Working and Destroying Brothers
Kenpachi is seen in the forest early in the morning doing some combat training with his signature weapon: a great axe/war cleaver hybrid with a long, cloth-wrapped handle and a green tassel attached to the top. He also named it Nozarashi for some reason.
He swings his sword around creating small shockwaves from each swings and practicing on his own self-taught swordsmanship style that use lots of power in the attacks and some speed too as the sword is very heavy and Kenpachi has been known to be stronger than few of the strongest adults back on earth. He throws in some punches and a few kicks too to improve his hand-to-hand combat abilities too so he can combine it with his sword fighting or in case he feels like going in a fight bare-handed.
Kenpachi made one last swing striking the ground making a tiny crater.
"Okay, I think that's enough for now, time for a break." Kenpachi said lifting his sword to his shoulder and walk to where Kenshi is.
He sees his brother reeling in a big fish he just caught and put them in the pile of food he also got in the forest.
"Yo, got yourself a nice hail?" Kenpachi asked.
"Yeah, I think that should be enough for breakfast." Kenshi nodded.
"Okay, sun is raising, so let's head back." Kenpachi suggested walking away back to the dorm house.
"Sure." Kenshi said and carry his hail carefully.
(15 Minutes Later)
"AAAHH?!" Chiaia screamed as she is knocked down by Kenpachi from one swing with his sword.
"Come on, I barely felt your sword clashing against mine. You got put more strength into your lower body if you want to stand your ground." Kenpachi advised.
"You know, when I asked you for spare with me, I didn't think you would take this a little serious." Chiaia said as she gets up.
"When it comes to fighting, I'm always serious and the only one who can beat me in some fights is Kenshi." Kenpachi pointed his thumb at Kenshi who is preparing the breakfast.
"It's still a little weird that you two have amazing powers at Sacred MechaMasters yet you don't even care about that." Chiaia commented.
"Let just say we have our own reasons for not letting powers go over our heads." Kenpachi said, being deep in thought for a few seconds.
"Now, how about you come at me again?" Kenpachi taunted.
Chiaia sighed knowing this sparing session is gonna hurt, but she has to get stronger in order to protect the Empress.
(With Chiaia and Maya)
"According to the report: Lord Bablun has been appointed Prime Minister of the Supreme Parilament, as you predicted." Maya informed as she helps her Empress get in her school uniform.
"So, Balalun finally has unquestioned power over Shtrayu meaning that little assassination incident may actually not have been his doing after all." Lashara recalled the incident of those enemy Mechanoids.
"That would have been quite foolhardy before his new appointment." Lashara said.
"This wouldn't be happening if the belated King were still alive…" Maya stated, wishing the late King was still around hoping to solve this matter.
"Babalum is attempting to seize Shtrayu through his own natural resources. We wish to obtain our country with out two hands rather than merely inherit it from our parents." Lashara said determine.
"Are you not afraid you're placing too much faith in two boys, Empress?" Maya asked, being worry a little.
Lashara only response with a chuckle as she looks outside the window seeing Chiaia and Kenpachi having their one-sided sparing match while Kenshi is almost done preparing with cooking the fishes.
(Dining Hall)
"Work in the dorms?" Kenpachi and Kenshi repeated what Lashara has told them.
"Correct. You two are still our attendant to some extent, make no mistake. However, we cannot pay you out of our national budget." Lashara mentioned as she drinks her tea.
"Hey, no offense, Empress Lashara… but are you broke?" Kenshi asked.
"Not in the least!" Lashara snapped, scaring Kenshi a bit.
"If we paid you though the national budget, we would be forced to expose your true identity!" Lashara explained.
"I really don't care about what everybody would think of me if they even found out I'm from another world." Kenpachi shrugged.
"You may not care about it, but if you're gonna have to work and earn some money if you don't want the girls going wild in Kenshi." Chiaia pointed out.
"I don't think we'll have any problem with money, if we want to eat then we find food in the forest." Kenshi said as he shown to be quite a hunter as he was taught by his family.
"Well, I guess you could do that." Chiaia almost agreed.
"Do not encourage him." Lashara angered a little before turning back to Kenshi and Kenpachi.
"Do you two think you're a couple of wild animals because we don't recall owning any pets!" Lashara asked.
"Looks, little ruler, blame our family for not teaching us the value of money uses because we never been to any stores and buy something." Kenpachi mentioned.
"Oh really, so they didn't teach you anything if you found a way back home. What would you do if you decided to leave home and find a place to live, would you have the money to pay the necessary bills and buy some everyday items?" Lashara asked.
"Huh, now that you mention it… I guess money is important to have to get some important stuff." Kenshi started seeing some importance of money.
