Chapter 76: Stella's Treasure
October 13th.
With Darnell by our side again, we managed to go back to Stella's Palace in The Cognitive World to find the treasure in there.
"What took you long?" Cattleya wondered,
"Hey, I was busy with stuff, ok?" Darnell said, "Have some patience!"
"So, here we are in Stella's palace again." Boris replied, "And we have until November 1st for us to change Stella's heart."
"We are definitely gonna get this done!" Arthur said, "Octavia needs something to be done, same for us!"
"For Octavia!" Willow said,
We went into the palace from another window as we were on the side to where the missiles were from last time.
"Alright, so here's the missiles…" Selene said, "Looks like they're not activated this time."
"Good." Cattleya said, "Let's head to the other side!"
When we turned around, a robotic guard saw us and got prepared to battle us.
"Oh, well, this one likes to battle instead of sounding the alarm!" Arthur said, "Not on my watch!"
Arthur took off his mask to awaken Montezuma.
"Montezuma!" He shouted,
Montezuma then shot out Kougaon bless magic to the guard, weakening it.
"Now's our chance!" Astrid shouted, "Beat 'em up!"
We then performed an all-out attack on the guard, destroying it. Arthur got the last blow.
Meanwhile, Shadow Stella was watching us over in a private room through the cameras. She was clenching her teeth in anger.
"Those fucking brats are back…" She said, "I must find a way to get rid of them!"
Shadow Stella then saw a mic and pushed a button next to it, having the megaphones go off in the military we were in. Shadow Stella then got to her mic and spoke to us.
"Attention! If you're one of those fucking brats trying to break into my base, then prepare for the worst!" She shouted,
"Stella!" Arthur shouted,
"That bitch is on the mic!" Boris shouted,
"She knows we're here again!" Willow shouted,
Shadow Stella then ends the call as she looks at us through the cameras.
"Initiate the first line of ammunition!" She shouted at her Goetia demons from behind as they were on the computers,
"Yes ma'am!" They shouted as they activate the first line of ammunition,
While we were in the corner of another hallway, we saw stairs leading down another room.
"Huh, so instead of the treasure being upstairs, this Palace has the treasure downstairs…" Cattleya said,
"Well it is a military base." Astrid said, "If it's gonna have some sort of underground part of it all, then it will, guaranteed.
"Alrighty, let's–"
Then, we heard marching as we turned around to see some robotic soldiers with their assault rifles.
"Oh crap!" Cattleya shouted,
"There! There's the brats!" One soldier shouted, "Attack!"
They fired their guns at us, but I stepped in and used my Persona, Arsene De Luxe to deflect the bullets back at them, killing them.
"Woo! Way to go, Joker!" Cattleya said,
"Perhaps we need that in case someone tries to shoot at us." Darnell said, "Like those soldiers for example."
"Stella must have sent them out to try and kill us!" Boris said,
"No shit she does." Lars said,
"What else would you expect from a drill sergeant?" Willow wondered,
"I think we should stop right there and return to this spot once we cool down." Cattleya said,
"Good idea." Lars said,
"Yeah, I don't want another attack to happen, otherwise we'll be dead." Arthur said,
October 14th.
I was doing some chores with Rosie at her emporium. We chatted and that was it.
I then chatted with Loona as she upgraded our phones for better quality in The Cognitive World.
October 15th.
We returned to Stella's Palace in The Cognitive World as we flew down the stairs to below the 1st floor. Then, we saw a door that's locked with a password. It was the entrance to the 1st ground floor.
"Right, so we need a password." Darnell said, "Does anyone know what it is?"
"We don't need a password!" Astrid said as she pulled out her phone, "Watch and learn, Fossil!"
Darnell moved aside as Astrid used her phone to hack into the door, destroying it.
"There we go!" Astrid said, "Onward, team!"
We went to the 1st ground floor.
Then, there were lasers blocking another door.
"Huh, another door." Darnell said, "Could this lead us to the 2nd ground floor?"
"Let's not get ahead of ourselves, Fossil." Arthur replied, "Clearly, there's lasers blocking it."
"We need to find something that can turn off the lasers." Cattleya said, "Let's search around!"
Shadow Stella meanwhile was watching us through the cameras. She was slowly getting madder.
"They're not even to my treasure…" She said, "They're another floor down! Fucking brats!"
Shadow Stella pointed to her computer troops.
