Hey :P It's Wednesday so that means my usual weekly update. This one doesn't really have a point, it's just a bit of fun and a look into James and Misty's relationship :3 I hope you enjoy anyway :P

Disclaimer: I own only the story :3

I smiled as I looked around the house belonging to Delia Ketchum in Pallet Town. Christmas was coming and like every year, a party was being held in Ash's childhood home. This year was going to be even more joyful than ever and Ash and Misty had plans to make it completely spectacular now they had three children of their own. With the help of Ash's mother, the couple had come up with the idea of pegging photographs full of memories across the living room instead of bunting. Ash was busy and couldn't get out of meetings and interviews so in turn couldn't help his wife choose the pictures. Misty called the second person she was closest too and that of course was her best friend, James. The two had been at work for quite a few hours now and I was proud to say they had only just started to bicker.

"I'm growing bored with this, James, who knew we had so many photographs to go through." The red headed female wiped her brow before bending down to sort through yet another box.

James smiled and nodded in agreement, brushing his hair out of his eyes and standing to look at the work so far. Ash and Misty had many friends with an eye for photography and they too enjoyed snapping memorable moments so it was an understatement to say they had a lot of photos. There were photos of Ash as a baby; photos from his journey and of course various memories with Misty and all of his friends.

"I know but we're almost there…" James muttered as he too bent down and rummaged through another box. "I think we have enough of present day but need some stuff from the past."

Upon hearing this I began rummaging through another box, smiling at all the memories. I had found a box full of pictures from previous Christmas' and could help but grin from ear to ear. My absolute favourite was a snap after Ash avoided kissing Misty under the mistletoe and ending up colliding with the food table. I showed James and Misty the snap of Ash covered in festive food and we all laughed heartily.

After a few minutes of silence and pegging the pictures to the string hanging across the room, James smiled and turned to Misty.

"So do you think this Christmas will be even better than last year?"

The red headed female giggled and looked at a photo from the previous year before looking over at her best friend.

"I think so, seeing as it will be a bit livelier now little James can properly enjoy it. He and the twins are sure to cause a commotion!"

While those two chatted away about their children and Christmas, I eyed the snaps of baby James in his Stantler costume from last year. He had only been four months last time and was confused to say the least when his parents dressed him up as a pokemon and begged him to smile for the camera.

I couldn't help but smile as I looked at each and every picture that was going up on display. There were so many memories, almost 16 years' worth! Some of them had been from before I met Ash but I was told of them so frequently, I felt that I too was a part of them. I was sure everyone who came to party in Pallet Town was sure to be filled with fondness and burst out in laughter.

At that exact moment, I snapped out of thoughts to hear Misty was sitting on the floor and holding a photograph and almost crying with laughter myself.

I raised an ear in confusion while James asked exactly what I was thinking.

"What's so funny over there, Misty?" he queried before Misty stuck a photograph right in his face to reveal what exactly she found so hilarious.

I smirked as James squinted to take in the picture before his face grew a horrible white colour and his brushed the picture out Misty's hand. When I too saw it, I burst out in laughter.

"Awww my best friend was such a little girl." Misty wiped a tear as she began prodding a highly embarrassed James in the shoulder.

What Misty held in her hands was a picture of James in a pretty pink dress, clearly from one of their schemes to capture me. After a few minutes of shame, the lavender haired male reached into the box to pull out an equally embarrassing picture of Misty to hang up.

"Awww lookit you so cute and unable to walk in high heels."

Misty blushed pink slightly before holding back up the picture of James in the dress to embarrass him once again.

"You can't make fun of me when you were in a dress."

Misty's irked comment was retorted with James sticking his nose in the air, trying to regain at least some dignity.

"You're just jealous I pulled one off better than you."

I laughed to myself as James and Misty tried to find more and more pictures to embarrass each other with. Misty was right, I think that this Christmas was going to be even better than last year. It was going to be filled with love, laughter and most certain of all, embarrassing pictures for all to enjoy.

The End.
