Hello :P It is Wednesday and I am back to upload a new chapter. At the beginning of the month I had a phase of really getting into Charlie and The Chocolate Factory - both the film and the book - so I wrote this. I've been wanting to write it for a year or two now but didn't really have an idea of how to do it. But I did it! This scenario is mentioned in "The One With Jazmyn, Justin and The Truth" and it is James holding a competition for 10 young people (5 at a time) to come visit he and Jessie's clothing and be shown round and at the end of it, have one offered an apprenticeship. The idea is heavily inspired by Charlie and The Chocolate Factory but I tried my hardest to make sure it was still Pokemon too and though Willy Wonka popped into my mind and influenced him, he was still James :P I had fun making up characters on the spot too - maybe they'll feature again! I hope you enjoy :3

Ages:

James: 33

Leo: 13

Laura: 13

Christopher: 12

Bentley (Mentioned): 13

Milo (Mentioned): 13

Disclaimer: I own the story and all the children mentioned :P

The lavender haired male breathed out and skillfully threw his colourful cane into the air and caught it with his other hand, going to great effort to switch the object from his left to his right. He then ushered the group of young people out of the room labelled 'The Secret Window Room', me remaining on his shoulder as I had been the entire day up to that point.

He let out another sigh, then using his left hand to gesture the children to keep on moving. He spoke after peeking behind him to make sure none of them had stayed behind in the fascinating room before locking it behind him. He touched his forehead briefly.

"Well, this is the Simply J factory, children and I hope you're enjoying it so far." He told all the pre-teens with listening round orbs before beginning to walk slowly with them down the rest of the corridor. James paused before continuing. "I sure hope you're enjoying it more than Milo. It's such a shame he had to leave us so quickly."

Two of the young people upon hearing this nodded their heads in agreement, their eyes wide and innocent as they took the fashion designers words literally. But one of them shared a secret smirk alone with the lavender haired male. But he remained quiet, leaving it to the only female of the group to pipe up.

The children had been in a line before – James in the front with the brown skinned male behind him, followed by the red haired boy behind him and the only girl at the back. But after exiting the previous room of visitation, they had all scattered. The blonde haired female had darted close to James to talk to him. She pushed all of her wavy bright yellow locks over one shoulder and put one hand on her hip.

"It is a terrible shame that that boy had to go home." She agreed with the lavender haired male, causing him to stop walking to listen to the child. She looked up at him with big doe eyes and smiled at him with pink lips. Her hand squeezed her own hip. She then furrowed her brow. "But he should have been more appreciative. Not everybody gets an opportunity like this."

The blonde haired female known as Laura looked disappointed when James only smiled at her words and, after shuffling them back in line to their original order, carried on leading them down the long corridors of his headquarters. I found myself laughing about two instances as I held onto James' hair as we all walked.

He hadn't seemed to notice that the only girl in the group was desperately trying to impress him and it was due to infatuation rather than wanting to get the opportunity to work there when she left education. She had mentioned so many times that it was fate when she got a cold and had to swap with one of the boys and go on James' all boys tour and said boy had gone in her place at Jessie's all girls tour of the factory. She had mentioned it so many times in fact that James had to have noticed her little crush on him. It was the lavender haired male, after all, and not my raven haired best friend!

Speaking of people with jet black hair, that was the other instance that was on my mind. Like all of the children and James, I couldn't believe it when we went into The Secret Window Room – more commonly known as the security office room – and after the quietest of the children was fascinated by the monitors and asked to review some footage from earlier in the day – caught Milo talking to his father outside how he didn't even care for the opportunity in the fashion world and simply wanted an easy job and easy money while he slacked off at school. After hearing those words, it's not surprising that James sent him back home. He had been surprisingly cheerful about it but it left a bitter taste in my mouth. I couldn't believe it. But perhaps James was glad to have a smaller group then! After all, showing five children around his headquarters to give them an opportunity to study there and earn some money while attending an ordinary school was a big task.

