking Leonard an interesting question. "So, in the magic world that you come from, does Harry Potter actually exist?" "I personally don't really know the answer, as I have never been to the UK before" said Leonard.

The rockers were discussing their realistic hopes of making the chase. "I don't know, we're pretty far back, we'll be lucky enough to even crack the top 25" said Rock. "We're only 25 points out?" asked Spud. "Sounds like we still have a chance in that case."

(Confession cam- Math is hard)

Rock- "With where we are in the standings right now, it's not very likely that both of us make the chase."

The contestants were getting closer to the top of the mountain, where Don was waiting. "Here they come" he said. The podium ceremony was now happening. Kitty was on the third place pedestal, Chet was on the second place pedestal, and Izzy was on the winners pedestal. "Oh dear God, had I known who the winner was going to be, I would have picked out a different prize" said Don. "Izzy, if I give you this electric scooter, you need to promise not to go nuts with it, and hurt someone." "Yeah whatever, just bring in the husband" said Izzy. Harold showed up on cue, and the two began making out. "Okay, I should probably go off the air before they take their clothes off" said Don.

Authors note: I'm just kidding, nobody was about to start stripping on camera.

What Jay is actually referencing in his bedtime story, is the real first attempt to put the railway series on tv, long before Britt Allcroft did it. The first episode was supposed to be about the sad story of Henry. Due to a faulty set of points, the model of Henry derailed an camera. As if that wasn't bad enough, a hand came out of nowhere to put it back on the rails, and they just continued filming and finished the rest of the episode, as if nothing happened.
