Now here's this nonsense.

...

Lynn huffed and panted upon arriving back home, having just finished her morning jog. Just because she'd stop playing sports didn't mean that she didn't want to stay fit. Though she couldn't help but notice, with slight disappointment, that these jogs were leaving her slightly more winded than they used to.

Upon entering the house, she was met with a strange sight. Lincoln was playing a game of Muscle Fish. With Lola of all people. Lincoln was smirking confidently while Lola was gritting her teeth, concentrating hard on the game. Looking over at the TV, it looked like Lincoln was winning. He was playing as the titular Muscle Fish while Lola was playing as a feminine, pink fish that almost resembled a mermaid. Lynn had played the game before with Lincoln though she didn't really care enough to get that into it. She probably could've mastered it if she tried though she knew where that line of thought went. Despite it looking like Lincoln was winning, Lola had suddenly started making a comeback (either that or Lincoln had started going easy on her). In the end, Lola managed to win.

"Yes!" Lola pumped her fist, grinning in victory. "In your face!" She couldn't help but taunt before suddenly looking embarrassed.

Lincoln didn't seem bothered at all by this. "Not bad." He then finally noticed Lynn. "Oh, hey Lynn."

"Hey..." She greeted him awkwardly before looking at Lola. "I didn't know you were into this kinda stuff."

Lola shrugged, suddenly looking apathetic. "Eh. It's okay I guess. It's not like I had anything better to do today."

Lincoln smirked at her. "Really? Because it kinda sounded like you were having fun to me."

Lola gave Lincoln a cheeky grin in return. "Yeah. When I'm kicking your butt!" The two then continued playing. Lynn couldn't help but stare in bewilderment for a moment before heading off upstairs.

A moment after that, Rick then entered the room. "Hey, have you guys seen my-"

He was then promptly cut off as a green portal suddenly appeared. Strangely enough, it didn't quite look like the portals Rick made as unlike this portal, they looked almost like liquid. A robot dog flew out of it before landing on the floor. "Jesus, I've only been in this room for two seconds!" Rick complained.

The front of the robot dog's box-shaped body opened up, revealing a green screen. There was static on the screen for a moment before a boy appeared on it. He wore a red T-shirt with a yellow atom on it and had large brown hair in a strange swirly cowlick. "Rick Sanchez. My name is Jimmy Neutron. We may not have met before but I need your help."

"Oh boy." Rick groaned.

"I'm from another world." Jimmy explained. "We need your help to deal with an unprecedented threat that threatens all our worlds. It involves one of your old enemies."

Rick raised a sceptical brow. "One of my old enemies?"

"Of course we'll help!" Lincoln said with a grin, earning a glare from Rick.

Jimmy seemed pleased with this. "Great! Follow my dog and he'll lead you to me. I'll explain more when you get to my lab." The screen cut back to static as the robot dog then jumped back into the portal.

"Seriously, Lincoln? Did the whole 'kid genius from another universe asking for help' bit not tip you off that this might be some kind of trick or scam?" An annoyed Rick asked.

Lincoln gave Rick a pleading look. "Come on, Grandpa Rick, didn't you promise Crocubot that you'd help in situations like this?"

"I think that deal ran out as soon as Lynn returned home without him. I don't even know if that guy's still alive." Rick argued before sighing. "But fine. We'll go. I guess there's worse ways to spend my Sunday."

Lincoln turned to Lola. "You wanna come too, Lola?"

"Nope." Lola said bluntly before getting up and going upstairs. Lincoln shrugged before getting up and going into the portal with Rick following after him.

...

Upon exiting the portal, Rick and Lincoln arrived at Jimmy's lab which didn't look too different from Rick's subterranean lab, though it looked more whimsical and childish in comparison. However, something about this world felt off in general, especially as Rick and Lincoln looked down at their hands. "Is it me? Or is everything here more...bulgy?" Lincoln asked.

"Yeah, no kidding." Rick remarked.

"Welcome to my lab." Jimmy greeted as he approached the two. He then gave Lincoln a questioning look. "And, uh, you are...?"

"Uh, my name's Lincoln Loud." Lincoln before putting his hands on his hips, trying to look confident. "I'm kind of a hero back in my world."

"Humble, aren't you?" Rick snarked.

Jimmy shrugged. "Well, hey, the more the merrier. Let me introduce you guys to the rest of the crew." He gestured to three other figures in the lab. It was pretty obvious to Rick that none of them belonged in this world either. "This is-"

"HI! I'm Spongebob!" The yellow sponge wearing square shaped pants suddenly shouted, interrupting Jimmy. He seemed a little too giddy for Rick's liking.

There was an awkward silence after before Jimmy continued. "...uh, what he said. He comes from a world full of sapient sea creatures."

"You sure that's sapient?" Rick snarked.

Spongebob let out a rather annoying laugh at this. "You're funny! You remind me of my friend, Squidward."

Rick narrowed his eyes at Spongebob. "Why does that feel like an insult?"

"Uh, moving on." Jimmy said, detecting a bit of odd tension. He gestured towards the teenager with white hair, wearing a black jumpsuit with white boots, collar, belt and gloves. "This is Danny Phantom."

"Sup?" Danny greeted with a wave.

Rick raised an eyebrow at him. "So, what, are you like Spider-Man but with ghost powers instead of spider powers?"

Danny gave Rick a surprised look. "Uh, how did you know I have ghost powers?"

"The name 'Phantom' kinda gives it away."

"Oh. Right."

Lincoln stared at Danny in awe. "Wait, you actually have ghost powers?"

Danny smiled. "Sure do." To prove it, he began floating in the air and turned completely invisible for a second.

"Whoa!" Lincoln gasped in amazement. He couldn't help but think it was a shame Lucy wasn't here to see this.

"Last and probably least," Jimmy joked, earning a slight glare from the buck toothed kid wearing a pink shirt and hat. "This is my friend, Timmy Turner."

"Thanks, Nerdtron." Timmy snarked.

"So, what kind of powers do you have?" Lincoln asked.

Timmy let out a sheepish laugh at this. "Well, I'm also a boy genius, just like Jimmy."

Suddenly, two strange creatures appeared next to Timmy, looking like miniature humans with wings. One was a male with green hair and the other was a female with pink hair. The one with green hair started laughing. "Oh, that one gets me every time!" He said in a rather high pitched voice. The pink haired one simply gave the green haired one a look of disapproval.

Both of them then noticed that Rick was staring at them. "Uh, what the hell are those things?" Rick asked.

Timmy started to look nervous. "Oh, these are just my high tech holograms. Pretty advanced, huh?"

The green haired one grinned. "I'm Cosmo!"

The pink haired one let out a weary sigh. "And I'm Wanda."

Rick raised a pointed brow. "Uh huh. You know, they kinda look like fairies to me."

Timmy's eyes widened for a second he let out a nervous chuckle and scoffed. "Pfft. That's ridiculous! There's no such thing as fairies."

Rick rolled his eyes, deciding he didn't care anymore. "Whatever. So this is everyone then?" He asked Jimmy, who nodded. Rick didn't look impressed. "Gotta say, no offence, but this kinda just reeks of a cheap, low-budget crossover event."

Lincoln scowled. "Rick, can we talk in private for a moment?"

Rick let out a groan. "Fine. Excuse us for a sec." He followed Lincoln to a corner of the lab where the others couldn't hear them.

"I like them." Spongebob remarked after Rick and Lincoln left.

After taking Rick aside, Lincoln said. "You know, you're starting act a lot like how you did when we were with the Vindicators. Or during that heist stuff."

Rick folded his arms. "Yeah. And?"

Lincoln gave Rick a stern look. "Rick, those were two of the worst adventures I've ever been on. Do you think you could not try to ruin it this time?"

"Look, I'm just saying it as it is. Everything about this just feels cheap. Like a licensed video game from the 00's."

"You know you're not the only person whose opinions matter, right?" Rick bit back the first response that came into his head. "I think this might be fun. So can you just go with the flow for once and not try to get people killed just so you can prove a point on how much you hate something?"

Rick let out a long sigh as he pinched the bridge of his nose. As much as he wanted to argue back, he had to admit that Lincoln had a point. Plus, he really didn't want to give his grandkids more reasons to resent him. "Ok, you're right. I'm being whiny. Let's just turn our brains off and enjoy this...fun crossover nonsense that'll probably have no impact on our lives whatsoever."

Lincoln didn't seem satisfied with Rick's answer but he decided to leave it for now as he and Rick went back to rejoin the others.

"Is everything okay with you guys?" Danny asked.

"Peachy." Rick responded.

"Well, now that everyone's here, let me bring you all up to speed on what's happening." Jimmy said as he went over to his computer.

"Hold on, quick question." Rick suddenly interrupted. "Why'd you contact me instead of the Rick from your world?"

Jimmy turned to Rick with a look of confusion. "Uh, I don't have a 'Rick' in my world."

It was now Rick's turn to be confused. "Wait, then how did you...?" He trailed off before shaking his head. "Never mind. Forget it."

Jimmy turned his attention back to his computer. "Anyway, this all started with my latest invention, the Universe Portal Machine. It's a device that let's us travel to other worlds." His computer showed an image of a short, bald, elderly man with a moustache. He was wearing a lab coat with eyeglasses. "Professor Calamitous has somehow gained access to my project plans and created a copy of my machine. I've been tracking Calamitous' portals and he's been visiting your worlds. He's found an ally in each world and they've teamed up to form a Syndicate."

