Well hello! Here is a new chapter in my Azure Redi fanfiction. I will start planning the next chapter. See you in the next chapter.
Shizuka talked to her new friends in the park.
"Tokyo Spirits will play in the Sunday Cup final against Big Osaka. Akagi Hideo is sure to lead his team to victory because he is a skilled footballer", Genta said.
"Ramus-san will play for the Big Osaka football team in the Sunday Cup final against Tokyo Spirits", Mitsuhiko said.
"Naoki-san plays on the same team as Hideo-san", Ayumi said. "I like the style of play of Hideo-san, but I like the style of play of Naoki-san more".
"Too bad Naoki-san can't take part in today's Sunday Cup game, because I recently heard a thing that Hideo-san accidentally broke Naoki-san's leg in some football practice just a while ago. Hideo-san was then trying to kick the football on that field, but Hideo-san then accidentally kicked Naoki-san in the leg while Naoki-san was standing in front of that football at the time, as a result of which Naoki-san's other leg broke and Naoki-san cannot play football for a while now", Mitsuhiko said.
"It was definitely really painful", Shizuka said.
"Yes. Naoki-san is a football player who joined the Tokyo Spirits about a year ago", Mitsuhiko said. "Hideo-san has reportedly always been more popular than Naoki-san, even though their football skills are quite similar. Less is becoming jealous, or so it is at least rumored. Hideo-san is reportedly getting even more fan mail, and popularity than Naoki-san. From Naoki-san's point of view, it's probably annoying".
"Maybe. See you tomorrow", Shizuka left the park and arrived at her temporary home when Ran arrived.
"I'm sorry, but do you have anything to do with Mōri-san?" Shizuka asked after seeing a 16-year-old girl standing behind the front door of Kogorō's study. The girl was wearing Beika Kōkō's school uniform. That school uniform was a white, long-sleeved blouse with a red embellishment on the front. The girl had a blue, knee-length skirt on her hips. He had white socks on his feet, and black shoes. The girl had a light blue ribbon in her hair. Her hair was short, and brown. His skin was pale and his eyes were blue. He was tall, and skinny. He was holding a black school bag in his right hand.
"In a way", The girl said. He tried to ring the doorbell, but did not ring. He looked insecure.
"You must be a little shy", Shizuka thought, looking at the girl.
"Come inside, of course", Ran said, opening the door to go inside Shizuka, and with the girl.
"Good day, Mōri-san. I'm Akagi Ryoko. I'm studying in Beikan Kōko for the first year", Ryoko said, sitting on the couch. "I need your help in the search for a person. He's missing, or so it's rumored. I have a case for him".
"Who are you talking about?" Kogorō asked.
"About the girl in this picture", Ryoko took a photo from her school bag, which she gave to Kogorō. That photo featured Kudō Shizuka.
"That's a picture of Shizuka!" Ran shouted after seeing that picture.
"Yes. I need Shizuka's help", Ryoko said.
"Is a stalker lurking around you, and you want Shizuka-san to set a trap for that stalker so the police can arrest that stalker? Maybe that stalker threatened you?" Shizuka asked.
"If that's the case, then leave that stalker to me", Ran said. "I can hack it, a stalker lurking in such bad shape that he'll leave you alone".
"I-isn't about any stalker", Ryoko said. "I'd just like to interview Shizuka-san".
"Interview? Are you a reporter?" Ran asked curiously.
"Yes. I'm the editor-in-chief of my school's magazine, but that magazine hasn't sold very well lately. That's why I decided to interview Shizuka-san, because I thought interviewing a famous high school detective would improve my school's school magazine sales. recently, so I came to ask you if you know where she is now because your daughter Ran-san is reportedly a childhood friend of Shizuka-san's", Ryoko said.
"She's now an uncle at home. She's food poisoning now, so she's not in a suitable interview condition right now", Shizuka said.
"Really?" Ryoko asked.
"Yeah, but I know how to get your interview, Ryoko-san. What if you turned Shizuka-san's normal interview into a phone interview? Give me your phone number and I'll take it to Shizuka-san, and he'll call you later", Shizuka said.
"Good idea. To think I didn't invent it myself", Ryoko said. "Where do we do the phone interview?"
"How about your home?" Shizuka asked. "That way you could come up with better questions".
"Sounds good", Ryoko said.
"Is it okay for Ran and his father to come?" Shizuka asked.
"Of course", Ryoko said
He wrote a phone number on a piece of paper he took from his bag, and gave it to Shizuka.
The crowd left Kogorō's study, and stopped at the front door of Agasa's home.
"Wait here, I'll be back soon. Namely, Shizuka-san wouldn't want you to see him now that he has that food poisoning. He needs a rest now", Shizuka opened the door and went inside.
"Shizuka must have eaten something inappropriate once he has properly received food poisoning", Kogorō said.
XXXX
Shizuka walked forward, stopping in front of Agasa sitting on the couch.
