At A Warehouse…

At what looked to be an abandoned warehouse, all windows were boarded off, no one could see inside. No vehicles were outside, nothing suspicious outside…

THUD

THUD

THUD

Getting punched across the face three times, tied up to a rusty pole, blood dripping from the side of her face, blood running down the middle of her bottom lip, Spinelli's left side of her face was covered in blood, a cut on her cheek with blood smeared on it. Currently, the right side of her body was covered in the shadows, but the upper right shoulder area of her suit was drenched in dry blood. The right side of Spinelli's neck was covered in dry blood. Her own Sai stabbed and lodged in her left thigh. Another diagonal cut on the right side of her forehead. Despite her current injuries, she tried hanging in there, especially being all alone… She grunted and gritted her teeth, trying to regain her breath as the thug punching her crouched.

"You have no idea how long I've waited for this moment… The great Vigilante Scarlet at the hands of a street thug's mercy…" The thug told her. "Go to hell… You're not getting a reaction out of me!… You don't scare me!" Spinelli angrily answered He wound up for another punch across her face.

THUD

"HEY! CALM IT! We still need her alive!" A Militia soldier patrolling told the thug. "SHUT! UP!" The thug rudely answered.

The thug glared. "You're lucky the Militia had half the fun, otherwise you wouldn't be alive…!" Spinelli spat in his face. "Battered or not, I'll kick your damn ass… Just wait goddammit…"

THUD

The thug punched the right side of her face and stood up, signaling another thug in Spanish. "Come with me"

The Militia soldier briefly glared at Scarlet despite his mask covering his look. "Tonight, one of the Vigilantes finally dies… Heh." He raised his rifle on his shoulder as he soon walked upstairs.

Spinelli laid her head back, exhausted after taking a beating the past few hours, stabbed with her own weapon, and drenched in dried, smeared blood. Her chest rising and falling with each breath, she looked forward and down at herself. Her suit was a bloody mess with cuts and scratches everywhere, her Sai lodged in her thigh, Spinelli took heavy breaths.

She looked around before exhaling. "... I need to find a way out before they kill me…" She whispered to herself, her voice low and raspy as ever.

Just outside the warehouse, over another rooftop, a masked female ninja figure was seen with high-tech goggles, zoomed in on a battered Scarlet. The masked female ninja appeared to be pretty young, maybe thirteen years younger than Spinelli?

Lowering the binoculars, while her lower face was covered (like the Vigilantes), she squinted with a determined expression. She reached into her pocket and grabbed a small note. She exhaled looking at the note.

Looks like a woman on a mission.

Meanwhile…

Over at a suburb house, as Medical Examiners wheeled out a dead body in a body bag, Shadow walked in where Gerald was.

"What's up? Talk to me."

Gerald stepped down from the bed after grabbing a bag from the ceiling. "M.E. says the body must've been dead for at least half a day. Also found this on his face, the same drug we found at the house." Gerald explained as he set the bag on the counter.

Arnold lightly nodded. "...The fact this guy is dead, doesn't change a thing. We keep digging into everything. I don't care if that guy is dead, we're hunting for answers. We're one step closer to getting our final answer, and once we do, we'll find Scarlet." Shadow explained as Ariel walked up behind him while looking around.

"Anything?" He asked. Ariel raised her hand, currently holding an SMG. "I think this might provide an answer."

Arnold looked at her with a questionable look. "Found it under the bed."

Shadow exhaled. "I think you just saved us from a lot of work. Let's get these tested and see their origin, where they came from, and more importantly, who sold these to our John Doe."

Ariel nodded.

Later, Back At The Lair…

After having the illegal weapons scanned over, Phoebe and Impulse got a handful of answers.

Stella and Arnold soon walked up to her. "What do you got?" Stella asked.

"Alright, while not much from the guns, I did get something from that bag of bricks. A set of prints. Pedro Sanchez. Famous drug dealer and gun smuggler, worked with Gino on occasion. Three kids." Phoebe soon looked back after explaining.

Stella snapped her fingers. "Hey, Miles told me about him before. His wife was killed in a driveby, that's why he's raising three kids alone. He's also been locked up, the last time was a few months ago."

Phoebe nodded. "Right. Oldest son, on the wrong path, unfortunately. In and out of jail, almost BEAT a guy to death with a BARBELL. The middle brother was arrested once on a minor charge, not much to say."

Arnold raised an eyebrow. "And the other one?" He nodded to the youngest son's photo.

