Chapter 8: Collect 'Em All
A Native family pulled up to a gas station in a shiny RV on their family vacation. "Junior, you get the franks, we'll get the beans. Let's make our eighth campout and eighth night something really special." The father said as he and his wife walked towards the store. However, the son was not entirely happy with the arrangements of this family vacation. "Save me. Hashtag: Family Vacation." He mumbled with a disgusted groan. Suddenly, there was a loud shriek as a large shadow loomed over him. Just then, something landed on the RV. The parents turned around and became shocked. It was a giant metal crow bearing a Decepticon insignia. It shrieked again as it took off into the air, taking the RV with it. The parents were horrified by this, but the son was thrilled as he texted on his phone. "Sleeping in motel tonight! Hashtag: Awesome!" He cheered.
(Intro) (Team Bee updated with Cinderray)
Later, Team Bee split into 2 teams as they picked up the Decepticon's signal. Bumblebee, Arcee, Grimlock and Cinderray were on one team while Strongarm, Sideswipe, Gears and Mirage were on the other. "This is Bumblebee, Arcee, Grimlock and Cinderray. No sign of the fugitive." Bumblebee reported on his com-link.
"Beta team, leaving Sector 8 to Sector 9. 0 contact, optical or auditory." Strongarm reported. "Uh…what did she say?" Mirage asked. "What Strongarm's trying to say is we got zotz." Gears groaned. "What I'm doing is using language appropriate for Cybertronian law enforcers on duty which Bee, Arcee, you and I are, Gears. Something I think you've all forgotten!" Strongarm exclaimed before speeding ahead. "Who's been putting shrapnel in her intake valve lately?" Sideswipe asked. "I don't know. She's been like this for days now. It's really getting on my nerves." Gears said.
Meanwhile, Fixit, Denny, Katie, Russell and the Nebula Rangers were trying to locate the Decepticon's signal on the scanner. "Our Decepticon signal keeps flopping-*glitch*-copping-*glitch*-dropping out." Fixit said, shaking off another glitch. Just then, the signal appeared again. "Oh, wait! It's back. And on the move."
Just then, the Decepticon's shadow flew right over Strongarm. "Alpha Team, direct contact!" Strongarm reported. "Quickly! After it!" Sideswipe exclaimed. "It's party time!" Mirage cheered. "Mirage, this is not a party, it's a pursuit. Regulation 134, section 2, an officer shall not initiate a high speed chase without-" Strongarm tried to explain. "Strongarm, no offence, but do you wanna follow rules or the bad bot?" Sideswipe asked. "On Cybertron, we did both." Strongarm said. "I never did." Gears said. "What?!" Strongarm exclaimed. The Decepticon landed on top of one of the telephone towers, eyeing one of its fuses as it shined in the sun. The Autobots transformed as they caught up to it. "So, know any rules for getting that thing down?" Gears asked sarcastically. "Careful. That 'thing' is not a Decepticon to be taken lightly." Mirage said. "Why?" Sideswipe asked. Just then, the Decepticon turned its attention away from the fuse and eyed the Autobots as the sun shined on their armors. "Shiny." The Decepticon said with a shriek-y female voice before she took off from the telephone tower and swooped down towards the Autobots.
Meanwhile, back at the Scrapyard, the bell at the front gate rang. "The front gate! Please let it be someone wanting to sell a pristine 8-track player." Denny said with hope as he headed for the front gate. "Really bent up on that one, isn't he?" Nalu asked. "Don't blame him. He's been hoping for one for a couple years." Katie said before following her husband. "Mayday! Officers under attack!" Strongarm called through the com-link. "Bumblebee, Arcee, did you hear that?" Fixit asked.
"We'll be there, stat." Bumblebee said as he, Arcee and Cinderray sped up while Grimlock tried to keep up.
Denny pressed the button and opened the front gate. A man in a plaid shirt was standing there. "Denny." He greeted. Denny and Katie were shocked, quickly turning to a glare, and proceeded to shut the front gate. "Whoa! It's me, Larry LaRue." The man, Larry, said as he stopped the gate. "Hello, Larry. What do you want?" Denny asked rudely. "Well, I'm out of the collecting biz and hosting a reality TV show. Scrapmeisters. I search through people's junk for hidden treasure. And I thought who has more junk than Denny Clay." Larry explained. "Actually, for your information, Larry, it's vintage memorabilia for the discriminating nostalgic." Katie said rudely. Larry glared at her for a minute. "I see you still haven't learned to keep your wife on her leash." He said. Katie's left eye twitched in anger upon hearing that, clutching her fist. "You wanna put my dad on TV?" Russell asked, not hearing the part about the leash. "You betcha, little man. Your dad's scrapyard is legendary. Maybe I'll even buy something for old time's sake. Because I'm dy- My audience is dying to know what is in your collection, Scrapmeister Denny?" Larry asked, filming Denny with his video camera. "Well, there's our magical closing gate." Denny said. Just then, Katie grabbed Larry and threw him out through the gate. "Good seeing you again, Larry." Denny said as he closed the gate. "Put me on a leash, will you?" Katie grumbled as she dusted off her hands. Russell watched his parents leave in confusion.