"Hakase, look", Shizuka made a copy of himself, and the copy sat next to Agasa.
"Shizuka-kun, what's going on?" Hakase asked.
"A girl named Akagi Ryoko recently arrived in Kogorō's office to want to interview me, but there may be something suspicious about this situation. I can't reveal my real name to anyone because of the threat posed by the men in their black clothes, so I told Ryoko "I asked Ryoko to interview Shizuka with a phone interview we're doing in Ryoko's apartment. Here's Ryoko's phone number", Shizuka said, and then looked at her copy, giving Ryoko's phone number for her copy:
"Your job is to handle calling Ryoko from here while introducing me. At some point, I'll send you a text message telling you if I find anything suspicious in Ryoko's apartment".
"All right. I see things the same way you do through you, so I'll take care of the phone section you just mentioned, and I'll help you resolve this case", A copy of Shizuka said.
"Here's my new invention I made for you", Agasa gave Shizuka a laptop:
"With this laptop you can perform a variety of scans, and examinations".
"Thank you both", Shizuka said, and then walked out of the house, closing the front door of the house:
"Ryoko-san, Shizuka-san agreed to your interview. Now let's go to your apartment to prepare for that phone interview".
"Sure", Ryoko said, walking forward with the others.
Eventually, the crowd arrived in front of the door in the apartment building.
"So you live here", Ran said.
"Yes", Ryoko said, picking up the key from the right pocket of her skirt, carrying the bag in her left hand.
"Wait a minute! Mōri-san, are those traces of torture?" Shizuka asked after seeing traces of torture in the locked front door of Ryoko's apartment.
"You are right!" Kogorō said after seeing the same as Shizuka.
"Oh no! Is my apartment broken into?!" Ryoko asked, trembling a little.
"Is there a stalker after him anyway?!" Ran thought worriedly. "I'll hit that stalker!"
"Open the door with the key, but don't touch the handle for any fingerprints the thief may leave on the door handle", Kogorō advised Ryoko.
"All right", Ryoko said, opening the door. Ryoko, and the others went inside. They left their shoes in the lobby.
Kogorō closed the door by holding the handle with his own handkerchief.
"There are only men's and children's shoes in the shoe rack of this apartment. This may not be a woman's apartment. Is this really a man's apartment?" Shizuka thought of the field rack on the left side of the lobby, the doors of which were open. The bottom shelf of that shoe rack had a couple of cardboard boxes. "Why does Ryoko-san have a key to this apartment?"
"Those are my brother's shoes", Ryoko said after seeing Shizuka look at the shoes in the shoe rack.
"All right. I hope that thief just isn't hiding here now", Shizuka said, putting light blue slippers on his feet like everyone else.
"It only survives by examining this apartment thoroughly. Stay behind me for your own safety", Kogorō told the girls as he walked forward. Kogorō then saw a football on top of the closet. "Ryoko-san, is that your brother's football?"
"Yes. My brother is a real football fan", Ryoko said. He then took the cell phone from his pocket and pressed its keys:
"I didn't find Shizuka-san, but he reportedly will call me later".
"Who did Ryoko-san call right now?" Shizuka thought.
Ryoko turned off the phone and put it in his pocket:
"I just called another author in my school magazine".
"All right. Is your brother messy?" Kogorō asked after seeing the messed children's room.
"A little, but even he doesn't mess up that much", Ryoko said after seeing the mess. She was about to cry.
"Is your brother's name maybe Mamoru?" Shizuka asked after seeing the name plate on the door of the tangled children's room that read Mamoru.
"Yes. You noticed we saw that name plate", Ryoko said.
The crowd continued to search the apartment, but nothing had been taken away. There was no one in the apartment besides them.
"Is the thief who has come here messed up my brother's room?" Ryoko asked worriedly.
"I'm sorry, but I go to the bathroom, and then I come back", Shizuka said. "Is it okay for me to put my laptop on the kitchen table?"
"Yes", Ryoko said.
"Thank you", Shizuka put her computer on the kitchen table.
Then Shizuka left the kitchen. He took a picture with his cell phone of the traces of the front door lock. After closing the door, Shizuka took a picture of the men's and children's shoes in the shoe rack. He took a picture of a messed up children's room. He then glanced at the floor of the room, where he saw a photograph of a teenage boy and a little boy. He took a picture of it too. The little boy in the picture had a name tag on his blouse that read Mamoru.
"That's Akagi Hideo! It's a star player in the Tokyo Spirits, and that kid seems to be Akagi Hideo's little brother, Akagi Mamoru! Hideon, and Mamoru's apartment? Could Ryoko really be Akagi Hideo's girlfriend? Why isn't she encouraging her boyfriend now that the Tokyo Spirits are playing the final match? And what about Hideo's brother?" Shizuka thought about going to the bathroom. He locked the toilet door, and sent a copy to him:
"It's a crime. We're now in the apartment of Akagi Hideo's, and his brother. The front door of this apartment has traces of scribble. Hideo's little brother, Mamoru, Mamoru's room even had a picture of Hideo, and Mamoru. Only Mamoru's room was messed up, so this case seems to be related to Mamoru in some way. Ryoko really wanted me to deal with this case, and at the same time Ryoko wanted me to save Mamoru. So Ryoko doesn't really live in this apartment. Akagi doesn't seem to be Ryoko's real last name. I don't know why she used Hideo's last name. Maybe Ryoko is really Hideo's girlfriend".
