Chapter 47: Astrid's Palace, Part 2
We got into our Phantom Thief outfits as we were halfway towards the entrance of Astrid's palace.
"Alright y'all, we got a heart to steal!" Cattleya said, "And unfortunately, it's gonna be hard since it's a best friend of mine!"
"We'll change her heart so that she won't expose us anymore!" Lars said, "That's a promise!"
When we arrived, a pirate imp stopped us.
"Ahoy, landlubbers!" He said to us, "In order to access Astrid's Puzzling Pirate Ship, you must have the password to access it!"
"Password?" Boris said, "Look, pal, this isn't a game we're–"
"--But it will be a game when you enter the ship!"
"Oh great, looks like we need a password to enter!" Lars said,
"A password…" Cattleya wondered as she thinked for a moment, "What kind of passwords would Astrid put in?"
Cattleya then thought of something.
"I think I know something. Usually, when she puts in her passwords, it's sorta similar to her username, but with different letters." Cattleya said,
"So when it's something like ByteSmyte66, the password would have I's instead of Y's?" Selene wondered,
"Correct! Let's try that!"
Cattleya turned to the imp pirate who was still guarding the entrance.
"We have the password." She said to him,
"And that may be?" He wondered,
"ByteSmyte66."
"Spell it out, lassie!"
"Uhhh… B-I-T-E-S-M-I-T-E-6-6?"
Silence as the pirate gave out a serious look.
"...Access denied. Try again."
"What?! I thought I got it!"
"Hold on, let me spell it." Willow said as she tapped on the pirate, "We have the password."
"And that may be?" The imp pirate wondered,
"ByteSmyte66. B-I-T-E-S-M-I-T-E-S-I-X-T-Y-S-I-X."
Silence as the pirate and Willow gave out serious looks.
"...Access granted! Come on in!"
The imp pirate walked away from the entrance and invited us in.
"Thanks, Arachnid!" Cattleya said, "I forgot that I have to spell out the numbers as well!"
"Don't mention it, Pirate!" Willow said, "Come on, let's go inside the ship!"
We went inside the ship. Inside, we saw that the room was an obstacle course.
"What the hell is this? An obstacle course?" Lars said,
"Yar har har!" A familiar Feminine voice shouted,
We turned to the center of the obstacle course as it was Astrid in a pirate costume with yellow eyes. It turned out to be Astrid's Shadow.
"Astrid!" Cattleya shouted, "Or should I call you, Astrid's Shadow!"
"Ahoy Phantom Thieves!" Shadow Astrid said, "Welcome to my Puzzling Pirate Ship!"
"Your Puzzling Pirate Ship, huh?" Lars said,
"What's so puzzling about it?" Selene wondered,
"Hrgh… You want to know the details, huh?" Shadow Astrid wondered, "Fine!"
The platforms started to spin as a rope came out in the center and Shadow Astrid climbed on it.
"Try and jump over these platforms while they spin!" She said, "If you fail to jump onto one, then you'll fall into me dungeons where me Shadows live and groan over my power!"
"So Shadows live down here instead of roaming up here on your obstacle course?" Cattleya wondered,
"Correct! Now, here's the fun part! Once you all complete this obstacle course, there's a treasure chest with something special in it!"
"Ooh, a treasure chest, huh? Does it have the main treasure that we're searching for?"
"You'll have to wait and see!"
Shadow Astrid then climbed above a hole where the rope came from while laughing. We looked at the spinning platforms.
"Well, this is gonna be one helluva ship we're about to go through." Boris said,
