Chapter 54: Lost Souls
It took a few days for Hermione to actually find a real way to put her plan into action. Of course, she was not lacking in the desire to save her loved ones, but she still had to know exactly how. After all, with those who would follow her, she had no right to make mistakes and could not risk bringing them to a realm other than the Underworld. The young witch had read all the books about the passages and portals she could find. One thing was everywhere: water. It was a universal gateway to many worlds. She then found herself in front of the lake, near the forest, to think about it a little.
- I know this type of look, said a mother voice behind her.
- I found, I found the perfect place to do it.
- Lake ? Regina asked questioningly.
- Water is a natural portal to other worlds, it is a source of magic in many myths and legends. And then, you have to think of Charon.
- And who is this gentleman?
- Guardian of the Underworld.
The former evil queen saw that it was the home stretch before the umpteenth trip that awaited them. Her daughter had found the place as well as the catwalk. It was still necessary to find the necessary power to summon Charon. Then again, Hermione had thought of everything. She knew that on her own, mixing all the magic she knew, she could do this incantation.
Once everyone gathered, the young woman took a deep breath before trying her luck. Surprisingly, it worked the first time and a boat and its driver appeared on the lake.
- We're coming guys, have faith, the Gryffindor sighed.
They all took their places, one after the other in the boat before feeling the portal to the Underworld wash over them. It wasn't until they actually got to the other side that they realized they had succeeded. Hermione smirked. It was only a matter of time before she found Henry and Sirius. She had known how to give hope to everyone and was proud of it.
The group quickly realized the similarities between their city and this area. To believe they were expected. Yes, but by whom? This question was quickly answered when a red-haired figure with green eyes approached them with a scathing gaze.
- Zelena! Regina growled.
By instinct, Hermione as well as Robin placed themselves in front of the mother-to-be. The witch of Oz sighed wearily, she definitely wasn't in the mood for a fight.
- Calm down, I'm already dead, no need to attack me. For once I didn't do anything. Well, not yet at least. She said with a smirk.
- Tell us what's going on here, why the Underworld looks like Storybrooke. What do you know about Henry and a wizard who came here recently and… Regina began.
- Easy, sis' one step after another.
Zelena explained to them that since her arrival, things seemed frozen here. It was only after some time that she finally realized that only those who had not settled all their scores with the living world stayed here. Those who, in other words, did not rest in peace. Strangely, everyone felt pity for the redhead. True, no one seemed to like it, yet no one would like to be trapped in limbo. Hermione and Robin relaxed a bit as they noticed that, yes, Zelena didn't look aggressive at the moment.
Sitting on one of the nearby benches, the witch continued her story by explaining that this place was ruled by Hades. This information did not surprise Hermione at all, who had read enough on the subject to know that it followed the mythologies. The redhead quickly moved on to the fact that she had had an affair with Hades to begin to address the fact that Cora was also here.
- Our mother ? Note, I shouldn't be surprised that she doesn't rest in peace.
- Well, after meeting an aunt, I might run into my grandmother. It's an great family reunion in the end, Hermione laughed lightly.
She was the only one laughing. Regina knew how cruel her mother could be and was afraid of what she might do to Hermione. True, she couldn't hurt her physically, but Cora had always had a thing for breaking people heart, piece by piece. The former queen ran her hand gently over her stomach, wishing wholeheartedly that everyone would return to Storybrooke in one piece.

It was dark, damp and yet their wrists were aching. Both Sirius and Henry knew something was wrong. They groaned, looked at each other before realizing the last moments they had spent in town.
- We're dead, aren't we? Asked the young man.
- I would have said yes, but heaven looked much better in my imagination.
The two quickly realized that they were not where they should have been once they died. At least, Sirius understood it. After all, even if he had done enough bad things, from his point of view Henry clearly did not belong in such a place.
- Don't worry, it's only temporary. Before long, you will have joined the void and it will be just a bad memory.
Henry and Sirius, turned their heads to the voice. This was from a man with flaming blue hair who appeared to be the keeper. Henry immediately understood who it was. The god of the Underworld gave them a slight smile before resuming:
- As soon as I avenge Zelena by destroying her sister and all her little family that will come running to you, she will come back to me. And there, I would no longer need to keep you, I would destroy your souls and this whole little story will be over.
Sirius could only laugh out loud. To him, the idea that a woman could be seduced by multiple murder was absurd. However, his hilarity will earn him a flash of lightning from Hades. Growling that he would get what he had always wanted, he left the two men strapped to the wall, waiting to see what awaited them.

For their part, Harry and Ron had returned to Hogwarts. They ran as fast as they could to the Headmaster's office to explain to him and their Head of House everything that had happened.
Note : Sorry for this year of absence! Don't hit me!