"Clean record, in high school, honors student. Emilio Sanchez." Phoebe answered.

"Do we have an address?" Stella asked.

Impulse immediately pulled up the location. "Right here, Mistress."

Stella nodded. "Like always, thank you, Impulse." She then looked at her son. "Alright, Miles and I will track the brothers, the rest of you get Emilio." Arnold nodded.

Soon…

Approaching on foot, they walked into the front yard as Shadow made them spread out. "Alright, get into position." He told Sapphire and Gerald as everyone else covered the front entrance.

"Got it."

As Trevon stood at the door, Trickshot and Sapphire found the back entrance.

Within seconds, a teenager came out holding a soccer ball. "SHOW ME YOUR HANDS NOW!" Trickshot yelled. Emilio immediately raised his hands. "You Emilio?" Sapphire asked whilst hovering.

"Y- Yes!..." Emilio nervously answered.

"Anyone inside?" Sapphire asked again. Emilio shook his head no. "No. I swear!"

"Where's your Dad?" Sapphire asked. "I don't know, I just came home!"

Shadow came over with Ariel. "Come downstairs, keep your hands up." Trickshot said. "Where are your brothers?" Sapphire questioned. "Working? I don't see 'em much." Emilio nervously answered.

Shadow motioned her ahead. Ariel pulled Emilio aside. "Alright, take a deep breath for me. It's ok."

"You two go inside with him, clear the house, make sure there aren't any surprises hiding. Dump his phone, and see if he's in contact with the old man. And bring him in toward PD." Shadow explained. Trickshot nodded. "Hey. You. Get up." Shadow snapped his fingers and told Emilio.

Ariel helped Emilio to his feet. "Come on, it's alright." Emelio nervously walked with Ariel, Trickshot, and Sapphire.

As they went inside to clear the house, Shadow approached Nadine. "What do you got?"

"About the two older brothers…" Nadine started. "They're in the wind. Miles and Stella checked the designated places but it looks they went dark. Those places look recently abandoned too."

"So they're involved in with these missing drugs." Shadow mentioned. "Miles found a contact of a known associate to Pedro. Name's Chris Gehlken. Play your cards right, he'll hook you up with Pedro." Nadine added.

Shadow slowly nodded. "Ok… I'll meet you guys back at HQ. Have Gerald meet with me, you join Sapphire." Shadow walked away. "Copy that, Sarge." Nadine looked over at Trevon, who was sitting down on the porch.

Minutes Later…

Under a shady bridge area, Gehlken turned the corner to find an undercover Gerald, dressed as a casual. Due to Arnold's company name and fame etc, Gerald was the right man to go undercover since his name wasn't in the papers like his best friend.

"Why you interested in Pedro Sanchez?" Chris asked. Gerald turned around. "You know where to find him?" He asked.

Gehlken nodded. "I got his number."

"You in business with him?" Gerald questioned. "Not the type you think. Pedro's got his hooks on some property I'm after in Chinatown." Chris answered. "Just give me an intro. That's it." Gerald said.

Chris sighed. "He keeps a low profile-" Gerald interrupted. "You tell him he better raise his profile if he wants his guns and drugs back."

"Look… I got long-term plans with this man. Took time to build something real. I can't risk that…" Chris explained. "Chris… I need this now. Call him." Gerald told him.

Gehlken exhaled and pulled out his phone to call Pedro. "Why do I feel like you're not telling me everything about this?" He put the phone to his ear. Gerald shrugged with his hands in his pockets. "Because I'm not."

Chris merely nodded. "Figured…"

Soon…

Over at a more public area, Gerald and Chris were standing around, waiting for Pedro.

"Let's not talk about how 'solid' he is. He's got a friend of mine." Gerald told Chris.

Meanwhile, in the parking lot, while there were a lot of casual cars, like normal, Miles was waiting in a black SUV and found a black Lexus parking. "Alright, Sanchez's here…" He radioed everyone.

Pedro walked up to Chris. He shook his hand. "Pedro. This is Keyshawn." Gehlken introduced him to 'Keyshawn'. Gerald shook Pedro's hand. "Let's get right to it. I heard you have one of my friends. Apparently, she got into some business of yours. I just wanna make peace with you."

Pedro had such an angry stare throughout and soon answered. "It's gonna take a lot to make 'peace' with me. My cousin got tortured and killed because of whoever stole those drugs."

Gerald nodded. "I hate to hear that, and I'm real sorry. That's exactly why I'm here to make it right."