Shizuka even sent a copy of the pictures he took. He put his cell phone in his pocket. He pressed a button on the toilet seat, and washed his hands, and dried his hands with a hand towel. He opened the door, and closed the door to the kitchen.
"What is Hideo really up to?" Ran asked while watching TV.
"What do you mean?" Shizuka asked, sitting in a chair in front of the table.
"Hideo looks really nervous, even though he has successfully scored goals. He is not happy, but downright stiff in fear. In fact, he has even missed easy goals, and that's why the news anchor who described the game just said Hideon is playing particularly poorly today", Ran said.
Shizuka watched TV to see the other Tokyo Spirits congratulating the horror-stricken Hideo.
"Oh yeah. Genta mentioned earlier that the Tokyo Spirits are taking part in the final today. Hideo seems to be in game stress now, as his team saw is playing in the final, which many are watching", Shizuka said.
"Maybe", Ryoko said.
Then, suddenly, a message from Ryoko picked up a message that Ryoko picked up and started crying after reading the message. He fell to the floor with his knees trembling:
"This is not good...Mamoru-chan".
Shizuka and the others walked behind Ryoko and saw what was written in Ryoko's recent message:
"You'll never see your little brother again".
"Ryoko-san?" Ran asked anxiously, grabbing Ryoko's shoulders, lifting him to his feet as the message fell to the floor.
"Would you make tea to give Ryoko-san something else to think about? I'm sure everything will be sorted out in some way", Shizuka said.
"Good idea", Kogorō said.
Ryoko rushed through the kitchen cabinets as if she didn't know where the kitchen utensils were before she found the tea, and the Teacups:
"Give when I help you make tea".
When no one noticed, Shizuka picked up a message that Ryoko had previously dropped, and described it, sending it a copy with the message:
"It must be an abduction. And the abductor is the Mamoru I mentioned earlier. The abductor has probably threatened to kill Mamoru unless Hideo makes sure the Tokyo Spirits lose the final match. Hideo, and Ryoko, because of the threats made by the kidnapper, did not dare to contact the police, or a private detective, so Ryoko probably decided to look for me. He stated that he wanted to interview me so the kidnapper wouldn't find out Ryoko wanted to give me a mission to rescue Mamoru from the kidnapper. Ryoko was probably afraid the kidnapper was spying on Hideo's acquaintances in case Hideo's acquaintances tried to save Mamoru, so Ryoko said he wanted to interview me. He arrived at the Kogorō office to get a hint of my whereabouts as I have not recently shown up in Tokyo as Kudō Shizuka, and after finding me Ryoko was going to take me to Hideo and Mamoru's apartment where Ryoko would explain the situation to me. Apparently Hideo doesn't have time to take care of his brother because of his football career, so Ryoko takes care of Mamoru. This is definitely not Ryoko's apartment, as Ryoko rushed recently I don't go through the kitchen cabinets as if I didn't know where the kitchen utensils were before he found the tea, and the Teacups when I suggested Ran and his father make tea to calm Ryoko after Ryoko had just received a message from Mamoru's kidnapper. That message read:
"You'll never see your little brother again". Here is a message the kidnapper just sent to Ryoko. No doubt. This is a kidnapping case. Call Ryoko now and make sure of him".
Shizuka deleted the messages he had sent, and put his cell phone in his pocket.
Everyone was sitting at the table.
Pring pring!
Ryoko stood up and grabbed the phone at a nearby table.
"Evening", Ryoko said, turning on the phone.
"Evening. Would you put me on the speaker?" Shizuka's copy requested.
"All right", Ryoko said, putting the phone on the table, and then on top of the speaker.
"Evening everyone. I'm Kudō Shizuka. It's a kidnapping, isn't it? And the kidnapped is the little brother of the Tokyo Spirits star player, Akagi Hideo, Akagi Mamoru. You're in Hideo's and Mamoru's apartment now, aren't you? through the kitchen cabinets as if you didn't know where the kitchen utensils were when you just brewed the tea before you found the tea and kidnapper has probably threatened to kill Mamoru unless Hideo makes sure the Tokyo Spirits lose the Sunday Cup final, which is why Hideo is now playing so nervously, because he's worried about his brother, that's why he's even missed the easy goals I'm watching the final match right now and I see Hideo's nervous look. Hideo Ryoko-san, but this case probably concerns both you and, Hideo is not a football career Because of her, you have time to take care of Mamoru, so you take care of Mamoru, Ryoko-san. So you're kind of Mamoru's babysitter, and you might even be Akagi Hideo's girlfriend, aren't you?" Shizuka's copy asked. "That would explain why you have the key to Hideo's and Mamoru's apartment. Is that the key I just mentioned, possibly the backup key for Hideon, and Mamoru's apartment?"
