Late Night Strolling to Thief Hunting
After making a promise to fix Kenpachi's necklace last night, Chiaia went to search of a way to fix it which turns out to be a major problem as the necklace is too well crafted and advance for anyone, she knows who knows about jewelries. Guess it should be expected with Kenpachi's family of aliens with their advance tech.
Now she was advised to go find a jewelry who serves a Sacred Mechamaster.
"Damn it, where am I supposed to find a jewelry who serves a Sacred Mechamaster?" Chiaia worried that she may not be able to keep her promise to Kenpachi, maybe he won't like her.
"Wait, why do I even care if that brute doesn't like me or not?" Chiaia asked herself shock with tiny blushes on her cheeks.
"Chiaia! Hello, there!" Ulyte greeted getting the young red hair woman's attention.
"Is everything all right? You seem frustrated today." Ulyte asked concern when he notice Chiaia walking with a sad look. He is also sitting with Maria and Yukine at the moment.
"Of course!" Chiaia smiled upon believing her hope is right in front of her now when she saw Maria and Yukine.
Chiaia explained the situation about Kenpachi's necklace, leaving out the details about his alien family and all that, and they went to Ulyte's office for Yukine to see the necklace up close as one of her talents is jewelry.
"(This necklace, it's so unusual.)" Yukine thought surprised.
"Well, how does it look?" Maria asked and Yukine gave a slight shook.
"I've never seen worksmanship this intricates in my whole life. At this point, I'm not even certain what it's made out of. Unfortunately, fixing it is going to take some time." Yukine explained, and she mostly likely mean a really long time, maybe decades.
Chiaia sigh knowing that it was worth a shot of asking Yukine and Maria for help.
"I can't exactly say I'm surprised; I've often heard the highlands use different techniques than we do." Ulyte mentioned.
"But whatever the case, I'll give it my best shot." Ulyte offered his own aid by looking at the necklace himself and the crystal in it.
"You said this necklace was from Kenpachi and he ripped it off himself?" Maria asked.
"Yeah, he said he didn't like wearing it around his neck for some reason, so I was hoping to find someone who can make it like a wristband or something." Chiaia explained.
"Well, I certainly dislike those who would treat their jewelries with such disrespect. But he kept it as it was a gift from a family to cherish, so I suppose he has some honor." Maria stated.
"(Not sure if that's the right word for it.)" Chiaia thought.
Ulyte is looking closely at the crystal of necklace with his scoop and is amazes of the brown crystal with its uniqueness.
"This is indeed one incredibly unique crystal." Ulyte said.
"Dame Chiaia, the only sensible solution is for someone from Kenpachi's homeland to remake the necklace into a new accessory wear." Maria advised.
"Yeah, that might be my only option." Chiaia agreed. That's a lie because she has no idea of how to contact the brothers' family and ask them for help.
"If you need something in a hurry, maybe replacing it's a better option. Why don't you fashion him a braided cord?" Maria suggested.
"Like from Havoniwa?" Chiaia asked.
"Yes, why not? The cords from our country hold different meaning depending on their style, color, and design. The most common way they're used though is a charm to tell someone how you feel." Maria explained.
"You're doing this to help Kenpachi hold onto it better to feel close to his family, then I can't think of a better way to convey that along with your feeling that you want to keep it strong for him." Maria stated.
"Yeah, but I wouldn't even know how to begin making something like that, and besides… I'm too clumsy." Chiaia admitted embarrass.
"No reason to fret over not knowing how, we'll teach you. Isn't that right, Yukine?" Maria offered her and Yukine's aid to teach Chiaia how to do some crafting.
"Yes, if it would make Kenpachi happy then it would also make Kenshi happy too." Yukine agreed to help.
Chiaia isn't sure about taking lessons on how to make her own braided as her hands have always been more for combat, but suddenly thinking about Kenpachi has made her heart race a little and blushes a bit and thinking about he could give her a thank you as well.
"Alright, I'll do everything I can." Chiaia decided to go with this.
But when she looks out the window, she becomes shocked of seeing a lot of Koros leaning against the window from the outside as Yukine and Maria are also shocked by this sudden behavior with the Koros.
"Uh… Mister Ulyte?" Chiaia said.
"Is something wrong?" Ulyte asked noticing the girls are looking past him. He turns around and gasp of seeing those Koros.
(With Dagmeyr and Emera)
"Regarding the 'packages' you inquired about? They have all arrived, sir." Emera informed.
"I'm much more concerned with the status of the other arrangements." Dagmeyr said as Emera quickly knew what he is talking about.
"Right, I will handle it, sir." Emera promised.
"Hey look, it's the Peace-Chaos Brothers!" One girl excited.
The brothers are doing their duties as always with Kenshi carrying to black briefcases and Kenpachi is holding up a large black box over his head as they run past the girls, Kenshi waving hello to them and Kenpachi just look at them before going about his day.