Pedro rolled his eyes. "How are you going to do that, Keyshawn?"

"I'm gonna give you back your drugs and weapons. Some punk wannabe gangster named Carlos played 'em out of the drugs." Gerald explained about the dead body from earlier. "Oh, I know. And I'm looking for him." Pedro said.

Gerald pulled his phone out and scrolled through the photos to find the body. "I already took care of him for you. He's in the ground." He showed the photo. "How do you know that?" Pedro asked as he looked at the picture. "'Cause that's where I put him. Found the drugs, not a gram missing. Allow me to give it back to you with an extra 50k, including his weapon stash. All I need from you is to hand over my friend."

"I'll think about it." Pedro was about to walk away, but Gerald stopped him. "C'mon now. You can't just leave like that."

"Excuse me?"

"I need you to tell me my friend is alright." Gerald sternly looked at Pedro. "You don't tell me what to do." Pedro angrily looked at Keyshawn. "If you don't give me proof, there's no deal." Gerald answered.

Chris separated the two from a near scuffle. "Ok, deep breath. Take it down a notch…" Gehlken soon looked at Pedro. "Pedro. The man's got a point, he just wants to know if his friend's good."

After a moment, Pedro unzipped his jacket and pulled his phone out. He immediately dialed an associate. "... Put her on the phone."

At the warehouse, the two thugs came downstairs with a patrolling Militia soldier following.

The thug with the phone approached Scarlet, who looked up. "Talk." The thug said.

"... You got Scar…"

Pedro handed the phone to Keyshawn. "Scar, what the hell did we tell you about not grabbing what's yours?" Gerald asked.

Spinelli shook her head. "I, uh, I messed up." Despite the two knowing the truth, they had to put up a lie. "Damn right, you did."

"We getting the drugs back, and we'll get you back." Gerald told Spinelli as Pedro grabbed the phone and hung up. "We good?"

Gerald nodded before answering. "Yeah… Yeah, we're good."

Pedro nodded and started walking away. "Let's meet at four PM, I'll text you a place."

Back at the warehouse, the thug crouched to Spinelli. "Looks like you need a hospital, you look worse than before. How about a kiss and make you feel better?" Spinelli looked up with a furious expression. "Go to hell… You son of a bitch!..."

The thug stood up and wound up a left hook.

THUD

Punching the right side of her face, "AGH!" Spinelli groaned from pain.

"Shut up, bitch!" The thug's phone rang. "I'm gonna be back. It's gonna be real fun too." The thugs walked upstairs.

Spinelli briefly wheezed and started regaining her breath. "... Sonnuva bitch…" She looked behind the rusted pipe. "I gotta get out…"

She looked over at the staircase, the Militia soldier was gone.

Later…

At an abandoned bridge area, Gerald was currently leaning against a low-rider. Everyone else was set up with their long-range weapons.

"It's twelve (minutes) past four, how much longer…?" Nadine radioed. "Keep your head on a swivel, Sanchez will be here." Miles radioed back. Currently sitting in the SUV, he saw a white cargo van turning left and heading Gerald's way. Taking a closer look, he saw Sanchez was the passenger. "Johanssen, you're up."

Gerald looked to his left and saw the white van arriving and coming to a stop. "'Bout damn time."

Pedro and a thug got out of the van. "Where's Scar?" Gerald asked.

Pedro and a dark-skinned thug was with him. "She's in the van, nice and comfy. She's gonna remain there until I see my product." Pedro answered. "Let me take a look so we're all good." Gerald suggested.

"You will see her AFTER I see my product." Pedro demanded. Gerald merely nodded, with no other choice. He opened the trunk to reach for the drug bag. The second thug slowly walked forward. "Stay right there, homeboy." Gerald pulled a brick out. "It's all here. All you now. 'Kay?"

The dark-skinned thug turned around for a moment. "We're good." Immediately turning around, pulled a pistol out, and started firing at 'Keyshawn'. Gerald immediately ducked as Pedro also pulled a gun.

POW

POW

POW

"OPEN FIRE!" Shadow fired a sniper bullet at the thug right in the thigh, but Sanchez was already fleeing. "One offender down! Sanchez's on foot! Dad, he's headed your way!" He radioed.

The black SUV Miles was in immediately raced into the abandoned lot where Sanchez was seen running out of the scene.

The SUV screeched to a stop on the gravel, dust kicking up from the gravel. Miles stepped out, aiming one of Gerald's handguns. And with a calm expression, his finger on the trigger, steadily aiming…

POW

He shot Pedro in the leg, immediately making him fall and roll down.

