Chapter 68: Crimson's Calling Card

September 10th. We were then discussing on how and when we gonna send out the calling card to Crimson.

"So… We all know that The Phantom Thieves first formed right here in Pride." Astrid said, "But some of us are from different rings. Me and Ren are from Pride for example."

"Except that Ren is a Sinner while the rest are Hellborns." Cattleya said,

"And Ren can't enter different rings because, well, he's a Sinner." Arthur said,

"Cattleya, you're from Greed." Willow said, "Just like Crimson."

"Yeah, that too." Cattleya said, "Plus, Arthur has a sacred Goetia book that can give us access to different rings."

"I don't think we really need it for anything else." Arthur said, "Other than to Greed to steal Crimson's heart or treasure."

"Now, the big question is, do we also deliver the calling cards to Greed?" Lars asked,

"Might as well." Cattleya replied, "Crimson and I can deliver them there since I'm from Greed and I know my ways around the place."

"That could work." Willow said, "Meanwhile, the rest of us can stay here with Ren and Astrid and deliver the calling cards all over Pride."

"What about Wrath?" Lars wondered, "Moxxie is from Greed and his wife, Millie is from Wrath."

"...Let's not go there."

"Right…"

"Yeah, let's just stick to Pride and Greed." Boris said,

"Right, when are we gonna deliver them when you're all done making them?" Arthur wondered,

"When Ren feels like it." Cattleya replied,

Arthur chuckled.

"Alright, take your time, Leader." He said to me,

We all share a laugh.

I went home to The Hazbin Hotel. Angel Dust was out of breath as he then looked at me.

"Hey, kid." He said to me, "Have ya seen those shark goons lately?"

"No, I haven't." I replied,

"They're in Pride all of a sudden and me and Sugar Tits had to show them hell!"

"Really…"

"Oh yeah! I don't think Charlie's father isn't gonna do shit about it, and I know damn well that the police aren't gonna do shit either!"

"I don't think so."

"Yeah, considering how corrupted Pride has become lately ever since The Phantom Thieves arrived."

"Yeah…"

"Anyways, I'm out to drink and shit with Husk. Been nice chatting with ya, Ren."

"Go do that."

September 14th.

After hours of sending out calling cards to Crimson in Pride and Greed, today was the day for us to steal Crimson's heart.

Before that happened, Crimson was reading a calling card sent out to him in his mansion. Alessio and his goons were listening to him as he was about to read the calling card sent out to him. It read the following:

"Sir Crimson Knolastname,

The Life Controlling Puppeteer of Greed

You ruin the future of anyone's innocent lives, turn them into objects to your own little abuse and doubling down your tyranny with your greedy deals. Thus, we will steal away your desires and make you confess your crimes with your own mouth.

From, The Phantom Thieves."

Crimson had a serious look as he slowly looked at his goons.

"Anyone who agrees with these scoundrels, please leave." He said to them, "I'll deal with you all later."

A few shark goons and imp goons left the room. Those who stayed would turn to Crimson.

"Now, those who stayed and disagree with these so-called Phantom Thieves, listen up." He said, "I want you all to hunt them down in every last corner of Pride and Greed! I know for a fact that Pride is where they originate!"

Static occurred as Crimson's Shadow appeared, all alone is a dark void.

"Let our little show begin!" He said, "And may the best trickster win!"

Back to the real world, Crimson got up.

"I expect good results from you all." He said, "Now leave and do ya jobs!"

Everyone left as Crimson smirked.

"Phantom Thieves, huh?" He said, "Give me a fucking break…"

Later, we were outside of Café du Pécheur as signs were placed all over the side of the cafe.

"So, this is only the first step, huh?" Arthur wondered,

"Yup." Cattleya replied,

"Now what?" Astrid wondered,

"Now, we go to Greed, go to Crimson's Palace and then steal the treasure to change his heart. We only got this one day to do so, so we better make it count."

"Right, let's get in there and show Crimson who's messing with who!" Arthur said as he got out his book, "Now then, one more time, to Greed!"