"On top of that bit of reason, the dorms house high-ranking students from several countries. Would it not be in your best interest to get to know those students because you might want information or have to ask one of them for a favor?" Lashara stated.
"You know, she does raise some good points. We never made any real friends around our age outside of our family and some of the students might even heard about that masked group we were with to find out if they're up to something big." Kenpachi pointed out.
"Wow, that surprisingly smart of you, Kenpachi." Chiaia impressed.
"That, and I want to know who're the strongest fighters in the school, so I want take them and crush them!" Kenpachi excited.
"And I take that back." Chiaia sighed.
"We'll do it, though I should warn you that Kenpachi is only good with destroying most things like cutting down trees with one swing of his sword." Kenshi warned.
"Yeah, the only chores I ever do in my life is knowing how to clean the blood stains off." Kenpachi mentioned.
"Well, work with what you can get. We have already spoken with the academy on your behalf, now you two must speak with them in order to learn more about your new job." Lashara smiled then Angela walk up to her.
"Pardon the intrusion, Empress, but I'm afraid it's time." Anegla informed her Empress that it's time to go to her classes.
"Very well." Lashara understood.
Lashara and Chiaia leave to attend for their classes while Kenshi and Kenpachi headed to the Headmistress office to speak to her about their job.
The brothers look around seeing the whole school is like a giant castle with a large yard around it and every student they see, which are mostly girls and little some boys, knowing each other and greeting a good morning as well.
"You know, this almost feels like home." Kenpachi commented.
"Yeah, but with, like, way more girls." Kenshi agreed.
"Just try not to fall through any pipes like you did with Lashara's bath last night." Kenpachi smirked.
"Hey, that was an accident!" Kenshi embarrassed of the little incident last night.
"Hi, Kenshi! Kenpachi!" Mexiah waved at them.
"Hi!" Kenshi responded with a bow and Kenpachi wave back at her a little.
"Oh, him again!" Wreda smiled as her three friends and the other female students notices Kenshi and Kenpachi.
"Aren't they Empress Lashara's attendant?" Bwoole asked happy to see them.
"Those two are like total opposites of each other, but care for each other as brothers. It's so cool!" Gryino squealed a bit.
Soon, all the other girls are staring at the brother making Kenshi a little scared and nervous while Kenpachi find their staring weird and a little annoyed too, they quickly ditch the seen much to the girls' sadness.
"Oh no, they ran away again!" Yeliss exclaimed.
"But you have to admit that they look like Koros." Bwoole commented.
"Yeah, I was thinking the same too!" Gryino nodded.
"Try not to scare them off, all right, ladies?" Mexiah asked.
"Miss Mexiah, you seem like you're pretty close to those two boys. Is that true?" Wreda asked as the girls are curious about that too.
"Well, maybe one of them…" Mexiah paused seeing all the girls exciting and blushing wanting to hear more.
"But I'm afraid I cannot tell you; I only answer questions about the school. Bye." Mexiah walked away as the students beg some answers.
(With Kenshi and Kenpachi)
"Wow… that was kinda weird…" Kenshi sighed.
"Really, I thought it was pretty normal since we hung around with girls most of the time." Kenpachi mentioned.
"Yeah, but I find that many girls in one place is a little intimating." Kenshi explained.
"That just shows you might be getting close to puberty." Yoruichi believed, walking up to the brothers.
"Hey there, Yoruichi." Kenpachi greeted.
"The Headmistress is expecting you." Yoruichi said and escorted them into the office.
"What, but isn't this the Dormitory Director's room?" Kenshi asked.
"It is, I'm also the Dorm Director though the principal helps me out from time to time." Yoruichi explained.
"In this academy, the staff here has more than one job as this is such a big school." The Headmistress added.
"Does that mean you guys are shorthanded?" Kenpachi asked.
"You could say that, but we still get around well." Yoruichi answered as she sits down on her chair.
"Now, we're to start with a few different jobs to see where you boys can work at most. Sound good?" Yoruichi informed.
"Great!" Kenshi nodded.
"Sure, why not." Kenpachi said, okay with this.
"Glad to hear that. Since it'll be your first time, you both will be receiving points based on how well you do in the work and how much you finish, regardless of the working hours. Not to mention you'll actually be compensated of how many points you earn." Yoruichi explained.
"In other words, if we can finish more jobs in the short amount of time, we'll be able to earn more money." Kenshi figured out.
"Exactly, just be sure not to overextend yourself and do it at a steady pace." Yoruichi advised.
"Gotcha, just try to at least make it a little challenging for me." Kenpachi said making Kenshi sigh and Yoruichi laughs a little.
(Hallway)
Yoruichi escort the brothers through a long hallway.
