The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, Owen was accusing himself of being the reason why Harold's life went downhill, but Kitty was there to tell Owen otherwise." "She thinks Harold's anger, mainly comes from his time before Total drama, and how many times he has been on the edge of death." "We then got on the new bus, which looked exactly the same as the old one, and set off for the Missouri river." "Crimson was the one that was able to get the win, and hopefully she will be playing Mozart on Monday." "With just 11 challenges to go before the chase, some contestants may be willing to take more risks." "We may see what some of those risks are, on this episode of, the race around the states."

Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.

Something went off in Harold's brain during self defense class with Officer Chambers, causing him to spar a bit more aggressively. A few of the contestants, had to leave class early, as they were feeling sore from Harold's hits. The only one that was able to dodge Harold, was Jay, still fighting with only one hand. Harold then decided to call it a day in training, and walked off grunting.

As Harold was heading back to the hotel, Kelly put her arm around him all of a sudden. "You know Harold, I think I know what's got you in a temper, you're upset because your wife is at home" said Kelly. "Trust me, I know how it feels to be competing here in the U.S, while my husband Carl is hundreds of miles away in Canada." "But it's only temporary, the race will be over eventually, and all family members will be reunited." "Oh hell no, not every single family member, definitely not my mother and older siblings" said Harold. "It's not Izzy being absent that pisses me off, it's the fact that my own family doesn't love me." "They lied to me my entire life about my dad being dead, which caused me to have nightmares." "Well i'm not putting up with their shit anymore, if they aren't going to love me, than I refuse to love them back."

(Confession cam- That kind of feeling, is excessive)

Kelly- "Okay, everything he just told me, is making me question my relationship with my own daughter." "With how angry she often gets at me, does Taylor still love me?"

**End confessional**

(Room 7- the goths)

As the goths spoke to each other, they hardly showed any emotion at all. "What do you think Loki is doing at home right now?" asked Ennui. "I hope he's not mad at us anymore for not bringing him with us" said Crimson.

(Room 11- mother and daughter)

"Taylor, I want you to be fully honest with me" said Kelly. "No mom, I do not think the cubs will win the world series, ever again" said Taylor. "Actually, I was just going to ask you if you love me" said Kelly. Taylor just stared at her mother, absolutely shocked. "Um, Yes I do, you are the one who brought me into this world" said Taylor. "But your recent parenting decisions, making me earn most of my privileges, is really starting to piss me off."

(Room 4- the sisters)

"I'm not sure if I believe your theory about Harold having PTSD" said Emma. "What's wrong with it?" asked Kitty. "I feel as though, it's more along the lines of him feeling like his family doesn't love him" said Emma. "Maybe it's a combination of both" said Kitty. "Eh, maybe, i'm not sure" said Emma. "No matter what way you look at it, there is no denying it, his mind is screwed up" said Kitty.

As everyone was riding the bus the next morning, they looked out the window, and saw Mount Rushmore. They eventually came to a stop, outside of a forest. "If you couldn't tell from the historic mountain that we just saw, we are in the state of South Dakota" said Don. "We are right outside, of Black hills national forest." "This is going to be a 2 mile foot race, we have a finish line set up two miles into the forest." "The first person to cross the finish line, will win the challenge."

Once everybody took off, it took a little longer than it usually did, for Harold's heart palpitations from running too fast to kick in. But what happened next, nobody could anticipate. Just off the racing trail, was a family that was camping. A spark from a campfire went towards the direction of the contestants, and landed on Harold's hand, which then caught on fire. Now normally when a part of you catches on fire, you want to stop drop and roll. This is next to impossible to do in a forest, as you are more than likely going to start a grass fire while rolling around, making the situation even worse. All that Harold could think about in that moment in time, was screaming bloody murder. His flesh was burning, and he just wanted it to stop already. He couldn't see out of his glasses, as the pain was giving him tears, and the tears were getting the lenses wet, obscuring his vision. He was unable to see, as he ran across the finish line, with Lorenzo following close behind in second, Mary third, Chris fourth, Laurie fifth, Sanders sixth, Ennui seventh, Kelly eighth, Owen ninth, Geoff tenth, Brody eleventh, Tammy twelfth, Taylor thirteenth, Jay fourteenth, Junior fifteenth, Stephanie sixteenth, Jen seventeenth, Crimson eighteenth, Ryan nineteenth, Jacques twentieth, Rock twenty first, MacArthur twenty second, Pete twenty third, Noah twenty fourth, Leonard twenty fifth, Spud twenty sixth, Chet twenty seventh, Ellody twenty eighth, Tom twenty ninth, Carrie thirtieth, Gerry thirty first, Miles thirty second, Dwayne thirty third, Emma thirty fourth, Kitty thirty fifth, and Josee thirty sixth.

(Confession cam- He's on fire, literally)

Noah- "OH MY GOD!" "It would be one thing if it was part of his clothes, but his literal skin."

Laurie- "JESUS CHRIST!" "I never thought, once in my life, that I would ever see somebody's flesh catching on fire."

Lorenzo- "WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?!"

Harold couldn't see where he was going, and ended up running into a pond. This is ultimately what put the fire out, but his hand was still hurting. He got out of the pond, dripping wet, his left hand badly burnt, and bleeding. "Oh God, this looks ugly" said Don. "Well, if it has to be chopped, maybe he and Jay could form a union" joked Chris. "I'LL CHOP YOUR WHOLE ARM OFF, IF YOU DON'T SHUT UP!" yelled Jay. As Harold was dipping his hand in cool (but not cold) water, Don tried to lighten the mood. "If it makes you feel any better, you just won the challenge." "If the chase started right now, you'd have a whopping 36 chase points." "Not to mention, you just won a nice, big fat HD television." "Okay, i'll be able to continue on in the race, and I'll be ready in time for the next challenge, but I definitely need to see a doctor about my burn first" said Harold.

(Confession cam- Feel the burn)

Josee- "Okay, with how far back I am in points, I am no longer eligible to make the chase, even if I win the final 10 challenges of the regular season." "Wow, if I was anything like I was before, I would have thrown a fit about this." "Jay has really changed me for the better."

Dwayne- "I cannot believe, what I have to suffer through." "My son is in serious danger, and I just lost my chance at a million dollars." "I should have never signed us up for this show, that was the dumbest decision I have ever made."

Carrie- "Devin, if you're watching this, i'm sorry I wasn't able to win it for you." "I failed you, big time."

Kitty- "Wow, I just dropped to nineteen points outside the top 10." "As if this challenge couldn't be any more of a disaster."

Laurie- "Alright, i'm back inside the top 10, I could really use those 3 bonus points."

Sanders- "Wow, Laurie getting into the top 10, this now makes me the second wild card." "Another win would be nice, but I think I can make up 11 points."

**End confessional**

The podium ceremony was awkward, as this was the first time, the winner was not on the winner's pedestal. Lorenzo and Mary just stood on the second and third place pedestals, not doing anything. "Well, this day could not have been any more scientifically worse" said Mary. "I would not blame Harold in the slightest, if he demanded compensation from those campers" said Lorenzo. The screen then went static.

Authors note: I know i'm becoming a broken record here by saying this again, but I am not a doctor, and I have never been to medical school. I do know however, that if you put burns under cool water that's not cold, it will help.