Images of the members of this syndicate started popping up on screen. The first one was a man with a vampiric appearance as he had blue skin and pointed ears and fangs. He had black hair pointed in a U-shape and a black goatee. He wore a white outfit with a high collar cape connected around his neck that has a white exterior and a red interior lining. Despite his appearance, Rick guessed that he was a ghost rather than a vampire.

The second person in contrast, looked like an ordinary man. For the most part. He had a rather nerdy appearance, simply wearing glasses and white shirt with a black tie. What stood out to Rick was the hunched back and, weirdly enough, the ears on his neck. The image of him here also showed him with a rather creepy grin.

To Rick, the third person resembled a green bean with one eye and two antennae. Judging by the image, he also appeared to be tiny. Rick wasn't sure if this was some kind of alien or a weird looking plankton, considering Spongebob came from a world with talking fish.

The fourth person took Rick and Lincoln completely off guard. "Tammy?!" Rick exclaimed. "Why the hell is she involved in this?"

Timmy gave Rick a confused look. "Why are you so surprised?"

"That's probably because we don't exactly know what her role in this yet." Jimmy answered for Rick. "Unlike your worlds, Rick and Lincoln's world hasn't come under attack yet."

Rick couldn't help but shake his head. "Man, that bitch must be real desperate if she's resorting to this."

Spongebob gasped. "I didn't think we'd be working with such a sailor mouth!"

Rick gave Spongebob a challenging glare. "Yeah? W-What of it? You're gonna tell on me or something?"

"Well no, but I am gonna give you is a long, hard look of disapproval." Spongebob then proceeded to give Rick a long, hard look of disapproval.

There was an awkward silence before Rick sighed. "Yeah. Ok."

Jimmy cleared his throat. "Getting back on topic, Calamitous must have some sort of master plan that they can all benefit from. They've combined their powers to create an army of Syndicate Troops and they're stealing energy from each of your worlds. Besides Rick's that is. We don't know why they're stealing this energy, but whatever it's for, it won't be good."

Timmy rolled his eyes. "Don't be such a science nerd. If you think about it, this is actually pretty cool. It's just like one of my games."

While Rick bit back the temptation to snark at Timmy, Lincoln couldn't help but be curious. "What kind of games do you have in your world?"

"You ever heard of The Decimator?"

"No?"

Timmy suddenly look embarrassed. "Oh, right. Of course you wouldn't. That's from my world. Duh! Well, when we go to my world, maybe I could show you one of my games."

Lincoln smiled. "That sounds fun." He had a feeling he and Timmy were gonna get along just fine.

"Now Timmy, this is a lot more serious than one of your video games." Wanda lectured Timmy. "We've lost most of our powers because of this Syndicate and we won't be able to do anything until they're stopped."

"Yeah, Timmy, right now, this wand is just a glorified backscratcher." Cosmo remarked as he scratched his back with his wand as if to make a point.

"Your holograms are right, Timmy." Jimmy added. "We must work together to stop the Syndicate. I know that you've each defeated these guys individually. That's why I brought you all here. If we combine our knowledge, we can beat them."

"Hey, why would holograms need wands?" Rick decided to ask.

"Why do you need to have such a foul mouth?" Wanda shot back.

"...got me there I guess."

"Look, all I'm saying is that it's exciting to work as a team and save the day." Timmy explained.

"Well, now that the entire team is assembled, I think it's time we get started." Danny stated.

"Since we don't know where Calamitous' secret laboratory is, our only leads lie in each of your worlds." Jimmy explained. "To begin with, let's stop them from draining the energy."

"Where should we start?" Spongebob asked.

"How about Amity Park?" Danny offered.

"Let's go!" Spongebob cheered.

Rick groaned. He didn't really care for any of this but if there was an opportunity to take Tammy out right here and now, he'd be an idiot not to take it.

...

After going upstairs, Lynn entered her room, only to come across another strange sight. Lucy was in front of the mirror, adjusting the bow in her hair. Except now, she had a pink bow in her hair instead of a black one. "Uh..."

"Guh!" Lucy jumped, not realising that Lynn was there. She looked like she was about to take out the bow before thinking better of it. "Oh. Hey Lynn."

Lynn let out a small chuckle. "Heh. Guess I got you that time, huh?"

Lucy looked like she was debating something with herself for a moment before she spoke. "Hey, Lynn. Can we talk? I've got a lot of stuff on my mind."

Lynn shrugged. "Sure. Actually, I've got some stuff on my mind too."

...

After exiting Jimmy's portal, the group found themselves in what looked like a castle. Jimmy looked around in confusion. "Huh? Where are we? I set the machine to send us to Danny's school. I must have made a miscalculation."

"Oh, you've made no mistake." The group heard a voice from behind them. They turned around to see what Rick remembered as the vampiric looking man, floating in the air. He was floating in front of what looked like a portal machine. "I've taken up residence at Casper High or at least where Casper High once stood. I'm glad you could finally make it. I've been waiting for you all to arrive."

"Oh great, we can finish this quickly then." Rick stated. "Hey, do you mind telling me where the hell Tammy is?"

Vlad smirked. "Tammy? Hmm. I'm afraid I haven't the slightest idea what you're talking about."

"Well, if you won't tell us, then." Rick quickly got out his laser gun and fired a shot, only for Vlad to quickly create a ghostly red shield that bounced it back at Rick. "Whoa!" Rick shouted as he barely dodged it.

"I wouldn't advise doing a trick like that again. If you haven't noticed, I have the upper hand." Vlad gestured towards two people. A woman in a blue jumpsuit and a large man in an orange jumpsuit. The way they swayed back on forth gave the group the impression they were brainwashed.

Danny had a look of distress upon seeing them. "Mom! Dad!"

"All you need to do is join me and I will let them go."

"Really? You're doing the whole 'join me' bit? Oof." Rick snarked before getting elbowed by Lincoln.

"I told you before, I use my powers for good." Danny shot back at Vlad.

"You cannot resist, Danny. The Syndicate cannot be defeated. With every passing moment, this ghost portal provides us with power for the Syndicate's ultimate plan and provides me with unlimited ghost energy."

"I will never join you!"

Vlad let out a sigh. "You will have plenty of time to reconsider my offer further as you rot for eternity in the Ghost Zone Prison!" He laughed as he then shot some red orbs out of his hands that dispersed upon hitting each of the heroes. All of them suddenly started to feel sleepy.

"Damn it...should've taken him out...when I had the chance..." Rick bemoaned before falling unconscious.

Vlad chuckled as he stared at the unconscious forms of his enemies. He'd contact Tammy to tell her about Rick's capture later but for now, he decided to let them suffer for a while.

...

The six awoke to find themselves in a ghostly cell. Rick groaned as he woke up and look at everyone. "Y-You guys are really lucky that guy wasn't smart enough to kill us."

"Where are we?" Timmy asked.

"You're in my world now." The six looked to see a ghostly figure outside their cell. His skin was completely white and he wore a white suit with a black cowboy hat.

"Walker?" Danny exclaimed, recognising the ghost. "Ah! Not again! You couldn't hold me last time. What makes you think you can this time?"

"I've made some changes since you were last here boy." Walker said plainly. "This prison is just as effective against mortals as it is ghosts! So don't break the rules and you will be just fine." He then walked off.

"Nice to know the police are just as corrupt in death as they are alive." Rick snarked before looking around. "So, what, are we in this world's version of an afterlife or something?"

"Something like that." Danny answered. "We're in the Ghost Zone."

"Ghost Zone?!" Spongebob exclaimed in fear. "Are you saying that we'll have to deal with...g-g-g-ghosts?!"

"It took you this long to catch on?" Rick snarked.

"Are you okay?" Lincoln asked.

Spongebob put on a brave face. "Uh, yeah, totally. Definitely not scared at all." He wasn't hiding his fear very well.

"Normally I could just turn back into a human to get out of here." Danny explained. "But I guess that's not an option anymore."

"Hey, don't worry. I can..." Rick reached into his pockets, only for his eyes to widen.

"You forgot it again, didn't you?" Lincoln asked, giving Rick a deadpan look.

Rick sighed. "It's always at the most inconvenient times."

"Oooh."

Rick looked over too see another ghost wearing prison uniform was outside the cell. "The hell?"

"I am the box ghooooost! Beware!"

The group stared at the ghost for a moment before Danny asked. "Uh, what are you doing?"

"Walker has forced me to guard this cell to make sure none of you escape." The Box Ghost explained, still trying to speak in a spooky manner. "But I'll let you go free if you do me a favour."

Danny raised an eyebrow at him. "And that is?"

"Could you help me deal with some ghost rats?"

Everyone stared blankly at the Box Ghost. "Uh, why do you want us to help with that?" Danny asked.

"They are very inconvenient!"

"Yeah, I have a better idea." Rick said before pulling out a gun.

"What is that?" The Box Ghost asked.

"It's a gun that kills ghosts."

"WHAT?!" Lincoln, Danny and the Box Ghost all exclaimed at once.

"It's a gun that kills ghosts." Rick repeated. "I'm the smartest man in the universe. You didn't think I could invent something like this? Anyway, let us out or you get to die a second time. Unless you want to find out if the afterlife has its own afterlife."

"R-Right away sir!" The Box Ghost stammered before pushing a button on the wall, opening the cell. "Please don't tell Walker I freed you."

The group ran out. As they ran, Lincoln asked Rick. "You actually made a gun that kills ghosts?"

"Course not, Lincoln." Rick replied. "I just had a feeling that guy would fall for it."