The lavender haired male was remembering Milo and his snarky mouth and how he sent him home without the opportunity to see more rooms nor the papers to register for the apprenticeship when he moved over to a particular cube of glass with buttons on the side. I didn't have time to think anymore and I didn't have time to think of the resemblance either. But one of the children did.

The red haired quiet boy with glasses breathed out and pushed his frames further up his nose before looking up at James with wonder. He almost moved to the front of the group with intrigue. Almost.

"Well I never!" he breathed out in a whisper, causing James to already politely smile at him. The other two children looked at him and listened to what he would go on to say. "A great glass elevator. How marvellous. It seems like it's straight out of a book!"

James then couldn't help but smile for real at the boy known as Christopher as he pushed the button to open said elevator before letting the children inside before he stepped in too. They all smiled gratefully but Laura mostly, of course.

"I don't know about that." The lavender haired male murmured in response to Christopher before lifting the sleeve of the knee length coat to (not rudely) look at his watch. He then smiled at no one in particular. "But it definitely is handy for getting about all these rooms. Especially after the busy morning we've already had!"

All of the children nodded in agreement and as James pressed a button to take them to a particular to room, they engaged with one and other in ecstatic chatter in all the memories they had shared together that day. I listened in as they reminisced.

Milo being sent home early for being sneaky? That was a good one! Laura getting her hair caught in one of the fans in the boiler room? That was funny! Christopher losing his glasses in the eyewear room and all of us spending a good hour going through them all to find the ones belonging to him? That was tedious but a good memory.

After the children stopped reminiscing and stopped looking down at all the sights below from inside the glass elevator, they listened to James reading the labels on the doors and explaining a little bit about what went on inside.

I had been to he and his wife's factory many many times since it was built but that day was just as exciting for me as it was for the children. I liked seeing it through their eyes and I enjoyed watching them enjoy their day. It made it feel new and exciting for me all over again! And I knew James felt the same way (though he hadn't gelled to all of the children).

"Alice in Blunderland." James read, trying to hide his smirk and shuffling his cue cards in case he forgot little facts about each room as he pointed them out to the children. He had only needed them once or twice that day. He continued, speaking out of his mind rather than his written dialogue. "That's the room where we store all of the clothes that have gone wrong before we send them off to be recycled. We try not to have too much waste here. A lot of things get reused."

The children nodded their heads and they listened but they were mostly too busy reading each label on the door as they whizzed past them all in the elevator. There were such exciting new words for them to read and sights to see and smells to inhale. It was all a lot for them to take in. James continued, speaking in a gentle and casual voice to not give them too much information to digest.

"Bows before Hose." He read another label on a door and I raised my eyebrow at him as he struggled even more to hide his smirk at that one. He covered his mouth briefly before continuing. Luckily, the pre-teens were too busy with their hands against the glass to notice his gleeful expression. "Bows before Hose." He repeated. "Where we make the ladies undergarments."

Laura found herself blushing upon hearing the handsome male talking about that sort of stuff (though he was only being truthful) while Christopher had heard James repeating his pun and he had seen the words printed on the door too. He turned to look at him and blinked, his hands holding onto the ears of his glasses.

"I don't get it." He mumbled, his brow furrowing but before he could repeat the words himself, James stopped him. He gave him a reassuring and innocent smile and gave him a pat on the shoulder too.

"Don't worry about it." James told him easily, leaning against the glass of his own elevator and because we were then at the outside of the building, this made little Christopher feel quite sick. He didn't feel very safe. James continued with an airy shrug. "You'll understand when you're a little older, my dear children."

I rolled my eyes at the lavender haired male for his slightly mature and crude door label while the children – though they were indeed children – all raised their eyebrows at being called that. It was of course Laura who piped up and corrected the lavender haired male. She was almost standing on her tip toes to seem taller and more mature.

"We're not children. We're all thirteen. We're pre-teens." She told James firmly and with knotted together brows before she made her eyes go wide and innocent at him. She wanted to make sure that she was his favourite. She glared at Christopher who meekly corrected her that he was actually twelve before continuing, her arms folded. "One of us is going to become your apprentice. That's very mature and definitely not for children."