Meanwhile, Strongarm, Sideswipe, Gears and Mirage prepared to draw their weapons as the Decepticon swooped in and got ready to attack. "Sideswipe, look out!" Mirage exclaimed. Too late. The Decepticon slammed her foot on Sideswipe, knocking the others down as she trapped him under her talons. "Polly wants to crack me!" Sideswipe cried. "Hold on, bro! We got ya!" Mirage exclaimed as she and Gears ran to help Sideswipe, but the Decepticon swatted them with her wing, knocking them down. "Oh, scrap!" Sideswipe cried. As the Decepticon prepared to sink her free talons into him, Strongarm started blasting her. "Wings up, Con!" She exclaimed, taking aim at the Decepticon. But then, she started scratching her mid-section. With the distraction, the Decepticon swatted the blaster out of Strongarm's hand and pinned her down under her free foot. "Scrap!" Strongarm and Sideswipe cried before the Decepticon started taking off.
Luckily, the others arrived just in time. Bumblebee and Arcee transformed, leapt up and kicked the Decepticon, much to her surprise, making her drop Strongarm and Sideswipe. "Who needs punching?!" Grimlock exclaimed as the team regrouped. "Time to go back to your cage." Bumblebee said as he and Arcee drew their blasters. But the Decepticon recovered and shrieked at the Autobots before taking off again. Just then, her attention was drawn to another fuse shining from the sun on one of the telephone towers. "Shiny!" She shrieked. She landed on the tower and began trying to pull the fuse free. Team Bee rushed over as Bumblebee started climbing the tower. But the Decepticon pulled the fuse free and took off as the wires hit Bumblebee, electrocuting him and making him fall. "Bee!" Cinderray cried. "I got him, I got him." Grimlock said, preparing to catch Bumblebee. But Bumblebee landed in front of the team. "I don't got him." Grimlock said in shame. The team helped Bumblebee recover as they watched the Decepticon fly away. Strongarm scratched her shoulder as she glared.
Meanwhile, back at the scrapyard, Denny, Katie and Russell returned to the command center. "Why did you tell that guy you wouldn't be on his TV show? Don't you want to be a star?" Russell asked. "Pardon the interruption, but I'm confused. How would appearing on television induce stellar fusion?" Fixit asked. Denny, Katie and Russell looked at each other in confusion. "I mean, how would it make Denny a star?" Fixit asked. "Son, I collect this stuff because I love it. I don't have a burden to be rich and famous like Larry LaRue does." Denny explained. "That and we have Autobots to hide." Katie said as the Autobots returned and transformed. "We lost the fugitive. Anything on the scanners?" Bumblebee asked. Fixit and the Nebula Rangers checked the scanners. "Nothing within scanning visual, Bee." Liana said. "Let's see the mugshots. Flyers only." Strongarm said. Fixit pulled up the Alchemor's manifest and pulled up a file of a crow Decepticon named Filch. "That's our fowl." Sideswipe said. "Filch. Compulsive thief." Bumblebee said, reading the file. "I'm familiar with Filch and her line of work. She has the greedy obsession with stealing shiny objects." Mirage said. "Does it say future punch taker? Because she's gonna be there too." Grimlock said. "Don't underestimate her, Grim. She's as tough as she is greedy." Mirage said. "Seems she's been stealing everything from water tanks to railway switches and radar domes." Fixit said. "And endangering humans." Bumblebee said. "Mirage, you have any idea why Filch would be stealing all that stuff?" Arcee asked. "Just one. Crow Decepticons sometimes tend to use the shiny objects to build their nests on very high points." Mirage explained. "So, she must be building a nest somewhere." Gears deduced. "Filch would already be in custody if Sideswipe, Gears and Mirage hadn't broken Regulation 134, Section 2." Strongarm said as she scratched herself and pulled up her regulation's manual again. "Okay, Strongarm, you've become a total freak about all your rules these past few cycles. Why don't you tone it down a little?" Sideswipe tried to ask politely. "Sideswipe, we won't make any real progress here until we all go by the book." Strongarm said before walking away. "Ugh! I've had it with your obsession with rules, Strongarm! You are just a complete rule-following Botworm!" Gears exclaimed. Strongarm gasped at that, turned around and punched Gears hard in the face, knocking him down before stomping off. "Ow! So touchy!" Gears grumbled, wiping Energon from his mouth. Bumblebee, Arcee and Cinderray watched with concern as Strongarm left.
