Heyyo, here's my weekly Wednesday update :P This ones just about Ash and James reacting to their daughter and son revealing to them that they're a couple . My and my TT ship Katie and Jayden (Ash's daughter and Jessie's and James' son) so I wrote this T.T Hope you all enjoy :3 And I know Jayden and Katie are really young but it's obviously not gonna be a serious relationship just yet ;P

Ash: 26

James: 33

Katie: 7

Jayden: 8 and a half/9

"Pikachu!"

It was a beautiful summers day in the Kanto Region and I had just endured a long mornings training with my best friend, Ash. Now the vigorous exercise I was taking a rest under the tree and was completely unaware of what was going on inside.

"Pikachu!"

The second call was enough to wake me up from reliving all my old battles in my head and made me leap onto my feet, my ears pricked.

"Sorry to make you jump, Pikachu..." I relaxed when Katie reached her hand out to me, an apologetic expression on her face. Nodding in understanding, I noticed that Jessie and James' son, Jayden, was there too. He had been a quiet and artistic boy since he was a toddler so I was no wonder he was hiding behind his girl best friend. I offered a friendly smile at the green orbed boy and I too relaxed when he creeped a little closer. Now, I wonder what was going on?

It was almost as if Katie had heard me, or maybe she could read the questioning expression on my face, because she sat down on the grass and began explaining the situation to me.

"We just told our dad's that we might become a couple..."

My eyes grew slightly wide at this as I was completely unaware that they had admitted their feelings to one an other, let alone their parents. I was a little unsure of it as they were very young but I knew their parents would lead them in the right direction of just being childhood sweethearts. Looking from one an other, I couldn't help but smirk slightly. I knew this was going to happen one day; they had been paired as soon as Misty found out one of the twins was going to be a girl.

Katie, who had a temper belonging to her mother, had clearly got bored during my long trip down memory lane in my mind and gave me an inpatient poke.

"Daddy and Uncle James are yelling at each other! What will we do?"

My eyes grew wide at this and my heart began hammering. There hasn't been a fight between my best friend and the purple haired man for quite a while. I knew it was sure to me trouble.

Gabbling to the two lovebirds that I would return shortly, I dashed into the house, trying to find where the fight was taking place. As soon as I entered the building, my ears erupted with the sound of yelling. Dashing into the living room, I saw the scene of Ash and James giving death stares to each other, their eyebrows knotted with anger.

"You tell your son to stay away from my little girl!"

I sighed, somewhat understandingly. Even though Ash was going completely the wrong way about this by getting angry, he was just being protective of his eldest daughter.

"Jayden wouldn't do anything to hurt Katie; I've raised my son well thank you!" retorted James, crossing his arms sulkily. "He is exactly like me, since when did I ever hurt women?!"

I rolled my own eyes when Ash looked James dead in the eye, causing him to stutter.

"W-Well I never hurt Misty and Katie is practically Misty and Jayden is practically me so there!"

I watched the scene with an unamused face when both the adults stuck their noses into the air childishly. It was obvious where this argument was heading with the use of Misty's name. I had to stop it before it was too late.

"Pika!"

I yelled with all my lungs past their own shouting. I was trying to silence them but to no avail. Ash only briefly looked up from yelling insults at the purple haired man to hiss at me.

"I'm a little busy here buddy!" And with that, he turned his back on me.

Normally I would have been highly insulted by my best friends actions but instead I just sighed, heading out to console the two young lovebirds. Leaping out on to the patio, I saw that dear Katie and Jayden were engaging in a game of tag, chasing each other and laughing, clearly forgetting about the yelling that was going on inside. I sighed to myself, curling up on the warm concrete and watching the scene with dozy orbs. Young love was sweet and both Ash and James had been there before. My best friend would just have to get used to it. Those two had been practically betrothed by James and Misty since the day
the young girl was born.

There you go, thanks a lot for reading :P Yeah so Ash and James start arguing right away, I'm sure they'll settle their differences cos their kids are cute together T3T Thanks again and should probably see you next week. I dunno though I've got an English exam to prepare for so all my ideas should be for that -3- You never know though :P Thanks again xD
