Chapter 64: A Greedy Deal
Arthur was in an alleyway as he got out his book and flip through pages.
"Take me to Greed!" He said,
A portal to Greed appeared.
"Alright, here I go." He said,
Without noticing, we saw Arthur going into the portal.
"Quickly!" Cattleya said, "Before it closes!"
We went through the portal as well without Arthur realizing we're here.
We then ended up in Greed again as Arthur was halfway through Crimson's mansion.
"We gotta stop him before anything bad goes down!" Astrid shouted,
"Come on, let's go through that window!" Willow said as she pointed to a window,
To the front door, Arthur looked at two of Crimson's goons.
"Where's Crimson Knowlastname at?" Arthur asked them, "I want to see him."
"You want to see the boss, huh?" One of the goons said, "Alright, come on in, Goetia boy."
Inside through the window, me and Cattleya made it through the window until one of the goons saw us.
"Oi! We got some intruders!" He shouted,
"Shit!" Cattleya shouted as she turned to the others, "Boris, Lars, come in with us! You three ladies hide!"
"Right!" Selene said, "Follow me, girls!"
Boris and Lars went through the window while Willow, Selene and Astrid ran away and hid.
Some of the goons tried to attack us with weapons, but Boris and Lars then kicked them in their jaws and knocked them out. Cattleya saw another coming at her from behind and kicked him in the nuts. I punched another in the guts and leg sweeped them down. We ran to where Arthur would be at, Crimson's room. Arthur was then met face-to-face with Crimson Knowlastname, Moxxie's father and a Mafia boss.
"Well, what do we got here?" Crimson said, "Some Goetia wanting to see me?"
"Indeed." Arthur replied as he pulled out a brass knuckle and puts it on and quickly punches the goons behind him in their faces,
"What the fuck?!"
Arthur looked at Crimson and then stole a gun from one of the goons and pointed at him.
"You're dead!" He shouted, "Tell me where those abused Imps are!"
"Oh, ya wanna see some of my goons?" Crimson wondered,
"Yeah! Tell me now or I'll pull the trigger!"
Then, we showed up.
"Arthur!" Cattleya shouted,
"Huh?!" Arthur shouted as he turned around and saw us.
Crimson snapped his fingers as his best goon, Alessio, appeared next to him and quickly grabbed and pinned Arthur down. He retrieved the gun stolen from a knocked out goon.
"Hey! Let me go!" Arthur shouted,
More goons appeared behind us and grabbed our arms from behind.
"Woah! How many more of you fuckers are there?!" Cattleya shouted,
"You brats sure as hell have caused a lot of damage here all of a sudden…" Crimson said as he got up and walked to Arthur,
Arthur looked at Crimson who smiled menacingly at him.
"I know ya with my son." He said, "Moxxie…"
Arthur gulped.
"He doesn't deserve a horrible father like you!" He said,
Crimson then slapped Arthur in his face.
"Oh!" Arthur shouted in pain,
"Shut your mouth, brat!" Crimson shouted,
Arthur gulped in fear.
"I'll give ya and ya friends a deal." Crimson said, "Until September 21st, you all better pay up a lot of money and we'll leave you all alone. If ya don't, then you guys and Moxxie will be experiencing the worst to come."
We were all frozen with fear.
"Now, kick them out!" Crimson said, "And have my fellow imps clean up the mess."
We were then thrown out of Crimson's mansion and onto the streets.
"Damn it…" Arthur said, emotional, "What have I done?"
"Yeah, you fucked up big time." Boris said,
"I did… I put all of us in this situation…"
"Here, let's talk back on Pride." Cattleya said, "You still have your book, yeah?"
"I do, surprisingly."
"Hey! Wait up!" Selene hollered,
We saw Willow, Selene and Astrid running up to us.
"Oh, I didn't know all of you were here…" Arthur said,
"Hurry and take us back to Pride!" Selene said,
"One of them found us!" Astrid said,
"Alright, alright, I'm creating the portal!" Arthur said,
Later, we were back at Pride as Arthur was sitting on the ground and curled up into a ball. He looked like he was about to cry.
"You guys…" He said, softly, "I'm sorry, I…"
"Hey, I'm sorry too." Cattleya said as she comforted him, "I shouldn't have made you snap by calling you useless."
"I just wanted to prove my point that I'm not useless… I wasn't expecting a complete 180 when Crimson got to me… Now we got until September 21st to pay him up so that none of this ever happens again…"
"We're not gonna pay him up." Boris said,
"What?! Why not?! He's probably gonna have his goons reveal that you guys were The Phantom Thieves and I was part of you guys!"
"Well we're The Phantom Thieves!" Cattleya said, "We're gonna go change his heart! And you're coming with us!"
Arthur was in shock.
"You can't be serious!" He said, "I don't think I can–"
"--Look, we want you to learn your lesson." Boris said, "So calm down and suck it up, pretty boy."
Arthur blushed as he then sighed.
"Alright…" He said, "Fine…"
"Good, we're going back when Ren feels like it!" Cattleya said, "Make sure you're all prepared during that time!"
"When Ren feels like it?!"
"Well I'm the leader after all." I said,
"Oh, right… You're the leader of The Phantom Thieves…"