I knew that on some level James agreed with her that they were indeed mini adults and one of them was about to get a good opportunity regarding their future. But he had twins who were around all of those children's age and he thought of them as his babies. So he thought of all those young people as children. And he couldn't help but continue teasing Laura more; giving her back the sweet smile that she had been giving him all day.

"I do agree with you partly but you are all dear children so that is what I shall call you. My dear children." He was only teasing the young female but after he saw her soft cheeks turning pink, he couldn't help but be gentler with her. He wouldn't want some man embarrassing his daughter. He gave Laura a fatherly pat and a brief but genuine smile. "Have I told you that I love that coat of yours? You really would fit right in if it is you who gets this opportunity."

I couldn't help but giggle inside and probably on the outside when, upon hearing this, the wavy blonde haired female's cheeks blushed for a different reason and she batted her eyelids up at the much older man. After she purred a thank you to him, I found myself biting the inside of my cheeks to stop myself giggling obviously.

What was it with young girls and James? Katie had been absolutely enamoured and besotted with him since the day she was born and I knew it didn't just stop with her. They all seemed to click with him. Whether it was his handsome face or his childlike qualities, I didn't really know. I knew that it didn't just stop with young girls. Even though he was an ex-rocketeer, it seemed that everybody simply loved Jim.

The brown skinned male rolled his eyes as – again – he was the only person who was obviously noticing and reacting to Laura's infatuation with James. But before he could comment, Christopher saw a room that obviously intrigued him. He squinted as he read.

"Benjamin Button Room? Neat!" he observed, and decided to move closer to James to get a better look at the label on the door before he asked a question about it. He moved close to James, almost standing toe to toe with him. He smiled up at him. He opened his mouth to ask a question. I cooed casually, causing Christopher and myself to remember his little fear of me. He froze for a minute but he soon darted back to the other end of the elevator, pressing his back to the glass as we were then back inside the building.

I shook my head sadly while he quivered and tried his best to hide his panting breath. But he shuddered and shivered all over.

"Gah!" he cried out though he was far away from me, causing both Laura and the brown skinned male to raise an eyebrow at him. I felt very sad by it while James was trying to put on a sympathetic face but I knew that inside he was starting to get a little bummed by it. I felt the same way too but I was mostly sad. That had happened quite a few times that day – whenever I ended up near Christopher - his face somehow turned blue and green at the same time.

James normally had so much patience with people and their fears. He was a father and, after all, he had a lot of practice dealing with Misty and her unusual phobias. Though he was excited about showing all of the children around, he had been with them for hours. And not only that, but he had had to deal with the snarky Milo and another unpleasant child too. So, poor Christopher was becoming increasingly tedious to him. But he remained professional and fatherly. He hid his inside emotions and continued being patient. He didn't touch him but he moved nearer to him to reassure him before standing back at the head of the elevator.

"C'mon people." James addressed them all, gently and humorously tapping his cane on the glass floor of the lift before gesturing to them all with his gloveless hand. "Let's all get back into line and in the right order. Remember, we created that order so Christopher felt comfortable? That's why we have Leo behind me and Christopher being protected by him and Laura behind her. See? There's a method to all of this madness."

The red haired and youngest of the group breathed out gratefully at James organising the group and though I wanted to smile reassuringly at him, I didn't. The last time I had done that, I had made him feel sicker.

Though James thought it best to change the subject, Leo who was the most intriguing of the group and seemed to like being quiet to just soak up it all, looked at Christopher. He couldn't help but ask him curiously.

"Is it just Pikachu or is it all Pokémon?" he asked him a valid question, causing all of our ears to prick up too. Though none of us had asked before, we all had wanted to ask the very same thing. Before continuing his question, he leaned forward to give me a gentle and friendly poke on the noise. "Because, like The Benjamin Button room, this little guy is as cute as a button!"

In that moment, I was very glad that I had gone along on James' tour for moral supported. I really enjoyed the affection from new people and, though he had almost been outshone in some ways by the other children, I really liked Leo. In other ways however, he stood out. My gladness and warm feeling in my stomach soon turned to hurt when Christopher shuddered again.