"Initiate the second wave of ammunition!" She shouted at them,
"Yes ma'am!" They shouted back as they got to it,
While we were searching, we heard more marching.
"Oh, don't tell me…" Cattleya said,
We looked at more robot soldiers, but this time with grenade launchers.
"Yup! I knew it!" Cattleya said,
The robot soldiers then fired their grenade launchers at us. We hid behind a corner of a wall for cover as the grenades started to explode, one by one.
"What now?!" Darnell shouted,
"Uhh, Wonder, can Mad Hatter deflect those explosives?!" Cattleya shouted,
"Probably not, Pirate!" Lars replied,
"Hey! We know you intruders are behind that wall!" One of the soldiers shouted, "So come out!"
Arthur sighed.
"We need a plan!" He said, "They're onto us already!"
"I got one." Darnell said, "One of you needs to follow along."
"I'll follow along."
"Right, listen up, Tango."
Later, Darnell then comes out with his hands up.
"Alright, you got me." He said,
"We know there's only more of you behind that wall!" One of the soldiers said,
"Come on, they must have fled somewhere else by now."
"Stop lying! Get your other friends to–"
"--Persona!" Arthur's voice shouted,
The guards turned around and saw Arthur awakening Montezuma after taking off his mask.
"Take this!" Arthur shouted,
Montezuma then fired Megidolaon Almighty magic at the guards, destroying them all to dust.
"There we go!" Arthur said as he recalled his Persona and had his mask returned to his face,
"Awesome, Tango!" Cattleya said, "Let's see if that does something to those lasers blocking the door!"
We went to the door where the lasers were blocking and the lasers were gone!
"Hey! The lasers are gone!" Selene happily said,
"Right, destroying time " Astrid said as she got out her phone,
Astrid then hacked and destroyed the phone with her phone.
"To the 2nd ground floor!" She said,
Shadow Stella meanwhile was even madder as she saw us going to the 2nd ground floor.
"Those fucking brats!" She shouted, "That's it! Bring out the 3rd wave of ammunition! Make sure they're ready!"
"Yes ma'am!" The computer Goetias shouted,
As we approached the 2nd ground floor, we saw another door locked. Astrid used her phone to hack and destroy it again.
"Little annoying, but whatever!" She said,
As we went into the 2nd ground floor, we saw another army of robot soldiers with their miniguns and assault rifles out. The assault rifles had lasers as they were aimed at us.
"...Well, this is shocking…" Cattleya said, shocked
"Put the weapons down!" One of the soldiers shouted, "And no one will get hurt!"
"Guess we have no choice…" Darnell said as he took a deep breath and walked toward the soldiers, "Hey, we'll drop the weapons, if you drop your weapons."
We were following along with what Darnell was doing.
"Are you sure you want us to drop your weapons?" One of the soldiers asked Darnell, "You're not pulling our legs again, are you?"
"No, I'm serious this time." Darnell replied, "Look, we'll drop our weapons first."
We dropped our weapons and put our hands up.
"Fine." One of the soldiers said, "Soldiers, drop your weapons and cuff these brats!"
As they dropped their weapons and went over to try and cuff us, I quickly took off my mask and awakened Arsene De Luxe, knocking the soldiers back. I looked at them and smiled.
"Never trick a trickster." I said,
Arsene De Luxe then shot out Maeigaon curse magic at the soldiers, destroying them all to dust.
"Nice one, Joker!" Cattleya said, "Come on, let's find the next door down!"
While we were doing that, Shadow Stella slammed her fists on her panel, enraged.
"FUCK!" She shouted in rage, "DAMN BRATS!"
Shadow Stella was breathing heavily.
"I'll find a way…" She said, "They're about to reach the core of my base… I'll stop them before we settle things… They will regret it…"
Astrid hacked and destroyed the door with her phone as we went down a spiral staircase all of a sudden.
"Oh! This looks like a way down to the treasure!" Cattleya said,
We went down to an automatic door as it opened for us. We went inside and saw a powerful electrical plant with the treasure on top of it.
"There's the treasure!" Cattleya said,
"Huh, that's the treasure?" Darnell wondered,
"Yes, but it's not in its physical form."
"I see…"
"Yeah, the only way to see the treasure in its physical form is to send a calling card to Stella in the real world." Astrid replied,
"A calling card? Like an anonymous threat?"
"Yeah, something like that." Cattleya replied, "Come on, let's go back to the real world before anymore soldiers come at us!"