"You sure bringing this guy along was a good idea?" Danny asked Jimmy, suddenly having doubts about this alliance."

"I know he seems a little...morally questionable. But I assure you, having him as an ally will be more than beneficial to us." Jimmy assured him.

The group eventually ran into a room filled with ghost police officers. "Looks like we'll have to fight our way through this one." Danny stated.

Jimmy got out his freeze ray. "Understood."

Cosmo and Wanda turned into some kind of gun connected to a backpack. This gun had the ability to fire stars. "I'm on it." Timmy exclaimed.

Spongebob gulped as he put on some large red karate gloves. "R-Right behind you."

Lincoln looked down at his hands, frowning. "Probably should have brought my Ace Savvy outfit."

Rick rolled his eyes as he got out his laser gun. "Whatever."

...

After battling through the horde of ghost officers, the group made their way to the prison yard outside the building. It was there where they came across Walker, who scowled at the three. "Walker!" Danny shouted.

"This is my prison." Walker stated, unperturbed by the attempted prison escape. "I make the rules. You boys are never getting out of here."

"We'll see about that!" Danny exclaimed before flying forward to throw a punch. Walker managed to catch the punch before grabbing Danny's arm and throwing him away.

"Kah-rah-tay chop!" Spongebob shouted as he attempted to karate chop Walker, only for his hand to go through him. "Huh?"

Walker chuckled. "Nice try." He then kicked Spongebob away.

"Owie!" Spongebob cried as he landed away from the fight.

"You can hit mortals but they still can't touch you?" Danny asked in disbelief.

"Amazing what otherworldly science can accomplish." Walker taunted as he and Danny continued their fight.

"What do we do?" Lincoln asked. "Do we just stand here and hope Danny wins?"

Rick held his chin in thought. "I-I've got a better idea." He got out a small, cube-shaped device and pressed a button on it before throwing to the ground near Walker.

"What the? Aaaargggh!" Walker suddenly screamed as he was enveloped by an energy field that sucked Walker into the device.

Rick went over and picked up the device. "I'll take that." He then put it in one of his coat pockets.

Danny had a conflicted look on his face. "Are you just gonna...leave him in there?"

Rick shrugged. "What? Dude's a corrupt cop. I bet all this guy did was throw his weight around and arrest people just because he felt like it. Am I right?"

Danny scratched the back of his head. "Well you're not exactly wrong but-"

"Alright, let's move on then." Rick interrupted him.

"So, how are we going to get out of this Ghost Zone?" Timmy asked.

"Ya know, Vlad's not the only one with a ghost portal." Danny said.

"You have access to another ghost portal?" Jimmy asked.

"It's nearby. Follow me."

...

The group exited the ghost portal to find themselves in some kind of laboratory/basement. "Fascinating!" Jimmy exclaimed as he looked around. "This looks like ghost hunting technology."

"Whoa!" Lincoln gasped. "This stuff looks amazing!" He'd never seen anything like this on ARGGH.

"Did you make these devices yourself?" Jimmy asked Danny.

"Uh...No. Uh. The Fenton Family are the ghost technology wizards." Danny chuckled. "Not me."

"The Fentons? Are they the freaky couple Vlad had trapped in his throne room?" Timmy asked. "If they're ghost experts, we should try to rescue them!"

"We can't! Vlad's too powerful with his ghost portal open." Danny explained. "We need to find some way to shut it down."

"Good thing we've got a really destructive mad scientist on the team, huh?" Cosmo remarked.

Rick shrugged. "I mean, we could just blow up his castle if you guys want an easy solution."

"Let's try to think of something that doesn't result in collateral damage." Lincoln said.

"What if we asked him really, really nicely? Do you think he'd stop then?" Spongebob asked.

Rick scowled. "You know, you really get under my skin."

Danny chuckled awkwardly. "Uh, let's get going! We'll figure out a plan once we get to Vlad's castle."

"Danny?! Are you here we've got an emergency!" The group heard a voice call out before two teenagers entered the basement. One was a goth girl wearing a black shirt and skirt. The other was a nerdy looking guy wearing glasses and a red beret.

"Uh, are those friends of yours?" The goth one asked Danny.

"Are those friends of yours?" Rick snarked at Danny.

"Uh, right. These are my friends. The goth girl is Sam and the other one's Tucker." Danny explained.

Sam folded her arms. "I'm more of an ultra-recyclo-vegetarian but I guess 'goth girl' works works fine." She snarked.

Rick rolled his eyes. "Wow. I hate you already."

Sam scowled indignantly. "Excuse me?!"

"Uh, didn't you say there was an emergency?" Danny asked, hoping to de-escalate the situation.

"Oh, right. You better take a look at this." Tucker said before he and Sam ran out of the basement with everyone else following after.

...

"All this happened while I was gone?" Danny asked as he stared at the nearly empty streets of Amity Park as the only people around were those that looked like zombies.

"Did everyone get turned into zombies?" Timmy asked, looking somewhat nervous.

"They're not zombies." Sam clarified. "They've been overshadowed by ghosts that Vlad unleashed onto the town."

"Then we better clean things up here before we deal with Vlad." Danny stated.

"How do you usually deal with these ghosts?" An impatient Rick asked.

"Usually I just beat them up, suck them up into the Fenton thermos and then send them back into the Ghost Zone." Danny explained as he got out a metallic looking, silver and green thermos.

Rick raised an eyebrow at the thermos. "Hey, uh, do you mind if I took a look that? I-I might be able to give it some upgrades."

"Um, sure, I guess." An unsure Danny said before handing Rick the thermos.

After fiddling with the thermos for a minute, which involved putting some kind of crystal in it, Rick handed it back to Danny. "Ok, now fly above town and activate it."

"Ok?" Danny then did exactly as Rick said and activated the thermos. It created a beam so powerful, it actually pulled all the ghosts out of the bodies they were overshadowing and into the thermos within seconds. After staring in disbelief at what happened for a second, Danny floated back down to the rest of the group. "Well this just made ghost hunting a lot easier."

"So, what, do you have to deal with ghost attacks like this daily or something?" Rick asked.

Danny sighed. "Pretty much."

"Man, if this world has a God or something like that, he must be a real asshole."

"So what's the deal with these guys again?" Tucker then decided to ask.

Danny sighed again. "I'll explain later when this is all over."

"Well, now that this crisis had been resolved, it would probably be best if we made our way to Vlad's castle posthaste." Jimmy stated. "There's still one big ghost we need to take care of."

"Then let's close his portal for good!" Danny exclaimed. The group then ran off, following Danny as they made their way to Vlad's castle.

On the way, Lincoln decided to ask Danny something. "So how did you get ghost powers in the first place?"

"Well, you see-" Danny started before getting interrupted by Rick.

"Lincoln, we came here to save people, not do homework. I don't think we really need to understand the context of everything going on in this world."

Lincoln sighed. "Fine."

...

"This place isn't so creepy..." Spongebob laughed nervously as the group entered Vlad's castle. "Right guys...right?"

"This place is awesome!" Timmy exclaimed. "It's just like something out of a scary movie."

"Tell me about it!" An equally excited Lincoln added.

"We need a way to shut down that ghost portal. We can't beat Vlad while that thing is open." Danny explained.

"I'm guessing Vlad would need a lot of energy to keep that portal open. He must have generators in this castle." Jimmy deduced.

"That's why you're the boy genius." Spongebob laughed.

Rick narrowed his eyes at Spongebob. "I don't get it. Where's the joke?"

"Let's find those generators and shut 'em down." Danny exclaimed, ignoring Rick.

...

After searching around the castle, dealing with ghosts and robots in the process, the group eventually found a massive room with a bunch of large generators. While the others worked on destroying them, Rick decided to discuss something with Danny. "So, uh, what's the deal with this Vlad guy? Thought it might be important to know since we'll be dealing with him and stuff."

"It's a long story." Danny stated. "There was an accident at the university he attended with my parents that gave him ghost powers. Now he's a billionaire that wants to rule the world and also wants to steal my mom from my dad."

Rick cringed. "Yeesh. Is he like this universe's equivalent of Elon Musk or something?"

Danny raised an eyebrow. "Who's that? A friend of yours?"

Rick scoffed. "Yeah, no I don't associate with insecure, douchebag billionaires." He then looked away before muttering to himself. "Unlike some Ricks..."

The two then heard a noise and looked over to see that the others had destroyed the generators. "Ok, that should do it!" Danny said. "Now that the ghost portal is out of the picture, let's go find Vlad!"

...

Eventually, the group made their way into Vlad's throne room where he was waiting for them. Both of Danny's parents were in the corner of the room, still brainwashed. "So, Danny, you've escaped from the Ghost Zone and shut down my portal."

"Give it up, Vlad!" Danny shouted. "You've lost your power and Amity Park has been saved! It's all over, just give up."

"You underestimate me, Daniel. With the help of the Syndicate, I'll soon have it up and running again. And, we've already harnessed enough ghost energy for our device."

"'Our device'? The syndicate is building something?"

"Yes, and very soon you will all bow down to the might of the Syndicate." Vlad looked over at Rick. "As for you, Richard Sanchez, I'm not quite sure what one of my associates wants with you but I imagine capturing you will be beneficial to the Syndicate."

"Oh, look at me, I use people's full names because I'm a rich, pretentious asshole." Rick mocked.

"WHAT DID YOU JUST CALL ME?!" An enraged Vlad snarled.

"Hey, why don't you try using that thermos on him?" Rick asked Danny.

