Chapter 87: Paimon Nova

December 10th.

Charlie was in her new throne room. She was wearing a similar outfit to what her father had worn when he was in charge, except it was red and pink. She was looking at the crystal from a window.

"I can't believe this is happening…" She said,

Stolas came by.

"Charlie." Stolas said, "I'm here."

"They're gonna take on your father, yes?" Charlie wondered,

"They are. On Extermination Day."

"I hope they win…"

"Me too… By the way, you look stunning."

"Thanks."

December 15th.

Blitzø was giving us some extra ammo and supplies.

"Just in case you guys run low, there's backup from your's truly." He said,

"Thanks, Blitz." I said,

"Good luck by the way, you're gonna need it against someone like Paimon."

"We will." Cattleya said,

December 23rd. 11:50PM.

Only 10 minutes until Extermination Day starts.

We went to Mementos to go to Paimon's crystal throne room again. Halfway, we saw that the prison cells no longer had anyone here.

"Everyone in the cells are gone…" Astrid said, "What happened?"

"Don't know, but we gotta focus on Paimon!" Cattleya said,

"Right! Paimon's the main threat here!"

"Let's start the final trickster game!" I said,

We made it to Paimon's crystal throne room. He was staring at the sky next to his throne.

"So… You Phantom Thieves came early?" He wondered, "Only 5 minutes remain until Extermination Day for you all."

Paimon turns around to look at us.

"Shouldn't you be finding shelter?" He asked us, "Instead you decided to try and stop me from doing what needs to be done…"

"Can't you see how much of a problem you've become?!" Arthur shouted, "You've ruined Stolas's life growing up by forcing him to marry a witch!"

"Stella almost told us about our plans! You delinquents almost ruined it! Ever since my wife died, I always wanted to take charge in arranging the things for my son to become! But he's just like his mother!"

"And now you're trying to take over Hell!" Cattleya said,

"Lucifer disappointed me! You changed his heart and now I gotta do things myself! So this was my "Plan B" you always wanted to call it!"

"By teaming up with angels to destroy Hell and recreate your vision of it like a God you are?!" Lars shouted, "Yeah, that Plan B of your's is a mass fucking genocide!"

"It's not a genocide! It's having you all reborn as worshippers to me! And these angels I've teamed up with have fallen and are out of Adam's league! Just like Lucifer and his little daughter."

"Yeah, well, none of that isn't gonna happen!" Cattleya shouted, "We're gonna stop you, once and for all!"

"Really? Well then, try your luck!"

Paimon then takes out a Goetia book. We gasped.

"Everyone down!" Boris shouted, "He's got a book!"

"Oh, I'm not using it to attack one of you with it…" Paimon said, "Watch!"

Paimon then used his book to create a spell like no other. He then coated himself under a dark flame with a scary red face.

"Not happening!" Selene shouted as she got out her gun, "Everyone, fire!"

We fired our weapons at Paimon, but the bullets and arrows were being absorbed by Paimon's fiery coating. Then, everything started to shake as the top part of the crystal was about to crack.

"Not good!" Cattleya shouted, "Everyone, brace for cover!"

We hid behind a crystal as a sudden blast occurred.

Then, we looked around after the aftermath of it. We were all over Pride as we saw something flying up in the air.

"Oh… my… Satan." Arthur said,

"He's… giant." Astrid said,

Paimon was seen as a giant bird monster. He still has his mask and crown over him from his normal form. He looked down at us and screeched at us.

"Behold!" Paimon shouted, "This is the power of my Nova form!"

Then, we heard a bell going off. One of us looked down and noticed that it was midnight.

"Shit! It's Extermination Day!" Cattleya shouted, "Midnight!"

We then looked back at Paimon Nova as a holy portal came down, revealing fallen angels disguised as demons.

"And here comes the Exterminators!" Arthur shouted,

"Go!" Paimon Nova shouted at them, "Kill The Phantom Thieves! So that we can usher in the new vision of Hell together!"

The fallen angels then targeted us and launched towards us.

"Well, guess this is the best time for us to show Paimon our new Personas!" Lars shouted as he took off his mask to awaken his newly evolved Persona, "Sun Tzu!"

Sun Tzu appeared as he shot out Maragidyne flames at some of the fallen angels, burning them up to ashes. More fallen angels went after Cattleya as she took off her mask to awaken her newly evolved Persona.

