Kudō Shizuka(Fem-Shinichi) is a well-known high school detective, but his life changes one night when men dressed in black clothes give Shizuka a poison that makes his appearance different. To escape the threat posed by men dressed in black, he must conceal his identity, and even act as a mysterious Azure Redi to protect his friends.

Shizuka sat in a chair behind a table in Teitan Kōkō's Fine Arts class, reading a book about Princess Kaguya, as Shizuka had been taught to write a dissertation on Princess Kaguya.

Shizuka was wearing Teitan Kōkō's school uniform.

"Irene-chan, here are my friend Kojima Genta I mentioned earlier, and Tsuburaya Mitsuhiko", Ayumi said when coming to class.

Ayumi had short, brown hair, pale skin, and blue eyes. His hair crossed all the way to his shoulders. He had a yellow hair collar on his head.

Ayumi was wearing Teita Kōkō's school uniform, which was a white blouse with a blue jacket on. She had a blue skirt on her hips. He had a green tie around his neck. He wore white socks on his feet, and white inner shoes. He was 16 years old.

Genta was a slightly round boy with tanned skin, black eyes, and black hair. He was 16 years old. He was wearing the school uniform of the sons of Teitan Kōkō.

Mitsuhiko was a tall, skinny boy. She had pale skin, black eyes, and brown hair. He was wearing the school uniform of the sons of Teitan Kōkō. He was 16 years old.

"Nice to meet you", Shizuka smiled. "I've seen them here a couple of times already".

"Likewise, but isn't Irene an English name?" Mitsuhiko asked.

"Yes. But my mother is a Sherlock Holmes fan, and the Irene Adler character in those stories is my mother's favorite characters. That's why my mother gave me the first name Irene", Shizuka said.

"Aha", Mitsukiho said.

"I recently moved here to study in high school. Professor Agasa is an uncle. I currently live at the home of Mōri Ran, and his father. I'm going to start a detective sometime, but I still lack experience, so I'm currently working as an assistant to Ran's father to gain detective experience. Ran's father is a detective", Shizuka said.

"Right? Ran-san is the captain of this high school karate team", Genta said.

"That's right", Shizuka said.

"I like detectives a lot, so set up a detective-club", Ayumi said.

"Good idea", Shizuka said. "This, too, can be helpful in finding those men dressed in black".

"But shouldn't the club choose a name first?" Mitsuhiko said.

"It could be even Shōnen Tantei-dan!" Genta said.

"Sounds good", Shizuka said.