Danny shrugged. "I guess it's worth a try." He then got out his thermos and activated it.

Vlad scoffed. "Oh please. Do you honestly think that..." To Vlad's shock, he actually started to get pulled towards the thermos. "What?! How?! This can't be!"

"It's working!" Spongebob cheered.

"Curses!" Vlad cursed. Seeing as he had no choice, he transformed back into his human form, now appearing to have grey hair in a ponytail and a regular black suit. In this form, the thermos couldn't affect him. "I can't believe this!"

Danny laughed, mockingly. "You better believe it, Vlad. You've lost."

"For now, maybe, but soon you will regret standing up to the Syndicate." He pressed a button on his watch. A portal that looked more like one of Rick's portals appeared. "This is far from over. Far, far from over." He jumped through the portal which quickly closed behind him.

"That mean old Vlad escaped!" Spongebob exclaimed.

"At least, the Fentons are safe." Timmy added as Danny's parents had been freed from their brainwashing.

"Ugh...where am I?" A dazed Jack Fenton asked. Neither he nor Maddie noticed everyone else in the room.

"Well, that's a relief. Ok, let's get outta here before they notice us." Danny said, looking somewhat nervous all of a sudden.

"But, I was hoping to learn more about their ghost hunting technology!" Jimmy argued.

"Trust me, ghost hunters and ghost boys don't mix." Danny shot back. "Besides, Amity Park is back to normal and we've got other worlds to save."

"Dang it." Lincoln said, also hoping to learn more about ghost hunting.

Jimmy sighed before pressing a button on his watch which caused one of his portals to appear. "You're right. Let's go."

...

Upon returning to Professor Calamitous' secret lab, Vlad turned back into his ghost form. He couldn't help but groan at his failure. "Damn it all!" He couldn't help but wonder what kind of man that Rick Sanchez was.

"Did something happen?" Professor Calamitous asked as he approached Vlad.

"Unfortunately I was foiled by Danny and his new little band of misfits." Vlad explained. "Whatever. I've gathered enough ghost energy for our plan."

"You seriously lost?" Tammy asked as she approached Vlad. "I thought you had, like, ghost powers? It should have been easy for you!"

Vlad scowled. "You know, I don't exactly see what you're adding to this Syndicate. You're not harvesting any energy from your world and you haven't even lent us any of your troops for our cause."

Tammy rolled her eyes. "I got you out of there, didn't I?" She said as she showed off her portal gun. "Besides, I already told you. My army's not in a position to risk itself over people from another universe. But if you can capture Rick, I'll lend you all the troops you'll ever need."

"Well I can't exactly say I like our chances of that." Vlad admitted. "Out of all of our enemies, that Rick Sanchez seemed to be the most dangerous of them by far!"

"Now, now, this is just a small setback." Calamitous assured them. "I'm sure Plankton or Crocker will have better luck dealing with our enemies and capturing that Rick."

The look on Vlad's face told Tammy that it wasn't likely. Whatever. Truthfully, even when she joined this Syndicate, she had a feeling that their plan wouldn't really work out. However, she still joined for two simple reasons. One was to see if they'd surprise her and actually capture Rick. The other was to see if they were acceptable candidates to join the Galactic Federation.

Willingly or otherwise.

...

"So, what did you want to talk about?" Lynn asked Lucy. Both of them were currently sat on Lucy's bed.

Lucy looked somewhat uncomfortable, as if she didn't know how to put this. "Remember when you...ruled the world?"

Lynn raised an eyebrow. "Yeah?"

"I've been wondering...what made you give that up. I kind of have an idea but I wanted to ask you myself."

Lynn couldn't help but look uncomfortable. "What brought this up?"

"I've been thinking. What if it was me that had all that power. I wonder if I would've been strong enough to give all of that up. Lincoln already told us his version of what happened but I wonder if there was anything more to it."

Lynn sighed. "Well, it was because it was hurting you and everyone else, for one." Lucy nodded. That she already knew. "But...it was also because...deep down, I knew all of it was just fake. All that praise and love. It just didn't feel right." Lucy nodded again, encouraging her to continue. "I dunno, I think deep down, I knew what I was doing was wrong. I think there was always a part of me screaming at myself to stop."

"Always?"

"I meant since..." Lynn held that thought. "Actually, that might be true too."

Lucy thought about what Lynn had said. "You know, I still think you were pretty brave to be able to give all that up. It couldn't have been easy."

Lynn gave her a slight smile. "Thanks, Luce."

"I know your time in middle school was hard. I understand what it's like to be bullied. You can always talk to me about it if it helps."

Lynn looked down for a moment. "You sure you want to hear all about it?"

"I don't have anything better to do today."

Lynn sighed. Truthfully, there was still a small part of her calling herself a weakling. That she was making a fool of herself. That she needed to toughen up. She decided to ignore that voice. "Alright. To be honest though, I think I've always kinda struggled at getting along with others..."

...

After a brief visit back to Jimmy's lab, the group went over to Spongebob's world. They were now in the underwater town of Bikini Bottom. They were currently next to three houses. One was a pineapple. One looked like a Moai statue and the last one was a rock. Timmy looked around in amazement. "Wow. This is Bikini Bottom? I can't believe we're under the sea."

"Everyone, keep chewing your Neutronic Air Gum." Jimmy reminded them. "It will let you breathe in this environment."

"You know...there's a probably a more convenient way to...do this." Rick said inbetween chewing his gum. "But, uh, Lincoln doesn't want me interfering too much so I guess he doesn't mind going around in wet clothes." This earned a glare from Lincoln.

"I can't wait to introduce you to all my friends." Spongebob exclaimed. "There's Patrick and Squidward and Mr.-"

"Uh, SpongeBob, where is everybody?" Danny asked after looking around.

Spongebob frowned. "Now that you mention it, it is a bit quiet. Too quiet."

"If everyone is missing, the Syndicate may be responsible." Jimmy deduced.

"No, Jimmy, I think it's something much more devious than that. I think that someone has prepared...a surprise birthday party for me!" Spongebob then ran over to the house resembling a Moai statue before bursting inside. "Surprise!" He was met with complete silence. "Hm. There's no one here."

"Was that even your house?" Rick asked as Spongebob rejoined the group.

"I don't think that's it, SpongeBob. I think that-"

"Surprise." Jimmy was interrupted as the group realised they were surrounded by robot minions.

"Wait, how did they sneak up on us?" Lincoln asked.

"You're only just starting to question things?" Rick snarked.

Spongebob stared in confusion before smiling. "Ohh, I get it! It's a costume party!"

"I don't think they're costumes." Danny said as he got ready for a fight.

"Hy-yah!" Everyone looked over to see one of the robots had been chopped in half by a single karate chop. The person that did this appeared to be a squirrel wearing a diving suit. In a matter of seconds, the squirrel had taken out all of the robots with little effort. "Spongebob! Thank goodness you're okay!" She then noticed the rest of the group. "Are those friends of yours? Those might be the smallest humans I've ever seen."

"Sandy! I knew you wouldn't miss my surprise party." Spongebob exclaimed.

Sandy gave Spongebob a deadpan look. "Spongebob, your birthday's not for another month."

Lincoln looked confused. "Wait, there's actually humans in this world?"

Curious, Rick typed something into a device on his wrist. A hologram of the planet then appeared. "What the (dolphin noise), why's the scale of this planet so much bigger than..." He blinked in confusion. "Uh, what the (dolphin noise) just came out of my mouth?"

Sandy tutted at Rick in disappointment. "Is there really any need to be a sailor mouth?"

"You know what, on second thought, I don't need to know how this universe works." Rick decided.

"That's the spirit!" Cosmo praised. "Ignorance is bliss."

"Well if this ain't weirder than a penguin in the desert." Sandy remarked. "Anyway, y'all better follow me. I'll explain the situation once we get to the Krusty Krab."

...

As they made their way over to the Krusty Krab, Lincoln decided to ask something to Sandy. "So, did you always live here, or...?"

Sandy chuckled. "Course not, kid. I'm from the surface. I'm a proud, Texas born squirrel."

Rick raised an eyebrow. "You think being from Texas is something to be proud of?"

Sandy quickly turned around as she glowered at Rick. "Yeah? So? Ya got something to say about Texas, bub?"

"Well-"

"Rick, maybe you shouldn't bring politics into a world full of talking fish." Lincoln suggested.

"I don't know what a politics is but I think you should stop for the sake of your health." Spongebob added nervously.

Rick backed down. "...point taken."

"That's what I thought!" Sandy spat.

...

It didn't take long for the group to reach the Krusty Krab after that. There a few other fish situated at the restaurant that resembled a huge lobster trap. "OK, guys, here's the situation. Plankton has taken control of Bikini Bottom. He's locked up anyone who's resisted and one of the first to get captured was Mr. Krabs." Sandy explained.

Spongebob gasped. "Oh no!"

"Mr. Krabs? Really?" Rick asked.

"Now, he's catching all the jellyfish in Jellyfish Fields and transporting them back to his fortress factory where he's extracting power from their sting." Sandy continued, ignoring Rick.

Spongebob frowned. "Those poor jellyfish."

"I have a plan to save the jellyfish and overthrow Plankton, and we need your help. First, you'll need to go to Jellyfish Fields and destroy his jellyfish harvesting machines. That should disrupt Plankton's plans."

"And save those wild Jellyfish!"

"Next, you'll sneak into Plankton's fortress and shut down his machines."

"And save the captured jellyfish!"

