Chapter 98 – Babies Conversation
Luke wrapped his right arm around Ines's waist and pulled closer to him, making her smile.
It was around 7am in Varykino, and everyone was still in their warm beds, since the day outside was very cold.
"This is feels nice," Ines replied snuggling even more into her husband warm body.
"You know it is still early in the morning, maybe we can have a good moment ourselves."
Ines glare at Luke with a smile on her face.
"What do you have in mind, Master Skywalker!"
"I'm thinking that we can start with this," and leaning forward her took her lips into his into a deep kiss, when the door opened and they pulled apart, looking at the door, laughing, when they saw one of their twin girls, closing the door and running towards their bed and get under the covers between them.
"Good morning," Alli told looking at her parents. "Were you two kissing?"
Luke glare at Ines and then back to his daughter.
"That is what parents do a lot, actually," he replied. "The question is what are you doing out of bed at this time of the morning, young lady?"
"Where is your twin by the way?" Ines asked.
"Padmé is sleeping." the 5 years old answered her mother.
"And why are you not sleeping like her?"
Alli looked at her father.
"Cause I'm awake."
"And why are you awake?" he continue asking her.
"My eyes are open. Duh!" she stare at him.
"You know what, you are spending to much time with your uncle Han, young lady," Ines replied, removing some string of hair from her daughter eyes.
"I like Uncle Han, he is funny."
"Way to funny!" Luke nod kissing her forehead.
After a few seconds, Alli looked at her father and then at her mother.
"I had being thinking…" she started.
"Oh boy, when you start saying that, something not good is coming," Ines said right away.
"You were kissing when I come in,"
"Yes, you saw us kissing many times before young lady," Luke answered her.
"I know," she started, "So, I was thinking, is that how babies are made?"
Ines frown at that question.
"What that comes from right now?"
"Cause you two said that papa put a seed inside mama, and then papa's seed meet mama's seed and they make a baby."
"That's right," Luke nod.
"So, how papa's seed get inside mama and meet mama's seed? And where the seed comes from? Is kissing the way?"
Ines tried hard not to laugh, but she look at Luke.
"Papa, do you want to explain how your seed meet my seed and where it comes from?"
"Me? She is a girl, that's a mother's job. When the boys want to know I will tell them."
"That is so sexist, Skywalker," Ines replied rolled her eyes.
"Hello!" Alli said. "Papa! Mama!"
Ines glare at Luke and then back to her daughter.
"No sweetie, that is not how Papa's sees get inside Mama."
Alli frown.
"Then how? I don't see any other way!"
"There is actually, but you are way to young to know the details, yet!" Luke replied making Alli cross her arms.
"I'm not a baby, I'm 5!" she said sticking her full hand in front of Luke's face.
"I know. You are growing way to fast to my taste, but that is a grown up conversation that I don't think you will understand, even if we try to explain in a way!"
"Try me!"
"She is stubborn like you, Luke, so… I don't think she will let go!" Ines said.
Luke glare at his wife making Ines giggle, knowing that her husband really want her help, and nodding, she made Alli look at her.
"Sweetie, the process of how Papa put the seed inside Mama is very complex and well, and we can't tell without going into some details that you are still very young to understand." she started.
"Yeah," Luke nod. "But we promise that when you are your siblings get old enough, we will explain everything to you. We are not going to lie or hide. Is that okay?"
Alli glare at them and then nod.
"Okay. I know you will. But I want to know where it comes from."
Luke and Ines looked at each other.
"Well we can tell you that," Luke said looking at Ines.
"I'm waiting," she said crossing her arms.
"You know that boys and girls are different down there, right?" Ines started making Alli nod.
"Yes. I saw you change Lukey's diapers. They can aim, that's cool. We can't do that."
"No we can't and yes sweetie it sucks." Ines nod laughing.
"Are you saying Papa's see comes from there?" she asked, making Ines nod. "Like when we pee?"
"Not quiet. But that is something we will tell you later, but yes it comes from there." Luke answered it.
"And Mama's seed comes from where we pee too?" she asked looking at her mother.
"Not exactly," Ines started., "We girls we have two little circles here," she said pointing at her lower abdomen, "And every month one of those little circles let go a seed."
"Do I have those too?" she asked raising her pajama blouse.
"Yes you have, but yours still not working yet cause you are too young."
"So when?"
"You will know, and when the time comes, mama will explain that to you and your sister." she kissing her forehead. "But when the seed gets out of the circle and meets papa's seed, they blend together and that makes a baby, that will travel all the way until reach here, mama's belly and stays here for 9 months."
"Cool," Alli said. "So that's it?"
"Yes that's it."
"I thought it was more complicated," she frown making Luke and Ines laugh.
"Any questions?" Luke asked.
Alli made a thoughtful face and then sitting down she face her parents.
"Why mama's have two babies and other times only one?"
"Wow you really are in the questions mood today," Luke shook his head laughing.
"Well, are you going to tell me, or it is too detail," she said crossing her arms.
Ines sighed giggling at her daughter.
"Actually the normal way is only one baby, but sometimes mama's have two babies and even more babies at once."
"Really?" the girl asked with wide eyes.
"Yes. There was a lady back in Alderaan that had 3 babies at the same time. Two boys that were like you and Padmé. And a girl."
"Wow!" Alli said. "How did they fit there?"
"More babies, the smaller they are sweetie," Luke told her.
"Then how it happens. Cause Bail and Anakin and Papa and Aunt Leia are not like me and Padmé, or like you and my aunt that we never met," she said looking at Ines who smiled at her.
"That's right."
"Then why?"
"Well remember the circles we girls have?"
Alli nod right away.
"Well, normally it only let go one seed a month, but sometimes, the two decided to release a seed at the same time. So when Papa's seed get inside mama, instead of one they find two."
"How Papa's seed can do that?"
"Well cause unlike Mama's, we Papas release a lot of tiny little seeds that look like tiny little baby fishes."
"Wow!" Alli exclaimed. "Now I get it. So when that happens, two babies come like you and aunt Leia."
"That's right. Or like your cousins Ani and Bail," Luke told her.
"But what about me and Padmé?"
"Well in that case, is just one mama's seed and one Papa's seed. But when the baby is traveling to mama's belly, like I told you, somehow it splits in two and one baby becomes 2." Ines explain.
"And that's how Padmé and I born."
"Very good," Luke and Ines said kissing her cheeks.
"That's cool. Thank you for not lying to me." she said and she pulls Luke and Ines into a hug and kissed their cheeks.
"We will never going to lie to you sweetie," Luke said, and that moment Padmé entered in the room and jump into bed.
"Why didn't you awake me?" she asked her twin.
"You were sleeping, duh!"
"What were you talking about?"
"Papa and Mama just explain to me where Papa's seed comes from and you will not going to believe it."
"I want to know," Padmé pout.
"Let me tell you," Alli said making the girls get between her parents while Luke and Ines tried not to laugh while the watch Alli explain to her twin what they told her.
Luke glare at Ines and wink at her. He was so thankful the force to choose her to be in his life and that with her, they make their beautiful kids and he couldn't wait to do another one with her.