"I really really wish you wouldn't pet him like that in front of me." He mumbled queasily, trying to focus on the fact he was safe back in line. But he took his glasses off so his vision was blurry for a few moments. He then answered Leo through clenched jaws. "It's all Pokémon, though. Every single one of them."

Leo nodded his head sympathetically and I knew I really liked him when he gave Christopher an accepting pat and moved back to protect him even more. I knew James noticed this too but he didn't comment. He was too busy shuffling slightly under the intense yet deer like gaze of Laura.

"I've offered before and I can offer once more but are you sure you don't want Pikachu to go elsewhere?"

I was hurt thinking that Christopher would say yes but deep inside, I understood. People have and had fears. What can you do? But the hurt in my stomach wasn't needed when the red haired boy felt braver when he was with the lion-like Leo. All he did was shake his head but I knew and James knew that he was okay with me being with them as long as I kept my distance. I made my peace with that.

After James continued reciting more rooms to the children on the way to the one that we were actually headed to, Laura couldn't help but scrunch her nose up and speak to the lavender haired male. She leaned casually against the glass as she did so. She pretended to inspect her nails but she giggled.

"We don't want to lose Pikachu like we lost that kid. Mercedes, that was his name, right?" she asked and continued before anyone had the chance to stop smirking at the memory and correct her. She smirked herself. "I can't believe he thought an apprenticeship was the same as a scholarship!"

"That's rich people for you." Leo piped up, standing near to a silent Christopher while James also kept silent at the brown skinned male's statement. But he didn't stay silent for long. After smirking at the memory of the other child who had indeed left the group – but unlike Milo, it was voluntarily after believing he was above the opportunity – he had to correct Laura.

"His name was Bentley." He told her with a gentle smile and she didn't feel embarrassed. He was talking to her and that was all that mattered. "But I agree. Serves him right for thinking he's above all this. I know this factory is my own but I'm very proud of it. We've got a good team here and hopefully one of you will be joining us."

Leo remained quiet and observant in that moment while Christopher had gotten over his shivering enough to speak. He even put his glasses back on the end of his nose. He even showed off a shaky grin as well!

"Some people simply think they're so smart when in reality, they possess the basic kind of cleverness!" he announced in such an extroverted way that I was beginning to forget that he was so afraid of me. Luckily I stopped myself high fiving him before I sent him into another fit of panic.

James nodded in agreement and was warming back up to Christopher but he didn't have time to say anything because Laura spoke loudly up.

"Speaking of smart." She began, her eyelids fluttering again up at the lavender haired male. I knew what was coming and in that moment, I knew that he did too. She pushed to the front of the group again, her hand briefly going on James' stomach causing him to feel very uncomfortable. "You are so smart to be coming up with all of these room names? It is you who comes up with all of the room names isn't it, Mr Morgan?"

Leo silently rolled his eyes at her but, like ever, he didn't say anything. His piercing green orbs contrasted his smooth dark skin as he observed everything. James slowly nodded his head, trying to stop his own eyes from darting between Laura's face and her hand on his stomach.

"Yeah I come up with them. Well, my wife and I do. Sometimes my friends as well." He told her truthfully once again but his answer caused her cheeks to blush slightly pink. She really did want to impress him and she showed her age by not liking that he had a wife even though of course, everybody knew that he did.

I knew I liked Leo even more then when he changed the subject to stop Laura feeling even more rejected by James. Though he found her show-off-y and sometimes rude, he didn't want her feeling bad. She was just a kid, after all. He was too. But there was something very mature and wise about him yet cheeky too.

"There's no way there's all of these rooms." He announced to James, a slight grin on his face but more of a grin in his eyes. A kind and laid back grin. He continued. "There's no way."

Like myself, James could sense the inward presence of Leo. He hadn't spoken too much that day, but when he had, it was usually humorous or kind or curious. He had asked many questions about the business and the factory in the morning. He seemed like he really wanted to soak it in. And James' eyes glinted back when the dark haired male spoke. He gave him a look.