"Mary Reed!" She shouted,

Mary Reed created a Swords Dance and sliced and slashed the fallen angels targeting Cattleya.

"Damn it!" Paimon Nova shouted as more fallen angels appeared, "Get them!"

Some targeted Willow this time.

"Oh no you don't!" Willow shouted as she took off her mask to awaken her newly evolved Persona, "Nephthys!"

Nephthys appeared and shot out Maziodyne lightning at them, shocking them to dust.

More fallen angels came after Boris and Selene. The two took off their masks to awaken their newly evolved Personas.

"Pan!" Boris shouted,

"Morgan Le Fay!" Selene shouted,

Pan shot out Mabufudyne ice magic while Morgan Le Fay shot out Maeigaon curse magic at the fallen angels, killing them.

Then, the last remaining fallen angels strike at Arthur. Arthur quickly took off his mask to awaken his newly evolved Persona.

"Chaac!" He shouted,

Chaac appeared and shot out a rain of Makougaon blessing magic at them, instantly killing them.

"There we go!" He shouted,

Paimon Nova looked down at us with frustration.

"Now you're waking up the true inner demon in me!" He shouted, "But first! Take this!"

Paimon Nova then charged up a blast of his magic and fired it out from his mouth as a beam at us. We dodged, but the impact knocked us back a bit.

"Come on, quit being stubborn little delinquents and give up!" He shouted at us,

Paimon Nova then screeched at us, making us stunned after tripping to the floor from the screech. Astrid looked at Paimon Nova through her newly evolved Persona, Kogyoku.

"This is bad!" She shouted, "He's got us right where he wanted!"

Paimon Nova then charged up another beam of his magic from his mouth and shot it down at us. I stepped in and awakened Arsene De Luxe to try and block it. I groaned as I try to go through, but it was a big struggle.

"It's no use! Not even Arsene De Luxe can stop it!" Astrid shouted,

The beam then got to us, damaging and weakening us. Paimon Nova laughed at us.

"This is the power of Paimon Nova!" He shouted, "Your Personas are no match against my power!"

Paimon Nova then started to slowly coat himself in his dark flames.

"And now, the moment everyone has been waiting for!" He shouted, "A new Hell is upon you all!"

Cattleya struggled to get up.

"This is bad…" She said, "Is this really the end of everything?"

Down below, Charlie and Stolas saw Paimon Nova powering up and braced themselves while inside of Charlie's new castle.

Vaggie, Angel Dust and Alastor saw it all happening as well, outside of the Hazbin Hotel.

Blitzø, Moxxie, Millie and Loona saw it all happening too and were shocked.

"Un…holy… shit." Blitzø said, "Damn Stolas, your father is a powerful motherfucker."

Everyone else was seeing what was going on. Sinners and Hellborns alike.

"What the fuck is that?!" One sinner shouted, "Is that Paimon?!"

"What's he doing!?" One hellborn shouted, "Is he trying to kill us all?!"

Someone raised their arms at us from below. It was Boris's brother, Lindsey.

"Don't give up, Phantom Thieves!" He shouted,

Some were confused at Lindsey. Lindsey turned to them.

"We're all about to die!" He shouted, "But I know damn well that The Phantom Thieves can do this!"

"Yeah!" Another voice shouted,

Everyone turned to Jasmine.

"They can do this!" She said, "We just gotta believe in them!"

Baxter appeared.

"That's right!" He shouted, "I don't want to die! I want to live!"

"Same here!" Cherri Bomb shouted as she appeared, "These fuckers better kill that Paimon bastard!"

"Yeah! Lindsey shouted, "Are the rest of you all with us?!"

"I, I guess so!" A Sinner shouted, "I still wanna travel to Lust!"

"Yeah!" A hellborn shouted, "I wanna go back to Gluttony and party with the Queen!"

"Come on, Phantom Thieves!" Another sinner shouted, "Get this guy out of here for Satan's sake!"

Everyone in Hell, near to Paimon's crystal, started to cheer for us.

Paimon Nova then fully covered himself in his dark flames and started to fire it at us as a big explosion.

"BEGONE, WRETCHED THIEVES!" He shouted,

I reacted and took off my mask to awaken Arsene De Luxe again. Arsene De Luxe caught the explosion.

