"Shields!" Daina screamed and I blinked before hefting Vulcanite Fortuna in the air. A sudden impact told me I did the right thing.

I shouted as I leapt over her and kicked the spatha away from her head. She screamed as she spun, dark lines coming down her face as her sword cleaved the robot in half.

I spun instantly, a spatha slamming into where I was, its shield protecting the bot from Vulcanite Fortuna. I yanked Vulcanite Fortuna from the shield just as another bot jabbed at my arm, I leaned back, the spatha cutting some of my hair. Allowing myself to fall, I twisted and flooded my muscles with chakra.

Diana struck, her sword removing the bot's head from its shoulders. I yanked the sword out and jumped, the sword cleaving a bot's arm off as Diana's sword ripped through its chest cavity. She spun away from the other robot as I rolled to the floor. Alabaster arrived, Augustus singing as she cleaved through her second bot. The remaining three shot forward, and Alabaster and Diana met them, Diana holding her own against two of them while Alabaster landed glancing blows against the other. With a scream I shot forward, my ice sword shattering on a robot's head while my other sword severed a bot's hand from its body. Diana didn't hesitate; she flung her shield eerily similar to how Captain America does it at the iced bot, while she ducked under the one-handed bots spatha and sliced. The Iced bot raised its shield in time to block hers, while his brethren fell into a sparking two.
Alabaster side-stepped a jab and punished the bot by unarming it(hehe boi). Shield slammed into the shield as Diana sliced into his bot from behind. Alabaster frowned as my lightning-covered arm cleaved through the remaining bot's chest.

"Yes," Trivia spoke, and our eyes met for a second before she turn to Alabaster. "Well done Alabaster,"
"Come!" Discordia clapped, her arm around her daughter, and Trivia grasped Alabaster's hand."Let us celebrate!" Desperately, I looked at the only person who didn't hold a child. Julius looked at me and scoffed. "Come, Diana and Alabaster, let us celebrate your victory!"
As they left, Diana's eyes caught mine. 'Sorry' She seemed to say. 'I'm so sorry.' I looked away, tears streaming from my eyes.
'I hate them,' I seethed, my tears mixing with my blood.'I hate them so much. Why would they not accept me? Hecate and Trivia are the fucking same!'

At first, I wanted him to be accepted ya know? Get that Fatherly affection and Motherly support. Then I realized; This ain't no FUCKING GARY STU THAT GETS WHAT HE WANTS ASAP! HE HAS TO WORK FOR IT! Also realized I showed no character faults; this chapter fixes that. He gets wounded in all battles so far and wants that parental affection.
Imagine Levelling up 3 times and getting +10 levels in all your abilities and still not getting that parental affection and acknowledgement. Character getting that downtime.