"How do you know, Mr Smarty Pants?" he asked him seriously before he broke into a grin and gave him a light poke with his cane. He almost nodded his head approvingly at him when Leo's hair flopped over his eyes and he grinned back.

But their little somewhat bonding moment came to a halt when they finally were at their destination. The great glass elevator pinged and we all got out and in the correct order. James was the leader, followed by Leo who was remaining protecting Christopher. And Laura was at the back, still tossing her hair.

The lavender haired male lead them over to the door of the room and his eyes read over the name that he himself of course had come up with. It was The Drawing Room. The room, like its name suggested, was the room where people gathered to create fashionable sketches before showing them to the designers. But unlike the name that also meant a different kind of room, not many people were welcome in that room. James was about to point out the irony in that and unlock it for the children to see when, oddly, Christopher wandered out of line. He even moved past me. Something had piqued his interest.

Instead of looking at The Drawing Room that James had wasted many many many minutes taking them all too, he wandered over to the door that was on the same wall a few feet from it. He adjusted his glasses before he squinted through them. He went on tiptoes to read the label. Laura read it for him aloud as all of us came behind him to be shown that part of the factory instead.

"The Clean-O and Stitch Room." She read, understanding the twist on a beloved children's film before, like Christopher and Leo, she turned to look at James with curious eyes. "What goes on in this one?"

Before James could get out his cue cards and before he could answer with words of his own, Christopher did another thing that was most unlike him. He was feeling giddy thinking he had a new friend and protector in Leo and was getting bold. He grabbed hold of the doorknob himself. Before he could utter that he was going to find out himself what went on in that room, James tried to warn him.

"Trust me, kid, you do not want to go in there." He told him, giving him a firm and knowing look. I didn't catch on. Maybe Leo did. "You really don't want to be going in there."

James tried to tell him and he tried to stop him but for once, Christopher was having none of it. He shook his head.

"Nonsense." He told the older male and his eyebrows knotted behind his glasses frames. He continued shaking his head. "I've seen Bentley quit. I've seen Laura get her hair caught in the fan! It's time for a little bit of adventure for me."

Christopher enunciated his last word like James had and before the green orbed male could stop him, he grinned and opened the door knob. He proudly went inside. The lavender haired male winced as he prepared for his reaction. Leo did too. I did as well. Laura blinked. She soon covered her ears when Christopher let out a high pitched scream from inside. James sighed.

"I told him. I told you. Didn't I tell you? I told him, didn't I?" he breathed out, somehow speaking past Christopher's screams. Instead of helping him right away, James put his hands on his hips and looked between Leo and Laura. "If his parents sue me, I warned him not to. You saw me do it, didn't you?"

James was speaking in a level tone and he kept his cane in his hand. He was about to head into the room to help out the young boy when, suddenly, Christopher came dashing out of it with quite some speed. He continued wailing from the sight of all the water and bug Pokemon working together inside the room to clean and sew the clothes. James tried to stop the boy and reassure him but he ran right past him, his arms flailing in the air.

"Oh I cannot do this! I cannot! I cannot work here if there's those creatures in that very room! I simply can't! Goodbye Mr Morgan, Sir!"

And with that, Christopher ran out of the building at high speed, deciding to find his own way home, leaving all of us very baffled.

James just stood there. His eyes wide. He had just begun warming to him too. He had just started to imagine that kid working there. He had started to see it all. And then, just like that, he was gone. Just like that, there were just two children left. Laura broke the silence.

"There he goes." She said with a shrug, taking a packet of chewing gum out of her pocket and beginning to chew it casually. Without looking at her hard, I knew that she was pleased Christopher had been frightened so. Though James had found him slightly irritating and he hadn't helped him right away, he hadn't exactly found his fear funny. And in that moment, though she was a perfectly sweet girl really, he didn't exactly like her. And in that moment also. He knew that he wanted only one person to be his apprentice. And it wasn't her.

While Leo looked concerned that Christopher had left so abruptly, James pretended to look at his watch. He let out a soft gasp.

"Oh my, this is almost all we've got time for." He said simply before quickly turning on his heel. He snapped his fingers at Laura and gave her a charming smile. "If you can answer this question, the apprenticeship is yours."

