The episode starts with Don narrating. "Last time on the race around the states, we had one of our weirdest episodes yet." "A couple of contestants were having problems with diarrhea, and surprisingly, Owen wasn't one of them." "Macarthur then said on camera, that she was going to finish the rest of the competition, without wearing a bra." "I can't comment on that, due to the fact I am a male." "With Brody having to temporarily leave due to a broken leg, Zoey came in to fill in for him." "It was then revealed that when they were younger, she and Junior were really good friends." "Then we all got on board a five star cruise, where there was something fun for everyone." "And I now envy Harold, regarding his success with Super Mario 64." "I can never full 100% the game, because I can't stop dying on Rainbow Ride." "In this episode, the chase is finally going to begin." "12 contestants, 10 challenges, one champion." "It all begins on this episode of, the race around the states."

(Room 3- Father and son)
As Dwayne was fast asleep, Junior just stared at him, and let out a sigh. Ever since Sarah was born, Dwayne had gone through absolute hell. Now his life was even worse, he was on the edge of losing his second child. Junior finally realized how stupid he was acting. By continuing on in the race, he was continuing to worry his father. Not to mention, he was putting himself in serious danger. He finally came to his senses, he knew what he had to do.
He wandered around the ship for a little while, until he found a door with a sign on it that said: HOST'S OFFICE. Junior knocked on the door, and Don invited him in. "What are you doing up this late?" asked Don. "I thought you needed all the rest that you could get in your current condition." "I just want you to know that i've finally come to my senses" said Junior. "Ever since that golf cart crash, i've been nothing but a danger to myself." "I can't go on like this, I don't want to traumatize my dad any further." "I know you can't get a substitute quick enough, you'll just have to have the challenge with only 35 contestants." "It's over, i'm dropping out of the competition." "Okay, because we are not on camera right now, I have no problem telling you this" said Don. "After your crash, I was currently in the process of trying to find a replacement for you." "I was absolutely mortified, when you elected not to drop out of the competition." "We have yet to see a contestant die on this show, and it looked as though you were going to be the first." "My opinion changed completely, when you won that dog sled race in Alaska." "I then realized what you were doing." "At the very beginning of last season, you pointed out how you didn't want to participate, while at the same time, you didn't want to be the first one out." "It wasn't mandatory, you weren't required to come back this season, but you did anyways." "Even at your lowest point, you were stubborn, and you absolutely refused to give up." "Since you began, you have come full circle." "It is very rare in competitions like this, that somebody is willing to compete, with a life threatening injury." "Not only that, you are doing this, while you are still a minor." "I don't know of any other kid, that would even attempt what you're doing right now." "At this point, dropping out of the competition, is the dumbest thing you can do." "If you've made it this far, you may as well go all the way." "I know i'm not supposed to pick favorites, seeing as how I am the host, but I really hope that you win this whole thing." "I want you to go out there, and prove your dad wrong." "Show him that you're going to be just fine, and make him proud." Junior slowly put on a grin. "Okay, bring it on" he said.
Junior then went into an empty closet, took off his hoodie, and began to do some sewing. When he met up with the rest of the contestants for breakfast the following morning, everyone saw his new look. On the front and back of his hoodie, was the number 00. Above the number on the back of the shirt, were letters that spelled Santori. "Woah, that is one badass looking custom jersey" said Tom. "While the double zero as a number?" asked Jen. "I took inspiration from basketball legend, Robert Parish" said Junior.
Eventually, the boat finally came to a stop at Oahu Hawaii. Everyone then got on board a bus. By this point, Harold's hand had made a full recovery, and he was able to take his bandage off. When they got off the bus, they were in front of a mountain. "Everyone, welcome to Mount Ka'ala" said Don. "For this challenge, you are going to hike this 7.2 mile trail, to the top of the mountain." "This is not going to be an easy task, the farther along the trail you go, the more difficult it becomes." "There are several areas that are incredible narrow, and covered with vines." "There are some areas where you have to climb up a rope." "The first contestant to hike this entire trail from start to finish, will be the winner."
Everyones was soon lined up at the start of the trail. This was it, the chase was finally about to begin, the contestants were just waiting for Don to tell them to go. "Okay, be ready everyone" said Don. "THREE, TWO ONE, GO!" Everyone then took off.
Over the course of the challenge, the thirty six contestants began to distance themselves from each other. Tom was hiking with Ellody and Stephanie. "Did the people that came up with these challenges have all of them in mind before the season started, or are they making it up as they go along?" asked Tom "I think think they had about 25% of it planned, and they just pulled the other 75% out of their asses" said Stephanie.
(Confession cam- I gotta give you these pills the butt way)
Ellody- "Okay, this is what the math says." "25% out of 50 is 12.5." "Did these people seriously only have 12 challenges planned out?"