"Yes", Ryoko said.
"Why didn't you immediately say it was a child abduction case?" Ran asked Ryoko.
"Because Ryoko-san seems to be afraid of Mamoru's abductor spying on all of Hideo's acquaintances in case Hideon's acquaintances plan a rescue attempt on Mamoru. I don't know why Ryoko-san used her boyfriend's last name when she came to Mori-san's office earlier today and introduced herself to you, but maybe Ryoko-san didn't want Mamoru's kidnapper to understand Ryoko-san's Apparently Hideo, and Ryoko-san did not dare to ask the police or a detective for threats from Mamoru's kidnapper to save Mamoru, as they were probably afraid the kidnapper would harm Mamoru in some way. me As a friend of Ryoko-san in case the kidnapper saw me with Ryoko-san. After finding me, Ryoko-san was going to bring me to Hideon, and to Mamoru's apartment, where Ryoko-san would explain the situation to me and ask me to look for Mamoru. Since Ryoko-san and I are the same age, no one would think about why we move between the two but think we are just friends. However, I haven't been to these main for a while, so that's why Ryoko-san came to your office today to look for me in case you knew anything about my current location, Mori-san. After hearing about this from Irene-san a short time ago, I asked Irene-san to keep an eye on Ryoko-san for anything suspicious, and it worked. My recent theory is supported by traces of hiccups locked on the front door of Hideo's apartment, men's and children's shoes in the lobby shoe rack that apparently belong to Hideo and his brother, a tangled children's room that is undoubtedly Mamoru's room and a photo of Hideo and Mamoru and Ryoko recently received a fax. That message was no doubt sent by the Mamoru kidnapper. Irene-san sent me the pictures of the evidence I just mentioned on her cell phone just recently. I asked Irene-san to delete the messages I just mentioned, and the pictures I sent with them from my cell phone just recently by sending a text message to Irene-san, as I have already started investigating those pictures. Has the Mamoru abductor sent you, or Hideo, any other threat messages about Mamoru's safety?" Shizuka's copy asked Ryoko.
"Yes", Ryoko said. He took the crumpled papers from his skirt pocket, which he opened:
"I found these messages from this apartment when I came here earlier today. Those messages are from Mamoru's kidnapper, and another message reads like this:
"Akagi Hideo, if you want your brother to return home alive, make sure the Tokyo Spirits lose today's final match against Big Osaka. If you do, I'll send Mamoru back to your home as soon as the game is over". The second letter reads as follows:
"Brother, bring me to life".
"Or so? When did you notice the abduction took place?" Shizuka's copy asked.
"This morning, when I came to this apartment to make breakfast for Mamoru-chan. I found those letters I just mentioned then about this apartment", Ryoko said.
"Shouldn't this be reported to Hideo's, and Mamoru's parents?" Kogorō asked.
"Unfortunately, that is not possible because Hideo has taken care of his brother since their parents died two years ago. The kidnapper ordered Hideo to secure the Tokyo Spirits' losing final. the police would be involved in investigating this case", Ryoko said.
"I see. So we're on our own to investigate this abduction case", Ran said, sounding concerned.
"I'll hit that kidnapper!" Ran thought angrily, imagining how the kidnapper might have tied Mamoru.
"So the one you called earlier was Hideo", Kogorō told Ryoko after understanding the situation.
"Yes, because I agreed with him to ask Shizuka for help, because Hideo can't take part in his brother's search because of the ongoing final match", Ryoko said.
"Of those letters, so much so that the second letter is apparently a letter that the kidnapper forced Mamoru-Chan to write. Does Mamoru-chan like to write letters?" Shizuka's copy asked.
"Yes. Mamoru-chan always writes small letters when he goes somewhere", Ryoko said. "Why did you ask?"
"Maybe the kidnapper somehow found out that Mamoru-chan likes to write letters, so that's why the kidnapper forced Mamoru-chan to write to Hideo the letter he mentioned earlier, 'Brother brings me back to life'. Irene-san, you recently got a new computer. Turn it on, and use that computer to examine Ryoko's recent fax, and then Mamoru-chan's previous message to Hideo", Shizuka's copy said. I want to hear your opinion on that too ".
"All right", Shizuka said, turning on his computer, with which he described Ryoko's recent message, as well as a message Mamoru wrote. "The second message recently received by Ryoko-san doesn't show anything strange, but one line of the message Mamoru-chan wrote earlier is glued to that "Brother wake me up"-line. at the right edge right after that line "Brother wake me up", and between the word "come to life. What could it be, Mori-san?"