Later, Strongarm sat on top of the diner sign, looking over her regulations and protocols. She scratched her thigh, showing that it was starting to grow hives. "Those your old citation logs from Cybertron?" Bumblebee asked as he, Arcee and Cinderray came up. "Public rustiness and decent transformation. You really are rule-crazy." Arcee said. "Feeling homesick, cadet?" Bumblebee asked as they sat down to join Strongarm. "Just…studying procedure, sir. Continuing my education. Unlike Gears." Strongarm said. "Huh. You know, when Arcee and I first came to Earth, we missed Cybertron something awful. Got a case of alloy hives. Felt like I had tin flake under my armor." Bumblebee explained. "It's true. He scratched at those hives for days." Arcee said. "Cybertron was the only home I've ever known. I knew how things worked there. I wasn't sure I'd ever feel comfortable here." Bumblebee explained. "And he's not alone. When I lost Cliffjumper after coming to Earth, I swore I'd never find another partner. I always seemed to have a habit of losing them to the enemies. Especially after…Tailgate." Arcee explained. "And I feel for you, Strongarm. I had this friend back in my old home. Gabriel. He was always the smarty-pants of the group. Always using the big talk like Fixit does." Cinderray explained. "How…How did you all get past those?" Strongarm asked. "I decided to think of being on Earth as a game with new rules to figure out. Took a while, but it got easier. Especially, when I opened up to it." Bumblebee explained. "And when I met Jack, he reopened my eyes to how important having someone watch your back was. It took a while, but he became more than my partner that day. He became the best friend I never had." Arcee explained. "And I taught Gabe that having smarts doesn't always make things better. It's having friends who are willing to listen that make it better." Cinderray explained. Strongarm put all this to thought.
Meanwhile, outside Crown City, Filch stood at the top of a statue of a guardian angel, known as the Crown City Colossus, where she decided to make her nest. She leapt off the torch in the statue's hand, transformed and flew off, shrieking.
Just as this happened, Fixit picked up Filch's signal. "Filch is on the move." He reported. "Strongarm, Sideswipe, Gears, Mirage and Cinderray, let's go. You too, Denny. We may need you to help with civilians." Bumblebee explained. "Sweet! I got my go-bag of disguises ready." Denny said, bringing up a suitcase. "Jack, Miko, Mariposa, Dominick, Nalu and Annika, you're coming too." Arcee said. "Sweet!" Miko cheered. Just then, Grimlock transformed. "Let's RUMBLE!" He roared. "Not this time, Grim. We'll be close to downtown and you don't-" Bumblebee tried to say. "No! No! I've been working on looking like an Earth-based vehicle." Grimlock said, getting behind some stuff. "Just hang on. One second. Almost done." Just then, he came out with 4 tires attached to his arms and legs, and a front-end bumper strapped around his neck. "I'm a truck. Vroom, vroom! Honk-honk! Hehe!" He chuckled as he tried to act like an Earth car. "Right? Yeah?" He asked with hope. Bumblebee just shook his head in amusement. "Oh, come on!" Grimlock complained as his disguise fell off.
Later, the team drove towards Crown City, avoiding incoming cars. "Whoa! Everyone's sure leaving in a hurry." Dominick said. "Look!" Strongarm exclaimed. Everyone saw Filch by the bridge. She was tugging at one of the bridge's support beams. "She's trying to pull out that support beam under the bridge!" Jack exclaimed. The team reached the bridge as Bumblebee transformed. "Quick, before she-" He tried to say, but too late. Filch ripped off the support beam. As the Nebula Rangers changed into their hero suits, they and the other Bots joined Bumblebee as Filch dived to attack.