"Please shut up." Rick pleaded.

"Sorry."

After shooting an annoyed look at Rick, Sandy continued. "In all the chaos, you should be able to sneak into Plankton's control centre to stop his operation completely."

"Ooh, this is like a spy movie! Do we have any secret agents?" Timmy asked.

Sandy smiled at Timmy. "You're smart, kid. We've already got an agent in Jellyfish Fields. Your mission is to make contact with our agent."

"And how will we know this agent?" Jimmy asked.

"Don't worry, he's one of our best men. His code name is 'Agent Star'."

"Agent Star..." Spongebob tapped his chin. "Nope. No idea who that could possibly be."

"Wait, aren't you coming with us?" Lincoln asked.

"Someone's gotta stay here and keep everyone safe." Sandy explained. "Don't worry, I know y'all can do it. Good luck!"

...

"The Jellyfish Fields are just at the end of this gully. We should be able to find the secret agent when we get there." Spongebob explained as they walked through the gully.

"Well, let's get going. The sooner we stop them harvesting jellyfish, the sooner we can go to the factory and stop Plankton!" Danny exclaimed.

"We should proceed carefully. It's likely they will be guarding the Jellyfish Fields." Jimmy warned.

"Ok, well let's stop blabbing and get going then!" Timmy added.

As they moved on, Rick walked closer to Spongebob. "Ok, do you think you could explain who this Plankton dude is?"

"He's Mr. Krabs' arch-nemesis!" Spongebob stated. "He's been trying to steal the formula for the krabby patty for years!"

Rick blinked in confusion. "He...you're saying all he wants is the recipe for a burger?"

"Not just that. He wants the recipe so he can take over the world!"

Rick was struggling to find the correlation between burger recipe and world domination. "I...you know what, I'm just not gonna question it. Though, if he has your boss, wouldn't he have gotten that recipe now at this point?"

"No way!" Spongebob answered confidently. "Mr. Krabs wouldn't have given up the secret formula that easily. It's the most tightly guarded secret in Bikini Bottom!"

Rick just shook his head in disbelief. "Whatever."

Not long after that conversation, the group arrived at Jellyfish fields. "Quietly." Spongebob whispered. "No one must know we're here, until we find Agent Star."

"Hey Spongebob!" Not one second after Spongebob spoke later, a chubby, pink sea star ran out from behind a rock and started shouting in the loudest voice possible. "Don't tell anyone but Sandy made me a secret agent!" The sea star began laughing maniacally.

"Patrick! Watch out for that jellyfish harvester!" Spongebob called out as a machine with a large vacuum at the front came towards Patrick. Spongebob's warning was too late as the machine sucked Patrick inside of it. "Patrick! No!" Spongebob cried.

Judging by the sounds he was making, it didn't sound like Patrick was having a good time inside the harvester. "Help! Eek! Ahahaha. Okay! Ow! Ahahaha. It tickles. SpongeBob, you have... Ahaha! SpongeBob. Aha! Help! Ouch! Sponge! Ouch! Sponge! Dow! Ouch! SpongeBob! Ouch!" His cries of pain faded as the jellyfish harvester drove away. Spongebob was inconsolable.

"One of her best men, huh?" Rick snarked.

"Don't worry, SpongeBob. We'll get him back." Danny assured him. "Let's stick to Sandy's plan. We'll take out these jellyfish harvesters and then, enter Plankton's fortress. We'll find Patrick there."

...

Once Spongebob had calmed down, the group began enacting their plan and started destroying the jellyfish harvesters. Which ended up easier than they thought it would be thanks to Rick simply blowing them all up. While he was busy, Danny had been having a conversation with Lincoln. "You really have ten sisters?" Danny asked in disbelief.

Lincoln nodded. "Yep. It's about as chaotic as it sounds."

Danny gave Lincoln a sympathetic look. "Man, and I thought one sister was enough."

"I had a brother once. It didn't exactly work out." Jimmy remarked.

"Oh, hey, same!" Timmy added.

Lincoln gave both of them odd looks. "What's that supposed to mean?"

"Done." Rick said as he reunited with everyone before Timmy or Jimmy had a chance to explain.

With the harvesters destroyed, the group moved on and eventually found Plankton's fortress. "That looks like our way in." Danny said as he looked at the giant doors at the front.

"Patrick, Mr. Krabs, all the little jellyfish, hang on! We're coming!" Spongebob bellowed as he ran towards the doors.

...

After managing to get into the fortress, the group found themselves in a large room filled with containers full of jellyfish. "We need to shut this factory down." Danny stated. "We can't let the Syndicate collect any more energy from these jellyfish!"

The group then heard something murmuring. "Wait, what's that noise?" Timmy asked.

"PATRICK!" Spongebob exclaimed after spotting Patrick in the corner of the room, trapped in a large jar. "Hooray! Don't worry, buddy! We'll have you out of there in a jiffy." He ran over to the jar and pulled the top off.

Patrick let out a sigh of relief as he squeezed himself out of the jar. "Thanks, Spongebob." He then noticed everyone else, who were busy freeing all the jellyfish. "Are those friends of yours? Those are some weird looking fish."

Spongebob giggled. "No, Patrick, these guys are all from other worlds. We've teamed up to take on the Evil Syndicate!"

Patrick stared blankly at Spongebob. "I don't follow."

"Think we're just about done here." Rick said as he approached Spongebob and Patrick. "So, uh, can anyone explain what the point of this guy being here is?" He asked, referring to Patrick.

Patrick scratched his head. "Did Squidward always have spiky hair?"

Spongebob giggled as Rick scowled. "That's not Squidward. That's my new friend, Rick."

"Ok, let's not make this out to be anything it isn't. We're acquaintances at best." Rick clarified.

"Can we be acquaintances too?" Patrick asked as he raised his hand."

"No."

"Aw."

"That's all the jellyfish freed." Lincoln said as he and the rest of the group reconvened.

"Now that we've saved the jellyfish, it's time to find Plankton!" Timmy stated.

"Hooray, you did it!" Patrick cheered before holding his chin in thought. "I think Mr. Krabs is in here with Plankton somewhere."

"Are you gonna help us, Patrick?" Spongebob asked.

Patrick yawned. "Nah, I think I've done enough work for today."

"You didn't even do anything." Rick said.

Patrick smirked. "Or did I?" There was a short silence before Patrick asked Spongebob. "Did I?"

...

As the group made their way through the fortress, they passed a giant computer. "No, stop, come back." The computer spoke in a bored voice. "Well, I did all I can do."

"Hi Karen!" Spongebob waved at her.

"Hi Spongebob." Karen responded.

"You know her?" Lincoln asked.

"Of course! Karen is Plankton's computer wife."

"That's...kinda weird." Lincoln admitted.

Rick shrugged. "Eh. I've heard worse.

...

The group eventually found their way to the roof of the fortress where they found both Plankton and Mr. Krabs. Mr. Krabs was currently strapped to some kind of torture machine. The method of torture that the machine was applying to the red crab was attempting to steal the money from his pockets. "No! Please! Not me money!" Mr. Krabs pleaded.

"I've tried being reasonable with you, Krabs, and I've tried being unreasonable. Yet, you refuse to surrender the Krabby Patty formula. Why do you resist? Why won't you give me that formula?!" Plankton ranted.

"No, Mr. Krabs! Don't tell him!" Spongebob shouted, getting Plankton's attention.

"What?!? SpongeBob?!?" Plankton exclaimed in surprise.

"Plankton, you've gone too far this time. What would your mother think?"

Plankton smirked. "Why, I'm sure that she would be very proud of me. I was always her favorite. Prepare to be crushed!" Plankton then seemingly jumped off the roof, only for a giant mech that looked like a crab to jump back onto the roof. "Let's see how you morons deal with this!" Plankton taunted from the cockpit of the mech.

"A crab? Really?" Rick asked.

Plankton then noticed Rick. "Oh look, it's the big, bad genius that apparently toppled a galactic federation. I don't know what that brat wants with you, old man, but you're about to see what a real genius looks like!"

Rick rolled his eyes. "Ooh, big words from someone who can't even steal a burger recipe." He taunted, causing Plankton to growl in anger. "Seriously, you call yourself a genius and yet your goal in life is to steal someone's recipe?"

"Hey, I helped make that formula in the first place! It should be mine!"

"Wait, really?" Rick asked Spongebob.

Spongebob held his chin in thought for a moment. "Mmm, kinda?"

Rick shook his head, turning back to Plankton. "Well, whatever, someone really ought to teach you how to get your priorities straight."

"SOMEONE SHOULD PUT YOU IN A BOX, FLOATING DOWN THE RIVER, GRANDPA!" Plankton shouted back, actually taking Rick off guard for a moment. However, just as Plankton was about to move his mech, all of its legs suddenly blew up. "W-What?"

"Yeah, while you were talking, I sent out some miniature drones that attached themselves to your legs before blowing up." Rick explained. "Kinda thought a real genius would notice something like that but eh."

Plankton growled furiously. "Rrrrrggh! You think you've won, huh? Well I still have my weapons!" Plankton then heard a screaming noise. He looked up, only for Patrick to suddenly fall through the cockpit of the mech and land on top of him. "OW!"

"Patrick! Where did you come from?" Spongebob asked.

"Um...up there?" Patrick said, pointing towards the sky (ocean?). Upon looking up, nobody saw anything.