"I guess Mamoru wrote something in his message to his brother that the kidnapper considered proof of the kidnapper's identity, and that's why the kidnapper probably glued that line to the message I just mentioned, leaving only the word Mamoru wrote after understanding the situation. "The abductor probably didn't notice that he accidentally left out the ki-item you just read in that message if the abductor quickly glued the gluing point made to that letter to that letter".
"An ingenious conclusion", Shizuka praised.
"Heh heh!" Kogorō laughed.
"True. Irene-san, now go examine Mamoru-chan's room for further evidence. Maybe there's something out there that will help us track down the kidnapper", Shizuka's copy said.
"All right", Shizuka said, and went to Mamoru's room.
"The kidnapping caused this mess when he took Mamoru-chan out of here?" Shizuka thought. Then he saw an empty video game box on the floor.
"That's the Onimaru Quest game I heard about earlier today from Genta and Mitsuhiko. This game was only released yesterday. Genta and Mitsuhiko said that in that game, the hero of the game has to be 'brought to life' after the hero's death. The phrase "Brother brings me to life" mentioned in Mamoru-chan's message apparently meant the protagonist of this video game. Could that protagonist be Mamoru-chan?" Shizuka thought about starting the game to see the four characters. "Mamoru, Hideo, Ryoko, and Naoki. To my recollection, Hideo has a teammate named Uemura Naoki, and a friend. Because of that, Naoki may know Mamoru-chan as well, and may have been here to play this game Hideon, Ryoko and with Mamoru-chan. But when we watched the final match on TV recently, Naoki didn't show up in that game. Oh yeah! Mitsuhiko told me earlier today that he had heard that Hideo accidentally broke Naoki's leg in some football practice by kicking Naoki in the leg while trying to kick football on the field while Naoki was standing in front of that football, and that is why Naoki could not participate in football matches for a while. Mitsuhiko even mentioned Naoki as a football player who joined the Tokyo Spirits about a year ago. Mitsuhiko even said this:
"Hideo has reportedly always been more popular than Naoki, even though their football skills are quite similar. Less is becoming jealous, or so it's rumored. Hideo is reportedly getting more and more fan mail and popularity than Naoki. From Naoki's point of view, it's probably annoying". If Hideo once broke Naoki's leg, then maybe Naoki kidnapped Mamoru-chan in revenge, or rather came here to meet Mamorua-chan. Maybe Naoki, who has played this game with Hideo, Ryoko, and Mamoru-chan, told Mamoru-chan to help Mamoru-chan pass this game if Mamoru-chan goes to Naoki's apartment with Naoki. Mamoru-chan might well have agreed without knowing that Naoki had abducted Mamoru-chan at the time to avenge Hideo for breaking Naoki's leg. Genta mentioned that this game is really hard, so Mamoru-chan might well have agreed to Naoki's help to pass this game. Because of his broken leg, Naoki could not have taken Mamoru-chan far from here, so Naoki must live in an apartment near this apartment. To make the situation look like an abduction, Naoki wrote those threat letters previously found by Ryoko, messed up this room, and made traces of tampering on the front door lock. The letter Mamoru-chan wrote to his brother is part of the whole of this case. Perhaps Naoki noticed that Mamoru-chan wrote the text in his letter to his brother, "I went to Naoki to bring my game character to life". That's why Naoki wrote a piece of paper like this "Brother wake me up". Naoki then tore that passage out of the paper on which he wrote its "Brother Wake Me Up" and glued it over the "I went to Naoki to wake up my game hero" post on Mamoru-chan's message, leaving only the word Mamoru-chan wrote. If Naoki has spent time with Mamoru-chan, then Naoki may have learned to imitate Mamoru-chan's handwriting while playing some undercover game where they have written letters, which means Ryoko didn't notice the addition to Mamoru-chan's message to cover the kidnapper a name whose last two letters remained visible as Naoki urgently edited Mamoru-Chan's message to Hideo. That is, the ki-point in that message is the rest of the last two letters of Naoki's first name. The case has been resolved", Shizuka thought with satisfaction, and shut down the game.
"Did you start playing a video game?" Kogorō asked as he entered the room.
"No, but you, and Shizuka-san, were right about your recent conclusions", Shizuka turned off the game. Shizuka then took the lid of the game box he had recently found in his right hand, and stood up.
"In what respect?" Kogorō asked.
"In the sense that the kidnapper was gluing the proof text about himself in a message previously written by Mamoru-chan to his brother, hastily accidentally omitting the ki part of that message written by Mamoru-chan", Shizuka said.
"Of course. Heh heh", Kogorō said. "But why did you just watch that video game?"
"My friend Genta said it was really hard, and I recently noticed thanks to this game that a fourth person has played it with Mamoru-chan, Hideo and Ryoko-san while visiting this apartment. That person might be someone Hideo knows", Shizuka said.
"So you can play that game with four characters", Kogorō said, going to the kitchen with Shizuka.
"That's right", Shizuka said.