Filch shrieked as she flew over the team. "That stays here!" Bumblebee exclaimed as he and Arcee leapt up, grabbed the support beam and hooked their feet onto the railing, preventing Filch from flying away. Suddenly, the street started cracking and the wires began snapping off. "Stabilize the bridge!" Bumblebee ordered. Sideswipe, Gears, Mirage and Cinderray took off as ordered, but Strongarm brought up her manual again. "Disaster protocols that if more than one officer is on the scene-" She tried to say. "Write us up later, Strongarm! Go!" Arcee ordered. Strongarm scratched her shoulder before following the others. "Dominick, you help the Bots stabilize the bridge! We'll help Bee and Arcee!" Jack ordered. "On it, Captain!" Dominick exclaimed as he followed the Bots. "Denny, don't let anybody back onto the bridge!" Bumblebee exclaimed. "On it." Denny said. He set down his suitcase and looked through his disguises until he found an old British army pith helmet.
Strongarm, Sideswipe, Gears, Mirage and Cinderray, after splitting in 2, held up the bridge on both sides. Dominick stood in the middle and summoned his earth pillars to help hold up the bridge. "How do we fix this?! Rules call for repair as soon as-" Strongarm tried to say. "Don't worry about rules right now, Strongarm! Just brace the bridge!" Sideswipe exclaimed. Strongarm struggled as she helped brace the bridge.
As Bumblebee and Arcee continued hanging onto Filch, Mariposa threw a couple of her mana whips at Filch's ankles. Together, they started pulling Filch back. Nalu and Annika fired their water jets and ice beams, trying to wet Filch's wings and freeze them. But the flapping of her wings was too powerful and too hot, shaking off the ice and melting it. "MINE! MINE! MINE!" She shrieked, determined to have the support beam. "That's it! Miko, let's blast and smash." Jack said. "Oh, it's on now, bird brain!" Miko exclaimed as she leapt onto Filch's face and started punching her with chi-powered punches. Jack aided her by blasting Filch with his cosmic blasts.
Just then, a police car drove up. "LOOK OUT!" Denny exclaimed as he ran up to the car. "Hi, officer." He greeted. "What the heck is going on here?" The officer asked. "Nevada Flieber from the Witchaholma County Exotic Bird Park opening next May. Could you set up a temporary roadblock?" Denny asked. "A roadblock? Why in the name of San Hill do we need a roadblock?" The officer asked. "One of our larger specimens got loose. Our high-tech robot keepers and the Nebula Rangers will recapture it and take care of the bridge." Denny explained, gesturing to the struggle happening on the bridge. "One roadblock coming up!" The officer exclaimed as he backed his car up and drove off. "MINE! MINE!" Filch shrieked as she continued to struggle against her enemies.
Meanwhile, back at the scrapyard, Grimlock rushed over to the command center. "Katie, Russell, do customers usually come in over the walls if the gate's not open?" He asked. "Only if they're shady." Russell said. "Okay. Then I think you have a shady customer." Grimlock said. Russell, Fixit, Raf and the remaining Gonzalez siblings looked at each other in surprise. But Katie glared as she could only guess who would be shady enough to come into her husband's scrapyard over the walls. Larry LaRue climbed over the wall with his video camera and proceeded into the scrapyard. Everyone saw the whole thing through the security cameras. "I knew it." Katie muttered, clearly not happy to see Larry in her beloved husband's scrapyard. "It's that TV guy. Maybe we should let him film here." Russell said. "Russell, no." Katie sternly said. "Katie's right. I don't think your dad would behoof-*glitch*-remove-*glitch*-approve!" Fixit said, glitching again. "Fixit's right. What if they see the Alchemor? Or Grimlock? Or even him?" Henry asked. "Of course, if anybody's going to see me, I should be detailed first." Fixit said. "Being on TV could mean more business for the scrapyard. Then maybe Dad would sell some stuff and we could move out of here and into Crown City." Russell said. "Russell, do you not listen to anything your father and I tell you?!" Katie snapped, scaring Russell, Fixit and Grimlock.
"Whoa! Bring a gun to a knife fight." Teresa said. "Yeah. Why do you and Denny have it out for this guy so bad, Mrs. Clay?" Shawn asked. Katie sighed, knowing that she had to tell them. "Okay. It all started when Denny and I were younger." She started to explain.
[Flashback]
A younger Denny and a younger Katie were walking along the street with their arms linked. "We had just started dating for about a month. Denny was a carefree collector with me by his side." They were in a store as Denny purchased a rare vintage early telephone made by Alexander Graham Bell himself. "But then, during the day of our anniversary, Larry butted into Denny's business as usual." One day, during their anniversary, as Denny was looking for a perfect gift for Katie, Larry came in and tried to purchase it for himself with a bigger amount of money. Just then, he set his eyes on Katie. "As soon as he set eyes on me, he tried to put his 'moves' on me." Larry got really close to Katie and made flirting faces at her. "Of course, I refused. But then he tried to drag me off, not taking no for an answer." Just then, as Katie scoffed and brushed him off, Larry roughly grabbed her arm and tried to drag her away. "That was his last mistake." Katie stomped on Larry's foot, punched him in the nose, kicked him in the groin and threw him into the street just as a policeman showed up. Denny and Katie told the officer exactly what happened as another officer forced Larry into the car.