"DON'T THINK OF STEPPING ON THE GAS! STEP OUT THE CAR BEFORE I LIGHT YOUR ASS UP!" Gerald yelled at the driver of the van. The driver nervously stepped out as Nadine opened the rear. "Guys, Spinelli isn't in the van. I repeat, we don't have Scarlet." She went on her earpiece.

As Miles stood there, watching Sanchez struggle with the injury, Shadow finally came over. Kicking Pedro onto his back, and stepping on Pedro's chest, he leaned over. "SHOW ME YOUR HANDS! NOW WHERE IS SHE!?"

"GO TO HELL!" Pedro yelled back. Shadow yanked on Pedro's jacket. "If anything happens to her… I swear on everything on this Earth, I will make your life a living hell… You'll be wishing by then you were never born!..."

Miles looked over to see three construction workers watching them. "Hey. Not here." Miles stood in front of Arnold to block off their view.

Shadow grabbed Sanchez's neck and slammed his head against the dirt and turned him on his back. "You son of a bitch, just wait 'till later… This isn't over." Shadow soon grabbed his handcuffs from his belt and placed them on Pedro.

Back at the warehouse Spinelli was held at, she tried to break the rusty pole to slide off her tied hands.

"Come!... On!..." But she eventually gave up for a moment. Spinelli took deep breaths, her chest falling and rising, the dried blood on her cheek and forehead along with a cut on the left side of her neck.

Spinelli looked at her shoulder 'V' badge and started thinking about her parents for her moment. Her husband. And her children… She also thought back on the numerous arrests she's made. She immediately shook her head fast. "I can't be having regrets on anything… That's not like me… Arnold always told me that…" She swallowed hard thinking about the motivational quotes given by Arnold.

She soon rested against the rusted pole. "Never go down without a fight…" Spinelli told herself.

At The Police Department…

THUD

THUD

THUD

With the sound of the fencing and powerful punches, Shadow grabbed Pedro by the hair and forced him to look at him. Pedro was covered in blood, cuts, and bruises, all caused by Shadow… Shadow had on special gloves that had extra metal padding on the knuckles

Grabbing Pedro by the hair and pinning his head against the wall and fencing, Shadow stared at the bloodied and bruised Pedro.

"... Are you done?..." Pedro asked dazed. "Are you talking?" Shadow questioned.

"Only to my lawyer… He's on standby… He's gonna be making calls, gonna want to see his client…" Pedro threatened.

"Maybe his client resisted arrest…" Shadow started. "Maybe his client reached for a gun so I had to shoot him in the face." On Shadow's glove, a small blaster-like device formed. Shadow shoved his gun device against Pedro's face as his knee pushed against Pedro's bullet wound.

"AHHHH! OH- UGGH! . . . I BET THAT'S NOT EVEN A REAL GUN!"

Shadow aimed away from Pedro.

POW

And shoved the gun back at Pedro's face. "Want me to try it on your face next?" He angrily stared.

Shadow slammed Pedro's head against the wall. "You're gonna tell me what I wanna know or you're gonna die…" Pedro gritted his teeth, his teeth also covered with smeared blood. "Kiss my brown ass!..."

Shadow had a furious look and wound up.

THUD

Shadow punched him in the left eye, making it even more swollen.

"That's enough, Sergeant." Miles spoke. Shadow threw Pedro's head back again and kicked him in the chest.

"AUGH- OH, OW!" Shadow walked out of the small fenced-off interrogation box. "We need leverage. Let's use the one thing this imbecile cares about." Miles suggested. "Who?" Arnold asked.

"His youngest son. The honors student." Miles replied. Arnold slowly nodded. "Alright… Who are we sending?"

"I already know who. You get yourself cleaned off. Or you can go back and beat Sanchez's ass…" Miles walked away.

Shadow immediately walked back to where Pedro was sitting. The small fenced interrogation box. Punching both his knuckles together as he immediately wound up for another strike.

Meanwhile…

Two patrolling Militia soldiers walked past Spinelli, nothing out of the ordinary, but suddenly…

CRACK

THUD

The Militia soldier behind snapped his partner's neck, killing him silently and instantly… Spinelli saw what unfolded, but didn't know what to do.

The Militia soldier looked back at her and slowly walked over to her. Once approaching her, the soldier crouched. Spinelli didn't move. "Go on… Do your damn worst…" She gritted her teeth. "I've taken enough of a beating!"

