The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, Harold decided to continue on in the competition, despite having a heavily bandaged left hand, and expressed how difficult things were going to be for him from from now on." "We then went off to the state of Maine, where it was a race through a forest of maple trees." "Then some of the contestants began having debates, as to what the symbol on Owen's shirt, really meant." "When Chris thanked Ennui for injuring Junior, Ennui temporarily dropped his emotionless attitude, and was full of rage." "Jay and Harold then began to have an argument, as to who had it worse, when it came to family issues." "In the end, Laurie got her second win of the season, and Gerry ended his bid for the million." "With only nine challenges left in the regular season, nobody has yet to clinch a spot in the chase." "What moves are these contestants going to make, to put themselves in that position?" "We might find out on this episode of, the race around the states."

Intro consists of a shorter version of the final countdown.

To celebrate Halloween, Josee and Jay were having a private dinner date in a fancy restaurant, while everyone else was in self defense class. "I really want to stay on good terms with Harold, but my God, he is a total liar, when he says that he understands what my family issues are" said Jay. "He's not trying to lie to you, he's just trying to emphasize how you two are the same" said Josee. "You both have a history of health problems, and you both are upset about being distanced from a blood relative." "Me and Harold are not the same, not in the slightest" said Jay. "His father is completely fine, while my brother is permanently blind." "As for the point about the health problems, unlike him, I don't have any incurable diseases." "The number of problems that i've had in my life, is way less than 300." "Take my advice, the next time you speak to Harold, don't bring any of this up" said Josee.

(Room 7- the goths)

"Chris actually said that?" asked Crimson. "Yep, and it was totally uncalled for" said Ennui. "What the fuck is wrong with him?" asked Crimson. "He doesn't know shit about Junior's family troubles." "Even if he did know about Sarah Santori, he'd still be grateful to us for hurting him" said Ennui. "Oh God, we went through hell back when that incident happened" said Crimson. "The cops of New York city still have that incident with Loki in their records." "Had Junior not signed a contract saying he wasn't going to press charges, God knows how long we'd be behind bars."

(Room 13- the tennis rivals)

"Seeing as how i'm of the running, I could still make a million dollars, if the Miller Lite sales begin to increase" said Gerry. "Honestly, i'd be getting more people to buy Budweiser, if it wasn't for the wicked witch of the south" said Pete. "I know, dumbest team owner in NASCAR history" said Gerry.

(Room 18- the vegans)

"Ah, it feels so nice to get a win, in a place as peaceful as a forest" said Laurie. "It's won't be peaceful for long, not until the lumberjacks have had their say" said Miles.

(Confession cam- You dang wood chucks, quit chucking my wood)

Miles- "I understand that the wood from trees is essential for making several different things, but it's still unfortunate nonetheless."

Everyone got on the bus next morning, and got off in front of a lake. "Okay everyone, brace yourselves, for this is going to be one of the most physically demanding challenges you'll do" said Don. "We are in the state of Rhode Island, the state famous for it's many triathlon's, and that's what this challenge is going to be." "This challenge isn't going to be anywhere close to how long an actual triathlon is, but that doesn't mean it won't be tough." "The challenge is will be split up into three segments, each one being a mile in length." "You will swim a mile, bike a mile, and run a mile." "For the entire event, you will all be wearing triathlon suits." "The first segment of the race is a swimming portion, where overtop your triathlon suit, you will have a wet suit." "You will also need a swim cap, and goggles." "Once you've swam an entire mile, we will then proceed to the cycling portion." "Before getting on the bike, remove your wet suit, slip on a pair of biking shoes, and put on a helmet." "Socks are not mandatory, and not putting them on can save time, but your feet might be getting severely worn out." "After the cycling portion, dismount your bike and rack it carefully, before removing your helmet." "Then remove your cycling shoes, and put on running shoes." "After that's it's just a one mile sprint to the finish."

Soon, everyone was lined up side by side, facing the lake. Because Harold, Tom, Miles, Ellody, and Mary had to wear glasses, Don had already written letters to their eye doctors, requesting prescription goggles. "Okay everyone, the triathlon is about to begin" said Don. "Ready, set, GO!" Everyone then jumped into the water.

Some contestants were clearly better swimmers than others, and quickly began to pull away from everyone else. Chris was playing incredibly dirty, and was constantly shoving other contestants out of the way.