[Flashback End]
"He served 14 months in jail for abusing a woman. And that was the last we ever heard from him. Until now." Katie explained as she finished the story. Russell, Raf, Fixit, Grimlock and the Gonzalez siblings were in awe at this story. "And if I know Larry LaRue, he'll be looking for something in the scrapyard." Katie said. "Then we've got to get rid of him." Henry said. "Alright. Now, Russell, I'll need you to distract him while we lockdown this area and make sure Grimlock and Fixit stay out of sight." Katie said. "On it, Mom." Russell said as he took off towards Larry. "But if he tries anything, dino destruction double drop!" Grimlock exclaimed. But as Fixit was watching the security footage, his focus was set on Larry's video camera. "That's the device that induces stellar fusion?" He asked.
As Larry was sneaking around, he saw Russell walk up to him, much to his surprise. "Oh! Hey, little man. Are your parents around?" He asked. "Nah, they went out. I'm handling customers and TV interviews while they're away. I'm Russell." Russell explained. "TV?" Larry asked, forgetting his camera for a second. "Oh, right. Terrific. Russell, what can you tell us about the scrap-tastic collection here at Rusty Acres?" He asked, filming Russell. "It's enormous, but it's not for sale." Russell said. "Cut! You're a natural. That's all we need from you. Just gonna poke around, get some background video for the piece." Larry said, obviously not hearing the 'not for sale' part as he walked away. "Hey! You can't just go off without a guide!" Russell exclaimed as he went after him
Meanwhile, back on the bridge, Denny ran up to the strugglers. "Bee! Arcee! The bridge is clear! If anyone asks, you're both zookeepers!" He exclaimed. Just then, Filch saw the sun shine off his pith helmet. "Shiny." She said. "DENNY, RUN!" Mariposa exclaimed. Too late. Filch turned towards Denny, making Bumblebee, Arcee, Miko and Mariposa fall into the bay. "Denny!" Jack cried as he, Nalu and Annika tried to help. But Filch flapped her wings hard, blowing them into the bay. "No, no, no, NO!" Denny cried as Filch grabbed him in her beak. Bumblebee, Arcee and the 5 Nebula Rangers climbed back onto the bridge, only to see Filch fly off with the support beam and Denny. "Scrud!" Bumblebee exclaimed.
Meanwhile, back at the scrapyard, Bumblebee called Grimlock on his com-link. "Grimlock! We need you!" He exclaimed. "Say it again. Slower." Grimlock said. "JUST GET OVER HERE, GRIMLOCK!" Arcee exclaimed loudly. Grimlock transformed and prepared to leave. "Wait. Can't just roar out of here with a shady human running around the scrapyard." He said, remembering Larry sneaking around.
Meanwhile, as Larry continued filming, he set his eyes on something extraordinary. "Wow! A Select-a-Soda 68! I never seen one up close before." He said as he filmed it. Grimlock tried to sneak past with his vehicle disguise. But then Larry turned, forcing him to freeze. "What is that?!" Larry asked. Russell turned and gasped at Grimlock, who tried his best to stay still.
Meanwhile, Denny woke up in a strange pile of shiny metal objects. "How'd I get back to the scrapyard?" He asked. He got up, looked over the edge and gasped as he realized that he was in the torch of the Crown City Colossus! He turned around, only to bump into something and fall on his back. He looked up and saw Filch. "Not shiny!" Filch shrieked, disliking Denny's non-shiny appearance. Denny grew worried about what she was going to do with him.
"Listen, I'm a collector just like you. You like shiny stuff, right? I know where there's a whole bunch of shiny stuff." Denny said. "Shiny?" Filch asked with interest. Denny climbed up the pile to show her. "Straight out that way. Big old recycling plant." He said, gesturing to a glint of light that caught Filch's eyes. "Shiny." Filch said. "Don't worry about me. I'll take good care of your treasures while you're gone." Denny said. "Shiny!" Filch exclaimed before taking off. When she was gone, Denny got out his cell phone. But there was a problem. The phone's battery was dead. "Really? Dead battery? Shouldn't have played so much Sudoku! Gotta be something here I can grab some juice from." He said as he started looking through Filch's treasures.