"(Oh, what a couple of eyesores.)" Dagemeyr thought disgusted of being near those brothers, hoping to end them soon.
"Oh, it's those boys again." One girl with long orange hair noticed the brothers running together.
"Oh wow, it would be so cool if I can just go talk to that Kenshi boy and be friends with him." The long orange hair girl said looking a bit sad.
(Nighttime)
Chiaia is sitting on the couch toward the window and looking out seeing that neither of the brothers are not going outside.
"Huh, so they did go to sleep like good little brothers. Yet why does that make me worry?" Chiaia asked herself.
She turns back her attention to the red thread and needles she is holding in her hands along with an instruction book that shows her how to knit the thread, but she accidentally drops it and bends down to pick it up.
Unknown to her however is the Peace-Chaos Brothers have just snuck out of the house.
"Now remember, we're NOT going to SWAN. We're here to enjoy the darkness of the night with the moon out race around to see who can make it back to the house first." Kenpachi reminded his brother.
"I know, I know, you did make a point that I got to stop being so clingy onto the things I don't need because I already got one crystal that is super special." Kenshi nodded.
"Glad you see things my way." Kenpachi grinned.
"(Although, it wouldn't hurt just to look at the crystals for a little while.)" Kenshi thought to himself.
"Okay, now let's start the-huh?" Kenpachi noticed something is odd.
Both he and Kenshi stop as the former also felt his instincts are telling him that something is wrong nearby, they look towards the workshop that Wahanly works and saw the door slightly.
A masked person weaking an full-body black clothing comes out checking to see nobody is around and sneaks out while gently and softly closing the door.
"If you want something from this workshop, then you're gonna have to wait for Wahanly in the morning." Kenpachi pointed out, spooking the mask person.
"Yeah, everyone is asleep, and you should be too." Kenshi added.
The mask person got shocked to see that both brothers are here meaning things have just gotten harder for the thief and tries to attack Kenshi first, but he easily pins her down to the ground.
"Oh, this thief is a woman." Kenshi surprised as he can tell by the weight and other things.
"Doesn't matter, the bitch was here for something and we're going to make her talk." Kenpachi cracked his knuckles.
Suddenly the white-masked woman from before jumps from above and lands next to Kenshi for a fast kick which he easily dodges though he had to let the thief woman go and jump next to Kenpachi.
"Great, two thieves in one night." Kenpachi said.
The white-masked woman throws a little ball at them which Kenpachi thought it was stupid and tries to knock it away, but the ball explodes into a big black sheet covering both the brothers as it wraps around them.
"Okay, this is reminding me of our training days." Kenshi commented.
"Except the family never used balls like that, so this feels more like a spy gadget." Kenpachi said as he can't recall seeing that type of gadget.
"Good point." Kenshi said before they rip the sheets off to escape and notice both thief women are gone.
"I think the one with the white mask was a decoy for the other one to escape." Kenshi believed.
"Then whatever the first one was here for must be important." Kenpachi guessed and Scar comes out.
"Go back to our dorm house and alert the Empress." Kenpachi ordered, Scar nods and went off to Lashara's dorm house.
"I got the first one's track. This way!" Kenshi pointed the way after listening to the footsteps on the ground.
"Let's go!" Kenpachi said.
Kenpachi and Kenshi chase after the first thief they saw and hoping to take back whatever she stole from the workshop, and they jump down to another area.
"Okay, where to?" Kenpachi asked.
"I'm not sure? I only been able to know she went in one direction." Kenshi shrugged.
"Ah, so you two are hunting down some ruffian?" Dagmeyr asked as the brothers noticing him and a girl, probably Emera as they were told she is always by his side.
"Yeah, we're chasing them for they might've stolen something from Wahanly's workshop. Did they just run by here?" Kenshi asked.
"Yes, they went that way." Dagmeyr pointed at the forest.
"Thank you very much." Kenshi bowed.
"Hold on, just what are you doing out here so late?" Kenpachi asked getting a suspicious feeling of this guy.
"I've been feeling a little weighted in the head you could say, so I decided to go out on a late-night stroll to calm my mind and Emera here advices me on that." Dagmeyr explained.
"Really? Just out here for a stroll, didn't think about drinking some of those boring tea?" Kenpachi glared at the guy who glares back.
"Kenpachi, we have to go, or we may never get the thief!" Kenshi reminded him.
Kenpachi looked at Dagmeyr for a bit longer before decided to go with Kenshi to get the thieves as they jump down.
"Wait, what are you doing?" Dagmeyr asked, but the brothers didn't listen as they continue running after the thieves.
"Those two are animals." Dagmeyr commented.
Dagmeyr turns around seeing Emera leaning on a pillar.
"Well, did you get it?" Dagmeyr asked.
"Yes, here it is." Emera showed a file folder with papers that her lord wanted.
"Good." Dagmeyr said taking the paper and walking away, not even being concern of Emera's groaning in pain from having been pin down by Kenshi as her black cloak is behind her.