Several contestants finished with the swimming portion, at different times, and some got to the bikes faster than others. Josee then made the risky decision, to not put on socks, as she put on her cycling shoes. Nothing noteworthy happened during the one mile cycling portion of the race.

The first contestants that racked their bikes knew that this was it, this was the final portion. Quickly removing their helmets and putting on running shoes, they took off as fast as possible, desperately trying to get to the finish. The gamble of not putting on socks turned out to be a wise decision for Josee, prior to it she was in eleventh, and was now in fifth. As the top five contestants were coming to the finish line, Josee got a random burst of speed all of a sudden, passing all four of the contestants in front of her, and winning the race. Kelly finished close behind in second, Emma in third, Ryan and fourth, and Crimson and fifth.

It took everyone else a little bit longer, but they all eventually made to the finish line with Owen finishing in sixth, Chris in seventh, Kitty eighth, Sanders ninth, Ennui tenth, Jen eleventh, Tammy twelfth, Jay thirteenth, Chet fourteenth, Junior fifteenth, Taylor sixteenth, Leonard seventeenth, MacArthur eighteenth, Jacques nineteenth, Harold twentieth, Laurie twenty first, Mary twenty second, Miles twenty third, Rock twenty fourth, Pete twenty fifth, Stephanie twenty sixth, Noah twenty seventh, Spud twenty eighth, Geoff twenty ninth, Tom thirtieth, Gerry thirty first, Dwayne thirty second, Brody thirty third, Carrie thirty fourth, Ellody thirty fifth, and Lorenzo thirty sixth.

(Confession cam- Sometimes, you gotta take chances)

Josee- "Wow, I never thought it was possible, but I actually won something without cheating."

Tom- "Okay, I am now so far back in points, that I have lost my chance at the million." "On the bright side, I think that a picture of me in a triathlon suit, will be trending soon."

Ellody- "Well, it appears as though smarts couldn't help me with this one, I am out of the running."

Owen- "Alright, i've put myself back in the chase." "But it's only by six points, i'm going to have to be wise about how I compete."

Leonard- "Even though I've fallen back to being four points out of the chase, i'm not nervous." "I'll just have to curse Harold."

Sanders- "There is absolutely no way I could be, in a more awkward position." "I am currently being pushed out of the chase, by my own boyfriend." "Junior is currently taking the wild card spot from me." "The problem with trying to point my way into the top 10, is the fact if I overtake one of the two guys ahead of me in points, they would knock Junior out." "More than likely, if I still want to make the chase, I'm going to have to duel it out, with my own boyfriend."

Junior- "Oh God, things just got so complicated." "I am now back in the top 20 in points, via a tiebreaker." "The one who I am knocking out, is my girlfriend." "To make things even more confusing, my head is still in serious pain, and I need to hold on, for an entire eight challenges." "I've never been in a more difficult position, in my entire life."

**End confessional**

The podium ceremony was now happening. Emma was on the third place pedestal, Kelly was on the second place pedestal, and Josee was on the winner's pedestal. ''Well Josee, you did it, you won something without having to play dirty" said Don. "As a reward, we're going to give you an electric powered go kart, with a speed of 50 mph." "I really need to lie down, my feet are killing me after not wearing socks" said Josee. Don the turned to the camera. "Okay, only eight challenges to go until the chase, and nobody is officially locked in" he said. "What moves are some of these guys willing to make to better their chances at winning?" "Find out next time on, the race around the states."

Authors note: Had it not been for the wicked witch of the south, the design on Pete's Budweiser shirt, would have been a throwback to one of Dale Earnhardt Junior's pain schemes. It's because of that witch, that nobody is able to run a throwback scheme, that used to be on a DEI car. I don't even think you can draw a picture of it on DeviantArt, that woman will try to copyright almost anything related to her team, even if it's not longer in NASCAR.

In real life, a triathlon is a lot longer than 3 miles, and is more physically demanding. I'm also pretty sure that in real life, you'll get disqualified if you try to shove your competitors out of the way.

Now, with the position that Junior is in right now, this is the perfect time to explain what happens, if more than one contestant has the same amount of points, by either the end of the regular season, or the end of the entire season in general. The tie is broken, the same way it is broken in real life NASCAR. The tiebreaker goes to who has the most amount of wins. If they have the same number of wins, then it goes by second places. If they have the same number of runner ups, they go by third place finishes, and so on.

As always, if you have an idea for a challenge in an upcoming state or a prize for a future challenge winner, feel free to let me know in a review.

Thank you for reading and please have a great day.
