Percy stepped out into the hall as Alecto slashed a locked to ribbons trying to get at Grover.
"You cannot protect the halfbloods from me, satyr. Give them to me, and I will not make you into mulch."
Grover was scared but trying to not show it. "Alecto, they can't have taken anything. They don't even know who they are."
Percy took Riptide form his pocket. "Sorry, G-man, but I got to ruin that illusion. Hello again, Alecto." He stepped forward, uncapping his sword as he slashed through the Fury. The look of horror on her face as the turned to dust was priceless. "Goodbye, again, Alecto. See you next time."
Grover was staring at him with wide eyes. "Percy? How?"
"No time to explain, G-man. I just ousted myself to a Kindly One. Our friend downstairs will be aware of me for sure now."
He turned to see Penny and Annabeth staring at him.
"Percy, you just killed Mrs. Dodds!" Penny exclaimed. The Mist was clearly clinging to her mind.
Annabeth sighed and said. "You promised you wouldn't dust Alecto just yet, Seaweed Brain."
"Sorry, Wise Girl, but I prefer Grover in one piece."
"So do I, really."
Grover was looking back and forth between them. "How do you two know each other?"
"Sorry, Grover," Annabeth gave him a hug. "Percy is right. We need to get out of here. The lord of the underworld is not one to overlook this. We need to get them both to Camp, now."
"Di Immortales," Grover swore. "Alright. We need to tell Chiron so he can contact their mother."
"No need." Chiron stepped out from around the corner, in full centaur mode with bow in hand. There was a thump as his twin passed out onto the floor. "Well, that could have gone better." The teacher of heroes mused. "I'll take Grover and the girl back to Camp quickly and then contact Sally." He gave both Percy and Annabeth shrewd looks. "You two are older than you appear, are you not?"
"Of course, Chiron would see through us." Percy sighed as he capped Riptide. He offered the pen back to his mentor who shook his head. "No, keep it. I sensed the pen had a new master recently. You may need it on your trip to Camp. Though I get the sense it is not your first. Argus awaits you both with the van."
They nodded and hurried out as Chiron scooped up Penny and Grover and disappeared. Argus was surprised to see Percy as he climbed into the van after Annabeth but as always, he said nothing. He then drove off towards Camp Halfblood.

Meanwhile, back in the original timeline.
Sally Jackson approached Poseidon with Paul at her side. The god of the sea looked up at them as they approached.
"I know what you are going to ask. I'm surprised it took this long, really."
Sally smiled. "I just know my children, Percy and Annabeth, are going to need their mother and mother figure to support them. Having a stranger in my form could be harmful, especially to Annabeth who already has issues trusting parental figures. Let us go to the bodies of our younger selves too, so we can be that support. I fear the other me will not understand Percabeth and do something foolish."
Poseidon brought out three vials of potion. "One for each of you, and one for Blackjack. Might as well as send Percy his loyal steed as well. I wish I could do it for Tyson as well, but it doesn't seem to work for monsters. Percy will have to befriend Tyson the normal way."
Sally and Paul claimed the vials and nodded. "We understand. Thank you, Poseidon."
Sally gave her former lover a very chaste kiss on the cheek before she and Paul departed. Across the world that day, the waters were calm and playful. No one really understood why, especially since a hurricane had been brewing just the day prior.

Sally had given Percy the vial of potion for Blackjack. He had rolled his eyes but had done his best cabbie whistle. Once that was done, she and Paul retreated to their home. Estelle was playing in the room.
"Are you alright with this, Sally?" Paul asked again as they uncorked the vials.
"Yes, we will still be here as well, after all. We will still have Estelle. But the Percy and Annabeth that selfishly gave up their lives here need us. We can't let them down."
He nodded. "I'm with you. Just tell me where to go and I'll brain that Gabe for you."
She chuckled. "I'll deal with him if need be. Seeing as how I had a daughter too in that world, I doubt I brought a man like him in, even to protect Percy. I would have found another way."
"If anyone could, it's you, my love."
They drank and then went and played with their daughter until bedtime. When they woke, some part of themselves would be in the new world as well.

The first few miles were clear of monsters. Then, some harpies had tried to descend on them as they crossed to Long Island. The water of the Hudson surged up and swallowed the monsters, though Percy could not help thinking of poor Ella as he did so. It was like when he faced a Hell Hound after owning Mrs. O'Leary. He just could not bring himself to hurt them at first.
Annabeth laid her head on his shoulder, not caring if Argus saw or not. Not that the monster would say anything, but Percy did get another wink from him.
"We should try and act as normal as possible, once we are at camp." Annabeth explained. "We should get Chiron to help us cover this up."
Percy nodded. "Agreed. I wonder if Mr. D has sniffed you out yet."
Argue blinked all his eyes rapidly, his way of laughing. Annabeth grinned. "I guess not."
They were a mile from the camp when they found the road blocked. Percy rolled his eyes as he stopped his old friend Beef Cakes the Minotaur waiting for him. He opened the door and stepped out, Annabeth joining him.
"We take him together this time, Seaweed Brain."
He nodded and as one, they leveled their weapons and charged at the surprised monster.
*Percabeth-Redo*
He had been told to expect two scared and untested twin godlings. He had not expected two Greek warriors with a prowess that put Thesus to shame. The boy was on defense, carefully deflecting every slash he made with his massive Omega shaped ax. The girl on the other hand, took advantage of every opening and he tasted the cut of celestial bronze again and again. It was like she could see any chink in both his guard and armor and exploit it flawlessly. He swung his hand at the boy instead of his ax, forcing him to change tactics. He then whirled his ax at the girl but she slid across the ground, cutting the tendons in his legs as she did.
His scream of pain rang out over the valley as he fell to his knees. He felt the boys sword press to his neck.
"Sorry about his, beef cakes." The boy said before the bronze blade claimed his head. The Minotaur did not mind so much, losing to such formidable opponents. At least he was not killed by a green horn.

Annabeth got up and brushed the dirt from her knees. "I see he had time to get ready and wait for us this time. Last time he came at you in his underwear, right?"
Percy nodded. "Yeah, I was vulnerable in the middle of the night. He likely got roused from his sleep."
She sighed as they looked at the Pine Tree on the hill in the distance. "Shall we go home, Seaweed Brain?"
Percy inhaled deeply as he stepped forward. "Oh yes, let;'s go home."

A/N: Now that the PJO TV show is over, I likely will be cutting back on the random Percabeth fics. Hope you enjoyed this one though. This is my last WIP update for February. See you in March!