After Patrick got up and jumped down to the others, Plankton groaned as he stood back up, recovering from getting squashed. "Ugh. Bleh. I need a shower. You may have stopped my plans but the Syndicate is still getting energy from Dimmsdale. We will soon have enough energy to finish the Doomsday Machine and then, you will all bow down before me. Nothing can stop the Syndicate! Nothing!" Plankton let out an evil laugh as the cockpit disconnected from the mech and flew off.

"Well that was dumb." Rick remarked.

"'Doomsday Machine'? That doesn't sound good." Spongebob added.

"We better find out what Crocker's been up to in Dimmsdale." Timmy stated just as Jimmy summoned a portal.

"If we don't stop them from powering that machine, I have a feeling all our worlds will be at risk." A worried Danny added before entering the portal.

"Wait! Ye've forgotten about me!" Mr. Krabs shouted just as the portal closed.

...

Tammy found herself staring down at the picture on her phone of the rebel from Earth. This truly baffled her. Of all the people she knew back at Royal Woods, why would-

Tammy was interrupted from her thoughts by a beeping noise. Quickly, she summoned a portal as a small cockpit flew out of it before landing. An irate Plankton jumped out of it. "It's not fair! You didn't tell me that Rick guy would be such a cheater!"

Tammy rolled her eyes. "I told you not to underestimate him."

"Oh, no worries." Calamitous assured them. "I'm sure Crocker will be able to deal with Rick."

Tammy raised an eyebrow. "You mean that weirdo teacher from Dimmsdale? He's gonna be the one to take down Rick?"

"Yes...well...um..." Professor Calamitous stammered.

Tammy huffed. "Whatever." She said before storming off.

While Professor Calamitous, Plankton and Vlad were talking, Tammy decided to do a little research of her own as she went over to a large computer. She had intended to look into the people who Rick was currently allying himself with before an odd file caught her eye. "Syndicate candidates?" She opened the file which showed her some images of a few random people.

There was only person she really recognised. It was a giant woman with white skin, white, spiky hair and a gem in her forehead. She wore a long transparent white dress and was constantly radiating a white light. This was White Diamond. Leader of the Great Diamond Authority on the Gem Homeworld. A planet the Galactic Federation always stayed out of the way of. For good reason.

The rest of them consisted of a humanoid lizard, wearing a suit. A large newt, wearing a crown and armour. A man who's face was covered by a creepy deer mask and was wearing a white cloak. And, weirdest of them all, a yellow triangle with one eye that was wearing a top hat. Tammy didn't recognise any of these people.

There was an image of one more person. It was Tammy herself. Each image had some information next to it that Tammy didn't care enough to read them.

"What are you doing?" Professor Calamitous suddenly asked from behind her.

Were Professor Calamitous more intimidating and not a goofy looking, little old man, she might have actually jumped. Instead, she turned to him with a questioning look. "What is all this?"

"Oh that? Those were, ehh, potential candidates I was looking into for the Syndicate." Professor Calamitous explained. "From your universe that is."

"How come you didn't get any of them to join?" Tammy asked.

Professor Calamitous suddenly looked rather sheepish. "Ah, well, you seem um...they seemed a little, uh...out of our league."

"Out of your league?" Tammy glanced back at the screen before frowning. "Wait, are you saying that I'm the only one that's in your league?"

"Well...yes, actually."

Tammy scowled, suddenly feeling a little insulted.

...

Lynn and Lucy had spent a long time simply talking about life in their schools. They both were currently now lying on the floor, simply staring up at the ceiling. "You know, I saw something weird today." Lynn spoke.

"What is it?" Lucy asked.

"I saw Lola playing a video game with Lincoln."

"Is that so weird?"

"Kinda. I don't think I've ever seen her even look at a videogame before today."

"Sigh. I suppose a lot has changed recently." Something suddenly hit Lucy. About how all of her sisters were so...extreme in their interests with little overlap. She wondered if that was just coincidence or an unconscious effort to stand out from one another. "What brought this up?" She then asked.

"I've just been thinking. Now that I've given up on sports, I kinda...don't know what to do with myself anymore."

Lucy was tempted to tell her that she didn't really need to completely give up on sports before another thought crossed our mind. "We don't need to revolve ourselves around one thing."

"Yeah...but I don't know what else to do."

"Can I confess something?"

"Sure."

"Do you remember why I wanted to hide the fact that I liked Princess Pony?"

"'Cus you didn't want people to tease you, right?"

"That's just one reason. I've had people make fun of me for me being the way that I am. Telling me that I'm just 'in a phase' and that I'll 'grow out of it'. Hearing those things made me want to stick to the dark. If people knew I liked Princess Pony, I was scared that I would've proven them right."

Lynn gave Lucy an apologetic look. "Hey, sorry if anything I've ever said got to you. I know I've said a lot of things without thinking."

"It's okay." Lucy assured. "Luan really helped me with getting thicker skin. Besides, I realise now that I shouldn't care what people think. I should be the me that I want to be."

There was a short moment of silence before Lynn spoke again. "Can I confess something too?"

"Go on?"

"Remember when I ran away?"

"Sigh. How could I forget."

"Truth is...while I was gone... I actually kinda missed hearing your poetry."

Lucy gave Lynn a surprised look. "Really?"

"Yeah. I know I've never told you but... I actually kinda like your poems."

"Huh." Was all Lucy said before pondering something to herself. Eventually, she asked. "Lynn, why not take a step in my shoes?"

Lynn raised an eyebrow at Lucy. "You mean...try being a goth?"

"Why not?"

To Lynn's own surprise, she actually found herself considering the idea. It was the complete opposite of what she usually was and yet she couldn't help but wonder what it'd be like to be something else for a change. "I dunno."

"If doing that alone would make you uncomfortable, I wouldn't mind also being something else for once. The darkness can get ever so dull at times. So I wouldn't mind."

Lynn shrugged. "I guess it can't hurt to try."

Lucy then said something Lynn never really expected her to say. "Then do you want to come with me to the mall to buy some clothes?"

...

After another short stop at Jimmy's lab to dry their clothes, the group set off to Dimmsdale. However, upon arriving, the group found themselves in front of a huge golden fortress. "Wow! Is that real gold? It must be worth a fortune! If only it wasn't so ugly looking..." Timmy remarked, referring to the fact that the entrance to the fortress was shaped like Crocker's head.

Wanda got worried as she noticed something at the top of the fortress. "Oh, Timmy! This doesn't look good. There's a rainbow of pure fairy magic flowing into Crocker's Fortress."

"Why is that bad?" Jimmy asked. "Rainbows are simply the result of light refracting through moisture in the atmosphere."

"Also, what do you mean by fairy magic?" Rick asked.

Timmy started to look nervous. "Uh, what she means is that, uh..."

Jimmy had a look of realisation. "Oh, I get it. Crocker must be extracting energy from Timmy's computer simulation!"

Timmy grinned. "Yeah! What he said!"

Rick gave Timmy a suspicious look. "Uh huh."

Timmy awkwardly cleared his throat. "Well, anyway, we've got to stop him!"

"You're right." Jimmy agreed. "Let's find a way in and investigate."

...

Unfortunately, very little of note happened as the group made their way through the fortress besides occasionally dealing with some robots. It made Lincoln bemoan the fact that he'd barely even got a look at Dimmsdale itself. To pass the boredom, he was currently chatting with Timmy. "So, he attacks people with his chin?" Lincoln asked.

"An invincible, super powered chin." Timmy clarified. "But yeah, basically. So what's that Ace Savvy guy like?"

"Ooh, are you guys talking about superheroes?" Spongebob asked, joining the conversation. "You have got to let me tell you about Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy."

Their conversation was cut short, however, as the group found themselves in a large room with a huge prism in the centre that appeared to be absorbing the rainbow. "Is this what's absorbing all the ma-I mean, all the energy?" Timmy asked.

"It appears so." Wanda said.

"Then let's smash it!" Danny said, punching his palm.

"Wait!" Wanda shouted. "This is the only way we'll get to Fairy World. We're just gonna have to deal with Crocker first."

"Can't we just wish for..." Cosmo asked before pausing. "Oh wait... I forgot, that's why we're here!"

Rick gave Cosmo an annoyed look. "You know, I'm starting to get a little tired of your voice."

"OK boys, on the count of three, we'll touch the prism with our wands and transport us all to Fairy World." Wanda explained.

Jimmy shrugged. "This still isn't making much sense, but if you think it will work..."

"OK, here we go. Three... two..."

Cosmo looked confused. "Was that three, two, one, go? Or just three, two...

"One!"

...

In an instant, the group found themselves in the whimsical, magical and pink land of Fairy World. A place that looked like it was on top of pink clouds in the sky. They were currently at the entrance in front of a large sign titled 'Fairy World' with an arrow pointing towards it. Rick whistled. "Wow. So this is all your computer simulation then, huh?"

Timmy chucked nervously. "Yep. Made it all myself."

Wanda looked worried as she stared at the deserted streets. "This doesn't look good, Timmy. Crocker has taken over Fairy World and is draining power from the Big Wand to feed their Doomsday Machine."

"TURNER!" The group heard a loud, booming voice before a man appeared before them, causing them all to jump. He was a huge, bulking man that wore a tight muscle green war tank top, black knee-high steeled toe combat boots and green army camouflage pants. As well as a tiny crown just like the ones Cosmo and Wanda were wearing. He was also holding on to a huge wand. "Why is it whenever something goes wrong, you are always involved, Turner?!" He bellowed at Timmy.

Rick gave the man an odd look. "So you also programmed an Arnold Schwarzenegger fairy into this place, huh?" He asked Timmy.

