Chapter 21: Changing Valentino's Heart, Part 1

I was with my allies again as we were next to a wall of calling cards sent out to Valentino.

"Wow, we're doing pretty good." Cattleya said, "Thanks for the support, Willow."

"We really needed it." I said,

"It's nothing you guys." Willow said, "So, we got these calling cards out to Valentino, what's next?"

"Now, we just gotta steal Valentino's heart." Cattleya replied, "He had his reaction and now we gotta infiltrate the palace in style!"

"Today?"

"Today."

"Well, I guess we're ready, right?"

"Let's start the trickster game." I said, "To Valentino's Palace!"

In the Cognitive World, we infiltrated Shadow Valentino's Palace. The alarms went off as security guards made the hotel go into lockdown. We were running on the rooftops to get to a hotel room and stayed there until the guards didn't pay attention to us. We struck them behind as we headed downstairs to the 1st floor where the private VIP room is for the treasure. We saw two guards guarding the room. We ambushed them and took them down.

"Alright, time to get the treasure and get out!" I shouted,

We headed inside the private VIP room and saw a note next to a stripper's pole in the center of the room.

"What the?! Where's the treasure?!" Cattleya shouted,

"There's a note…" Willow said as she walked over to it and read it. "Meet me at the outdoor pool outside of my hotel. I'll be waiting."

"Valentino!" Lars shouted, "He knows we're after his ass!"

"Let's head to the outback pool!" I shouted,

We headed out back where the pool was at and saw Shadow Valentino behind the pool with his arms behind his back.

"I know damn well you four would be here to try and stop me~" He said, "And to steal this!"

Shadow Valentino then showed us his usual outfit in the real world, but made out of gold.

"Oh! Your pimpy ass outfit is the treasure here!" Lars shouted,

"Correct!' Shadow Valentino said, "This represents my peak as not only a pimp, but also an Overlord. I'm hoping that one day Voxxy will have me take over as not only the best Overlord of our trio, but also the best Overlord of Pride!"

"Oh yeah, your boyfriend Vox, huge pain in the ass on his little talk show!" Willow said,

"Don't talk shit about my boyfriend!"

"Then why are you shitting on your employees behind his back?!" Lars shouted, "They didn't do anything to piss you off!"

Shadow Valentino chuckled menacingly.

"Ever since me and Vox got together and became Overlords, I offered him a fun little time at one point." He replied,

"Was it sex?" I asked,

"Damn straight, boy! It was phenomenal! Then, when I created and founded Porn Studios, I knew that this little addiction of mine wouldn't go away! So in order for my employees to obey me like the master I am to my slaves, I can sexually harass them to death, whether they want to or not!"

"You disgusting piece of shit!" Lars shouted, "One of them killed themselves because of you!"

"So? I just enjoy seeing them suffer under my amusement~"

"Now no wonder why people praise you. You hid behind not only Vox's back, but also anyone who praised Overlords like you as if they worshiped a God…" Willow said, "And those private vacations… Yeah, that explains why you debunk all of the controversies!"

Shadow Valentino looked at Willow with disgust.

"You…" He said, "You're trying to ruin my image with all of these lies my employees tell you."

"They weren't lying, asshat!" Lars shouted,

"Yeah!" Willow shouted, "They told me everything that's the truth about you! You're just using them as toys whenever we're not looking! But now, it won't happen to anyone anymore!"

Shadow Valentino then let one of his guards take care of his golden outfit. A shadowy aura flowed around him all of a sudden. He laughed menacingly.

"You've all been very naughty under my radar!" He shouted, "It's time… FOR YOUR PUNISHMENT!"

Shadow Valentino then dived into the pool, back first. We were surprised that it happened. Then, the pool shook as the shadowy aura grew stronger. Something big grew out of it. It was Shadow Valentino's true form! He was a giant bug monster! He then screeched at us.

"COME ON IN!" He shouted, "THE WATER'S FINE FOR YOU ALL TO DROWN!"

We all got positioned.

"The only thing drowning is your career!" Willow shouted, "Bring it on!"

Willow then took off her mask to summon her Persona.

"Neith!" She shouted,

Neith then shot out Zio lightning at Shadow Valentino. It was his weakness! He screeched in pain.

"YOU LITTLE BRATS!" He shouted,

He then shot out gunk at us.

"BE GOOD LITTLE BOYS AND GIRLS AND DIE!" He shouted at us,

Cattleya then took off her mask to awaken her Persona.

"Anne Bonny!" She shouted,

Anne Bonny appeared to slash Shadow Valentino, but Shadow Valentino avoided the attack by going into the water.

"What the?!" Cattleya shouted, "I guess he avoids Physical attacks!"