I tilted my head and watched. She seemed to be such a smart girl. She seemed as though she had really been listening to James and taking in all that he had said. And she had done all that. But she hadn't taken in much of the important stuff. She merely viewed it as almost a social event. She hadn't taken the time to memorise her potential future place of work.

So that made it clear that it wasn't going to be her future place of employment. And James knew this before he asked her the question which she had gotten wrong and caused her to storm out with crocodile tears. She ran out even though James had complimented her for her effort and thanked her for joining them to ease the blow. Even so, he then pretended to sigh as she left the building along with Christopher.

"Such a shame. I was such a fan of her." He said seriously but I knew and Leo knew that he was referring to the incident that had happened to her earlier in the day. After Leo grinned pearly white teeth at him, James did the same back and he patted him on the shoulder before enthusiastically shaking his hand. He then led him along the corridors to his private office. "Well then, dear Leo, I guess you've won. You're officially the least rotten and you've earned the right to this apprenticeship."

While Leo just breathed out and smiled upon hearing this, I was positively buzzing inside as I finally hopped off of James' shoulder and seated myself on one of the chairs in his office. My smile was beaming as much as my insides were. I was so happy for him. I liked Leo so much. I knew I liked him from the very beginning. From his observing nature to his kindness to the red haired boy to him being the only one not correcting James for saying 'my dear boy' or 'my dear children'. I believed that they really could get along. And I knew that James thought that too as he rambled on about the application sheet.

"All you gotta do is fill this out with the help of an adult. It can be a brother or a sister or a friend but ideally it needs to be a parent. But situations aren't always ideal so it can be whoever you've got really. Just get this filled out and send it here and we can figure out more about how many hours you want to do and when and what kind of area you want to get into and whatnot. We can-"

"Mr Morgan." Leo interrupted him, catching us both by surprise. He looked oddly vulnerable. And he had a watery quality in his green orbs. James blinked and looked back at him with confused eyes but his eyes also told him to call him by his first name. So he did. "James."

Leo breathed out. He was almost shaking. He leaned his hip against James' chair that was tucked into his desk and he ran a hand through his hair. He shook his head and he bit his lip too.

"I don't want to lie to you, I really don't." he told him and before he could ask what on earth he was talking about, he found out. Leo blurted out. "The truth is, I'm not really interested in fashion. I mean I am but-"

"You're not like that Milo kid, are you?" James asked him in an almost rumbling tone, his eyes filling with a deep quality of sadness. He looked very hurt. Very very hurt. But he swallowed and continued. "That kid just wanted an easy life to do whatever he pleases. I may have been like that at some point in my life but not anymore. We built this whole company on hard work. We did it ourselves. All of our employees must be like that. You must-"

He tried to continue but Leo interrupted again. His piercing green orbs met James' one of almost the same shade but of a different quality.

"I know you value hard work and guess what? I know you value truth too. So I'm telling you the truth. I do like fashion. I wouldn't have come here otherwise. But it's your other job that I'm really after. I didn't know how else to get noticed by you. I'm just a kid and I couldn't officially apply for anything. I can draw but-"

That time, James interrupted Leo as he breathed out with realisation. I was clueless in that moment and my eyes were pricking with tears thinking that Leo had been a false.

"You're interested in my other job? Of course you are. I knew that I saw you eyeing up my arm when I took off my jacket in the dining hall." James breathed out, causing Leo to smile shyly though he was still somewhat nervous. I was still clueless. Other job? But it soon became clear to me. James sat down in the chair and offered Leo the other one. "Of course you are, kid. You want to come by my other shop. Of course you do."

James was a people reader and in that moment, he read Leo like a book. He knew he sensed something about Leo. He thought he was wrong but he should've trusted his instinct. He knew there was something that didn't quite meet the eye with him. And he was right. He was wrong a few times. But in the long run, he was right. And I began to realise it too. I smiled when perhaps we were going to hold on a little longer to the dark skinned male after all.