The large fairy bent down, getting face to face with Rick. "What was that, puny man? I couldn't hear you over how SMALL and PUNY you are!"

Rick took a step back. "Jesus, rude much? Actually, is Jesus even a thing in this world?"

"Rick, please stop talking." Lincoln pleaded.

"Got it."

"Jorgen, we're only here to stop Crocker and his Syndicate." Wanda explained.

Jorgen relaxed upon hearing this. "Ah. At last, some help! But why do you bring puny children and a creepy old man instead of mighty heroes?"

"Don't sweat it, Jorgen!" Cosmo assured him. "Big things often come in small packages. Ask Wanda."

"What are you saying?" Jorgen asked.

Rick gave Cosmo an odd look. "Yeah, what are you saying?"

"What he means is that these children and this very creepy old man are heroes." Wanda explained. "They not look like much, but we've seen them do great things."

Jorgen nodded. "All right. Since we don't have many other options, we must prepare for battle. The human named Crocker may have taken away our magic, but with your help, we can fight back. First, free all the captured fairies. We will need everybody's help to take back Fairy World!"

As the group made their way into Fairy World, Spongebob then asked. "Hey, what's a Jesus?"

...

The group then began to explore Fairy World as the they tried to find the captured 'holograms'. They found a few of them locked up in a magical cage. After dealing with the robots guarding it, they managed to break open the cage, freeing the holograms who cheered and thanked the group before flying off.

As they were searching for more of them, Rick approached Timmy. "So this Crocker dude. What's his problem?"

Timmy shrugged. "What's there to say? He's my crazy teacher who's convinced that fairies are real and that I have them."

Rick looked at Cosmo and Wanda then looked around Fairy World. "Can't imagine where he'd get that idea."

"Aren't you gonna tell him about the time you went back in time and-" Cosmo said before Timmy slapped a hand over his mouth.

"Nope! No idea what you're talking about!"

Rick gave Timmy a suspicious looked as he grinned nervously. Eventually Rick just shrugged. "Eh. You're lucky I mentally checked out of this adventure ages ago."

"Look, what's important is that he's stealing our...energy in order to take over the world." Wanda explained.

"Good enough for me, I guess." Rick decided.

...

After freeing the last group of fairies, Jorgen then appeared before them. "Well done boys... now you are ready to face the puny human who has stolen our power!"

"So you really couldn't do any of that yourself?" Rick asked.

"WHAT WAS THAT?!" Jorgen bellowed.

Rick couldn't help but gulp. "Er...nothing."

"So where can we find Crocker?" Timmy asked.

"The man named Crocker is at the Big Wand, where his machine steals our fairy power away! There is a route nearby that will take you there." Jorgen explained.

"I know where that is." Jimmy added. "I remember that back when I first came here. Crocker tried something similar then too."

"Then let's get going!" Timmy exclaimed.

...

The group reached reached what looked like a satellite tower with a big star on top. "This is it, guys! Crocker is draining the energy from here." Timmy stated.

"Let's get up there and stop him!" Danny shouted.

...

The group climbed up to one of the levels of the Big Wand where they found Crocker. He looked a little different from the image Rick saw as he was currently wearing what looked like blue army uniform with a winged helmet and was also riding what looked like a golden, flying mechanised exoskeleton. "So, Turner, you finally made it. And I see you've brought your FAIRIES with you." Crocker taunted.

"Don't call my friends fairies!" Timmy shouted back.

"You're too late!" Crocker exclaimed. "Calamitous and the Syndicate have more than enough power for the doomsday device... and very soon this Syndicate will demonstrate the power it has over all worlds... BY DESTROYING ONE!" He let out an insane cackle. "With fairy magic under my control, I am unstoppable! The Syndicate will rule the universe, and I will rule Dimmsdale and Fairy World!"

Rick shook his head. "Man, this dude's got issues. Though I can't lie, I can at least respect the idea of sticking to your beliefs and making something of yourself through them. You know, if the whole 'fairy' thing is actually real."

"Of course it's real!" Crocker exclaimed. "It's right in front of your faces!"

"Uh, you do remember that this guy's our enemy, right?" Timmy asked.

Rick shrugged. "Hey, you know, if what he's saying is right then..."

Crocker narrowed his eyes at Rick. "Wait a minute. You're that guy that teenager wanted me to capture!"

Crocker shot a blast of magical energy at Rick, only for Rick to block it with an energy absorbing shield. "And now I've run out of sympathy." Rick then blasted his own magic at Crocker which caused his mechanical exoskeleton to suddenly disappear. "What? GAH!" He then fell down to the floor.

Wanda stared at Rick in shock. "H-How did you?"

"Man, this 'simulation energy' feels pretty similar to actual magic." Rick remarked. A moment after he said that, the machines absorbing the magic from the Big Wand suddenly blew up.

Timmy just looked annoyed. "You know, these are starting to feel a little anti-climactic."

Crocker looked like he was losing it. "No... no... you can't take my power away... I am the king of Fairy World. You can't stop me!"

"The fairies have their magic back!" Timmy stated.

"Yay, magic!" Cosmo cheered.

"And Fairy World has it back too." Wanda added.

"It's over." Timmy finished.

Crocker scowled as he pressed a button on his wrist. "You may have beaten me this time, Turner! But Fairy World will be mine again! The Doomsday Machine is fully charged. You won't have a chance!" A portal appeared behind him which he quickly jumped back into before it closed.

Rick tapped his chin. "Huh. Ghost energy. Jellyfish energy. 'Fairy' energy. There's an odd one out here but I'm not sure which it is."

"Hmm...you'd think we'd learn by now that they run away when we beat them." Danny remarked.

"I just assumed that was part of the plan." Spongebob admitted.

Jimmy looked worried. "If what Crocker said is true, we need to head back to Retroville right away! We must find Professor Calamitous before he uses that Doomsday Machine!"

Timmy smiled. "Don't sweat it. I think I can fix everything now." He turned to Cosmo and Wanda. "I wish none of these problems ever happened and that all the bad guys were in jail."

"I'm sorry, Timmy. But 'Da Rules' say that you can only wish for changes to our world. Even Crocker is out of our reach for the moment." Wanda sadly explained.

Timmy then noticed everyone else giving him an odd look. "Uh, do you think you guys could just forget about everything you saw here?"

"No problem." Rick replied.

"I guess we gotta do this the old fashioned way. Ok, Jimmy, back to Retroville!"

...

"Gah!" Crocker immediately fell onto the floor upon exiting the portal.

"You failed too, huh?" Tammy asked.

Crocker scowled, still lying on the floor. "I'd like to have seen you do any better!"

Tammy groaned. This was turning out to have been a massive waste of time. Truthfully, she didn't think it was even worth it to try and bring these guys into the Federation. Despite three of them apparently being geniuses, they came across as bumbling idiots with extremely skewered priorities. The only one that seemed somewhat competent was Vlad though there were two issues with bringing him in. The first was trying to get one of those collars on someone who could become a ghost might pose a problem. The second issue was that Vlad was a creep who was obsessed with possessing a married woman. She didn't particularly like being near him.

"Not to worry." Calamitous assured Crocker. "Our Doomsday device is now fully charged. It won't be long now until the Evil Syndicate seizes victory!"

"Ok, question, is the whole 'Evil Syndicate' name supposed to be ironic or something?" Tammy decided to ask.

The rest of the syndicate gave her a confused look. "What the heck are you talking about?" Plankton asked.

"We're villains!" Professor Calamitous exclaimed. "That's why we're called the Evil Syndicate."

"You guys actually go out and call yourselves villains?" Tammy asked in disbelief.

"Well, aren't you a villain?" Vlad asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

"Of course not!" Tammy exclaimed, looking rather insulted. "Everything I've ever done, I've done for the Galactic Federation."

"Uh, didn't your Galactic Federation invade other planets or something?" Plankton asked.

Tammy scowled at Plankton. "What we did was bring peace and order to the galaxy." She shook her head. "I don't know why I need to explain this to any of you. I quit anyway."

"What!" Professor Calamitous exclaimed. "But we're so close to victory!"

"Don't really care." Tammy said as she created a portal. "Rick's probably gonna kill you guys anyway and I don't really feel like risking my life for a bunch of idiots." With that, she left.

"Should we be worried?" Crocker asked.

Professor Calamitous waved his hand dismissively. "Ah phooey! We don't need her. It's not like she helped us much anyway! It's just as I said. Victory will soon be in our reach!"

...

"Kids! Lunch is ready!" Rita shouted from the dining room. Like a herd of animals, the Loud sisters all rushed into the dining room and quickly took their seats. Scanning the table, Rita noticed a few of her children were missing. She knew that Lincoln had gone off somewhere with Rick but she didn't see Lynn or Lucy here either. "Lynn? Lucy? Lunch is ready!" She shouted again.

"Coming~" Someone sung, though no one was really sure who that voice belonged to. To everyone's shock, they then saw Lucy practically prancing into the room. She was currently wearing an all pink outfit which consisted of a Princess Pony T-shirt and a frilly pink skirt.

Everyone's jaws collectively dropped at the sight of her. They all went completely silent, apart from Lola, who could only say. "Oh my God." Lucy then took a seat next to her, who stared at her in confusion. "Uh, nice outfit...?"

Lucy let out a girlish giggle. "Pretty cute, right?" Despite looking confident though, there was a slight blush on her face as she felt a little bit embarrassed. No one seemed to notice this.

"Uhhhh..."