"Did you find anything in Mamoru-chan's room, Irene-san?" Shizuka's copy asked after hearing Shizuka's real voice.
"Yes, I found it. I found an empty game box called Onimaru Quest - a game where the hero has to be" brought to life "after the game's hero dies. That game was only released yesterday. After remembering the game, Genta said that the hero of its game must be resurrected after the hero dies, as it recalled the phrase "Brother brings me back to life" written earlier by Mamoru-chan. The protagonist of the game was named after Mamoru Hideo's brother. That game also features Hideo, and Ryoko, as well as Naoki. Genta said this game was really hard", Shizuka said, putting the game box lid on the table.
"So Naoki? Ryoko-san, I've heard that Hideo has a teammate named Uemura Naoki. Is that true?" Shizuka's copy asked.
"Yes. Naoki-san is a football player who joined the Tokyo Spirits about a year ago. He's also a good friend of Hideo-san, and Naoki-san lives right here. We've sometimes played that game of four in this apartment. And Naoki-san has been "here several times playing video games with Mamoru-chan. Hideo, and Naoki-san are often compared", Ryoko said. "Why did you ask that?"
"I'll tell you right away, but I think I know the name of Mamoru-chan's kidnapper. This isn't a real kidnapping. Everything was planned, including the destruction of Mamoru-chan's room. It was supposed to look like the kidnapper was particularly ruthless. It is quite probable that Mamoru-chan knew his abductor, and voluntarily left according to his abductor after the abductor came to Mamoru-chan, and to Hideo's apartment to meet Mamoru-chan. Admittedly, Mamoru-chan did not know the real intentions of the abductor or that Mamoru-chan was abducted at the time because he was a man familiar to the abductor Mamoru-chan. That kidnapper is probably someone familiar to Hideo as well", Shizuka's copy said.
"But what about the messed-up room in Mamoru-chan, and the traces of the lock on the lock on the front door of this apartment?" Ryoko asked.
"It was all just a staging, as were the threatening letters you found earlier in Hideo's apartment. Namely, the kidnapper is trying to intimidate Hideo because the kidnapper is bitter about Hideo somewhere", Shizuka's copy said.
"Where from?" Ran asked.
"About a broken leg that Hideo accidentally caused to a kidnapper of Mamoru-chan in some of his football drills a short time ago", A copy of Shizuka said.
"About his broken leg? You mean...?" Ryoko asked.
"Yes. Mamoru-chan was abducted by Hideo's teammate and friend Uemura Naoki. In those football drills, which is why Hideo's kick at that time hit Naoki's other leg. I remember hearing from a friend of mine that Hideo accidentally broke Naoki's other leg in some of his football practice by kicking Naoki in the leg of that leg when Hideo tried to kick the football on the field in front of Naoki, which is why Hideo's other kick. Due to a broken leg, Naoki can't play football for a while now. Therefore, Naoki will not appear on the pitch now during the final match today. A friend of mine who heard Naoki from a broken leg even said this:
"Hideo-san has reportedly always been more popular than Naoki-san, even though their football skills are pretty much similar. Hideo-san is reportedly getting even more fan mail, and popularity than Naoki-san. From Naoki-san's point of view, it's probably annoying".(I came up with the term Bride's story-manga just mentioned. I do not own the rights to that manga.) I guess Naoki decided to take revenge on Hideo for accidentally breaking Naoki's leg in football practice, so Naoki kidnapped Mamoru-chan because of revenge, or rather Naoki probably told Mamoru-chan to help Mamoru-chan pass the video game Irene-san had just found. Naoki then staged the situation to look like an abduction by messing up Mamoru-chan's room, making traces of patrolling the front door of Hideo's apartment, and sending Hideo the threat letters he had previously found in Hideo's apartment. Naoki probably took Mamoru-chan to Naoki's apartment, because because of his broken leg, Naoki could not have taken Mamoru-chan very far from Hideo, and Mamoru-chan's apartment. So Naoki has to live somewhere near Hideo, and Mamoru-chan's apartment. That's why I just suggested Naoki take Mamoru-chan to Naoki's own apartment. And then Naoki sent Hideo the threat messages you had previously found, with Naoki telling Hideo to make sure the Tokyo Spirits lose the final match. Naoki probably knew Mamoru-chan liked writing letters, so Naoki forced Mamoru-chan to write one letter to his brother. However, before sending that letter to Hideo, Naoki noticed that the letter Naoki forced Mamoru-chan to write to Hideo read:
"I went to Naoki to bring my game character to life". In that letter, Mamoru-chan meant he wanted to bring his game character named Mamoru to life with Naoki. This means that Mamoru-chan voluntarily went with Naoki to Naoki's apartment to play the video game Mamoru-chan just found by Irene-san without knowing that Naoki really wanted revenge on Hideo for accidentally breaking Hideo's leg by kicking Naoki in the leg I mentioned earlier. If Naoki has spent time with Mamoru-chan, then Naoki may have learned to imitate Mamoru-chan's handwriting as they play some secret police game in which they write letters, so Naoki wrote on a separate piece of paper like this:
"Brother wakes me up", which Naoki then ripped from that paper, and pasted that text over the "I went to Naoki to wake up my game character" message in Mamoru-chan's message, leaving only the word Mamoru-chan wrote to life, allowing that word to be part of the whole of this case. However, Naoki accidentally missed the end of his own name written in that letter when he carried out the "kidnapping" of Mamoru-chan in a hurry, as Mōri-san thought. If Naoki can imitate Mamoru-chan's handwriting as I suspect, it explains why you didn't notice the addition to Mamoru-chan's message to Hideo earlier. And if Naoki lives right there, because of his broken leg, he was able to take Mamoru-chan to Naoki's own apartment to help Mamoru-chan figure out the game that Irene-san had just found. That is why I mentioned earlier that Naoki's apartment was near Hideo, and Mamoru-chan's apartment. Just visit Naoki's apartment to check the situation just to be sure. Irene-san, call me later, and let me know if the situation is over", Shizuka's copy said, turning off the phone.