Kenshi and Kenpachi continue running through the woods until they spotted the black cloaked thief.
"Kenpachi, throw me." Kenshi said.
"Got it!" Kenpachi grabbed hold of Kenshi and throws him towards the thief.
The thief turns around seeing Kenshi flying at her and quickly gets rid of the cloak revealing herself to be the white mask woman from earlier.
"Oh, just a decoy again." Kenshi noticed.
"She's still an accomplice with that thief, meaning she knows something." Kenpachi pointed out.
"Right, so we'll take her in." Kenshi nodded.
"Tell me, are you two from another world?" The white mask woman asked.
This shock the brothers of this person suddenly asking them a strange question out of the blue like that about them being from another world, and she said it in a causally tone too meaning she must know a little more about that too.
"Hey Kenshi, I think I just remember that Ulyte guy saying that people from other worlds come here." Kenpachi recalled.
"Yeah, now we really have to take her in." Kenshi readied himself to jump at the thief.
But suddenly a shining bright light comes blinding the boys of their sight, but they are able to hear her footsteps and went after her.
"They're following me. Unbelieve." The white mask woman said. Even after blinding them with her flash grenade, those boys won't give up the chase.
The white mask thief jumps high to a tree branch and Kenpachi jumps high as well.
"Get back here!" Kenpachi reached out to grab her.
The white mask woman dodges his hand and jumps down to a ruin as Kenpachi went after her only to find the ruin empty and the woman is nowhere to be found.
"What happened? Did you get her?" Kenshi asked.
"No, she managed to get away from me." Kenpachi answered.
"Well, well, what are you two doing at this hour?" Mexiah asked showing herself in the woods too.
"We could ask you the same thing?" Kenshi asked surprise to see Mexiah out here.
"I received word a burglar was out and look who I find. So then, are you both the culprit?" Mexiah asked teasing as she knows those brothers could never be burglars.
"Fat chance, we were just chasing the burglar and another, but they gave us the slip." Kenpachi said.
But the boys stop themselves when they finally see Mexiah closer that she is barely wearing any clothes except for a skimpy underwear and an open white shit showing her almost naked breasts.
"W-W-Why are you…?" Kenshi blushed upon seeing this.
"Were you trying to seduce someone?" Kenpachi asked titling his head.
"Oh, just calm down, I was taking a bath. This is the girls' dorm, you know." Mexiah explained.
"Yeah, well, guys happen to work here too." Kenshi pointed out and tries not to look at her.
"It was an emergency; there was no time for clothes! Come on, the robber might be hiding somewhere nearby." Mexiah said grabbing Kenshi's hand to pull him in and they walk together.
"I have a feeling the robber may have already be long gone by now." Kenpachi said.
"What makes you say that?" Mexiah asked.
"Just a hunch." Kenpachi shrugged.
"Kenshi, don't be so shy. Why don't we take a bath later?" Mexiah asked with a smile.
"What, but I… Kenpachi, help!" Kenshi begged.
Then Kenpachi punch Mexiah on the head forcing her to let go of Kenshi.
"Ow! Did you really have to hit me that hard?" Mexiah asked wincing in pain, feeling like a big bump is about to form on her head.
"Because you wouldn't stop being a pervert." Kenpachi answered and look towards Kenshi.
"And you need to learn to get this girl to back off on your own because that will be the last time, I help you with this." Kenpachi said.
"What? No, you can't be serious!" Kenshi feared.
(With Ulyte)
Ulyte is seen in his office talking with his older brother, Babalun Mest through a hologram communication device and the former is holding a familiar file case.
"Hmm, Dagmeyr really retrieved that?" Babalun asked with a smug.
"Yes, he seemd acutely proud of himself." Ulyte said as he looks at the data paper in the file.
"Naua's pupil, huh? Certainly seems like the work of the highlander, wouldn't you agree? If they were practical, they could be extremely useful when we seize castles outside of the draft." Babalun stated.
"Unfortunately, though, they're not practical." Ulyte said putting the file down.
"I'm amazed he created such a stir over something like this." Babalun admitted.
"He is your heir after all, and if you take that into consideration, it makes sense he might want to use it one day." Ulyte pointed out.
"Even if he will need it, there are other ways to go about these things. Make sure he fully understands that." Babalun said.
"He's still very young, my Lord. But as a male Sacred Mechamaster, he's extremely talented." Ulyte reminded his brother of Dagmeyr's gifts.
"Ridiculous child… He wants to succeed my lordship more than anything, but he cares nothing for cultivating his talents." Babalun stated before hanging up the call.
"That's very true, especially since Lashara is just about ready to give up on us. Ah well, such is the way of our world, I'm afraid." Ulyte said believing this might make things a little more complicated.

Guess it was a good thing Kenpachi decided for him and Kenshi to go out for a late-night running stroll as they saw the thief, but she got away with a file stolen from Wanahly's vault and they will have to be careful with who they can trust as friends. Especially with Ulyte working with Babalun for something big.
