When Ren Amamiya was killed by Goro Akechi after selling out his friends and members of The Phantom Thieves Of Hearts, Ren was somehow taken to Hell instead of the Velvet Room. He even heard that a hotel is looking to make changes here, but he wants to change Hell his way. So, he decided to start over and try to start another team of Phantom Thieves here. How will it work?

37. Chapter 36

Chapter 36: Changing Vox's Heart, Part 1

Later, we were outside of The Hazbin Hotel as calling cards sent out to Vox were displayed on a wall.

"Are you guys sure this hotel is also good for me to set the calling cards up?" Boris wonder,

"We're sure." Willow replied, "After all, Alastor is rivals with Vox."

"You did nice with the new logo, Selene." Lars said,

"Appreciate it." Selene said as she looked around, "So… Now what?"

"Now, we go into Vox's Palace and steal his desires." Cattleya replied,

"Right now?"

"Right now! Come on!"

While we left the area, Charlie saw us through a window with one of the calling cards in her hands.

"It really is them!" She said as she read the calling card, "I knew something was fishy about Rena He really is the leader of The Phantom Thieves back on Earth and down here in Hell!"

Alastor was reading the calling card.

"To think Vox would get a calling card from The Phantom Thieves, but it turned out to be Ren and his friends…" He said, "I only imagine the results to be just like with Velvette and Valentino…"

In The Cognitive World Of Hell, me and my team were infiltrating Vox's Palace. The place was on lockdown and the security was serious.

"Alright, last Overlord!" Cattleya said, "Let's do this!"

We went through the ceilings as security almost caught us. We kept going until we got to the meeting room. There, the chairs and tables were all put away as we saw a presentation.

"Huh?" Willow wondered, "Is this guy presenting us with something?"

A slide was changed to another slide. It said, "YOU'RE FUCKED."

"You're fucked?" Lars said, "What the fuck is he talking about? Where's the treasure at?!"

A mechanical claw came down and scooped the presentation away. Shadow Vox then appeared outside from a backroom of the meeting room.

"So… You brats finally came." He said, "I appreciate the welcome here to my factory, but unfortunately for you, this factory is for employees only."

"The only employee that's destined to live pathetically like this is you, Vox!" Selene shouted,

"Why would you take away lives that we're close to?!" Boris shouted, "Just how many grudges do you even hold?!"

"The only grudges I hold are those that never looked up to me!" Shadow Vox replied, "These boring sinners only care about themselves, so I decided to take down those that think they can just buy my products and never care about myself!"

"You lazily make up excuses now, huh?" Willow said, "You almost killed Lars' mother for no reason and out of your own boredom!"

"Yeah! You think turning these kills into accidents is gonna solve any problems?! You think getting away with murder will still keep your jobs as Overlord and CEO?!" Lars shouted,

"And let's not forget the overworked employees!" Boris said, "You're treating them like robots! Hell, you're even rolling on their graves without people knowing!"

"You lazily use your power to keep quiet on all of these issues!" Selene said, "Just how much more pathetic can you possibly be?!"

Shadow Vox chuckled.

"Yes, I view this world as artificial intelligence." He said, "The world I can generate and control in the palm of my hand. It's like the future is advancing for my amusement!"

"Yeah, well if that happens, then we're the ones gonna be losing our jobs!" Willow said,

Shadow Vox laughed a bit.

"Fools!" He shouted, "As long as I control the artificial intelligence in my will, I'm the only living sinner with a job in my hands!"

A dark aura started to swirl around Shadow Vox.

"And I won't be like any sinner around here!" He shouted, "No no no! I will be a GOD!"

The darkness then formed a puddle. It then took Shadow Vox down as he was laughing menacingly. Then, the puddle grew bigger as darkness blazed from it. One giant hand started to come out of the puddle. Another giant hand came out as well. Then, a giant TV screen slowly came out, until the two giant hands started to drag it back up. It was Shadow Vox's true form! He laughed more menacingly than ever!

"TIME TO CANCEL YOU ALL TO YOUR GRAVES!" He shouted,

Boris and Selene stepped forward.

"The only one that's canceling is us!" Boris said,

"And we're gonna make sure that your reign of terror will come to an end!" Selene shouted,

Selene then took off her mask and rode on her Persona, Evaki.

"Evaki!" She shouted, "Let's take to the skies!"

Selene then flew in the air and rained down Garula wind magic at Shadow Vox. It didn't do anything.

"Is that all you got?!" Shadow Vox shouted, "Take this!"

Shadow Vox used his two hands to blast his electric powers at Selene and Evaki, but the two dodged.

"Those lightning bolts are strong!" Cattleya shouted,

"Hey! Let's get him while he's distracted!" Boris shouted,

"Oh! With pleasure!"