"Let's go check it out right away!" Ran said.
Shizuka turned off the computer, took it with him, and left the apartment with the others.
Ryoko rang the doorbell near the door of Naoki's apartment.
"Yes. Who's there?" Naoki asked through the door phone.
"It's me, Ryoko", Ryoko said.
"Ryoko-chan? What's the matter? I'm a little busy now", Naoki said.
"I have a case for you. Please open the door", Ryoko said.
Naoki opened the door. There was plaster on his right leg, and he was holding an elbow stick in his right hand. Naoki was wearing a purple t-shirt and brown shorts on his legs. On his left leg was a white sock, and a brown slipper.
What's the matter?" Naoki asked, smiling a little.
"Sorry, but to get us inside", Ryoko said after noticing the security chain on the apartment's front door lock was on.
"My girlfriend is at home now, so it doesn't really fit", Naoki said quickly.
"Mamoru-chan! Mamoru-chan, answer me if you're there!" Ryoko shouted unexpectedly, making Naoki look really nervous.
"Hey! Stop it!" Naoki shouted.
"Go aside", Ran told Ryoko.
Everyone looked at Ran.
Surprisingly, Ran kicked the door of Naoki's apartment over Naoki while knocking Naoki's apartment on the floor of the lobby. Even the security chain of Naoki's door broke to pieces. Dhak!
"Mamoru-chan!" Ryoko shouted as she walked with the others to Naoki's apartment to look for Mamoru.
Eventually, the crowd found Mamoru. Mamoru sat on the floor of one room, playing a playston game.
"Ah! Ryoko-neechan!" Mamoru said after seeing Ryoko. Mamoru looked unharmed.
"Mamoru-chan!" Ryoko hugged Mamoru crying. "Stupid! Don't leave your home without saying anything!"
"Eh? I left a letter home, right?" Mamoru asked. "I finally got through that game thanks to the help I got from Naoki-niichan!"
"Huoh! Call Hideo, and tell him Mamoru is okay, Ryoko-san", Shizuka suggested. Shizuka put his computer on a nearby table.
"Sure", Ryoko said, taking his cell phone from his pocket:
"Hideo-kun, we found Mamoru. Mamoru is perfectly fine. I'll tell you everything later".
Ryoko turned off her cell phone and put it in her pocket.
"Mamoru is fine. You were right, Shizuka-san", Shizuka called to her copy, and turned off her phone, putting it in her pocket.
Mamoru stopped playing, and put the television on the football channel watching Hideo play.
"It was indeed the abduction of a child!" Ran, and Kogorō thought with relief that Mamoru was okay.
"Why did Naoki go so far because Hideo accidentally broke Naoki's leg in football practice?!" Ran thought.
"GOAL! 2-1! In the end, Hideo gets a point! Looks like he distorted it in the first half. Truly a genius. This genius is - Akagi Hideo", The finalist said on television.
