The PJ Masks were in the museum, fighting off Luna Girl, who was trying to steal shiny things as usual.
"Take this, PJ Masks!" Luna Girl said, trying to zap the PJ Masks with her luna magnet while floating on her luna board. The PJ Masks easily dodged her blasts.
"You're running out of ideas, Luna Girl. Stealing stuff...again," Catboy mocked. Luna Girl grunted as she tried to get the PJ Masks. Then Catboy had an idea. He suddenly jumped on Luna Girl's luna board.
"Hey! Get off, kitty litter boy!" Luna Girl said.
"Nuh-uh," Catboy hissed, using his tail to take Luna Girl's luna magnet. He then jumped back onto the museum floor. The blue cat's friends smiled triumphantly behind him.
"Give that back!" Luna Girl ordered angrily. The PJ Masks did not obey, and instead, they zapped Luna Girl and put her in one of her luna bubbles. Catboy then threw the luna magnet in the bubble with her.
"I'll be back, PJ Masks!" Luna Girl said angrily, un-bubbling herself and running away.
"Great trick, Catboy!" Gekko said.
"Thanks! We won't be seeing Luna Girl again for a while," Catboy replied.
"Thank goodness for that," a voice said. The PJ Masks looked up, and they saw Night Panther, sitting near a hatch in the transparent museum roof. He had been watching the heroes.
"Night Panther!" Catboy said happily as Night jumped through the hatch and faced him.
"You've got some tail, Catboy," Night remarked. "I can't even get mine to move fast like that!"
"Thank you, Night. It's pretty cool, isn't it?" Catboy replied, laughing and letting his blue tail make waves in the air.
"Come on, guys. Let's go to HQ," Owlette said, leading the other heroes out of the museum. Meanwhile, a spy-cam had been watching the heroes behind a pillar. As soon as they left, it ran off to go find Romeo.
In the morning, the PJ Kids were sitting at lunch and talking about last night.
"Sometimes, I wish that I could have a cat tail all the time. It's like having a third arm," Connor said.
"I agree, Connor," Greg replied. "It is like having a third arm."
"Well, I don't have a tail as Owlette, so I don't know what it's like to have a 'third arm'," Amaya pointed out, making the three kids laugh.
"I can't wait to use that cat tail of mine again tonight!" Connor said happily. "PJ Masks, we're on our way..."
"Into the night, to save the day!" the PJ Kids announced.
At HQ that night, Gekko and Owlette were standing up, while Night Panther and Catboy were sitting on all fours next to each other.
"Search for villains, PJ Robot," Owlette ordered PJ Robot, who cheerfully obeyed.
"Night, stop tickling my tail," Catboy whispered. Night was stroking his own black-and-white tail across Catboy's tail, and the blue cat was laughing cutely.
"Stop what? I can't hear you," Night replied teasingly.
"Dude, stop it...we're going to go on a mission soon," Catboy hissed. Night reluctantly stopped stroking Catboy's tail, and it was just in time.
"Guys! Romeo is next to the museum!" Owlette said, pointing to a live feed of Romeo and Robot. "To the Owl Glider!"
At that, Owlette pressed the Owl Glider icon, and all the heroes ran to Owlette's area. PJ Robot waved as they left.
When the PJ Masks found Romeo, they jumped out of the Owl Glider upon landing it. Romeo was holding a ray gun and smirking as the heroes faced him. He had been waiting for them.
"Hi, PJ Pests," Romeo said.
"What are you up to, Romeo?" Catboy asked.
"I just made a new ray gun, and I wanted to test it on a particular pair of cats," Romeo replied. Owlette and Gekko shared a confused look.
"Night and I?" Catboy asked in bewilderment. He and Night shared a look, but then they looked back at Romeo and smirked.
"In case you forgot, Catboy and I have cat tails. They help us move gracefully. You'd never be able to catch us," Night boasted, showing off his tail behind him. Catboy did the same.
"Wanna bet?" Romeo asked, firing his ray gun and trying to aim at Night and Catboy. The two cats were successfully dodging Romeo's shots. Owlette and Gekko eyed both cats. They didn't know who to help, and they also didn't understand why Romeo was only aiming for the cats.
"Uh...you guys need help?" Owlette asked Night.
"Naw, we got it," Night replied, still dodging Romeo's ray.
"Mhm," Catboy added, wagging his blue tail in the air and winking to tease Night. Night smirked as he picked up on Catboy's message.
"They're fine," Gekko said, putting a hand on Owlette's shoulder. "They've got this."
The lizard and owl-themed heroes jumped in the Owl Glider and flew off.
"Hold still!" Romeo ordered angrily. Night and Catboy did not obey, and instead they just kept dodging Romeo's ray gun. Eventually, though, the two cats tripped over one another as they jumped around, and then they got zapped.
"Catboy, you stepped on my tail," Night hissed.
"No, I didn't! You stepped on my tail," Catboy hissed back. The two paused in confusion when they saw Romeo laughing. Angry at being laughed at, the two cats tried to get up and run in separate directions, but something was wrong.
They were...stuck together. The two cats looked at their tails, and they were fused into a string of cat fur.
"W-What the?" Night asked in confusion. "Why are our tails joined together?"
"Romeo! What the heck did you do to us?!" Catboy asked Romeo.
"Good luck getting free from the Cat Fusion Ray, lover-cats!" Romeo mocked, allowing Robot to pick him up and take him away from the area.
"Get back here!" Catboy hissed as Romeo laughed maniacally. Night and Catboy sat there on the street for about a minute.
"Now what?" Night asked finally.
"Let's go find Owlette and Gekko," Catboy replied. "We need their help now."
After struggling to walk for long enough, Catboy and Night crowded together in an elevator to see Owlette and Gekko at HQ. The two heroes they were looking for were watching a movie.
"Guys! We need your help!" Night called, getting Owlette and Gekko's attention.
"Oh! Come on, Gekko," Owlette ordered Gekko.
"But I love Kick McGee," Gekko protested, making Owlette shoot him a glare.
"Nevermind," Gekko backtracked, getting up with Owlette to see Catboy and Night. PJ Robot was there, too. The gray robot beeped in fright.
"Fluttering feathers! What happened to your tails?" Owlette inquired.
"Romeo finally zapped us...and now we're...stuck...together..." Catboy slowly answered, dirty thoughts suddenly entering his mind.
"Ooh! It's like a jump rope!" Gekko said, admiring Catboy and Night's joined tails of fur.
"Gekko!" Catboy hissed in annoyance, blushing. Owlette and Night seemed twice as annoyed.
"What?!" Gekko asked, getting bothered that he was being yelled at for only speaking his mind.
"Romeo has to reverse this, otherwise you won't be coming to school tomorrow," Owlette pointed out.
"I know. That's why we need your help," Catboy hissed.
"Let's go get Romeo and tell him to reverse this," Owlette said. "To the Owl Glider...again."