The soldier took off its mask and its hood, revealing… a woman behind the mask?... "No, no, no. I'm not here to hurt you!" She whispered. Spinelli's eyes widened. "Wha- Who are you?..." The female soldier looked around to make sure the coast was clear. "Ashley… I know who you are, but I'm not part of the Militia, I swear on my life and my mother's grave!"

"That doesn't answer my question! Who are you?!" Spinelli quietly asked. "I can't tell you much now, but call me Kidd. You'll be able to identify me by these boots." Kidd showed Spinelli her heeled boots.

The ninja from earlier found a way to sneak in.

"I know you have so many questions, but I'll answer them once you're out, I promise you! For now, I need to make sure you're still alive. I'll be back. I promise you on everything I'm not here to hurt you, I'm here to help. 'Kay?" Kidd got her Militia mask and hood on to fit in with the rest of the soldiers.

"Just… Play it smart… Don't let 'em catch us or they'll kill both of us!" Spinelli quietly said. Kidd nodded.

"All units! Check in! I have suspicious activity going on! I got a missing man!" Haidra radioed in. "Checkin' in, Boss." Kidd raised a fake voice, grabbed the rifle, and walked away. Kidd looked over her shoulder at Spinelli, giving a thumbs up.

Spinelli gave a small nod, still unsure if she should trust this 'Kidd' character.

Back at PD, Nadine and Stella walked into an interrogation room, where Emilio was brought in. "You're under arrest. Found drugs smuggled in your car. Put your hands behind your back." Stella sternly said as Nadine started cuffing him.

"But I didn't do anything!" Emilio nervously said. "We heard that one before…" Nadine said nonchalantly. "Can I call my Dad? He told me to call him if I ever got in trouble!" Emilio exclaimed.

"Oh, really?" Stella questioned. "Funny enough, you'll get to see him now." She stepped out, where the Commissioner was. "All yours." Gallup told Stella.

Back where Pedro was being held at, in the fenced interrogation box, he was currently unconscious, his head hanging as Shadow soon walked back in, still wearing the bloody gloves.

"Hey." Shadow threw Pedro's head back against the wall. "Bitch! Wake up!" Pedro finally woke up. "How's the eye?"

Pedro took a moment. "I can see just fine…!"

"Yeah? Good, I don't give a shit. Take a look at this." Shadow grabbed Pedro's hair and forced him to look to the right.

Nadine came in with Emilio and slammed him against the fencing.

"Hijo!" Pedro exclaimed.

"What…?" Emilio looked terrified. "Dad- Are you okay?!" Nadine yanked him back and dragged him away. "DAD! I DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!"

"It's okay, Mijo! It's okay, Mijo, it's okay!" Pedro shouted before looking at Shadow. "Found heroin in his car…" Shadow told Pedro as the Commissioner came down.

"Let him go, he's not part of this! He's a good kid!" Pedro gritted his bloody teeth. Shadow lifted a leg onto the bench and rested his left arm on his leg. "Is my wife alive?..."

"I don't know!" Pedro answered the wrong answer. "You don't know?!" Shadow slammed Pedro's head against the wall, choking him. "I told them to wait for my call! To wait until my product was returned!"

"WHERE IS SHE!?" Shadow yelled. Pedro gritted his teeth. "SHE'S AT THIRTY-NINE HUNDRED WEST UNION! IT'S AN OLD MANUFACTURING PLANT!" He shouted.

Shadow punched Pedro's left eye once more before leaving.

"YOU SONNUVA BITCH!" Pedro yelled as Shadow went to the Commissioner and his mother. "Let's go."

At The Warehouse…

CRACK

Spinelli knocked herself loose from the rusted pipe. She managed to lift off the pipe to slide her tied hands free from the pipe. Kidd overlooked, making sure no one was around. She had also hidden the dead soldier's body.

"Kidd… Hand me my other Sai…" Spinelli reached out.

Outside of the warehouse, with the Hybrid stopped at the left side of the structure, the entire strike team was there.

"Alright, the front has surveillance cams. Trickshot, Serpent, and I will hold the perimeter. Mom, Dad, Amy, you three take the south side of the building." Shadow directed as they walked to the rear entrance, which was locked.

Walking around the South side, Miles, Stella, and Amelia found no entry so far. "Damn near like Fort Knox. Sarge, nothing on the South side." Stella radioed.

"Keep looking, there has to be a way." Shadow answered as Gerald was using a halligan to unlock the back entrance.

