The 3rd Battle of Desora Part I
November 16, 75221 N.B.E.*, 12:24 P.M.
It has been over 1 1/2 months(50 days) after the successful G.R.F.* Raid on Coaminhe; During that time the G.R.F. was able produce and assigned their new ships(1 Battlestar(Andromeda class), 1 cruiser(Araon class), 1 destroyer(Kara Thrace class) and 1 more Flattop ship(Anastasia class) and the fighter support(530 of the latest vipers.) reinforce the Desora defense fleet* to defend the star system from any interstellar threat. Recently for the past few days the G.R.F. have being seeing and hearing from Scout Reports from Recon Raptors that a surprised amass the largest Cylon fleet that have yet to see in the area a massive Cylon fleet made up of 50 Cylon Basestars along with over 23,200 Cylon Raiders and they must have secretly for weeks have been assembling near the Planet Desora. The scouts have as well that within the Cylon fleet that they have 13 troop transports. The G.R.F Military high command concluded that the Cylon target would again be their colonial World: Desora since it was 1 of only know G.R.F. worlds that with Human on it. They give a warning to the Desora defensive fleet commander: Admiral Francis Murphy to prepare his defensive fleet for a massive space battle above Desora and to hold out unit the nearest sizeable fleet reinforces at Ploúsio Fagitó to arrive in least a day, 8 hours and 39 minutes to help him in his battle.
Time-skip: 2:24 P.M.
Admiral Francis Murphy stood tall on the bridge of his flagship, the Battlestar Pegasus overseeing the coordinated maneuvers of the fleet. The Cylon fleet appeared on the radar and Admiral Francis Murphy to which he ordered to his communications officer Lt. Anderson Michealson* and in an urgent commanding tone "Lt. Michealson set up a radio frequence channel across the fleet for all my fellow captains and commanders to receive."
Lt. Michealson in a calm acknowledged tone, "Yes, Sir.(after waiting for roughly a few seconds.) Fleet wide Radio frequence channel open, Sir."
Admiral Murphy's voice boomed over the intercom, "All ships Battle stations and launch all Vipers to engage the Cylon Raiders. Lt. Michealson please contact the Desora planetary defense command for them to launch as many Vipers as Possible to help us against the Cylon Raiders."
Lt. Michealson "Yes sir."
As the battle between the G.R.F. and the Cylon attack fleet began to unfold their 1st wave of Vipers and pilots launched from their Launching tubes and headed for their intense dogfight with the enemy raiders. Among them was Major Sarah Collins*, a seasoned pilot and the commanding officer of the 1st wave of vipers known for her cool demeanor under fire.
In her cockpit, Sarah's hands gripped the controls with determination as she scanned the chaos unfolding around her. The DRADIS screen lit up with blips as the Cylon Raiders descended upon them like a swarm of angry hornets. With a deep breath, Sarah steadied her nerves and focused on the task at hand. She got on his radio and say in commanding and somewhat nervous tone "Stay sharp, Sharks squadron, keep formation and watch each other's backs."
Beside her, was her Captain James Reynolds* nodded in silent acknowledgment, his eyes fixed on the approaching enemy. Together, they streaked through the void of space, their Vipers poised for combat.
As the Raiders closed within missile range, Sarah's training kicked in and in she called out over the comm "Here they come!" her voice crackling with static.
As a few more seconds Major Collins got a missile lock on a Cylon raider and in a calm commanding and somewhat nervous tone "Shark 1, Box 2."
Captain Reynolds followed suit and in a calm and somewhat nervous tone "Shark 2, Box 1."
A few of the other pilots near them in their squadron followed suit with them saying:
Shark 3 "Shark 3, Box 3."
Shark 4 "Shark 4, Box 4."
Shark 5 "Shark 5, Box 2."
Shark 6 "Shark 6, Box 1."
As the rest of the 1st wave of G.R.F. Vipers fired their missiles and saw most of their missiles hit their targets the space around them becoming a battleground with both missiles and laser fire-streaked past them as they danced through the chaos, their weapons blazing as they targeted the Raiders.
In the heat of battle, Captain Reynolds found himself pursued by a group of Raiders. With adrenaline pumping, he executed a daring barrel roll, narrowly avoiding a barrage of enemy fire. As the Raiders closed in, he gritted his teeth and unleashed a volley of missiles, sending one Raider spiraling into oblivion.
"Nice shooting, Reynolds," Sarah's voice crackled over the comm, filled with admiration.
But the battle was far from over. As more Raiders swarmed towards them, Sarah and Reynolds fought side by side, their Vipers darting through the chaos with precision and skill. Together with the rest of their squadron, they held the line against the relentless tide of enemy fighters, determined to secure both space and air supremacy for the G.R.F. defense fleet.
As both the G.R.F. Viper and Cylon forces engage each other in battle Admiral Francis Murphy along with his fellow captains and commanders was coordinated and maneuvering to engage the enemy fleet. As both fleets came into weapons range Admiral Murphy in a calm and somewhat nervous tone to the whole fleet "When the Enemy is within weapons range left them have it." As so begins the massive capital ship-to ship battle between both their fleets with both projectiles and Plasma Laser cannon fire flight between each other's fleets.