"Joker! What are you doing?!" Astrid shouted,

"Guys! Look down below!" Boris shouted,

My friends looked down and saw everyone cheering for us.

"Is this what made Joker act?!" Arthur shouted,

"Whatever he is doing, keep up, Joker!" Cattleya shouted,

I nodded as I grabbed the chains of Arsene De Luxe and broke them. Then, Arsene De Luxe started to evolve.

"What now?!" Paimon Nova shouted as he saw what was happening, "Did he deflect my attack again?!"

Arsene De Luxe then grew bigger and glowed into a blue flame, swirling around him after absorbing Paimok Nova's attack. He then evolved into a more powerful Persona. Everyone below looked down at it.

"What is that?!" One sinner shouted,

Charlie and Stolas meanwhile saw it all.

"What is that?" Charlie said,

"That's Ren's true power as a trickster." Stolas replied, "His rebellious spirit gave him a new power. Lavenza!"

Lavenza appeared in front of me.

"This is your moment." She said to me, "Make sure it doesn't go to waste."

I nodded and looked back at my friends.

"Go Joker!" Cattleya shouted,

"Finish him off, man!" Lars shouted,

"Do it for us!" Willow shouted,

"Make that feathered fuck get what's coming!" Boris shouted,

"Put on a real show-stopper!" Selene shouted,

"Save this shithole!" Astrid shouted,

"We believe in you! All of us!" Arthur shouted,

I nodded at them as Lavenza granted me a light blue sphere for me to absorb. Lavenza disappeared as I looked at my new Persona.

"Pillage him!" I shouted, "Satanael!"

Satanael and I got our guns and aimed them at Paimon Nova's crown and mask.

"...Begone." I said,

"NO!" Paimon Nova shouted, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! WHAT IS THIS MADNESS OF YOUR'S?!"

We both shot at his crown and mask, destroying Paimon Nova.

"IMPOSSIBLE!!!" He shouted as he faded away from his Nova form,

Paimon Nova was no more. The portal from Heaven was then closed.

"Fuck…" Cattleya said, "That… was FUCKING AWESOME!!!"

"Ha ha! He did it!" Lars shouted as he hugged Willow, "He really fucking did it!"

"Ha ha! He sure did!" Willow shouted,

"Wow…" Boris said, "We actually won!"

"We won!" Selene shouted,

"We fucking won!" Astrid shouted as she hugged Cattleya,

"I can't believe Hell has changed thanks to us!" Arthur shouted,

I smiled as I was on one knee all of a sudden. Lars and Cattleya went over to get me up.

"Here, let's get out of here." Lars said,

Paimon was back to his normal form, weakened. We saw him as he was breathing heavily.

"No…" He said, "This isn't the end! Where's my book?!"

"Looking for this?" A voice said to him,

Paimon turned around to see Stolas.

"S-Stolas!" He shouted, "Whatever you do, do NOT touch that! That's a precious book that's been used for centuries!"

"Oh really? Stolas wondered, "Well, let me see… Oh, I guess I have the power to use it now. Watch."

Stolas then used the book to seal Paimon in a magical sphere. Stolas then made his crown disappear and had his crown on him now.

"No! That's my crown!" Paimon shouted,

"Not anymore." Stolas said, "Father, no… Paimon of Ars Goetia."

Paimon gasped.

"I am placing you under arrest on behalf of Princess Charlotte for attempted a mass genocide." Stolas said,

"N-NO!" Paimon shouted, "YOU CAN'T DO THAT TO YOUR OWN FATHER! LISTEN TO ME!"

Stolas was silent as he raised his hand up, readying to snap his fingers.

"DON'T BE SILENT! I WILL DESTROY YOU ALL AGAIN!!!" He shouted,

Stolas then snapped his fingers as he made Paimon disappear.

"There." He said, "That's the last we'll see of him."

Stolas looked at me.

"Well done, Ren." He said to me, "Thanks to you, we can finally have Hell back to its suffering again, but not as strict as it once was."

"You're welcome." I said as I bowed,

Stolas giggles a bit.

"This is a bit exciting in this new position." He said as he took a deep breath, "Anyways, I'll be off."

Stolas disappeared.

"Anyways, let's get out of here and head home!" Cattleya said, "This whole thing really drained me!"

"Same for all of us, Cattie!" Astrid said,

We all shared a laugh. What a victory we had. Hopefully we can cherish it.