Meanwhile, back at the scrapyard, Russell was trying to think of a lie. "What's that? It's, uh…" He started to say. "It's my life-size, remote-control Neolith truck toy." Teresa said as she suddenly rushed up. "Oh, yeah. That's it. You never seen one?" Russell asked. Grimlock made motor noises to play along with the lie. "Seen one? I own 3." Larry said as he set down his camera and walked towards Grimlock. "Then you should know that the activator sensors can get a little wonky. Let me shut it down" Teresa said, making button noises to pretend to shut Grimlock down. "Who is this weirdo chick?" Larry asked rudely. "Oh, this is Teresa. She's…one of my dad's…regular customers." Russell lied. Suddenly, Fixit rolled up and took the camera to examine it. "There's no way this induces stellar fusion. There's no neutron ignitor." He said. Unknown to him, the camera was actually recording him! Russell and Teresa turned and gasped in shock at what Fixit was doing. "Fixit!" They said while clearing their throats. Fixit quickly dropped the camera and took off before Larry turned around to get it. "Bee and Arcee need me." Grimlock whispered. "Go before LaRue gets interested again." Russell whispered. Grimlock quietly moves and managed to leave the scrapyard without Larry noticing.
As Larry inspected his camera, Russell ran back up to him. "Whatever you do, don't waste your time going that way. That's the stuff my dad will never sell." He lied. Larry grew more curious and walked away. As Fixit rolled up to Russell and Teresa, Katie, Raf and the other Gonzalez siblings ran up to them. "What happened? We turned our backs for a minute to lock down the command center, and then Grimlock and Fixit were gone." Raf said. "Grimlock had to go help Bee and the others. But Fixit just recorded a video of himself on LaRue's camera!" Russell exclaimed. "You did WHAT?!" Katie, Raf and the Gonzalez siblings exclaimed quietly in shock. "Scrap! Did I get my good side?" Fixit asked. Shawn fueled his hand with fire and smacked Fixit in the head. "We gotta delete that footage before LaRue thinks to post it." Katie said. "Leave that to me." Brook said, sparking his hand with electricity.
Meanwhile, back at the bridge, Team Bee and Dominick continued holding up the bridge as best as they could. But it was still preparing to collapse. Bumblebee, Arcee and the other Nebula Rangers hurried over to help. As Bumblebee, Arcee, Jack and Miko helped hold up the bridge, Mariposa helped hold it with a mana platform and Annika froze most of the cracks. But it wasn't enough. "Everyone okay?" Bumblebee asked. "Other than ignoring every disaster protocol ever written, we're great!" Strongarm exclaimed.
Meanwhile, Grimlock was riding his trailer down the street towards the bridge. When he got there, he quickly hid in the bushes as he saw that the roadblock Denny had made was starting a small traffic jam. He quickly rolled on his tires in the ditch, careful to avoid being spotted, and reached the team when they were about to give out. "Someone call about a bridge?" He asked before taking over holding up the bridge. "I could do this all day." "We don't have all day, team. And neither does Denny." Bumblebee said.
Meanwhile, Larry continued to film the scrapyard with Russell, Katie, Raf and the Gonzalez siblings tailing him. "As soon as he puts his camera down, I'll use my electric powers to delete the footage and switch it with something else." Brook whispered. Just then, Russell's phone rang. He answered it, knowing that it was Denny. "How's it going out there?" He asked. "Let's just say…I need a ride." Denny said. "Dad, I'm so sorry. That LaRue guy snuck in here, and Mom told me everything, and now there's footage of Fixit on his camera." Russell explained. "Calm down, kiddo. I can tell you guys already have a plan for that. Right now, I need to get a message to Bumblebee." Denny said. "Mr. LaRue, I need to-" Russell tried to say, but Larry disappeared. "I'll find him. I can track his camera's electricity. Go send Denny's message." Brook said.
Meanwhile, after receiving Denny's message from Fixit, Team Bee headed towards the Colossus. Denny waved them down from the torch. "There's Denny. Just like Fixit said." Bumblebee said. "Grimlock, how are you and Dominick holding up?" Arcee asked through the com-link as they turned towards the Colossus.
"Awesomely. We are literally holding up awesomely." Grimlock said as he and Dominick continued holding up the bridge as the traffic started driving over them. "Slightly less awesomely now." He said, getting a strain in his arms. "Hurry up, guys! We won't be able to last much longer!" Dominick exclaimed as his earth pillars slowly started to give off.