"Um, sweetie? Where's Junior?" Lynn Sr. asked.

"Coming..." Everyone then heard someone groan. The family found themselves in shock once again as Lynn trudged into the room, wearing a similar outfit to what Lucy usually worse, albeit her sleeves were striped red and black instead of white and black. She was also wearing red shorts with black socks and boots. She also wore some black eyeshadow and a bow in her head. Though instead of Lucy's pink, she wore a black one with a skull in the centre. Everyone was once again speechless as Lucy went over to take a seat next to Lucy.

"Uh, Lynn, are you okay?" Luan asked. "Maybe it's just me but you look a little different today."

"I simply decided to embrace the darkness within." Lynn said in an emotionless voice. "It helps deal with life's disappointments."

"Do you think this is a phase?" Lynn Sr. asked Rita.

"I don't know." Rita admitted.

"Lori, I'm scared." Leni confessed.

"Me too, Leni. Me too." Lori admitted as she went to hug Leni.

...

After they finished their lunch, both Lynn and Lucy returned to their rooms where they immediately bursted out into laughter. "Oh my gosh, that was hilarious! Did you see their faces?" Lynn cackled.

"Ha ha. Yeah." Lucy said, her voice now emotionless again.

"Honestly, that alone made trying this out worth it!" Lynn laughed. After both of them calmed down, Lynn spoke. "Well, as fun as that was, I don't think the whole goth thing is really for me."

"I understand. I don't feel like abandoning the darkness anytime soon either." Lucy admitted.

"Still, if you ever need anyone to hear any of your poems or help you with any occult stuff, you can always come to me."

Lucy smiled. "Thank you, Lynn. I really appreciate that."

...

Upon returning to Jimmy's lab, the group were surprised to see someone else there. A girl around Jimmy's age that had her blonde hair in a ponytail and was wearing a green-striped halter shirt. "Cindy, what are you doing in my lab?" An annoyed Jimmy asked.

Cindy looked equally as annoyed. "I'm here because you have once again managed to ruin the lives of everyone in Retroville."

"What makes you think I'm involved?"

"It doesn't take a genius IQ. If something this bad happens, Nerdtron's is the first place to look. I wanna know what you're going to do about this."

"Hi, Cindy." Timmy waved at her.

Cindy's whole demeanour changed as she gave Timmy a pleasant smile. "Oh. Hi, Timmy. I didn't know you were back in Retroville."

"Uh, do we really have time for this?" Rick asked.

Cindy cringed at the sight of Rick. "Ew, who's this crusty old man?"

Rick glared at her. He looked like he was about to say something before giving up and taking a sip from his flask. He was pretty done with this adventure at this point.

"Rick's right." Jimmy said. "We haven't got time for this. We need to find Professor Calamitous before he starts his Doomsday Machine."

Suddenly, Jimmy's computer turned itself on as a transmission from Calamitous appeared on it. He let out an evil laugh. "You're too late, Jimmy Neutron. All of your heroics have been for nothing. And now, the final stroke of my master plan. All the worlds in the... umm... uhh..."

"Multiverse?" Vlad asked.

"Yes. Multiverse will bow down to the Syndicate's power or be... umm... uhh..."

"Destroyed?" Plankton offered.

"Umm...yes. Destroyed. Now that the Doomsday Machine is ready, your worlds have no choice but to accept our demands. You can't stop us." The transmission then ended.

Rick smiled. "Oh sweet, we can just trace back that transmission to find them."

Jimmy blinked in surprise. "Why, yes, we could do that. Though I must admit, I am curious on how Calamitous found out about my Universal Portal Machine in the first place..."

"Don't care. Figure that out by yourself." Rick curtly replied. "This needs to end now!"

...

It didn't take long for Jimmy to trace the transmission, finding out that Calamitous' lair was underground, beneath an abandoned warehouse. The heroes would find the Syndicate in some kind of strange machine, with each member in a capsule. "This is it, Professor! We're here to stop your Doomsday Machine." Jimmy stated.

"And once we've stopped your evil plans, you villains are going to spend a very long time in jail." Spongebob added.

"It looks like you heroes won't quit. Unless we give you an, umm... demonstration of our power." Calamitous stammered.

Everyone then heard a female voice. "Universal Doomsday Machine countdown innitiated. Retroville destruction will commence in 5 minutes and counting. Have a nice day." This got everyone on edge.

"Once started, it can't be stopped, you see?" Calamitous explained. "I never got around to finishing the, umm... override switch."

Rick raised an eyebrow at Professor Calamitous. "Man, you look like the most generic evil scientist I've ever seen."

"Excuse me?!"

"Hey do you mind telling me where Tammy is? I don't see her on that weird theme park ride you guys are riding on."

Professor Calamitous' face went sour. "She quit. Unfortunately."

Rick's mouth hung open at this. "Fucking really? I go through all this shit just for her to bail?"

"Can we focus on the fact that they're about to blow up this universe?" Danny pleaded.

"Yeah, yeah, whatever you guys go deal with it." Rick said dismissively. "I'll deal with these guys."

"It won't be that easy for you." Calamitous stated. "Computer, activate the, uhh... umm... you know... Doomsday defense systems!" However, as their machine started up, the Doomsday machine suddenly shut down. "W-What?"

"What happened?" Timmy asked.

Everyone then looked over at Lincoln, who had a few plugs in his hands. "I...think I unplugged it."

Calamitous stared at Lincoln in shock. "Nooooo! I, umm..., uh... never finished the backup power supply."

"Is this seriously how it ends?!" Vlad shouted. "How incompetent are you three?"

"Hey, don't look me at me." Plankton replied. "I didn't make any of this junk."

"Jesus, what are you guys even doing?" Rick asked. "Can we just stop with the supervillain bullshit now? Clearly you're all stuck in some perpetual cycle of failure if you're resorting to shit like this. Have any of you ever considered, I don't know, talking about your issues or something?"

Plankton gave Rick a confused look. "Talk? Unless you want to talk about how I can get the Krabby Patty secret formula, I don't think you're gonna get much of a conversation."

"I mean how about we talk about how the reason you want to take over the world being a combination of insecurity over your size, mistreatment from your peers and a need for control stemming from both those issues?"

Plankton blinked in surprise. "W-Wha...?"

Rick then looked at Crocker. "Or how about how your obsession with fairies has ruined your life but you feel like you have to commit to it and eventually rule the world so you don't feel like you've wasted your entire life."

"How did you know?!" Crocker shouted. "I mean...what?"

Rick then looked at Vlad. "And you... I don't know, maybe you should just learn to respect women and not be a misogynist or something."

Vlad scowled. "Don't act like you know me! Madeline should've been mine from the start!"

"Sheesh, you really are kind of a creep." Plankton remarked.

"Oh, this coming from someone married to their computer!" Vlad shot back.

"At least she loves me!"

"Look, this is gonna go either one of two ways." Rick stated. "Either you all step out that fun ride and we talk this out or I blow it up with all of you in it."

There was a short silence before Plankton said. "Aw, heck with it. You win, Sanchez." He opened his capsule and jumped out.

"Fine. I surrender too." Crocker said as he also left his capsule.

"What are you two doing?" Calamitous shouted.

Vlad could see this was a sinking ship though he didn't exactly feel like talking things out with Rick. "As if I could stand being in your presence any longer!" Vlad shouted before phasing out of his capsule. "Goodbye, you-GAH!" He screamed as Danny sucked him into his thermos.

"Gotcha!" Danny exclaimed.

Calamitous looked around, realising that he was now completely alone. "Oh drat."

...

The group were currently back at Jimmy's lab, though Rick had stayed behind to talk with Plankton and Crocker. "With Professor Calamitous in jail and Vlad in Danny's custody, I think it's time to go our separate ways." Jimmy stated before handing everyone small devices. "But take these Neutronic Recallers with you. If anything like this happens again, we can work together to resolve it."

Spongebob sniffled. "I'm gonna miss you guys."

A portal then appeared as Rick stepped out of it. "So, how did your talk with Plankton and Crocker go?" Lincoln asked.

"Huh? ...oh yeah. Uh, yeah I think hit a breakthrough with those two." Rick replied. Lincoln then noticed that Rick's breath smelt odd and that his eyes looked slightly red.

"I was just staying that-" Jimmy started before Rick interrupted him.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah, whatever, can you send us home already?"

Jimmy sighed. "No problem."

"Bye guys!" Spongebob exclaimed, waving them off. "Hope we meet again sometime. Ooh, maybe we could go kart racing next time!"

"Yeah, whatever, just leave me out of it." Rick said as he and Lincoln stepped through Jimmy's portal.

...

Rick and Lincoln arrived back at Rick's garage. Rick turned to Lincoln. "See? No issues this time. Just a fun pointless crossover that will have no impact on our lives whatsoever. Can't complain about that, right?"

Lincoln sighed. "Well, it didn't go as badly as I thought it would but-"

"Awesome." Rick interrupted him, satisfied enough with that answer. He then got out the device that still had Walker inside of it. "Now where should I put this?"

...

Rick and Lincoln entered the living room where Lynn and Lucy were watching TV. Both were back in their regular clothes though Lucy had decided to keep wearing the pink bow. "Where have you guys been?" Lynn asked upon noticing the two.

"Some guys from other universes invited us to fight some Evil Syndicate. We beat them all, shut down a doomsday device and then one of them offered to go kart racing with us I guess." Rick summarised.

There was a short silence before Lucy spoke. "I wouldn't mind kart racing."