"That makes sense when he abuses his employees, he avoided the drama that's being spilled out of!" Willow shouted,

"But I'm gonna make sure he won't avoid them!" Lars shouted,

Lars then took off his mask to summon his Persona.

"Mad Hatter!" He shouted,

Mad Hatter then shot out Agilao flames at the pool, heating it up.

"Woah! You're a genius!" Willow shouted,

"No time for compliments!" Lars shouted, "Here he comes!"

Shadow Valentino then got out of the water and was floating in the air.

"HOT!" He shouted in pain, "HOT! HOT! TOO HOT!"

Me and Willow took off our masks to summon our Personas.

"Neith!" She shouted,

"Shiisaa!" I shouted,

Neith and Shiisaa appeared to zap Zio lightning at Shadow Valentino. He screeched in pain. He then dived back into the water to create a wave of water that washed us away.

"Everyone alright?!" I shouted,

"What's he doing now?!" Lars shouted,

Shadow Valentino then flew out of the pool as he was seen with moth wings.

"Oh this fucker is flying now, huh?!" Willow shouted,

Shadow Valentino then landed on the ground and screeched at us. He cackled menacingly.

"I ALWAYS HAVE A FEW TRICKS UP MY SLEEVES!" He shouted, "INCLUDING… This one~"

The waters from the pool then splashed on the ground next to Shadow Valentino as we all saw Angel Dust in his underwear with chains on his wrists. He had grenades and assault rifles in his hands.

"Sir, I got you your weapons just like you ask~" Angel Dust said, seductively.

"Good boy, Angel~" Shadow Valentino said as he was gifted with assault rifles and grenades.

"A-Angel Dust?!" Willow shouted,

"That's not him!" Cattleya shouted, "That's a Cognitive form of him created by Valentino's desires!"

"I see, so raping him was only worth it for his Cognitive form to help out!"

I stepped up.

"Let's take it down!" I said, "Maybe it won't have any effects on the real Angel Dust!"

"Good idea!" Cattleya said, "Let's do this!"

Cattleya then took off her mask.

"Anne Bonny!" She shouted as she awakened her Persona,

Anne Bonny then slashed the Cognitive Angel Dust to the shadows.

"Got it!" Cattleya shouted,

Shadow Valentino grew enraged.

"That damn cunt didn't do anything to defend himself!" He shouted, "I'll just have to teach him a lesson later. For now!"

Shadow Valentino then ready his guns and grenade.

"EAT THIS, BRATS!" He shouted,

Shadow Valentino then fired his assault rifles at us. We all dodged his firing.

"HEADS UP!" He shouted as he swallowed the grenade, chewed it, and then spit it out into a giant bomb.

The giant bomb then exploded. We all took damage, but we're still in it.

"There's gotta be a way to take this fucker down!" Lars shouted,

I looked at Shadow Valentino as he was licking his lips. Disgusting. Wait… His wings… He's flying now… Maybe if we can shoot his wings, we'll get an advantage."

"Let's shoot his wings!" I said, "That way, we'll deliver the final blow!"

"Good idea!" Lars shouted as he got out his revolver,

"Probably worth it after he tried to shoot us down!" Cattleya shouted as she got out her hunting rifle.

"That will teach him to play with weapons like that!" Willow shouted as she got out her hand cannon, "And this will be for abusing his employees!"

Shadow Valentino laughed menacingly as he started an attack up.

"TIME FOR YOU ALL TO DIE!" He shouted, "HERE I COME!"

We then started firing back at Shadow Valentino.

"GAH! WHAT ARE YOU BRATS DOING?!" He shouted,

"EAT THIS!" Cattleya shouted as she fired at his wings.

"NO! MY WINGS! NOT MY PRECIOUS WINGS!"

We shot his wings as Shadow Valentino then lost his ability to fly. He then dropped to the ground. We surrounded him and pointed our guns at him.

"Y-YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT IT TAKES TO GET TO THE TOP AS AN OVERLORD!" He shouted, "I HAVE EVERYTHING I NEED! MY DESIRES ARE WHAT KEEPS ME GOING! YOU BRATS THINK YOU CAN JUST TAKE THEM AWAY?!"

"We can! You won't be needing your desires anymore!" Cattleya shouted,

"That's right!" Willow shouted, "We're The Phantom Thieves"

"Now who's the one being the punching bag?" Lars shouted, "Here we come!"

"Ravage him!" I shouted, "Let's end this game!"

We performed an all-out attack on Shadow Valentino to deliver the final blow on him. Shadow Valentino screeches in pain as he squirmed all over. He was then defeated as he couldn't move anymore.
