Chapter 28: Vox's Palace
We entered the Cognitive World Of Hell as we saw that Vox Videos is now Vox's Palace, a factory to be exact. There was smoke coming out of the pipes and the parking lot was rather empty.
"Out of all the palaces, this one makes no sense at first glance." Lars said, "But hopefully when we get inside, we can see what it's all about."
Willow gave out a disgusted face.
"The smoke is really terrible here…" She said,
"Yeah, it is strong." Cattleya said,
"Shit, you're right, Willow." Lars said as he and Willow covered their noses and mouths, "No wonder why factories do that."
"Get used to it you two! Sure it smells bad, but we can't lose our focus. We're going in there and see what Overlord Vox's desires are about!"
While we went to the factory's rooftop, Boris saw us, but we didn't see him.
"The fuck is this?! A factory?!" Boris shouted, "Where's Vox Videos at?! And what are these four doing?! Going to the rooftop?!"
Boris then walked towards the entrance.
"Fuck it, I'm taking the front door." He said,
He then saw yellow tape that said, "Do Not Disturb" on them, repeatedly.
"Do Not Disturb." He read,
Boris chuckled.
"Fuck that!" He shouted, "I'm gonna go see Vox and see if he's responsible!"
Inside Vox's Palace, we went through a vent to reach the ceilings above. We looked down to see what Vox's Palace was all about.
"Well now…" Cattleya said,
We saw robots running around the place.
"Robots do run this factory." I said,
"So that's what he means by calling us A.I." Lars said,
"But what else does this palace have?" Willow wondered, "He should have a history with his workers in Vox Videos, right?"
"Maybe he does just like how Valentino has a history with his employees…" Cattleya said, "Let's keep searching."
We quietly went through the guards, who are also robots. We then saw the workers inside, which somehow aren't robots.
"Wh-What the hell's going on here?!" Lars shouted,
"Are they… Dead?!" Cattleya shouted,
"So… Does he also treat his workers like shit?" Willow said,
"But unlike Valentino, Vox either overworked them or killed them and let their corpses become automatic!"
"Or both."
"This guy is sick in the head like his now jailed boyfriend!" Lars shouted,
Lars sighed.
"But Valentino's still worse." He said,
We searched around more until we came across a room that said, "Employees only" on the sign.
"There should be something in there." Cattleya said,
I opened the door, only to see none other than Boris on the floor, with his arms chained to the floor!
"Boris?!" Lars shouted as he, Willow and Cattleya were shocked,
