"Aaaaaa!" Kogorō's yelled aroused Shizuka, and Ran, who ran in their nightgowns to the front door of Mōri Tantei Jimusho.
"What's wrong?!" Shizuka asked.
"Call the police, and the ambulance here!" Kogorō shouted, looking at the stairs, where lay a man with a knife in his right leg. The man had many wounds.
Ran rushed to the detective's office to alert police, and an ambulance to the scene.
"What happened?" Shizuka asked.
"I don't know his cockroach. I just got home, and that man was lying there. He's breathing, as you can see, so someone must have attacked him", Kogorō said.
"Okay. Uh, I'm going to the bathroom", Shizuka said.
(Later)
"So the man who was taken to the hospital recently was found in front of your home door, and you think someone attacked him. Why did you come home so late, Mōri-kun?" Megure asked.
They were currently sitting on the couches of Mōri Tantei Jimusho.
"A man hired me to find out if his wife was cheating on him. I came home from a running gig when I found that man in front of my front door. I cried after seeing him", Kogorō said.