The team stared up at the Colossus. "Race you to the top!" Bumblebee exclaimed as he ran towards the Colossus. "Oh, it's on, Bee!" Arcee exclaimed as she followed. "You better write them up, Strongarm! They're cheating!" Sideswipe joked as he, Gears, Mirage and Cinderray, who merged back into an Autocon, followed. "You are all violating section-" Strongarm tried to say, snarling in frustration as she scratched her shoulder again before following. "We'll stay below and keep an eye out for Filch!" Jack called. As the team started climbing up the Colossus, Sideswipe leapt ahead of them. "Just passing through." He said innocently. But then, Filch flew back from Denny's distraction and dove in to attack. "SECURE DENNY!" Bumblebee exclaimed before Filch knocked him and Arcee off the Colossus. "Lieutenants!" Strongarm cried. Filch pinned Bumblebee and Arcee under her feet. "Get off them!" Jack exclaimed, firing cosmic blasts at Filch while Mariposa fired mana blasts, Nalu fired water blasts and Annika fired ice blasts. Filch blocked the blasts with her wing. As Miko came charging in with her fists fueled with chi, Filch flapped her wings and blew them into the bay. Bumblebee and Arcee tried getting up, but Filch pinned them down tightly. "Mine." She snarled.
Meanwhile, back at the scrapyard, Larry continued filming Denny's collection until he spotted an old dial-up phone box. "Mmm. Mine." He said as greedily as Filch did. As he set the camera down to grab the phone box, Brook snuck up behind him and grabbed the camera. "Alright, LaRue, let's see how your viewers like this." Brook said, zapping the camera with his electricity.
Meanwhile, back at the Colossus, Bumblebee and Arcee managed to knock Filch off them, but she kept attacking them. "Bumblebee! Arcee! They need help!" Cinderray said with worry. "Cinderray, Regulation 1, Section 3 states that a junior officer shall never disobey a direct order from a senior officer." Strongarm said. "Well, I don't care. I know when to help my friends when they're in trouble. Even if it means breaking a few rules." Cinderray said before going in to help. As Bumblebee and Arcee were knocked down, before Filch could strike at them, Cinderray's 2 halves grabbed her by the wings. "Leave them alone!" Autobot Cinderray exclaimed. "You come along quietly or we'll clip your wings!" Decepticon Cinderray exclaimed. Filch shrieked as she struggled against the 2 Autocon halves. Strongarm scratched her shoulder as she looked between the scenes. Sideswipe, Gears and Mirage were halfway to the torch. Strongarm decided to go against the regulations and leapt towards the fight with a shout. "Watch the birdy!" She exclaimed as she punched Filch.
Sideswipe, Gears and Mirage watched the fight as they nearly reached the torch. "Well, look at that. Strongarm actually went against a regulation." Mirage said. "I will never understand her." Gears grumbled as he continued climbing with Mirage following. Sideswipe continued to watch for a bit. "I'm proud of you, Strongarm." He said quietly before following. As the Autobots reached the top of the torch, they looked at the nest Filch made. "Ooh, shiny." Sideswipe joked. "Funny." Denny said, unamused.
As Nalu helped his fellow Nebula Rangers get back on land, the Autobots were struggling with Filch until she managed to throw them off of her. "LOOK OUT BELOW!" Sideswipe called as he threw the support beam at Filch, hitting her hard and knocking her out. "Whoa! Right on target! Boo-yah!" Miko cheered. "You guys take Filch and Denny back to the scrapyard. Arcee, Jack and I will get this to Grimlock and Dominick." Bumblebee said, holding the support beam.
Meanwhile, Grimlock and Dominick were beginning to wear out from holding up the bridge for so long. "It's no good! We're not gonna make it, Grim!" Dominick exclaimed during his struggled. "So, how's your day been going?" Bumblebee's voice asked. Grimlock and Dominick turned to see him with the support beam.
