16. Announcement

Dear Beloved and patient readers,

After a decade of not posting anything that I have written, I have been struck by the desire to resume. I'm in my mid-thirties now and I feel like I can finally give 'Why the Wolf Returned' another shot and do it better this time. I love the premise of this story but I think it needs to be cleaned up.

When I originally began to write this story I had a very young child, a spouse in the military, and just enough working brain cells to keep us all from starving. My worldview was still rather juvenile in 2014. Now, I am a working single mother of two children and it has radically changed how I think about love, marriage, parenthood, and adult behavior in general.

I plan to switch this story over to AO3 under the same username. Its uploading process is much more simple than FFN and I think that site has been on the brink of shutting down for years. While this website's 'follow' and 'favorite' interface is far superior to AO3, I think that it is a better fit for me.

I will be uploading a rewrite of the first chapter to that website within the next couple of days, so I encourage you to head over there and look me up (Bookishlady09). This story will not be deleted on FFN, but this is the final thing I will be add to it here.

I truly hope to see you there!
