2. Quick Update

Hello, it's been a few years since I've last posted here so I'll be quick about it. The TL;DR is below.

So, an explanation. Updates on my other story A Mask Above the Rest did middling at best. I put in some work writing that story and it seemed not a lot of people noticed. When compared to this and my Spider-Man x MHA story that I put little effort into I felt kinda bad. Not that it's anyones particular fault. I guess I understand how YouTubers feel when projects they like get killed when the algorithm promotes low effort content more. I'm getting a bit off topic, so lets get back on it. I put in work into a story that didn't really find the audience I was hoping for and eventually just stopped posting because I thought "Whats the point?" mix in a bit of laziness and I haven't posted anything in years. But every so often I'd get messages, reviews, or follows on this and my other highest liked/followed story. Which leads me to New Year 2024.

Well, my sorta New Years resolution was to write more, and I thought "Well if I can't beat em, join em." So I'm not only going to be updating this story, I'm reworking it now with some context from God of War; Ragnarok. Not that this story would have borrowed from it even if I was updating the story when the game came out. I'll be adding new chapters to this story whenever I feel like I'm ahead enough to warrant posting. The first draft of this story will be turned into one mega chapter for people to read. While the new chapters won't be 100% different from the ones I already posted, they will certainly be different enough that I won't be using my writings from some few years ago. I will edit them to specifically note how they are no longer apart of the story but simply there for the fun of it.

With all that said, I hope you enjoy my writings and thank you for wasting your time on my mediocre writing.

TL;DR is that I put in a lot of work into my other story A Mask Above the Rest, but not many people seemed to care so I slowly just stopped writing. Expect some updates to this story in the coming weeks.