Later, Bumblebee, Arcee, Jack and Denny returned to the scrapyard, just as Larry walked up to Katie, Russell, Raf and the other Gonzalez siblings with a cart full of Denny's things. Denny glared at Larry as he got out of Bumblebee. "Oh, Denny, the treasures you have. I've found things I've been after for years. Sell them to me now or else I'll air my footage and every collector in the country will be knocking down your door." Larry threatened. Denny continued glaring at him as the rest of Team Bee snuck in with Filch in tow. "Actually…you can forget it, Larry." He said when he saw Brook wink at him. "Very well then. It's your funeral, Denny." Larry said as he pushed a button of the camera, posting his video. Denny just grinned. "What are you smiling at?" Larry asked confusingly. Just then, his phone rang. He brought it out and answered it. "Larry LaRue here. Oh, Mr. Director, sir. To what do I owe this pleasure?" He asked. Suddenly, there was a loud muffle on the phone. "What? But, sir, I don't understand." Larry said with concern. "But you can't do this! I-" He tried to say, but then he was hung up on. "What. Did you. Do?!" Larry demanded. "Oh, nothing much. Just replaced all the footage you recorded with something very embarrassing." Brook said. Larry was shocked to hear that. "And from what it sounded like from your phone, your little reality show just got canceled." Denny said. "Well, I may not have a show anymore, but I can still take these! They're mine! Mine, mine, mine, mine!" Larry exclaimed as he attempted to take the stuff he attempted to buy.
Suddenly, a police car pulled up to the scrapyard. "Oh, now we got cops?! What is happening here?!" Larry exclaimed as a couple of officers got out of their car and walked up to everyone. "Larry LaRue, you're being placed under arrest." One of the officers said. "U-! Under arrest?! For what?!" Larry demanded. "You just violated a restraining order placed upon you." The second officer said. "What?! There's obviously a mistake. Nobody signed me to a restraining order." Larry said. "Wrong. Remember the day you assaulted me? After you were sent to jail, Denny and I ordered a restraining order placed on you. I was clearly sent to your address." Katie revealed. "Please. The only thing I get in the mail are all those bills. I just signed my name and shredded them." Larry said. "Funny. We searched your address and managed to reassemble this particular restraining order." The first officer said, bringing out a taped-up shredded restraining order. Larry was shocked by this. "Oh, and Larry? Before you go…" Katie started to say. She grabbed Larry, punched him in the face, then in the groin and kneed his forehead, knocking him down. "Never ever darken my husband's door again!" She threatened as Larry groaned. "He's all yours, gentlemen." She said. The officers nodded as they helped Larry up and handcuffed him. "No! I want my stuff! It's my stuff! Mine! Do you hear me! MINE! MINE! MINE!" Larry screamed as he was forced into the police car.
After the officers got back in their car and drove away, Denny closed the gate. "Well, that's the last we'll see of that sleaze. For good this time." Katie said. "What'd you replace the video with anyway, Brook?" Shawn asked. "A video of him going to the bathroom." Brook said. "Sweet." Shawn said, giving his brother a fist-bump. "Dad, I know I really messed up today. I'm sorry." Russell apologized as Team Bee reappeared. "Don't worry about it, kiddo. I may be a collector, but I know what's really valuable. And that's having my family by my side. Something greedy scum like Larry and Filch will never understand." Denny said. Katie and Russell smiled as they hugged him. "Besides, did Larry get all these pieces from Aisle 3?" He asked. "Uh huh." Russell said. "Well, what Larry didn't know was that the best stuff is on Aisle 4." Denny said. Just then, Fixit rolled by with a handful of cameras. "Fixit, what're you doing with those cameras?" Miko asked. "I'm going to figure out this star-making thing." Fixit said. "There's just no living with that Mini-Con." Shawn said. Just then, Bumblebee and Arcee noticed that Strongarm wasn't with them and walked off to look for her.
Later, they found Strongarm sitting on the diner sign, watching the sun setting over the city. "Amazing. You broke protocol today, cadet. And we don't see any hives." Bumblebee said as he and Arcee sat down beside Strongarm. "We're very proud of you today, Strongarm." Arcee said. "I realized that you guys, and Grimlock, Fixit, Mirage, Cinderray, even Gears…and especially Sideswipe, you're my ties to Cybertron. More than any rulebook." Strongarm said. "We're glad to hear that, cadet." Arcee said. "You're gonna be okay." Bumblebee added. But as they got up to leave, Strongarm brought up her report. "But that's not to say I won't be writing you all up." She said. Bumblebee and Arcee smiled at that, knowing that while she broke one rule, she'll never change too much.
Well, that was interesting. Strongarm was so bent up on following rules and protocols as Team Bee pursued a greedy Corvicon named Filch. And the team disregarding everything she stood for was causing her to start developing alloy hives. Meanwhile, Denny and Katie dealing with an old enemy and rival, Larry LaRue, who was trying to film the entire scrapyard. But in the end, Strongarm managed to get over her obsessive rule-following and capture Filch. And Larry LaRue got what he deserved. But will this moment last for Strongarm? Is it really the last of Larry LaRue? What other challenges and complications will Team Bee face together? Leave a review if you'd like.