"The dorms are split into four sections: The Independent dorms where high nobles and royalty like Empress Lashara lives, the boys' dorm, the upper-class dorms, and the underclass dorms. Just note the Independent, as well as the boys' dorm, have their own equerries and personal staff while the underclassmen all take care of themselves, for the most part." Yoruichi explained about the dorms.
"So, does that mean we might work in the upperclassmen's dormitory?" Kenpachi asked.
"Yes, for you see the upperclassmen have been officially knighted as Sacred Mechamasters meaning earning the right to have their own attendants, but they are reminded that the Holy Land is meant for training aside from royalty and high nobles, they're not allow to bring their own attendant." Yoruichi explained that as they ride down an elevator.
"I'm a little worry since all the upperclassmen are girl and we'll be working in their dorms." Kenshi confessed.
"There's no need to worry about that if you don't pass the aptitude test and we'll keep away from those places." Yoruichi said making Kenshi relief.
"But what about if the girls were to catch Kenshi and take him back to their room?" Kenpachi asked.
"Then you'll have to report about it immediately, no doubt you've seen how the girls find you two handsome and cute." Yoruichi answered with a teasing smirk, making Kenshi worry again.
They enter a control room where they see computer screens and few working attending the data.
"Hannah, I brought the new workers!" Yoruichi greeted the tall, muscular woman.
"These two are brothers, Kenshi and Kenpachi." She introduced the boys to her friend.
"Umm, I'm not sure about this. The tall boy does seem like he handles himself, but the other one looks like skinny and they're both kids." Hannah pointed out.
"Oh, and since when are you the picky type." Yoruichi chuckled.
"Yeah, you got me there." Hannah smiled.
"Okay, you two behave yourselves and get as much experience as you can." Yoruichi advised, the boys nod and she leave them in Hannah's hands.
Hannah lead the Peace-Chaos brothers as she explains to them about having extra packages brought by the royalties and Sacred Mechamasters bringing them underground, kinda like feet hidden by swans and carry through cable so the people don't get aho sickness. Hannah also explained why the academy is understaff because the graduates taking their favorite staff members with them much to the surprise of the boys, the staff leaves because they were bribed as well which is something they're use to every year though it's getting a little annoying. She also shows them the underground parking dock where the students' personal ships are being kept as there are lights in the same cycle as the outside.
"I wonder if this is how the stories of mole people was made?" Kenpachi wondered.
"Let just focus on getting through our first day." Kenshi reminded.
"Jozzy, Ikumi." Hannah called out getting her assistants' attention.
Ikumi is a tall, curvaceous, and fair-skinned woman with brown eyes. Her raven hair, which reaches to her upper back, has bangs which part to the left of her face and is styled in a ponytail with a purple scrunchy. She wears a white t-shirt with long purple sleeves, tight black pants with a buckle belt, and black rubber boots. She wears a brown cap with goggles and work gloves. Breast sizes: E-cup.
"These are the boys I told you about yesterday, I'd really appreciate it if you'd show them the ropes." Hannah gestured toward Kenshi and Kenpachi.
"Seriously?" Jozzy asked.
"Yeah, I'm not sure about this." Ikumi raised an eyebrow.
"I almost said those exact some things, but you'd hire two Koros, so give them a shot." Hannah patted hard on jozzy's back.
(Later, within the Forest)
"So, what exactly are we doing here?" Kenpachi asked as he follows Ikumi through the woods and carrying his sword.
"Every two months, we get permission from Princess Aura to take one tree from the forest to power up the heater of the school. We also have to make sure the trees we're taking is strong." Ikumi explained as she looks around trying to find the right tree.
"Didn't expect to meet a tree expert." Kenpachi commented.
"I learned about it from my dad." Ikumi said and spotted the perfect tree to chop down.
"Alright, this one will do nicely." Ikumi patted the tree with her hand.
"That's the tree we'll need?" Kenpachi asked.
"Yep, now all we need to do is…" Ikumi was about to explained how to carefully cut down the tree, but Kenpachi had already swing his big sword slashing at the bottom of the tree and the whole thing fell over.
Ikumi is utterly shock with her jaws drop and her eyes nearly pop out of their sockets, she becomes more shock when Kenpachi picks up the tree carrying is over his shoulder.
"Sorry, were you saying something?" Kenpachi asked.
"Uh, no… that's good." Ikumi said. "(My God! This kid is unbelievably strong, he might even be stronger than all the students in the school!)" Ikumi thought gasped.
"Wait, then what about Kenshi?" Ikumi asked, wondering how Kenshi is doing with Jozzy with the bed settings.
(With Kenshi and Jozzy)
Kenshi is seen going in to the students' bedroom for one-two seconds flat clearing out the old bedsheets and placing the new ones in, speeding to each room faster than Jozzy could count as she watch him work smiling and tears about to come out of her eyes.
"Finally! I got a good one!" Jozzy sobbed.
