Chapter 12: Changing Velvette's Heart, Part 1

The Cognitive World, it was time to start the trickster game by stealing Velvette's heart and her treasure.

Me, Lars and Cattleya were on Velvette's roof. Then, we heard an alarm going off.

"Residents of The Velvette Mansion must stay in their rooms or in the basement at all cost!" It shouted, "Intruders are in The Velvette Mansion! I repeat, residents of The Velvette Mansion must stay in their rooms or in the basement at all cost! Intruders are in The Velvette Mansion!"

"Looks like this place has increased security!" Cattleya said, "Let's get the treasure quickly and get out of here! Joker, lead the way!"

"Right! Let's do this!" I said,

We entered the mansion. We quickly bypassed the security guards, but one ambushed us. I use my knife and gun to take it down.

"To the balcony!" I said,

We then headed to the balcony, but in the twist of events, Shadow Velvette was there.

"Hello, brats!" She said, "Looking for something?"

Shadow Velvette then showed us a smartphone made out of gold.

"Of course, her treasure is a smartphone!" Cattleya shouted, "The one thing that's making her famous and hungry for more fame!"

"Heh heh, this fame of mine has really made me loved by those around me!" Velvette said, "However, there is one person that irritate me since our breakup!"

"Vaggie?" I asked,

"Correct!"

Velvette then gasped.

"Wait! You three spied on my room?!" She shouted, "You disgusting pieces of shit!"

"Why did you dump Velvette for fame then?!" Cattleya shouted,

"Because of her attitude! If I can act like that on the internet to ruin the lives of many other demons like you three, then the fame pays off!"

"You ruined other lives, didn't you?" Lars asked, "Before our calling card on you, there were some online articles I read and some people ended their own lives from the online toxicity ruining their reputation! And they're all done by you! You exposed them for little to no reasons!"

Velvette chuckled.

"I don't give a fuck about you asshats!" She shouted, "I'm an Overlord to you lower class pieces of shit!"

A Shadowy aura flowed around Shadow Velvette.

"And you're not the boss of me! I can do whatever the fuck I want!" She continued, "And there's NOTHING YOU ALL CAN DO STOP ME!"

Shadow Velvette then started to transform under the Shadowy aura. Me and the others then backed up.

"What's going on with her?!" Lars shouted,

"She's a Shadow." Cattleya replied, "Apparently, this is her true self."

Shadow Velvette turned into some sort of puppet with the phone. They were much bigger than us and were attached by strings from above. She laughed menacingly.

"IT'S TIME FOR YOUR EMBARRASSING DOWNFALL!" She shouted,

"You're wrong! Your downfall will be from us!" I shouted, "Let's finish this, guys!"

Shadow Velvette shouted a battle cry at us.

"Haven't you brats ever been taught not to point fingers at people like us?!" She shouted, "We're the adults around here! And this adult is gonna scold your asses to your graves!"

Shadow Velvette then used her phone to shoot out lightning at us. We avoided the attack as we headed back inside the mansion.

"Yeah! Hide in there you cowards!" She shouted at us, "I'll just keep getting stronger! Ha ha ha!"

While Velvette was laughing, we decided to form a plan.

"Ok, this girl is tougher in that state!" Cattleya shouted, "So if we can take her down with our Personas, maybe we'll change her heart, take the treasure and bolt on out of here!"

"That's exactly what we're doing!" I shouted as I got prepared, "Follow my lead! Lars! Attack first!"

"I will do that!" Lars shouted,

We all head back out to fight.

"So, you three decided to fight again?!" Shadow Velvette shouted, "BRING IT ON!"

Lars attacked first.

"Mad Hatter!" He shouted as he took off his mask to summon Mad Hatter,

Mad Hatter then shoots our Agi flames at Shadow Velvette and her phone.

"GAH! MY PHONE IS OVERHEATING!" She shouted in fear,

"Now, Cattleya!" Lars shouted,

"With pleasure!" Cattleya shouted as she stretched her arms and then took off her mask to awaken Anne Bonny. "Anne Bonny!

Anne Bonny appeared as she dashed towards and skewered Shadow Velvette's phone with her swords.

"NO!" Shadow Velvette shouted, "THAT PHONE COST HUNDRED IF NOT THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!"

Cattleya then moved aside as I smirked with a gun pointed to the phone.

"Checkmate." I said as I shot Shadow Velvette's big phone.

The phone then faded into the Shadows.

"WAHHHHHH!" Shadow Velvette shouted in anger, "YOU BRATS ARE GONNA PAY BIG TIME! I NEED THAT PHONE FOR MY FAME!"

Shadow Velvette then created a big explosive sphere.

"TAKE THIS!" She shouted as she unleashed it towards me,

"JOKER!" Lars and Cattleya shouted,

As it blasted towards me, I got a vision a while ago from Igor, Caroline and Justine. I remember when I somehow used my two Personas, Arsene and Pixie to fuse them into a new Persona. Before the fusion, Arsene said these words to me.

"Although I will disappear, I shall always be by your side no matter what." He said, "Until we meet again!"

Those thoughts crossed my mind back to me. I think it's time to show everyone my evolving power in Hell!

"PERSONA!" I shouted as I took off my mask to reveal my new Persona, Agathion.

Agathion then reflected the blast back at Shadow Velvette.

"GAHHh!" She shouted in pain,

My new Persona impressed Lars and Cattleya.

"Just how much power does this guy have?" Cattleya wonder,

"I don't know." Lars replied,

"Guys!" I hollered, "I could use some extra hands finishing Velvette off!"

"We're coming, Joker!" Cattleya hollered as she turned to Lars, "Ready, Wonder?"

"Ready when you are, Pirate!" Lars replied back, "Let's do this!"

Lars and Cattleya then caught up with me as we delivered the final blow on Shadow Velvette, being an all-out attack on her.

"GAHHHH!" Shadow Velvette in pain as she was defeated.

Later, Shadow Velvette returned to her normal self as she was looking scared.

"Please…" She said to us, "I've had enough… Don't kill me!"

"Kill you?" Lars wondered as he walked forward, "Why would I do that? If I kill you right here and now, then who's gonna confess to their crimes?"

"Huh?"

"If I let you live, you're just gonna run. I, no, we won't let you run away from your crimes anymore."

"What are… What are you all trying to tell me?"

"Atone your sins." I told Shadow Velvette, "Confess to your crimes."

"Y-Yeah… I'll do that, just so I won't run away from it anymore…"

Shadow Velvette was smiling as she disappeared into the light. Cattleya then picked up her treasure, which was a golden phone.

"Gee, wonder how much this will cost." She wonder,

Then, the palace was shaking as if an earthquake was happening.

"Woah! What's going on?!" Lars shouted,

"The palace!" Cattleya shouted in response, "It's gonna crumble apart!"

"Let's get out of here!" I shouted,
