After the victims were taken to SilverStone memorial, Shadow and the others were in separate vehicles and searching around the city for the hiding places Big Geno has.
"Nothing here so far." Shadow looked around on a rooftop. While he was looking, Spinelli wasn't doing much except leaning on a wall with her arms crossed.
"Ugh! Arnold, can we go home now? My feet are aching!" She complained.
"In a minute! And besides, we haven't been out here too long." Arnold replied while scouting around the area.
She scoffed as she walked behind him. She then snaked her arms around him. "Tell you what. Let's get our asses back home and I'll let you fool around with my panties." She purred.
Arnold blushed and looked at her. "Ashley Spinelli, if you think a bribe from you is gonna work…" He paused. "… How 'bout I smell 'em before we have a fourth child?" Arnold turned and smirked at her.
"Now we're talkin' the same language." Spinelli started to giggle and purr.
Their faces soon got close to one another and they started nibbling at each other's lips, but soon, the police radio scanner went off.
"All units, requesting officer backup to SilverStone Memorial Hospital. Unknown active shooter in the area. Requesting all available units. Gunshots reported, be advised, proceed with caution."
"Impulse, you hear that, bud? Code silver, get the others to meet us there!" Shadow went on his earpiece.
"Already ahead of you, Sir." Impulse replied.
Later
The Stealth Cycle and Hybrid soon pulled to a stop outside SilverStone Memorial, where police cars, SWAT vans, and more trucks arrived along with ambulances to transport patients to other hospitals.
The Hyperjet and QR Jet were already there. The PRT truck was already parked with other ambulances.
"Still feel like going home?" Arnold looked at his wife, Spinelli only shook her head.
"You know, I feel like crushing the shooter's skull!" She smashed her fists together.
"Let's see who gets to him first." Arnold smirked. "Just don't get yourself killed."
"We faced worse, how could I?" She replied.
Soon, they walked over to where most of the others were, the PRT.
"Alright guys, what do we have?"
Gunshots weren't reported until an intern was found dead with a bullet hole to the head, and she bled out which led to the hospital being alerted. Our best guess is that the shooter has a silencer on his weapon." Ariel started. "We don't know the whereabouts of the shooter so it looks like you guys are going in blindly. We don't know whether he has one weapon or more so there's that."
Shadow cleared his throat. "Alright, looks like we have a dangerous assignment- Wait where's Sapphire?" He noticed she wasn't with them.
She soon flew over to them after being at the back of the hospital.
"Guys! You're not gonna believe what I found!" She said.
"What is it?"
"I- I found a van full of weapons, I looked around the area but I couldn't find any identification."
"Alright, you all know your assignments, and I don't want my best medical hands in the crosshairs." Shadow looked at Warren, Ariel, and Travis. They nodded.
"Amelia, you with us, or do you want to stay out here?" Arnold asked. Amelia hesitated to answer. But she made up her mind.
"I'll be with you, Dad." She soon replied.
"Alright, we're in groups of two. Trickshot and Nadine, Amelia and Star Sapphire, and Spinelli and I. Everyone clear?"
"You got it." Gerald twirled his handgun several times.
"I'll make sure Amelia doesn't get in any trouble." Sapphire smirked. "Shut up…" Amelia crossed her arms.
"Let's move." Trickshot soon went off with Nadine and Amelia with Sapphire.
"No better than now." Spinelli soon ran off. Shadow only sighed and followed behind her.
After they were inside, SWAT teams followed behind with their rifles.
"I want constant radio contact with everyone." Shadow went on his earpiece briefly as sirens were heard wailing in the distance.
Amelia and Sapphire saw blood splattered against a wall while several corpses were lying on the floor.
"Oh, God…" Amelia grimaced while looking around. "What's next? The lights going out?" She asked.
"Don't worry, you have me." Sapphire replied while looking around the mess.
"Phoebe, you read?" Amelia tried going on her earpiece, but no response. "Crap!…"
A gunshot was heard. Sapphire stopped the two of them. They merely peered around a corner.
"Execute this sack of crap. He's of no use to us." A Russian-like accent was heard.
"Think that's 'Big Geno'?" Amelia asked. "He'll be squashed like a bug soon enough." Sapphire replied.
Shadow and Scarlet were walking around cautiously when they found a bunch of blood across the floor.
"What in the actual fuck?…" Scarlet questioned. They grimaced.
"The sooner we find the shooter, the better 'cause this is just insane."
"Dad, I think we found the shooter, but he's not alone, there might be more!" Amelia whispered through her earpiece.
"Be careful, honey."