Back inside, Spinelli had her second Sai hidden under her leg as one of the thugs had come down to check on her.

"Hey… You… Can I have some water?... C'mon, please…" Spinelli hung her head. The thug gave in and grabbed the water bottle.

Stepping closer to her, Spinelli suddenly grabbed her Sai, striking the thug's leg, making him fall over and fall right onto Kidd's blade.

The blade went right through him, killing him instantly. Spinelli nodded at Kidd as she removed the thug from her blade. "Good work…" Spinelli told Kidd.

Back outside, Miles found a small vent entrance. "Hey. Look." He pointed. Stella and Amelia saw the vent hole. "The hole's too small…" Stella looked at Amelia. "Amy, this is a big risk, but there's no other option!" Amelia nodded. "Lift me up. I'll be ok."

Miles and Stella looked at each other in concern, but they couldn't stand around either. They soon helped Amelia up.

Amelia easily slid inside the hole. She knocked away the vent seal inside and crawled in.

Stella went on her earpiece. "Amy's inside."

"Alone?" Shadow answered. "We have to, it's the only way." Stella answered. She then looked at Miles in worry. He also had a worried expression.

Inside, Kidd helped remove Spinelli's lodged Sai in her thigh and wrapped it with bandaging.

"Keep biting down on that Sai, I'm almost done wrapping it…" Kidd told Spinelli.

Back outside, Shadow tried contacting his daughter, but static came through. Gerald finally got the entrance opened. "Amelia, answer! We have entry at the rear, we're moving in!"

"Come on!" Miles hurried over to the back entrance. Stella followed behind.

Shadow, Trickshot, and Serpent went inside.

Kidd helped Spinelli to her feet.

"...Ugh… Thanks, Kidd…" Spinelli looked at Kidd. She nodded. "Cmon. Stay behind me, I'm going after the second guy, you take care of the patrolling soldiers…"

"Copy." Kidd quietly answered.

Soon, Spinelli finally made her move. Hiding against the wall, Kidd followed behind her quietly

As the thug was yelling on the phone, nobody noticed that Militia soldiers were being picked off one by one.

"AH-"

"Huh-"

"Wh-"

"L-"

"STOP TALKING! Just call me the second you hear anything! I called three times! Hit- I don't care!- " Spinelli slowly crept up the stairs, despite the pain in her thigh. She was biting down on her second Sai to control herself.

Finally climbing up the stairs, the thug turned around to find Spinelli creeping up.

The thug let go of the phone as he wound up for a punch. Spinelli let go of the Sai in her mouth and immediately countered his punch. Yanking his arm to a weird angle, she twisted his arm, spun her Sai in hand, and stabbed him in the stomach. She pinned him against a pole, punching him in the jaw and twisting the lodged Sai in his stomach.

Spinelli proceeded to stab him twice and toss him to the ground before stabbing him in the thigh, the exact spot where she was stabbed.

"MOM!" Amelia finally came over and put away her blade. Kidd kept the rifle raised as she looked for any remaining soldiers. Spinelli looked over and immediately pulled her daughter into a hug. "Amy! Sweetheart!…"

"Mom…" Amelia whimpered before regaining strength. Spinelli soon let go. Spinelli briefly stared at her daughter, wanting this nightmare to end. She regained her breath. "Stay up here, I'll get the other one…"

"Sarge! We got an offender down!" Amelia started as Spinelli went down the stairs. "Stay with her!" Spinelli told Kidd.

Climbing down the stairs, while the dead thug laid in a pool of blood, Spinelli found her worst nightmare standing there…

Haidra stood there with her handgun pointed at Spinelli, her finger on the trigger and ready to fire. Spinelli was breathing heavily. No words would be exchanged…

A moment of silence went on before… "Only I get to kill you…" Haidra's robotic voice filter was on and deep as ever. Her finger moving on the trigger…

POW

Haidra fired her handgun, keeping it raised for a moment.

"AUGH! D'AUGH!" Spinelli immediately took a couple of steps back, hitting the wall but falling to her knees and rolling onto her back…

Normally, the bullet would deflect off her armor, but her suit was too weak to withstand anymore, especially with Haidra aiming for the weakest part of the armor…

Spinelli started wheezing and coughing, sweating profusely, unable to reach for her chest and lightly trembling… Haidra finally lowered her gun. She turned around, and walked away into the darkness of the warehouse, leaving a battered Spinelli with one final wound, a possibly fatal one… Spinelli laid on her back, wheezing from the gunshot as she agonized in pain…