"Pfft? Genius, isn't it?!" Naoki said, walking to the scene, and then sitting on the floor:
"It's always been that way. Hideo is a genius, and I'm hardworking. Hideo's popularity and salary are higher than my popularity, and my salary. Our goal is the same, and it is almost the same in high school. Hideo always gets even more fan mail, and popularity than I do, because even though our football skills are pretty similar, Hideo has still always been more popular than me. The fact that Hideo has always been more popular than me is precisely because of Hideo's star player position on our football team. Frankly, I just miss Hideo. That's why I practiced so hard every day. To become better than Hideo, and to finally get out of the shadow of Hideo, for I have always been in the shadow of Hideo as he is always more popular than me. Because of the star player on our team, Hideo, hardly anyone has noticed what I can do. Because of his star player status, he has always been more popular than me. I have practiced much more than Hideo. Then I have to be as good as he is. No. I have to be even better than Hideo to get out of the shadow of Hideo so that there would always be an eternal second! Well, I succeeded until Hideo intentionally broke my leg during a football game we were having recently. Properly. Hideo then targeted my foot on purpose because he was afraid I might surpass him in our football skills! Thanks to her I can't use my feet properly for 3 months. With a foot like this, I don't think I'll be back to playing football anymore. However, I didn't plan to hurt Mamoru because of Hideo's previous act. When the game was over, I planned to send Mamoru back home, and I would have left Tokyo for a while. I just wanted to get another chance to play football with Hideo. Like I said, I wasn't going to kill Mamoru. I just wanted to teach Hideo a lesson. I practiced night and day after hearing that I could get to play in the Tokyo Spirits. I was once really close to crossing Hideo in my skills. Hideo was afraid at the time that I would surpass him in our football skills, as I said. Yes! He didn't even try to kick the football on the field in some of our football rehearsals we recently held, but deliberately broke my leg by kicking me in the leg while I was standing in front of that football then! Hideo did it to stop me from playing football! That's why I brought Mamoru here, and I staged the situation to look like an abduction. I told Mamoru when I brought him here to help Mamoru figure out a video game we've sometimes played together at Hideo's and Mamoru's home. I kidnapped Mamoru because I wanted to show Hideo that even geniuses can't always do what they want. I wanted to make my feelings clear to someone who has always been preferred over me. Hideo always gets the best. He's the type. I've had to suffer from it, but he hasn't even noticed it. He caused me suffering by breaking my leg during football practice, so I decided to cause him suffering by intimidating him by bringing Mamoru here to play a video game.(I got a little inspiration for this from the Magic Chocolate Shop manga. I don't own the rights to that manga.) Take a look at Hideo. He is still more popular than me. He's making fun of me. Because of him, no one seemed to even notice I was missing from that playing field now".
"You still went too far in capturing Mamoru-chan! You just wanted to avenge Hideo for breaking Hideo's leg earlier! Do you realize how much Hideo and Ryoko-san have been worried about Mamoru-chan?!" Ran shouted at Naoki. "They really thought Mamoru-chan's kidnapper would kill Mamoru-chan if the Tokyo Spirits won the final!"
"The game is over!" The journalist describing the game announced. "3-1 ... Tokyo Spirits have won the Sunday Cup".
"Yeah! Yeah!" Mamoru shouted in delight.
"The game is over for me too", Naoki said. "Well Ryoko-chan, call the cops. Tell them there's a kidnapper here".
"I'll call the cops soon", Kogorō said as everyone looked at Naoki.
"Congratulations, Hideo. Who would you like to own this victory for?" The journalist interviewing Hideo asked.
"Well let's see...Well, I'd like to own it for my little brother Mamoru, but it's going to Naoki. To my final competitor, Uemura Naoki. If he were here now, we would have gotten more points. Hurry up and come back, Naoki, I'm always waiting on the field", Hideo said on television.
"What an idiot. He doesn't even know I did this. What a big idiot", Naoki cried in surprise, covering his eyes with both hands.
"So that breaking Naoki's foot was really just an injury, even though Naoki thinks it's an intentional act. On the other hand, I understand Naoki's feelings a little, because I'm a little envious of a friend of mine", Shizuka thought, looking at Ran. "I still wouldn't go as far as Naoki went because of his own envy. Maybe Naoki realized he had gone too far by capturing Mamoru after hearing Hideo's recent words".
Naoki was still crying.
"Naoki cried because of the situation caused by her mistake while wrinkling in self-pity.(I got a little inspiration for that from ERASED manga. I don't own the rights to that manga.) The mistake, the popularity of the friend, and the envy of the friend eventually drove Naoki to seek revenge", Shizuka thought.
(On the next day)
"What?! The police only released Naoki with a serious warning, even though Naoki kidnapped Hideo's brother yesterday?!" Ran asked, sitting on the couch in his father's study.
"Yes. After hearing everything from me, Hideo appealed to the police, and they agreed to let Naoki only with a serious warning", Ryoko said. "Police said they would take Naoki on parole if Naoki still does that".
"Naoki still went too far", Shizuka said.
"Indeed, because we thought Mamoru was really in danger yesterday", Kogor said. He had asked police the day before to come to Naoki's apartment to interrogate Naoki about the abduction of Mamoru.
"Well, did Hideo and Naoki find out after Naoki's interrogations?" Shizuka asked.
"Yes. Hideo had reportedly had no idea that Naoki had envied Hideo all this time. I hadn't noticed it either", Ryoko said.
"Hopefully Naoki will no longer frighten others the way he did yesterday when he abducted Mamoru-chan", Shizuka said.
"Naoki-san said he learned a lesson and won't make such intimidations anymore", Ryoko said.
"Good", Ran said.
"By the way, I also heard from a friend a while ago that Hideo has indeed always been more popular than Naoki. Even less becomes jealous. The fact that Hideo has always been more popular than Naoki has probably been really annoying from Naoki's point of view", Shizuka said.