On the bridge of the cruiser Araon, Captain Rachel Chen* monitored her ships DRADIS Radar tactical displays with sweat beaded on her forehead; As well with all her radar operator and communication officers relayed orders and receiving to date progress on the DRADIS Radar and reports across the ship as she is directing their firepower towards the approaching enemy. she commanded, her voice steady despite the chaos unfolding around her "Target the nearest Basestar, Fire all batteries on my mark. Fire!"
This scenario played out similarly across the fleet and both the G.R.F. and Cylon fleets crashed into each with both sides tried to gain an advantage over the other and for the next 8 hours both fleets battle it out. On the destroyer Kara Thrace, Lt. Reynold James manned the weapons systems, his focus unwavering as he targeted incoming enemy fighters. With precision and skill, he unleashed a volley of firepower, his shots finding their marks and taking down multiple Raiders. he shouted triumphantly as explosions blossomed in the distance. "Direct hit!"
But amidst the chaos, tragedy struck, Aboard the cruiser Araon after 45 minutes of combat have lost its powerful defensive shields and now is receiving massive amounts of damage from being under heavy fire from 4 Cylon Basestars, with both ship-to-ship turret fire and missile projectiles eating away its Heavy armor hull plating. After another 3 minutes of heavy fire the Araon suffered a direct hit to its engines, sending it spiraling out of control. Captain Rachel Chen, commanding officer of the Araon, fought valiantly to maintain control of her ship as she issued orders to her crew to abandon ship. Captain Rachel Chen in a tinged and urgent tone as she activated the ship's emergency protocols "Abandon ship! All hands, evacuate immediately!" she shouted, her voice tinged with urgency as she activated the ship's emergency protocols.
As the crew of the Araon scrambled to escape the doomed vessel, the rest of the Desora defense fleet rallied around them, providing cover fire and support. Amidst the chaos and devastation, the spirit of camaraderie and sacrifice shone bright, a testament to the courage and resilience of the G.R.F. defenders. Sadly the G.R.F. fleet got overwhelmed and bombarded into oblivion; As well their viper forces causing the enemy's remaining Basestars were heavily damaged from the G.R.F. capital ships to use what Anti-fighter missiles they had left to eliminate all the remaining G.R.F. Vipers that were annoying their fleet; Fortunately, 1/4 to 1/2 of all the G.R.F. ships crews were able to make to their escape pods and raptors and land on the planet for safety to fight another day; They have as well did massive amount of damage to the Cylon massive fleet.
As for the Cylon attack fleet they have lost 45 of their basestars in the battle with the G.F.R. defense fleet above Desora with the remaindered of their Basestars in their fleet suffering heavy damaged from the G.F.R. Capital ships and remaining Vipers that were annoying their fleet; However, with the Space above Desora the Cylon now leading commander give the signal to their 13 troop transports that were waiting to come and end the Planetary invasion of Desora to which they waited 22 1/2 minutes and after that they saw their troop transports jump in above Desora and spend the next few hours in finding possible landing zones to land their ground forces across Desora* where the human settles are and their military assets are to defend their civilians from them.

*Lt. Anderson Michaelson: Anderson Michaelson was born on the G.R.F. world of New Caprica, where he grew up in a family with 5 other siblings. He was drafted into the G.R.F. Military and assigned into the Air force Division as 1 of the G.R.F. Air force Training academies. Despite being drafted his decided to serve complete his tours of duty as the best pilot he could be. After graduation he was put into the G.R.F. Air force and rose through the ranks due to his determine and strategic acumen. His is a disciplined, methodical, and fiercely dedicated to his duty. He approaches every task with precision and attention to detail, earning him the respect of his superiors and peers alike. Despite his reserved demeanor, he cares deeply for his fellow comrades and will do whatever it takes to ensure their safety.
*Major Sarah Collins: Sarah Collins was born on the G.R.F. world Earth, where she grew up surrounded by the beauty of nature and the thrill of adventure. From a young age, she displayed a natural talent for piloting and dreamt of exploring the stars. Determined to pursue her passion, Sarah joined the G.R.F. military and quickly distinguished herself as one of their top pilots. Her courage and skill in combat earned her the rank of Major and command of her own Viper squadron. She is courageous, determined, and fiercely independent. From a young age, he was drawn to the thrill of flying and spent hours tinkering with model spacecraft in his garage. Determined to turn his passion into a career, James joined the G.R.F. military and quickly rose through the ranks as a skilled pilot. His cool demeanor under fire and natural leadership abilities earned him the rank of Captain. He is calm, collected, and possesses a dry sense of humor. He approaches every situation with a level head and is known for his quick thinking in the heat of battle. Despite his laid-back exterior, he takes his responsibilities seriously and is fiercely protective of his squadron mates.