Jen was hiking with Lorenzo and Tammy. "Tammy, we need advice" said Lorenzo. "How do we convince everyone that we aren't dating?" asked Jen. "What makes you think I know the answer?" asked Tammy. "Because you and Leonard hang out a lot, and nobody thinks you two are dating" said Jen. "Start having a friendly rivalry with each other, and become extremely competitive without getting angry" said Tammy.

Tammy- "Me and Leonard got our rivalry from constantly having wizard duels."

Chet was currently hiking with Harold. Harold's heart was once again hurting, due to having to run so fast. This time is hurt worse than usual, Harold felt like he was constantly being punched in the chest. He didn't want to take any chances, he was forced to slow down. Chet was unaware that he was pulling away from Harold, and the fact that Harold was feeling worse than usual.
Dwayne was currently hiking with Josee. "Now I know how you felt when you saw Mickey bleeding to death in that maze" said Dwayne. "The main difference is that you were actually able to help." "I can't do anything for my son, the only option I have is to just pray for the best." "Oh my God, I would never forgive myself if he were to die a painful death."
(Confession cam- Losing a child is horrible for any parent)
Josee- "After Junior's near miss with Loki, everything has been going downhill for everyone." "Multiple contestants have had to take challenges off due to health problems, two of them permanently dropping out of the competition, and one of them becoming permanently blind." "When I helped Mickey out of that maze, I thought the worst was over for him." "I could not have been more wrong."

As Junior was hiking along the trail by himself, he kept thinking about the conversation he had with Don last night. "If I can win this whole thing, dad's tears of sadness will become tears of happiness" he thought. "Then it will be all over, we'll finally be able to go home." "YOU ARE GOING TO GET IT YOU LITTLE BASTARD!" shouted a voice. He then saw Chris right next to him, holding a crowbar. "I CAN'T BELIEVE YOU HAVE TO AUDACITY TO DRESS UP AS MY FAVORITE ATHLETE OF ALL TIME!" shouted Chris. "I'VE TRIED NUMEROUS TIMES TO GET AN AUTOGRAPH FROM ROBERT PARISH, BUT APPARENTLY HE THINKS I'M NOT WORTHY, DUE TO BEING A SUPPOSED DICK!" "YOU ARE SO GETTING IT YOU BRAT!" He then began swinging at Junior numerous times. Junior was constantly ducking out of the way, while trying not to fall over on the unstable terrain, and his head was continuing to give him severe pain.
Kitty was hiking with Noah and Crimson. "I'm glad I get to have you as a brother in law" said Kitty. "That's something interesting about marriage, you instantly become related to a bunch of strangers, you and Emma are the only people in your family I have ever met" said Noah.
(Confession cam- The more we get together)
Crimson- "I'm confused, those two have been together for over a year, and Noah still hasn't met Kitty and Emma's parents?" "How the hell is that even possible?"

Emma was hiking with Leonard and Jay. "How have you not met the parents of the man you are about to marry?" asked Leonard. "It's not a case of them disapproving of our relationship, we just haven't found the time" said Emma." "When me and Mickey were having sleepovers with Josee, we were always forced to do it at her house, because out parents hated the ice dancers" said Jay.

Jay- "It had heavily to do with the fact that the ice dancers had already made them controversial the previous season." "Once Josee helped Mickey out of the maze, mom and dad began to come around."

Mary was hiking with Pete. "When was alcohol first discovered?" asked Pete. "There actually isn't a concrete answer to that" said Mary. "The earliest known evidence of it being discovered, dates back to 7,000 BCE." "It happened in China, people were making alcohol from fermented rice, millet, grapes, and honey."
Ryan was hiking with Laurie and Kelly. Laurie was thinking about what Junior had told her last night. "Nothing bad would have happened to them, had they managed to make it to the hospital without crashing" she thought. "You seem lost in thought" said Kelly. "It's nothing important" said Laurie. "Do you know something we don't?" asked Ryan.

Laurie- "I'm being 100% honest, there isn't that much going on inside my mind."

Ennui was hiking with Owen and Geoff. "If Toby was an engine in real life, he would actually be dead" said Owen. "Why's that?" asked Geoff. "Two words, British rail" said Owen.

Ennui- "Me and Crimson actually considered a Thomas and friends name for Loki." "That was before we realized Diesel 10 was a weird name for a rabbit."

Carrie was hiking with Laurie and Zoey. Miles was thinking about the conversation she had with Junior yesterday. "Why didn't he at least tell Zoey?" she thought. "He's been friends with her for several years." "You seem puzzled" said Zoey. "That's because I don't understand you" said Miles. "When you met Duncan in all stars, why didn't you chew him out for framing on of your best friends?" "Because nobody told me the identity of who framed him" said Zoey. "All I was told, was that Junior was framed for pulling the file alarm, I was never informed that it was Duncan who did it." "Had I known who Duncan was going into all stars, and what he did, I would have strangled him." "I really regret being nice to him, once I found out the full story, I really wanted to shoot an arrow at him." "I'm glad he got seriously injured."

