Hey :P I know it's Sunday and I don't usually upload today but I have a whole bunched of stories I wrote ages ago and never uploaded. It's stressing me out a bit them piling up so here is one today :3 It's Misty and James together with Katie just after she was born. I hope you enjoy :3

"Wow, Misty she's so beautiful…" James breathed out in wonder as he held a tiny red headed baby in his arms for the first time.

We were all in a small hospital room together, quite exhausted from the day's sudden turn of events. Misty went into labour early this morning and now that it was evening, she had delivered two beautiful bundles into the world. James had seen both baby's briefly but now little Ben was off getting tests done, he could finally properly meet the little girl.

I saw Misty rest her head exhaustedly back on the pillow but her eyes were bright and filled with love. She had done it. After an unusual childhood and rough few years of her life, she was finally a mother and Ash was finally a father.

Ash was down at the gift shop, most likely buying way too many presents for his twins and Misty so this gave the mother and Uncle some alone time together with the newborn baby.

"Misty, she's so beautiful and tiny I just can't believe it…" the purple haired man smiled down at the little infant who looked even smaller now she was in James' arms.

The new mother couldn't help but smirk over at her best friend, sitting up carefully so he could clearly see her playful face.

"Well of course she is, she looks like me."

James gave her a brief smirk back and a sarcastic nod before his attention was claimed back by Katie, who let out a little whimper.

"What's the matter, little cutie?" the gentle man spoke gently to her, his finger stroking her cheek until her wails died down. "Is this world scary? Don't you like this world? Let me tell you, your father has saved it many times, yes he has."

I glanced over at Misty and she beamed back proudly at me at the mention of her boyfriend. She simply loved James talking about Ash because they were both very protective of her and only sometimes complimented one and other.

Our eyes turned back over to the other scene when James let out a playful gasp when he saw Katie had opened her eyes to stare up at him.

"You're such a tiny little girl but you have big, beautiful eyes. Your mother's eyes."

Misty just hummed contentedly, not being able to take her eyes off her daughter. It must be strange to see a perfect little version of you that you can share with the person you love most in the world.

Katie let out the occasional squeak as her stunning eyes travelled upwards. Her mouth gaped open when she saw what was on top of James' head.

"I think she likes your hair, Jimmy." Misty laughed quietly, causing James to look down at Katie proudly.

"Thank you very much, I grew it myself."

The red headed woman rolled her eyes at her best friend's sarcastic comment but couldn't stay irked for long. She had two beautiful children and was the happiest girl in the world.

Katie stayed staring up at her Uncle's unusual purple coloured hair for quite some time before eventually taking interest in his bright green eyes. Even though she was colour blind, she must have taken interest in the mysterious sparkle behind them.

"Wow James, I might have to hire you. You're literally a colourful piece of art my daughter loves to stare at."

He just laughed, kissing Katie's fist that was wrapped tightly around one of his fingers.

"I'm a piece of art for everyone, not just babies."

Misty just gave James a sarcastic nod of agreement before settling down in bed. I climbed next to her and cuddled into her arm so I didn't hurt her in any way. The lavender haired male just smiled me while his best friend massaged my head. The room was filled with tranquillity.

James stayed studying his goddaughter, his face not being able to help but light up every time he noticed something new about her. Eventually he had finished checking her out and held her in the crook of his arm so she could sleep.

"I just can't believe this…"

Both Misty and I stopped our own bonding to look over at James confusingly. The look on both of our faces was enough to get him to give an explanation."

"I can't believe I am and Uncle and God-father at the same time. I didn't think I'd be lucky enough to have my own kids but now I get to fuss over yours too."

Misty just gave James a warm smile to show she was more than happy to offer him the title and be a huge part of her children's lives.

"Everything worked out so well. I'm so glad I quit you-know-what to start my own family and settle down and be a good guy."

I smiled as James didn't want to even say the name "Team Rocket" in front of a tender newborn baby. She deserved not to know what they were for a very long time.

"I know; both of our lives have changed so much. It doesn't matter what we had in the past because we both have such treasures of our own."

James nodded in agreement, looking over at his best friend from stroking Katie's soft, new hair.

"I used to think money was everything when I was in Team you-know-what but that was only because I didn't have it. Now I do and I know that friends and family are the real wealth."

Misty just smiled over at James as he cradled her baby daughter close, his face pure contentment as he held the infant close to him. She and I had known him for nine years and it was an understatement to say he had changed a lot. It was all good, though.

"I was just stupid, plain and simple." James laughed, holding Katie out in front of him to watch her drift off in his arms.

Misty smiled once more before beginning to drift off herself.

"We all get there in the end, Jimmy."

She may have said this lightly, but she was right. James and Misty's lives had spun right around in the most positive way possible. They had nothing but now they had everything. The best thing was that they were grateful and never took any of it for granted for a single second.