Though James was smiling, Leo nodded his head apologetically at him. He pushed his hair from his eyes to look at him sincerely.

"I'm sorry to have lied to you. I'm sorry you went to all this effort for a slight fake. But I'm not all a fake. I know I can draw. I know that's what I want to do. I just didn't know how else to be noticed by you."

In that moment, James felt a lump grow in his throat for Leo. He had been his age once. He had been vulnerable. He had been helpless. He still was at times but there was a time when he was Leo's age and he had heroes too. And he had talents but didn't know how to utilise them. Leo spoke again, putting a lump in my throat too.

"I didn't know what to do. I don't know what to do." He told James and was most likely referring to a future job but I somehow sensed otherwise. I somehow sensed that he didn't have much guidance and when he did, it wasn't the best kind.

But James continued smiling at him. His eyes softened for him and I would remember that even when times grew rough for them. He lightly patted Leo on the back before handing him the application that was to be filled out. But he flipped it over so the blank was showing.

"The same thing applies as before really." James told him with gentle eyes and continued when the thirteen year old boy blinked. He nodded his head encouragingly. "The same thing applies. But ignore the survey on the front and write on the back for me. Write your full name, write your address and write your phone number. Write to me why you want to be a tattoo artist. And send it to me."

Leo breathed out upon hearing this and though he was smiling with disbelief, his nostrils were growing moist with tears. I knew I really did like him. James chuckled shyly as he continued.

"Then you can come with your mom or your dad – whatever your situation at home is – you can come to my home studio and we'll have a proper talk about your options? How does that sound?"

That sounded wonderful to me. And it must have sounded wonderful to Leo. But he couldn't answer James. He almost froze. I didn't understand his emotion then but years on, I do now. He really didn't know what to do.

He hadn't wanted to lie to James initially. But in that moment, he felt he had to. It was easier than saying the truth. It was easier than telling him the truth about his father. So he forced a nod and he forced a smile. He took the piece of paper from James. His piercing green orbs met his gentle ones.

"That sounds brilliant, thank you." He told him with another nod of the head, causing his thick and dark locks to flop over his forehead. But they couldn't for a second obscure the bright and brilliance of his eyes. He swallowed. "Because of you, I know what to do. So thank you. Because of you, I have a plan."

A sincere nod and an equally sincere smile was shared between Leo and James following the heartfelt words from the thirteen year old boy. I was smiling in that moment but right now, after telling you this tale, I am thoughtful.

Neither of them could have possibly known what was planned for them. When they met, they met so innocently. It doesn't feel real that in some moments it became dark and it became evil.

But in the long run, none of that mattered. James had sensed something in him that he couldn't quite explain. Was it a kinship? Maybe. But it was far more than that. It was far more than them both being terrified of the very same man. It was far more than them both wearing an R upon their chests. They didn't know it but in that moment, they would love the same girl. They would both love Jazmyn. One would love her and the other would be in love with her.

Their passion of ink on the skin started their journey but it was the purple haired female that continued it. It was her that bound them. And after it was all said and done and after a long long long ride, it was her that made them family.

The End.

There you go! Thanks so much for reading and I hope you enjoyed :3 I hope this wasn't too long, I think it's one of my longest but I had to cover a lot! In some ways, I'm pleased with this and in others, I'm not as it's a little different from anything I've done before. But it's good to try something new! Leo is the boy who ends up being Jazmyn's boyfriend and he's also the son of Giovanni. As I've mentioned in a previous story, he goes on a mission to purposely get close to Jessie and James to research the best way to get to them and bring them down as Giovanni wants revenge for his secret favourite agents quitting the organisation to raise a family. The plan was for Leo to go into the fashion side of their companies but in a way, he double crosses his father. He goes along with the plan to get close to the Morgan's at first but bends it so he gets to be a tattoo apprentice in the future instead as that is genuinely what he's interested in. But after falling for Jazmyn, he of course doesn't want to follow Giovanni's orders at all. I want to write more about him, it was fun making his quiet but strong personality coming through here :3 Thanks again for reading and I will be back next Wednesday with another chapter so see you then!