Carrie- "Zoey was one of the nicest contestants on Total drama." "I can't believe she would actually wish something that bad on someone." "I get that Duncan is a horrible person, but my God."

Gerry was with Sanders and Jacques. "Hey Sanders, have you ever been to the hundred acre wood?" asked Gerry. Jacques immediately burst out laughing. "I'm sorry, I don't get the joke" said Sanders.

Gerry- "Can we fire Mickey Mouse and make Winnie the Pooh the new Disney mascot?"

The rockers were hiking together. "If Taylor isn't interested in you, it's because you have me as a best friend" said Spud. "Why would that be a problem?" asked Rock. "Taylor hates me, she thinks i'm a complete retard" said Spud. "Spud, we have been over this, you are not a moron, you just suffer from short term memory loss" said Rock.
After hours of hiking, the sun had finally gone down, and all of the contestants had their head lamps turned on. Coming to the finish line Ryan, Laurie, and Kelly were side by side for the lead. Then MacArthur came completely out of nowhere and ran right past them, and across the finish line. Kelly crossed the line in second, Ryan in third, and Laurie in forth. "Holy crap, you came out of nowhere" said Laurie.

MacArthur- "My boobs feel weird now, but it was totally worth it."

Soon, more contestants began to cross the finish line. Kitty crossed the line in fifth, Noah sixth, Crimson seventh, Owen eighth, Ennui ninth, Geoff tenth, Jen eleventh, Lorenzo twelfth, and Tammy thirteenth. Taylor was soon approaching the finish line, and then she heard someone scream. "TAYLOR LOOK OUT, HE'S GOT A CROWBAR!" Taylor looked behind her, and saw Junior dodging Chris. Chris then threw the crowbar, and Junior ducked. It was now heading right towards Taylor, and when she ducked to avoid it, she ended up falling down. Junior ran past her and crossed the line, with Taylor rolling across behind him. When Chris crossed the line, Taylor got up, picked up the crowbar, and now Chris was the one being chased. "You tell that son of a bitch, nobody is allowed to hurt my son" said a female voice. Taylor then turned her head, and saw a woman with bright orange hair, a black long sleeve shirt, and brown leggings. "Um, who are you?" asked a confused Taylor. "I'm Annie Santori, i'm Junior's mother" said the woman. "Mom, what are you doing here?" asked Junior. "I came here because I'm worried about you, I want to see you one last time in case, well you get the idea" said Annie. "If your goal is try and get me to drop out of the competition and come home, it's not going to work."
Eventually, several more contestants began to cross the line. Jay Seventeenth, Leonard eighteenth, Emma nineteenth, Carrie twentieth, Zoey twenty first, Miles twenty second, Mary twenty third, Pete twenty fourth, Spud twenty fifth, Rock twenty sixth, Tom twenty seventh, Ellody twenty eighth, Stephanie twenty ninth, Jacques thirtieth, Sanders thirty first, Gerry thirty second, Dwayne thirty third, Josee thirty fourth, and Chet thirty fifth. Dwayne was shocked when he saw his wife. "Oh, Annie, this is a nice surprise" he said. "You know why i'm here, we need to have an emergency family meeting about the condition of our son" said Annie. "Guys, i'm fine, you're worrying too much" said Junior. "You are not fine young man, you are on the edge of death" said Annie. "You sound the exact same way dad sounded before he started treating me like a man" said Junior. "I don't care how old you are, you'll always be my baby" said Annie. Jay then whispered in Junior's ear. "Ask if you can speak to her in private, tell her that you know about you know who." Junior then whispered back. "Absolutely not, she's going to tell dad." "Um, I hate to change the topic, but where is Harold?" asked Tom. The sound of wheezing could then be heard. Harold was slowly walking towards them, red in the face, with both hands on his chest. He then threw up, for an entire 20 seconds. "Just get on with the podium ceremony, I just wanna get to the hotel and got to bed" he moaned.

Harold- "There goes the big point lead I had."
Annie- "Harold perfectly showed what I am concerned about." "If Junior continues to push himself too far, bad things are going to happen."
Ryan- "Remember when I said it would take a lot for me to take the points lead from Harold?" "I didn't think it was actually going to happen."

The podium ceremony was now happening. Ryan was standing on the third place pedestal, Kelly was standing on the second place pedestal, and MacArthur was standing on the winners pedestal. "Wow, so many things are happening at once" said Don. "My God MacArthur, you came completely out of nowhere to get this win." "You just won yourself, a $1000 dollar giant food stores gift card." He then turned towards the camera. "With nine challenges left in the season, Ryan now has a four point lead." "How long will he be able to keep it?" "Can he hold onto it?" "Find out next time on, the race around the states."

I think when Wilbert Awdry created Toby, he never anticipated that all of the J70 tram engines would one day be scrapped.