Cattleya summoned her Persona.

"Anne Bonny!" She shouted,

Anne Bonny then slashed Shadow Vox with its swords, but was blocked by a barrier and fired back at Cattleya. Cattleya flew back.

"What the hell?!" Cattleya shouted, "Is he immune to Physical attacks?!"

"Seems likely." Lars said as he pulled out his revolver, "Let me try shooting him!"

Lars fired at Shadow Vox, hurting him a bit.

"AGH!" He shouted in pain,

"There!" Lars shouted, "Get him now, Selene!"

Selene then used Evaki to fire down Zionga lightning at Shadow Vox, but Shadow Vox used his right hand to take the hit. The right hand was then destroyed.

"NO! MY RIGHT HAND!" He shouted, "I DIDN'T MEAN TO DO THAT!"

"Now for the left hand!" Boris shouted as he summoned his Persona, "Ullr!"

Ullr appeared and shot out Bufula ice magic at the left hand of Shadow Vox, destroying it.

"MY OTHER HAND!" He shouted,

Me, Lars, Boris and Selene came out and aimed our weapons at him. Boris had a bow and arrow while Selene had an SMG.

"YOU BRATS THINK THAT'S IT FOR ME?!" Shadow Vox shouted, "JUST WAIT! I GOT MORE TRICKS UP MY SLEEVES!"

"It seems you weren't programmed to have sleeves in your true form!" Lars said,

"Time to show what it's like using your powers to kill people for fun!" Boris shouted,

"Here we come!" Selene shouted,

We performed an all-out attack on Shadow Vox. Shadow Vox was weakened a bit, but he didn't give up. He laughed menacingly as he started to use his electrical powers to regrow his two large hands.

"He grew his hands back?!" Willow shouted,

Then, he used his hands to create something. It seemed like a powerful explosion made out of electricity.

"Everyone, take cover!" Willow shouted as she got out her Persona, "Neith! Protect us!"

Willow then created a barrier, but something else came in to destroy it.

"Huh?!" She shouted, "What now?!"

Something automatically generated appeared next to Shadow Vox. It looked like us as a fusion.

"What the fuck is that?!" Lars shouted,

"I used the power of AI to generate myself a Phantom Thief after looking at you all real well!" Shadow Vox replied,

"Oh, I see now!" Selene said, "You're stealing our looks to create something for yourself! You're stealing our art!"

"Talk about scummy behavior as well!" Boris said,

"No time to talk!" Cattleya shouted, "Here comes a powerful attack! Brace yourselves!"

Shadow Vox then used his powers to create an electrical explosive. Everyone blocked and were still standing.

"Oh? Still standing?" Shadow Vox said, "Fine! Go my Phantom Thief! Kill them!"

Shadow Vox's Phantom Thief then took off its mask to create an automatically generated Persona of our Personas as one. It shot out Maeiga curse magic at us. I deflected it back at it with my White Rider Persona.

"Too slow!" I shouted,

The AI generated Phantom Thief then took the hit and was defeated.

"OH COME ON! THAT WAS PERFECT FOR ME TO TAKE YOU ALL DOWN!" Shadow Vox shouted, "FINE! TAKE THIS!"

Shadow Vox was about to create another electrical explosive, but I shot one of his hands with my gun.

"OWW!" Shadow Vox shouted,

"Joker!" Cattleya said, "We got our plan! Everyone, fire away!"

We all continue to fire out guns and bow at Shadow Vox and his hands. He was surprisingly weak to them.

"GAHHH!" He shouted in pain, "STOOOOOP!"

"Now!" Lars shouted as he summoned Mad Hatter, "Mad Hatter!"

Mad Hatter shot out Agilao flames at Shadow Vox.

"Neith!" Willow shouted,

Neith appeared to shoot out Zionga lightning at Shadow Vox.

"Ullr!" Boris shouted,

Ullr appeared to shoot out Bufula ice at Shadow Vox.

"STOP! STOP THIS NOW!" Shadow Vox shouted,

"Evaki!" Selene shouted,

Evaki appeared to shoot out Garula wind at Shadow Vox. Cattleya kept firing at Shadow Vox's hands, destroying them. She went back to me.

"He's immune to Physical attacks, but I got his hands with my hunting rifle! Now, it's all up to you, Joker!" Cattleya shouted, "Finish him!"

"On it!" I shouted,

I took off my mask to summon another Persona.

"Thunderbird!" I shouted,

Thunderbird appeared and shot out Ziodyne lightning at Shadow Vox.

"GAHHHHHH!" He shouted in pain,

When the attack stopped, Shadow Vox started glitching up as he exploded to a smoky mess. Shadow Vox was defeated.