"MMPHM! MM- MPF!" A guy was wrapped in webbing and was whacked with a handgun across his face.
"That oughta shut his ass up." Gerald put away his handgun. "Who would've thought that spider trap would actually work?" Nadine couldn't help but smirk.
Footsteps were heard.
"I got this." Nadine then pulled out a robotic tarantula from her pocket. "Go on, boy!" She set it on the ground and it started crawling out of the room.
"You do know it's not exactly an organism, right?" Gerald smirked. "Shut up." Nadine lowered her eyelids.
A loud scream was heard while on the other hand…
CRASH
Spinelli dusted off her hands after smashing a guy through a wall…
"Remind me to buy the heaviest dumbbells on earth and see how many reps you get in." Arnold smirked at her.
"Afraid I'm stronger than you? Afraid I'm the man of the relationship?" She smirked back while leaning close to his face.
Arnold snickered and shoved her face away while he started walking. "We should see who wins in a weightlifting match." Arnold then stopped as he peered around a corner.
He immediately crouched, and so did Scarlet. "Watch this." Shadow smirked as a small device formed from his repulsor glove.
It was the disruptor. Used to jam enemy weapons and when fired twice at a single weapon, it causes them to explode. Also used for other devices like detective mode jammers or make floor mines explode and disable Militia medic equipment.
Shadow lined up his shot from the corner and fired a bullet at the rifle. He soon walked out of the corner.
"Looking for me?"
The thug tried to fire his weapon, but nothing happened.
"C'mon! Fire, damn you!" He started to frantically pull the trigger.
"Allow me to introduce you to someone." Shadow stepped aside so Scarlet got a clear look.
"Say hi to your parents for me, fuckwad!" Scarlet jumped at the thug with her fist closed and ready to smash it against his face.
Soon, a body dropped unconsciously with blood dripping from his face.
"You should've thought twice before messing with the daughter of Shadow and S-Claw." Sapphire smirked.
Amelia (Silver Shadow) had her katana at Geno's throat. Sapphire and her took care of business with the goons easily.
"Unlike my parents, I'm more of a trained assassin than them. So tell me, what will it be? A slit throat? Your head cut off? Your fingers, or your tongue? The list just goes on and on about the many ways we can get you to talk."
"I- I suffered w- worst tha- than this! Your father broke my ribs and snapped my arm in two! And your mother broke my arm in half and broke my kneecap! You don't think it makes me beg for death?!" He shouted.
"I said torture, not death, imbecile." Amelia frowned and tightened her grip.
"OW!" Amelia dropped her blade and grabbed her nose. Geno had hit her nose with his head, needing to find a way to get free.
He immediately reached for his rifle and ran off.
"Goddammit!" Amelia tried to let go but her nose was bleeding now.
More gunshots were heard firing.
Shadow and Scarlet were at a stairwell. Three goons with rifles were firing away and not paying attention to what was awaiting below…
"Now!" Three hooks fired from their gloves and clenched their clothes. Shadow and Scarlet immediately tugged on the ropes, yanking the three goons, and made them let go of the weapons.
They were yanked off the floor and came crashing against the stairs. They were knocked out immediately by the fall.
One of them cracked his skull against the stairs.
"He'll live." Spinelli shrugged. "Now come on! We probably have more of these pricks to deal with!"
She may be wrong.
"Soon as I find those pricks who constantly ruin my plans I'll put a bullet between their eyes and watch them slowly bleed out!" Big Geno was clenching his rifle.
CRASH
SPLAT
One of his goons crashed through the ceiling with blood smeared on his face. His face was partially swollen and had multiple bruises on his face.
"AH!" He flinched.
"Warren, I'm fine! It's just a minor bleed from my nose!" Amelia tried to convince him. "Mhm. Yeah, ok." He said.
He was running a scan on her nose with one of the state-of-the-art devices from the Physician Response Team truck.
"Alright, well, it looks like there's no fracture thankfully. But you'll need to ice it."
"That can wait, I have to get back in there!" She pleaded. "Not ao fast, young lady." He held an ice pack. She only rolled her eyes and took the ice pack.
"WHAT THE!?" Big Geno had his weapon snatched from the ceiling. He couldn't see who or what snatched it.
He immediately pulled out a pistol. He was now wandering the halls with a terrified expression. He looked around, now hoping he didn't find his hated enemies which always handed him his ass.
Lights started to flicker, turning on and off, and soon, a shadow was seen in the distance.
Geno immediately held up his pistol while his hands were shaking.
Soon, another shadow was seen, only it crept up to him. He slowly turned around while terrified.
"Night night, asswipe." A fist soon smashed against his face.
